GREAT selection of beers and ciders and really cool merch as well if you want a hat or shirt etc. There is a bunch seating on the grass field they have or stools etc. There was a lot of kids running around so if that isn’t your thing I’d keep looking but it honestly wasn’t too bad and the beer and food trucks is well worth it. The staff was also incredibly helpful and nice when deciding what beer or flights I wanted.
Great place! The cool decorated indoors and the spacious outdoors are great to spend some fun times.Cool food trucks/carts outside 😋Beers are ok to good.I came here because Ive tried some of their barrel aged ones in the past and actually took some bottles home but their Pales, IPAs, etc are just ok.The servers should ask you about the pour size before serving 😉
Good vibes, awesome to go selection - not just what’s on tap.And of course the beer is good or it wouldn’t be 5 stars. Banished series is legit
Great beer, great facility, solid food choices, and an amazing outside area thats perfect for families with kids of all ages and dog owners. The vibe is great and the staff is pretty helpful and do a really nice job of getting you beer fast. El Sancho tacos are a great but relatively pricey food truck option. Cruxs food options are solid (just double-check when they serve food vs. when they focus on food truck service). If youre visiting Bend, Crux is definitely a must-visit.
Had a great time with friends here. Very relaxing, chill place. Definitely will be back again and again. Good food and drinks. Chill service with a smile. What more could we ask for? Tried the Galaxy IPA and it is incredible. Also the outdoor area is perfect. If youre in Bend (enjoy your brief stay ;)) and go to Crux!
Beer was good but the food was terrible. Ice cold grilled portobello mushrooms on a salad of iceberg lettuce? My stomach has been upset since the meal. Told the staff it was terrible and they said they were not surprised…
We stop here every time we are in Bend. Great for the dogs. The beers are plenty and tasty. They also have a good cider.
Great views. When we went there was live music and the singer was really good. Beautiful views. The food trucks have great options. Loved the burgers.
Awesome concept and space, but the food trucks left something to be desired. The Hawaiian shaved ice took 45 freaking minutes; the burger cart took 20 minutes to produce 2 grilled cheese and fries; and the only vegan option at the taco truck had very little flavor.
Beer is excellent as always. Disappointed that at 7pm the kitchen was closed due to no one wanting to work late (they opened at 11:30, so no 8 hour day??) The pizza truck wasnt open and the place was packed. The 3 food trucks were limited on menu, the Rogue Chef had amazing fish and burgers and the staff was amazing. Just wanted more choices for the teenagers
Fun pet friendly beer place with a great tacos truck located on the property. The currently crazy beer was fruity,, light and refreshing. An amazing treat after a morning hike
Great beer with an awesome view. The samplers were very reasonably priced and the beer was delicious!
Love crux! Such a cool interior, exterior, and open yard to sprawl about and sip! Great choices of food trucks around as well as benches, tables, grass, and chairs for you to choose your comfort of enjoying your beverage. I had the nitro and their IPA which were delicious! Highly reccomend if youre in the Bend area.
Take me back! The beer is amazing, Ive been frequenting this spot when Im in town since 2013. Im lucky enough to say some good friends now live and work near or in Bend! This means annual trips seem necessity. The atmosphere is great, during the day a quick bike ride there or at night on the brewery pub crawl. The beer is delicious, please try any of them and you wont be let down.
Spacious taproom and large, dog friendly, outdoor space with plenty of covered and uncovered seating. The draft list was amazingly broad, from a hoppy golden ale to barrel aged stouts and delicious sours. Everything we had between two flights was delicious! We also ate some food from The Rogue Chef. The fish and chips as well as the burger were both amazing!
Great space with a variety of brews - everyone will be able to find a beer they love. They have some great barrel aged options.
Beer and outdoor space are 5/5 but they are pretty expensive compared to other breweries that can match the quality…
I love this place. Extremely family-friendly. I wish it existed when my kids were little. Great brews, excellent food. So happy to see it packed again.
We spent a few days in Bend while our RV was being repaired. This brew pub was where we had dinner one evening and it was excellent. The beer was tasty. I had an IPA and my wife a lager and both were delicious. We ordered food from their menu and it too was delicious. The sunset view was gorgeous and their back yard was a pleasant place to be with a couple of nice fires and places to sit. Also in the back yard was a food truck which looked like it had good Mexican food. The bartender was having a ball and fun to talk with. A great experience in Bend!
I don’t live in Bend OR but anytime I visit, I have to stop at Crux Fermentation Project. Their Beers are my favorite in town. Awesome vibe for hanging out too.
Nice big outdoor space - kid and dog friendly. Lots of outdoor seating, but still not enough to accommodate the large crowds that gather here. They are currently under construction with another building.. And the beer was alright, nothing exceptional, but the atmosphere and friendly service make up for it! Oh and there are food trucks there as well.
Excellent beers! Ive been wanting to visit for a long time. They have a beer for everyone, including NA beers. Totally worth checking out.
Excellent beer in a great park-like setting. Cant go wrong stopping here for a cold beverage.
Great beer. every time I come I am blown away with the creativity
Excellent beer. Literally any style you can imagine. An amazing outside seating area almost the size of a football field. Seeing how busy it was on Wednesday afternoon, I cant imagine what it is like on the weekends but there was plenty of room to socially distance while outside. Not only do they have beer and an in-house restaurant, today they have food trucks: El Sancho Tacos, Täp Bräts, and a shave ice and Acai cart.
Crux is our beer of choice when not in Bend, but visiting this state-of-the-art brewing facility in its birthplace is a real special treat. Upon entering this large scale warehouse space, you know you have entered way more than just a typical brewery and pub. Brewing specialty beer is a way of life in Bend, and the people who do it are very passionate about it. You can tell that the employees are true Crux beer believers by the big smiles on their faces and the warm welcomes they give to customers are proof of the pride they have in their jobs. I truly felt right at home. The staff is knowledgeable, outgoing, conversational, and super friendly. If we liked Crux before, we love it now. A must stop Brewery experience for any beer aficionado! Cheers!
Crux sits atop—or at least near the top—of the beer mecca that is Bend. Their focus is on both creativity and consistency, which puts them way ahead of most other breweries throughout the state of Oregon. The 20+ available craft brews on tap nicely complement both the handful of food options inside the tasting room and the El Sancho food truck just outside. This combination of options hits on all cylinders only leaving you wanting more.So be sure to experience Crux’s innovative, tasty brews the next time you find yourself in Bend. You can thank me later. A/A+
Standing in line you have to wear a mask, but 14.5’ away about 50 people maskless. 🤣 The illogicalness of this is hilarious. Also can we talk about the 150+ people on the lawn with no mask. Just stop.Let’s
This place is awesome! It is a must stop place! Plenty of outdoor seating. And bar games. Plenty of indoor seating. The beer menu is endless and fantastic. The staff is great. The sunset behind the mountains is breathtaking. The atmosphere of this place is magic. I had the mushroom . I was happy they had a vegetarian option. Follow the directions to get there. Lots of parking. We took an uber.
Great vibe! Bring the whole family to hang out on the lawn and just relax.
Wow an amazing place for food, beer, and fun. Great tasting room/restaurant with inviting industrial design throughout. Excellent beer selection and lots of cool experimental taps. Food was superb and tasty with attention to detail and quality using many local ingredients, and tapped beers for sauces. Service was great with knowledgeable staff that can answer any question. Prices are reasonable considering quality. Hands down a must-go place if you are in town.
Cool place to hang out with great beer and many food trucks. Can be tough to find parking.
Delicious beer, awesome property, cool interior architecture, creative works of art, and tasty food, all in one place. cant go wrong by hanging out here.
Love Crux fresh beer and hazy ales, great lawn for the kiddos and mountain vistas 🤙
You know that if we lived in Bend, wed be here 4-5 nights a week, right? I think my wifes comment to me says it all about this place. There are few better spots in the world than by the fire at Crux at sunset with one of their amazing beers in your hand. Its easily not just the best brewery experience, but best experience in general.
Cool place to have a beer. Many beer, cider and soda options to choose from.
Crux has always been one of my favorite breweries so I was glad I finally got a chance to visit it. Was not a disappointment.
At Crux the beer is great, the food is interesting, unique, and delicious. Its a great place to go to get the vibe of Bend. Unfortunately parking is terrible, but I guess thats not their fault. What is though, is the seat yourself and flag down a server thing that they do. No one likes having to be aggressive to find a seat, and no one likes having to shout or wave at a server a few times to get a drink.
We got here at 9:30 on a Friday night and they had already called last call! The place was packed, so that was very strange. I didn’t get to eat this visit given it was last call, but the beers were delicious . Past experience has proven that the menu is a bit funky with not so many choices. Still an excellent place to watch the sunset and the new expansion makes getting a seat much easier. The beer... was excellent. Did I say that?
Great beer, good food cart selection, beautiful patio space. Take home some of the bottled limited release beer.
Great beer and outside area nice. El sancho taco food truck delicious.
Good visit. Food cart game is improving. Too many tourists.
Great atmosphere, quick & friendly service! Good beer & food selection.
They closed half of the bar at the busiest time of the night, causing me to stand in like for 30 minutes to simply close my tab.
What a place! There is a great selection of beer available and more being brewed in the room next to the bar. You can get the beer by flights, glass or growler and there is plenty of seating inside and outside. The food menu is great and family friendly so the kids aren’t snacking on your chips the whole time. The grilled cheese and watermelon salad were particularly great.
A necessary pilgrimage for any beer lover. The beer speaks for itself, it’s amazing- all of it- but don’t miss out on the “banished” beers as they’re a cut above and easily compete with the best beer in the world.A killer industrial tap room right in full view of the actual brewery. A lawn for outside consumption. It all boils down to you have to go.
Great brews with a large kid and dog friendly outdoor space. The on-site taco shack serves good grub if you get hungry in your drinking adventures.
Great beer, great beer garden, probably the #1 Dont Miss spot in Bend.
I like the set up and the food trucks outside, not a fan of counter service but it went well. Beers are good
Excellent beer and atmosphere. This was my favorite brewery in Bend.
I lived in Bend a little less than 30 years ago and the only micro brewery was Deschutes if I remember correctly. My husband and I stopped in here based on a recommendation by a couple of stellar sandwich makers over at Valentines. We were on a very tight schedule and had time to fill our growler at one location even though there are a plethora in the area now. I am so glad we ended up here. We had the friendliest service by the cutest tap guy that sang along with the Grateful Dead blasting from the sound system. He gave us time to decide which ale we wanted to drive back home with without side eye or impatience. Truly a gem behind the bar. We even stayed to share a pint outside beside a wood stoked fire even though the temp was 22°. There were families with kids playing in the large yard. It was like a neighborhood without houses. I loved it. BRAVO CRUX!
Food is good, service is great, beer and beer selection are fantastic. This was my first time here and the guy working the front counter welcomed me with open arms. I had never had any Crux beer before but he was able to point me in the right direction and I was extremely happy with the beer choice I made. I had the Krystal Juice IPA and I was very satisfied with it.
The best brewery in Bend! Try the pils but all the beer is excellent!
Great food and outdoor seating area is huge. There is also a taco cart in the outdoor area with a whole different menu to order from too. Very dog friendly.
If youre visiting Bend, or live here and somehow havent been, just go. From the award-winning beers to the amazing views, this is the place toy need to try.
Great hang out spot. Plenty of room for large groups. They have an awesome selection of beers and ciders on tap.
