2 bikes, 2 tune ups.Running great, running smooth.Had a bent rear derailleur hanger (part of the frame) and they straightened it out. Bike is rejuvenated and flying.Charged accordingly and fairly. Excellent service and nice people.

As a business owner I can really appreciate a good customer service experience and know what keeps a customer. One being when you ask when they can do the work they say now, another they make the promise time when they say.

I called several places in Berkeley and they were by far the cheapest ($50 for a basic check-up compared to $120 at most other places). When I went they, they told me I only needed the breaks and the gears adjusted and only charged me $20. The bike rides phenomenally again, all issues resolved. Everyone was also incredibly friendly and helpful. Will definitely make this my go-to place.

I know Nick from racing bikes and have heard that he has opened his own shop, so I have been taking my bikes there now, so far I have had a wheel trued/tension, and a insurance write up for my bike done by Nick, and Jonah, for a great a price with attention to detail. Theyre skilled mechanics/riders and I trust them to do a great job with all my high end bike repair needs.

The crew did a full tune of my road bike and it hums. Fast service, the work quality is top-notch, and an easy walk from most spots in South Berkeley for car-free drop-offs/pickup. Will be bringing the whole fleet here from now on, highly recommended.

Good for basic issues, not so much re more complicated early 70s vintage Campagnolo bottom bracket English threaded spec matching with Campagnolo crankset. I am sure they can handle most bike issues, so maybe great for most riders. Also newer cassette components are easier, and they likely know about recent racing gear. They are fast. Follow-up: The owners addressed issue by removing the ill-fitting crankset.
