Great locals bar - not just a fill station! This is one of our go-to spots to relax and have a beer on the south side of Bend. We go in regular. They keep a great variety of beers, kombucha, ciders, etc. so there is even something for the non-drinking set. Now that they have crowlers and some other takeout beverage options it is even more versatile than most would think. They allow dogs inside so if you are an animal lover or just a beer lover you should like this place. Give it a try!

My husband and I love the local atmosphere, the friendly service, great beers and the dog friendliness of Big Dog Growlers. Its really what Bend is all about. Beers, dogs and friends. Please only bring in calm friendly dogs. Stop in to fill growlers, watch the games on the big, big screen or just stop in for a beer with friends. Its truely a local Bend experience.

I love Big Dog. I love the owner Carolyn and the regulars. Its a great place to have a beer and chat and not be in a bar setting, but rather a community setting. Great selection! Its one of the last spots in Bend that is truly local.

You know Cheers? This is Cheers without the drama. Youre a regular if youve been here more than twice. Carolyn, the owner, is a rockstar; she is funny as hell, has a great memory for names and your usual beverage, and knows her beers. Two big screen TVs for sports, occasional nights of bingo or dice, Wii bowling, trivia... All of that plus stimulating conversation? Count me in. Highly recommend this place.

Very friendly service and patrons (expect friendly conversations with strangers and staff at the bar). Lots of great and unusual beers on tap for samples, pints and growler fills. Papa Murphys next door - so make pizza order and pop next door for a beer.

This is the fill shop where everybody knows your name. Always a great tap list, and Caroline is always asking for new and interesting beers to carry. You wont be disappointed.

I went in for a growler and asked for a couple samples, you know because its a growler fill station/bar. After two samples the lady behind the bar asked me why dont you just buy a pint! She was not friendly at all. You would think like 99% of other growler stations they would be use to people trying some samples before purchasing 64ozs of beer, but not here. And dont get me started on trying to use their bathroom. How places like this stay open I dont know.
