It was my first time visiting this dealership. I went in on 03/26/2021 for a recall repair. On top of that I requested a software update. The repair and software update were done courteously well and fast. Very professional.I had a privilege to meet Bill who was very knowledgeable and kind. Thanks Bill!Im giving them 4 stars because I requested information about possible extended warranties or maintenance services but I got a rather confusing answer. It all felt like they dont want to answer your request but wanted to appear helpful at the same time.

Poor customer service (shady people). Was told car would get in house warranty (lie); was told it would be taken to a specific dealership for maintenance (lie); and incredibly slow turn over on loan approval (10 days after purchase, the bank still has no record of approved loan or loan ID; which breaks the banks policy for me to provide proof of insurance to them in the required 10-window), and failing to return my calls regarding this information.Its simple: if youre interested in a vehicle, look elsewhere.

The service department has always been great! Unfortunately, they no longer have service records on your vehicle prior to mid-2018 due to an ownership change. This is very disappointing. Businesses change ownership all of the time...but the records stay with the new owner. For example...banks, medical providers, etc. But not this dealership. The General Manager was not sensitive to this issue and was of no help. Very disappointing to not be able to find the service history on the car. I would think that to be important for new buyers, who trust they will keep track of everything. It is not the service departments fault....they have always been excellent. This issue lies with the new ownership. They do not seem to care.

Smolich Volvo and specifically John and Joey offer outstanding service. I have a newer Volvo that I bought out of the area, and had not been excited about the only service company in town because of repeated negative services for other vehicles serviced by same name. Smolich Volvo is entirely different! From the service reps to the financial rep, I have been treated with extraordinary respect and care. Issues with my Volvo, which were apparently somewhat uncommon enough for Smolich to reach out to Volvo itself, have been resolved. Additionally, an issue I have had for more than a decade with my Jeep was also resolved in once service call with Smolich Volvo which employs a Dodge tech. I am entirely pleased with the friendly, professional service and the outcomes of all my experiences with this team. I highly recommend anyone trust this team! Thank you.

Check in was poor. Service employee left and never came back. Another employee happened to come in 10 min and helped . Was going to get a call when service completed. Never received a call. We have been a customer almost a decade and have always had great service. This was abnormal

We worked out a deal over the phone, new standard for buying cars I guess, all worked out well and will be taking delivery in about a week.

The service department is really nice at Smolich Volvo. When I recently went in to have new brake pads installed, they made me feel welcome from the moment I entered the door. The person who was behind the counter made sure I knew exactly what was going to be done to my Volvo and how much everything would cost ahead of time. Plus, he was able to fit me into y scheduled within a few minutes. After a short, pleasant wait in the comfortable waiting room, I was on my way. My brakes work great, BTW!

My wife and I purchased our first Volvo, a XC60 T5 Momentum just a few days ago from Smolich Volvo (Bend, OR). Not only did we get a great deal, but a very fair trade-in on our 2015 Subaru Legacy. The Sales and Finance Team was terrific, answered all our questions, and never pressured us to do anything...but enjoy the experience of possibly buying a very fine luxury SUV (very safe, very roomy and all the extras that a couple would need...or want). I very rarely write reviews but in this case I felt compelled to do so because my most recent experience with Smolich Volvo was fantastic! Our Volvo wagon was damaged while on a road trip that required a new engine to be installed and the level of professionalism, communication and transparency was off the charts great. John, the service manager was willing to go out of his way to keep us informed regularly and most importantly he was very honest about the complexity of getting the work done on time and accurate. We were greeted promptly as soon as we walked in. Our service was completed in a timely manner. The service tech even pointed out that we needed new tires soon. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly. Would highly recommend Smolich Volvo to anyone.

I did not find the service tech to be friendly or helpful at addressing my concern with our vehicle. One of the reps was very nice but we werent working with him. When we picked up the vehicle it had not been washed. When asked they dais that their wash bay was down. They did offer to have me us go to another car wash and put it on their account. This was only after i asked about it.

David was super helpful, honest, and didnt pressure us at all. He was able to show us all aspects of the car and knew about all the different options and models. Great team and will visit them again.

Great service, set us up with a loaner car to use. Tech forgot to wash/vacuum the car which I would expect when spending over $1k on repairs, but the service manager resolved the issue by setting us up with a was service. Overall happy with the experience

Knowing that Smolich was busy and short handed, I asked them to do something extra on my Volvo before I took off for a long distance trip. They did it. The cost was less than expected. Since I have started coming here, I have encountered a helpful and ready to serve attitude. That has worn quite well with me. Makes me want to use them first and foremost.

We have always taken our Volvo here for service. We were happy and liked Bob. Ever since he left the service department has not been the same. The current person, John always seems disinterested in your problem. Never smiles or greets you. He doesnt seem to offer any alternatives to your issue. I think I will find a new service shop for my Volvo.

Very professional and prompt service

We recently visited Smolich Volvo looking at the Volvo XC series. Mike Doyal gave us a great overview of the XC40s and XC60s taking us out for test drives and answering our many questions. He is a very professional and personable. We felt in good, competant hands with Mike. As we got closer to making a decision we stumbled on an opportunity to purchase a slighty used vehicle at another dealer (non Volvo). So although we did not purchase a Volvo at this time from Mike we came away impressed with the staff at Smolich Volvo and expect to return when the XC40 is released with a hybrid or all electric engine. I highly recommend Mike as an excellent source of information on Volvo.

I have been coming in to have my Volvo serviced here since I moved to Bend two years ago. Each time I come in, Im greeted with kindness and prompt attention. Each member of the Service Department seems to go over and above to meet my needs, and I trust that they have my best interest at heart. They never seem to be trying to sell me a service that I dont need, in fact, when I went in to have my headlight fixed today, they wouldnt let me pay for the new light! I will be coming back here for as long as I have my Volvo!

I cant say enough wonderful things about my car buying experience. I called them on my way to the dealership to tell them I was coming and what I wanted to test drive. They had the car ready, warming up and we were on our way to test drive within minutes. I decided to buy the car and made an offer and they made a decision within minutes and the decision maker even came out to discuss the price with me. I was so impressed. While our car buying experience was phenomenal, every time I have gone into the service department something has gone awry. The first time, the service manager was rude, and the 2nd time, I made an appointment only to be told an hour later that the appointments are check in times and my car hadnt even been started on. I had made plans accordingly and ended up having to cancel my appointment. I want to continue to give my business to Smolich Volvo, but the service departments track record is making that increasingly difficult.

Very responsive to service-related questions, and able to schedule maintenance appointments on a timely basis. Always sensitive to meeting customer satisfaction.

Waste of my time! Was lied to about the condition of the vehicle and the water pump went out the day I was suppose to buy the car. Over priced and not willing to work out a better deal with the car. I was warned and now Im warning future buyers. Dont buy a used car from Smolichs!!
