From the very first contact, they were helpful, responsive and, generally, made a usually VERY stressful situation into a positive one. The moving team was respectful, pleasant, hardworking and got the job done much faster than anticipated. And, dont get me started on how much more reasonable the price was!! Overall, it was a slam dunk from beginning to end.

We hired to unload pods at the end of an international trip (Ontario Canada to Portland Oregon). 3 guys finished 2 x 16 ft pods in about 2 hours in Portland in a two story house. They took care with furniture, no dinged walls or doors, very friendly crew.... and my back feels great 😀. We have another move coming up cross-town in Portland. Well definitely use them for the entire move this time.

This company is awesome! Third time Ive used this company. Twice in-city and the latest for an out-of-state move. The CS Rep from Portland Joshua was able to answer all my questions and got a timely quote out to me the same day and was quick to respond when my destination changed. They charged a flat fee which made things simple and had a quick load, move, unload timeline in a matter of days from OR to UT instead of the weeks other container type moving solutions use. For me the quick turn around was preferred since being disabled Id need access to the things that make my day to day life easier. The team on the ground was excellent as always. Adrian and his crew in Portland(Ben and Jesus) were professional, efficient, and friendly. They took care to prep the entryway to prevent damage from moving items out of my 2 bedroom apartment and garage and quickly loaded up the moving truck. I met Adrian and Seth a couple days later at my home in UT where they unloaded just as quick and efficiently. They took the same amount of care to protect my home and my belongings. Highly recommended moving company. Competitively priced and worth the premium for convenience and peace of mind my possessions were in good hands. You get what you pay for and Two Men and a Truck are worth every penny!

We scheduled our moving date a month prior and then we had to reschedule it again just the next day. We also received a confirmation email for the new date. After a month, when everything was packed, they didnt show up on the moving date because even though we received a rescheduling confirmation a month ago, they didnt update the new date on their system. That was very frustrating. I had to reschedule everything at the last minute, from house cleaning to carpet cleaning, requesting extension on tenancy contract, calling every utility company from water to electricity for extension. We had to pay extra rent for 3 more days. That was one of the most stressful days in my life. They offered us 2 hours free service but that barely covered the extra rent payment. They also sent a fourth guy who disappeared in an hour. One of the three movers was extremely slow. Plus they didnt do anything for a damaged item. We had to paint the whole furniture because the paint we applied didnt match.

This is the second time Ive used Two Men and a Truck, and for a second time, I was extremely well pleased. I dont know how either time could have been smoother. From start to finish, the team was professional, safe and quick, and willing to help in any way possible. The men were responsive to our directions and made sure we were happy in every way with their services. We were, both times we used them. They are the best.

I am extremely disappointed as I had used this company back in 2017 to move and had a pretty good experience. This time was absolutely horrible. I submitted a quote online. I then received an email stating they needed more info. After multiple phones calls with no answer I decided to reply to the email. After emailing back and forth with Leah and Joshua we received our quote. But it was for my move back in 2017. After explaining that that was the incorrect quote Joshua sent me the correct quote. After my boyfriend called to give his cc info and made it clear not to use the quote from 2017. Well on moving day the movers showed up with a tiny truck and the quote from 2017. They literally showed up to move a patio table and a couch. As you can see in my quote below that THEY sent me, I was moving a 3 bedroom house. They then proceeded to try to charge us more money than what we were quoted and didn’t even end up moving our stuff. I have called several times and sent several emails requesting a manager call me. I bet you can guess what happens next…. Nothing. I have not heard from a single person from this company. We ended up having to rent a uhaul and move ourselves. I will never use this company again.

Booked two weeks out. Girlfriend used them before when I called and gave the my card. They had her address she moved to. I explained no its a three bedroom house and updated the address.The show up in a trick to move 10 items. Then tell me the 300. 00 quote didnt cover a three bedroom house and it would cost more. The scheduler mistake I have to pay for it. Better not charge me a cancelation fee.

These guys were amazing! I am impressed from the first call with the office! The organization and professionalism was impressive. The guys that did our move day of were amazing...it just happened to be the weekend with over 100 degree weather! They worked just as hard and safe to get our move done!

Our friend scheduled these guys to move her and she specifically asked for 3 movers and a large truck. They showed up an hour and a half after their schedule window with only two movers and a small box truck. When she showed the quote, they told her they would have to charge her double. She tried calling all day to get this resolved and nobody would answer the phone. Several of us had to drive an hour at the last minute to help get her moved. Would not feccomend this company...EVER

Let me say that we had a great experience! The guys were on time and worked steadily and quickly! While this was by no means one of our biggest moves it was a 3 story apartment tp pack down from and then on the other end we had another 3 story to pack up to. So it was some work for sure! We made it all happen and really appreciated them. We will use them again and I will refer them to anyone who need help with a local move!

These guys did a phenomenal job moving my partner and I. They had the whole move done in just a couple of hours yet were so careful with every item (I am the worlds worst packer of fragiles... glass on glass on glass). They triple wrapped all furniture, protected all door frames, and secured everything very nicely in the truck. They had a ton of extra equipment and moving blankets to make sure everything was covered 110%. Getting the move setup was a breeze and customer service was great.I recommend asking for Chauncey and Logan, they were the dream team!! Organized, careful, fast, and great at communicating making sure we were satisfied the whole time! Thanks for taking all the stress off of having to move!

Overall a good experience with a minor speed bump.The quote process was very smooth with fair, upfront pricing. Joshua in the office was amazing to work with and the main reason for my positive review. He was professional every step of the moving process from the initial quote, answering questions a few days before my move, as well as helping resolve the issue during my move.My crew was was two men with one truck for my two bedroom apartment move. My initial thought was the move would take around 3.5 hours given my previous move with the same inventory of items. However, this move took 6.5 hours and wasnt completely finished. I had the movers put the boxes on the main level of my new house because I didnt want to keep paying for additional time. There were many items I would have preferred if they carried up or down the stairs, but time didnt allow. The crew didnt move at the same pace as some of the previous moving companies Ive used in the past. However, they were courteous, careful with my items, and asked questions when necessary.Upset with the amount of time it took to complete my move, I called Joshua to raise my concern. He handled it professionally and we came to a reasonable compromise. My initial quote was for the move to take between 3-5.5 hours, so we agreed I would only pay for 5.5 hours worth of move time. Joshua initiated the refund to my credit card the same day for the extra hour worth of time I paid for.I would use Two Men and a Truck again based upon how professional their customer service was, mainly Joshua in the office.

I have used this moving company twice now and both times they have been absolutely fantastic. In both cases they arrived promptly at our appointment time. While they worked quickly they also worked carefully making sure that everything was properly packed and secured. They made sure to check in with me if they had any questions about some of my more delicate pieces of furniture and had overall great communication in letting me know how they were going to be packing up and transferring my things.I had a very delicate curio cabinet and an incredibly heavy solid wood desk that I was worried about, but they managed to get both without too much struggle or damaging anything.In both instances the men that came to do the moving were very friendly and pleasant to talk to. They helped take some of the stress out of the moving process.Upon unloading everything in the new place nothing was damaged and they even helped me move a few pieces of furniture around once I realized they werent going to work in the areas I wanted them. They were really awesome in taking the extra time to make sure I wouldnt have to shift the furniture around too far if I didnt like where I had them initially placed.Finally theyre very reasonably priced, especially for the high quality of service. I wont need to shop around in the future Ill just go to them next time I need my stuff moved.

Very disappointed. It cost me $1100 to move furniture to pack into a pod. One guy stood and talked most of the time while only one guy moved the stuff. They didnt pack half the furniture said it is not going to fit. Left 1/4 of the container empty. I had hire another person to unpack and repack the container. Will not hire them again.

Great communication with office manager! Great movers. This is our third (and hopefully final) move this year and this company has their customer service down to a T.We had so many wrong things happen with other parts of our move that I asked Joshua, if he would co-ordinate the rest of our services and deliveries. Really. Wouldnt it be nice to have a company you call who handles all aspects of a move? Wouldnt it?

I loved Mike and Javier. They were both happy and helpful, and so communicative. Even though we went from a third floor apartment to a third floor apartment they were not phased. They acted like our move was not super difficult, even though i am sure the stairs were a killer. We tried to apologize for the third floors but they were gracious and too kind and told us it was not a problem. I hope you pay these guys well, but whatever it is they deserve a raise!

I had an appointment for 12pm and at 12:15 I received a call from the movers that they were going to be 45 minutes late and that they had known they would have been late since 11am. It would have been ok if I was called at 11am and being informed that they were running late but they didnt. The office or the movers should of called at that time instead I sat for an hour at my storage unit waiting till the arrived.

Lauren in the office did a great job of explaining the fees and process, and kept in touch along the way. Our two movers worked quickly but safely to finish our move in a timely manner with no damage. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the entire process. The amount of good nature and respect, work ethic and character of these two men is over the top. This was our second time using our local team. we knew it was a lot so we hired 2 teams to help. These guys worked so hard for the whole day. I was amazed. They cared about our belongings as if they were there own. They stayed until the move was complete. I truly appreciate all the hard work and time lugging our stuff up a flight of stairs. They were late, tracked A LOT of mud all over my new carpet and told me its $60 to put down blankets to keep the carpet clean. They took a long break and got lost and charged me for that time. After 4 hours, they still hadnt finished moving a studio apartment worth of stuff. I had to tell them at that point to get my things off the truck and leave. I didnt have anymore budget for them. Total ripoff! Going to All of My Sons next time.

I used to work for a moving company so I know how the rates can change and there will always be additional charges. With this company, there were none. They gave me a quote per hour to and from their location, and that is exactly what I got. They were super nice and had great communication. If you have any doubts using them, dont.

Both the office staff and my moving team were incredibly helpful in helping me with last minute changes to the moving plan. Our place was a mess and not nearly as ready to move as I had hoped and I had to request help with packing and supplies DAY OF move because of problems that came up over the weekend that prevented us from getting ready. The office sent over packing supplies and the moving team did a fantastic job getting our stuff packed up and moved. Their efficiency and ability to create am orderly plan of attack to get everything done quickly was really impressive. Our move from a large 2 story 4 bedroom home to a single level 3 bedroom home was already stressful due to the amount of space we were going to be losing in our new home. The packing also made it even more stressful so having someone else to actually do the heavy lifting was so nice for once. This is the first time we used a moving company, and I would do it again with Two Men and a Truck. Primus and Bryan were very nice and efficient with the move. We somehow lost the pegs to one of our bookshelves in the move, but the operations manager Dane was able to get into contact pretty quickly after I reached out to see if they were lost in the truck, which they were. Once thing I would like to see with any moving company is a way to get into contact with office personell or someone you can talk to in case there is an issue over the weekend. I was thankfully able to get a hold of someone over their messenger on facebook which was helpful. I would highly recommend them to anyone I know for a move who is on a budget.

Great service all around - from initial appointment, working out details before and on the day of the move. I only had 15 boxes, 5 suitcases and a bit of furniture but everything was handled quickly and carefully.

Two Men and a Truck were able to come out with a short lead time and helped out a ton with a local in-town move. I can highly recommend them.

Communications leading up to and during the move was excellent. Kelly and Michael were on time and outstanding, handling everything with a can-do attitude, and a genuine desire to make my move as painless for me as possible. They even finished the job more quickly than originally estimated! No foot-dragging or time-padding here. I would call on Two Men and A Truck to help with a move again, without hesitation.

Movers did a wonderful job and moved everything with the utmost care! The only reason why I have rated them with 3 stars is due to the fact that they charge for insurance and never disclosed that until they got to my house and I had to move that day. Beware of all the fine print. Nothing was wrong with the employees work because the two guys were super nice and friendly. I wouldnt use them again though due to not disclosing insurance is included in the cost of the move like every other company.

Slow service, expensive, damaged property during move which I now have to pay to the apartment. It has been a huge inconvenience. I was quoted $450 and ended up paying $750. $150 of which was for them to drive 6 miles each way. Ridiculous. When the drivers arrived, they appeared to be stoned.

We had 4 guys for 12 hours and a tough move and these guys did an amazing job. Very professional and very friendly, the day was long but they stayed until it was complete. We had to change our move dates several times due to things out of our control but never a problem and allways very accomodating. I highly reccomend this crew!

These guys are awesome, they make moving worry free. Very polite movers, I would serious use these guys again and again.

I would strongly advise NOT to use this company for your moving needs. My husband and I used them the week after our wedding to move into our first home. Unfortunately, during the transportation, our TV had extensive damage. I was frustrated as one of the movers was on the phone texting during the move, so I assume it was not properly packed. In speaking with Joe, the operations manager, he said they would take our TV and determine if it can be repaired or not. I then received an email saying that the TV is valued per pound as per our paperwork, and a TV that was well over $1,000 would only be valued at $18. Joe did offer to reimburse us $250 to buy a new TV. I asked him to reconsider, as it was less than 25% of what the TV cost, however, I have received NO response in the last 6 weeks. My phone calls have not been returned, and we never received the $250 reimbursement. Im shocked that their slogan movers who care as this could not be further than the truth. The movers were careless; they damaged the most expensive item in our house, never reimbursed us and now will not return my calls or emails.

I’ve never been one to use a moving company. But I had just had surgery and was recovering so in this situation, I had no choice. If I could give less than one star I would. The movers were rude and at the very best unfriendly. They also managed to rip a hole in our brand new $5,000 mattress. We even had a protector on it, but that mysteriously vanished somewhere between point A and B. We have tried to reach out MULTIPLE times to claim the insurance for the damage, and they refuse to respond to us now. BEWARE! Use a moving company who actually cares about their job and your things.If anyone from Two Men and a Truck care enough to read this, understand this is my last attempt to get your attention before I move on to legal options.
