This was a BLAST from the PAST! I half way expected my grandparents to come walking in. The atmosphere was amazing!!! The food was devine!!! Everything about this place is comfort! There was one cashier that was most definitely a rotten apple... but she didnt ruin the whole bunch! Truly amazing experience! Will mos def be returning!!!

Much more than just candy although they have alot of candy. They have fresh popcorn of all kinds of flavors. Fudge several flavors of candied and caramel apples. Gifts and wall hangings. But, my favorite is the ice cream old fashioned soda shop. So many flavors of shakes and malts. Several custom sundaes. Nice place to sit inside.

My wife and I enjoyed this place. Lots of items from our childhood here. I would give that last star but service was lacking here. There was samples to try of popcorn but the kids working were interested in talking to themselves more than customer service. Great selection of products and o may come back for the dill pickle popcorn!

Fun place and nice employees. I bought a couple of Bawls energy drinks, and an employee offered to open one with a bottle cap opener for me. The keto fudge had good flavor, but those crystals which form when the sweetener cools off... but it was good.

Huge bulk candy section, Amazing shakes, icecream, and soda fountain. Staff is very friendly. Tourists I highly recommend you stop by this gorgeous place and check it out!

I recently visited this location for the first time. I was impressed with the decor, style and sheer amount of options available. It has the feel of an old fashioned candy store and soda shop all in one. They offer wrapped candies, bulk candies and multiple different types of fresh popcorn, carmel/candy apples, fudge, chocolates and more. You can also order many different types of ice cream treats. I found the prices for things such as ice cream, apples and fudge to be comparable to similar stores. I give this shop 4 stars because their asking price for basic candies (M&Ms, snickers, suckers, etc) to be extremely overpriced. If you are looking for a specialty treat I recommend visiting. It would be a great place for date night or a night out with the kids. I have not tried any of their products yet so I will review again once I do but I feel confident my eyes were not deceiving me on the deliciousness of the treats. Bring some quarters as well, the shop offers some fun old fashioned games including Zoltar!

Great selection and friendly staff

They had a great selection of candy from giant gummies bears to Candy cigarettes and big foot poop. We spent more then we planned because it was hard to choose. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Over priced and staff not trained in customer services well. Kept getting side eye and peeks around the corner without us being asked if we needed any help. Made the birthday girl feel uncomfortable the whole time. I bought a root beer float called The Boss thaynsays It comes with a generous helping of vanilla icecream. (The only good thing about that float) It turns out to be a medium water-downed flat root beer float with a small scoop of ice cream at best. They need to change that title. Worst root beer float ever.

Such a fun experience. Candy selection is great and the malt shop is awesome. Added bonus of watching them make treats in house!

Although I love to buy local and support small business I won’t be going back to Candy Town. Way over priced and I have gotten stale candy on more than one occasion. I did take this $17 bag of hard candy back and the clerk was very nice. She tasted it and agreed that it was stale.☹️

My daughter took me here. After spending over $31 they treated us like criminals. And the over priced root beer float was flat and disgusting before buying one as for a sample. It was called the boss and was suppose to get a generous amount of ice cream which we got only one scoop that root beer float was not worth $5. As we was looking around. I noticed we was being watched. After that I stood in front so they can watch me. But do you think they watched other people? For your information Native American dont all steal and there are some white people that steal. We spent a good amount of money there and there are some white people that go there with no money but they arent being watched So when your watching us those other people are stealing right behind your backs.

Was looking for big lollipops for a kids birthday. They had exactly what I needed and they were a hit at the party.

Candy Town is the best place in Billings to pick up some sweets! They also have a really cool old fashioned soda fountain set up in the store. Staff is always friendly and this place has something for everyone fudge, popcorn, ice cream, novelty items, and of course candy. Its conveniently located right off Shiloh, definitely recommend this place.

Went in with my kids for a ice cream cone. The staff was very nice the place was clean and I loved the atmosphere. We will definitely be going back.

For a five year old kid, the place is a dreamland! For someone that pays attention to customer service, they definitely miss the mark, at least on my son and Is visit on Fathers day. With the exception of one of the four or five teenage girls working, not one of them looked happy to be at work. They completely ignored my son and his curious mind and his various and typical five year old questions. I even heard one of them mention about either myself or another group that our timing of sense of humor (nothing other than two fathers joking around about their kids having fun in THEIR establishment) wasnt ideal (they were close to closing time). But regardless of time, in a place like that you need to have people working there that have a smile on their face from start to finish. People come there to put smiles on the faces of their kids and their families and if the people working there dont have or cant have a smile on her face even if its faked, shouldnt be working any customer service job let alone one that caters to families and kids. The prices are also a little high but thats to be expected in a novelty store like they are and the rating of this review is not affected by such prices.

Had so much fun looking around and spent way to much money

I live in Australia and my mom just moved to Billings. I always send her a gift on her birthday so when I searched the web and found this store filled with all the wonderful treats my mom loves and I ventured to get it delivered. I called over the phone and found with each person I talked to they all were so kind and professional. I have not been an easy customer because there has been some delivery things where my mom wasn’t there to answer, but each time the staff worked with me and never was flustered with my lack of knowledge but found a way to accommodate my needs with poise and grace. I recommend them to anyone wanting to send some love to another! Thank you so much!!!

Staff is helpful but everything is at a high markup. They do everything by price and instead of having the price per pound on the wall they have the price per ¼ pound which makes it confusing. Wish the staff was more knowledgeable as well with there products.

Its so hard to find an old fashioned soda bar, and this one has the best ice cream Ive ever had! Im from out of state and make it an essential part of my trip to come here every single time. They have such friendly staff and play some sweet old music. The selection of bulk candy is awesome, and their prices for the treats are excellent. Also check out their fudge, they have tons of options and theyre absolutely delicious.

Friendly staff. Good selection. Fair pricing for items by weight. Though, I do think some of the candy bars are a bit too steep in the price. A fifth avenue regular size was going for $2.50. I like the store though, and today (Tuesday) I just found out was half off Taffy day. Taffy is what I was going in to buy, so that was a bonus.

Super cool! The smell of candy hits you like a brick in the head as soon as you walk through the door. They have an amazing selection of candies, ice creams, cookies, milkshakes, and sodas. It is simply a wonder to witness all of the vintage and newer candies. I would recommend the triple-dipped malt balls and the dark chocolate cranberries. They also have sugar-free options if you so desire.

Stopped in here with my brother to get some shakes. I cant recall the name of the one I got but it was the cookies and cream one and it was awesome, he ordered the marsh mellow shake.

Pretty good selection, nothing else like it in the area, a good time killer if you’re waiting for a movie. More than candy, they have all kinds of trinkets and even their own branded merchandise.

I love you. No, for real. Best candy store, in my own opinion, in the northern half of the United States. They carry English imports. FROM ACTUAL ENGLAND! Never lets me down and usually end up with a good chunk of my cash for the favor. Recommended stop if your staying or passing through Billings.

Such a fun store! Andy and I stopped in to find a few sweet stocking stuffers for a few children on our list and we ended up finishing our shopping for a few hard to shop for adults on our list as well. Tons of unexpected finds and great gifts! Excellent customer service! When the friendly lady who was ringing us up overheard our plans of mailing one of our purchases, she offered a perfect sized box and wrapped the gift with tissue to insure safe shipping, at no extra cost. Super sweet, just like the candy!

They need to have Limon7 packets again... sad to see they didnt have them anymore.

This is THE place to get your candy on and Im not saying this lightly because I dont have much of a sweet tooth. They have freshly baked fudge daily and some of the best customer service I have seen in a good while. You can get mixed bag of candy for a decent price or buy pre-bagged goodies for around the same price as Walmart or Winco although its a tiny bit pricier. But not by much. So if you want to feel like a kind in a candy store, go here.

Candy town is really great. Im a big fan of the chocolate haystacks at this location and is where I always head whenever I want candy even though other locations are closer. The chocolates are to die for and I come from Europe and usually detest the chocolate here. Try the Terrys Chocolate orange if theyve got one in stock here for a taste of heaven.

There is an amazing selection of various kinds of sweets, confections and delicious treats with helpful workers and a surprisingly well thought out store presentation. The very many smells made me nauseous, but its the only place Ive found hands made hay stacks. Pretty worthwhile if candy is your thing.
