I was referred to come here and I will not go anywhere else ever again. Justin was so kind and I was very surprised they do a large variety of car services, not just brakes and mufflers. Justin was prompt, courteous, and an expert at what he does. There are very few honest and friendly mechanics out there, and we are grateful that he is one of the few. We were surprised that he fixed my muffler even after business hours. We were able to get our car within the hour! Unheard of.

Shop in Bellevue told me that my muffler, tailpipe, and intermediate pipe (and possibly catalytic converter if they could not get the flange off) needed to be replaced and it would cost $500-$900. Justin Craig (manager) was able to fix my exhaust by replacing the resonator/rear hanger and I was out the door for $125! Justin thank you for your integrity and you made a new customer!

Very pleased. Went in for an estimate, they told me exactly what the problem was, even said if I had an extra 30 minutes they could fix it there on the spot. Reasonable price and I could hardly hear the car when we left.

Kind in providing answer to my questions regarding the battery issue I had with my vehicle.

I was having issues with another establishment getting a quote for a problem I had. Justin was able to get me in and give me a quote for my problem at a reasonable price. I also had him look at a couple of other problems and he gave me quotes on that.

Justin answered my call on the first dial and recommended I come in so he could see what they were dealing with. I had parts so they only charged me labor. Putting back in a stock exhaust after the previous owner installed something terrible. I had removed the previous exhaust myself but Im fairly confident with the pace Justin worked at I could have let him do it and we still would not have hit an hour in labor for the whole repair/install. If they were trying to upsell me it would have been easy to at the least sell me some expensive exhaust clamps. This never happened! Justin installed the exhaust nearly how the factory would have. All hangers in place and properly attached. Im happy with the repair and looking at the way the shop responds to negative feedback Im confident that if I were ever to have an issue with their work, they would happily fix the problem

Justin and the team consistently perform great work at a fair price. If it isnt broke, they wont replace it and charge you anyways like some less scrupulous repair places. I recommend them to everyone I know for brake and exhaust work.

This place seemed like an upstanding place when i arrived. Tech seemed knowledgeable but overall impression of employees and the shop was not as overwhelming.. this owner is going to try to fill your heads with facts that are untrue. Im sure he will try to make what i say now in some way dis credible. I promise all of you looking for a shop to go to this is not the one for you. Facts of story. I took my truck in for an alignment and basic check. I called him prior to getting off work and he said it will be done by the time you are here. I showed up and it wasnt done. I was not impatient i didnt ask whats taking so long he offered up the exuse i dont k ow whats taking so long all the parts under there are new. I agreed.. btw all the parts under there where installed by me With the help of my dad who is a former tech for ford for 35 years. If we had had the ability to align our selves we would have. Anyway it finally gets done i said thanks and had no problems with service enjoyed dealing with them and was on my way. And then bam. I notice out of nowhere that my tire looks crooked.. after a closer inspection i notice that the bracket for chamber is destroyed and i instantly call them for a fix. Only to find out that according to him with all his wisdom my chamber bolt is installed wrong. I said then why did you not say something previous to doing the alignment. He replied that all of his mechanics are brand new and he dosent have the time to supervise everything. In my head im thinking why would you let someone who dosent know anything about aligning a vehicle align it and allow a customer to drive it. Then he proceeded to tell me that he has been doing this for 50 years and has never seen a chamber installed like this.. Then stated that well yes they can be installed like this but thats just not how he has ever installed it. So you seriously cant tell me it was wrong then say well its not but in my experience it is. That litterally makes no sence. After telling him the facts that it was right and after he had just decided to charge me 125 dollars to fix what he said was wrong he was unpleased espically because i said i wouldnt pay because he never checked with me prior to charging me for work which i had no idea was even being done. He then said he was zeroing out my account of what i owed and i was never to come back here again. He ruined my new parts did nothing right and got mad when i confronted him about it and asked him to fix. I promise you this is the worst place to take your vehicle for anything. If you cant do basic work correctly and all you have is new people with no experience doing work i dont care how many years of experience you yourself claim to have your shop dosent share that same experince nor dose the workmenship that comes out of it.

I had a 11:00 oil change appt. Justin got me right in and done in very short time. Very easy to deal with, and doesnt like to cut corners. If you need something done on your car, truck or SUV, and want it done right, take it to Justin.

Jeff and his crew always take care of my automotive needs. They are honest, friendly, knowledgeable and work in a timely manner. They wont take advantage of you like others will. They just did work on my vehicle for 1/3 of the price other mechanics were quoting me. I love this shop and highly recommend it to everyone!!

Service was good, timely and provided advice about why certain repair/expense wasnt needed, contrary to different repair shops slightly misleading push.

I cant say enough good things about Justin and House of Mufflers. I went to Tuffys for an estimate and was told I needed to spend $680 for a new muffler. I took my car to Justin and he said $80. I went back again right when they were closing and he got me in and fixed my car right up no problem. I recommend these guys highly for any auto repair you need!

Staff always seemed annoyed w the fact that I was utilizing their reward program for oil changes then used their coupons they offered at every oil change the last 2 ish years...... And now I will never go back there again and here’s why:I’ve noticed my gears sticking off and on last year ish (I bought the vehicle over 2 yrs ago so kinda figured that was the way it drove for a bigger vehicle as I always take my vehicle in as I’m suppose to for oil changes and fluid top off so why worry) but lately these last couple weeks the gears sticking got very noticeable so I immediately pulled over to avoid damaging my vehicle that I faithfully take care of... long story short... MY TRANSMISSION FLUID STICK WAS COMPLETELY DRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I immediately filled w transmission fluid and took it to a trusted full service shop where they found ZERO LEAKS!!!! I even always asked if my fluids and everything were fine after my oil changes and they said I was good to go!!!There better not be any further damage to my vehicle due to this company’s negligence.My response to owners response:LOW TRANSMISSION FLUID- obviously a vehicle needs transmission fluid to run, the fluid was low not even showing on the stick! I had to put 2 quarts in! You guys left my vehicles transmission fluid run on low causing it to have off and on gear sticks. It appears my car must of been low when I bought it over 2yrs ago for whatever reason then you guys never bothered to check it at each oil change these last 2 plus years as promised.My vehicle has been checked at another shop as stated and AGAIN ZERO LEAKS OR ISSUES. But thanks for listening and your reply!!!

Do not take your car here! When he does something wrong he wont admit it. Blames it on you! Says it was wrong before he did work on it! DO NOT GO HERE unless you have proof of how every single part is before you take it to him. He is that nightmare of taking your car to a mechanic who breaks something so you have to come back and pay more money to fix whatever it is they broke! And he is so rude when you confront him about it. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

Justin was amazing! I had a weird rattling noise in my engine for a long time and he spent so much time trying to figure out where the noise was coming from. He spent 2 days on my car. He was able to figure it out and found that my brake pads were loose. He replaced them and since they had been replaced by another House of Mufflers and Brakes location, he used the warrantee so I didnt have to pay. He has also replaced items that I didnt realize were wrong after coming in for routine maintenance. Him and his crew look for items that I may not be thinking about but always makes sure my car is running smoothly.

Wounderful customer service and lower prices than any other place that I have been.

The auto dealership told me I needed a whole new fuel line and that it would cost $1000+. Took it here and Justin showed me exactly where the problem was (corroded gasket & surround). He cut the worn part off and welded on a new part in about two hours for $100. He was very helpful and respectful. I appreciated that he took the time to show me the problem. Will definitely go here again.

My sister brought her SUV in recently for brake problems. The guy didn’t do a check what so ever. Just slapped new pads on and sent her on her way. She started having trouble again she went back to say she was still having problems and to have it checked out again, he argued with her and told her nothing was wrong. My parents were with her and they asked if there was a manager around to which he responded “go to the maple store and talk to him.” He wouldn’t give them a phone number and she couldn’t have driven to Maple to speak with a manager because you know, her breaks were messed up after he didn’t do his job the first time. She ended up getting a second opinion somewhere else and it turned out to be a problem with her brake line. Great employees you have there. Way to take advantage of a 19 year old kid.

The building is kind of run down and old, but dont let that fool you. Aaron is super nice, takes his time explaining everything and doesnt have a problem when they are busy going out in the shop getting his hands dirty to keep the ball rolling! I did not feel like I was heard. As a woman, this infuriated me. Frank was quick to tell me that my car was just old and what I was asking to be fixed would not make a difference. My father had to go to the shop to explain and show where the leak was before anything was welded. Was given a fair price. I wont go back.

Dont waste your time, they are rude and very arrogant. The gentlemen I worked with treated me like I knew nothing about cars. the only reason I gave them the chance for my business is because I didnt have the tools to do it myself. The guy also refereed to me as young man like he knew what was best for me, I have been working with cars for over 2 decades now so I felt really disrespected. For that they will not be receiving business from me or any of my military and base contracting friends. Just a suggestion follow the golden rule and dont assume you always know more than the next guy or gal. Treat people with respect!

Had my muffler and catalitic converter welded on there because my truck didnt have one when I bought it about 6 months later driving down the road the muffler fell off because the welds broke off. What a waste of money

Jason and staff were able to replace the muffler and a broken transmission bracket for less than what he originally quoted. Very pleased with the same day service!

Best experience with an auto shop ever. Very honest and fixed my exhaust system far below any other quotes I received. They even knew that I expected to pay a lot and that didn’t matter, they still fixed it way below what I expected. They also got it done in 3 hours. Will never go anywhere else again. Finally found a place I can trust to do a great job at a honest price.
