Once I knew Dr. Boudreaux had his own practice, especially appearing to have a quaint atmosphere, I immediately booked my kids eye appointments there. They appreciated the promptness in being seen & the ambiance of the space. I too appreciated that & the ease of scheduling the appt online with a prompt return call...in addition to his continued thorough exams, that our kids, being brought up in this digital world needs. Front office was great too! Offered a drink & assisted us in finding the right frames. Was all that I expected & more.

My wife and I are long time clients. A great experience. The equipment is High Tech --- providing the most accurate readings while offering maximum comfort for patients. We all know how uncomfortable the old fashioned dilatation drops were, but here, theyre eliminated. Dr Bs machines offer better precision which translates to more exact prescriptions.

My experience here has been up and down. I’ve worked in the healthcare field for years. I reached out to schedule my appointment via text. I was told my Dr B that Steven would reach out with my insurance information. A day goes by and nothing so I needed up calling. From the get go Steven sounded like he hated his job. Never any happiness or anything in his voice or facial expressions when I did happen to see him. I was already not happy but went ahead and went. The appointment was great! I loved the MD. Now it came time toOrder my contacts. I had a funeral and it slipped my mind and Steven kept calling. Well I called today and he was the same ole Steven sounding like he is f want to talk to me. So I said something. WOW Steven is the rudest And most unpleasant person I’ve encounter in long time. Then he charges my card and hangs up on me. My husband had to call and he lied to him as well. I will not refer any one or return as long as Steven is there.

Clean, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable. Exam was thorough but quick. Frame/lens selection was easy and they provided clear prices with and without insurance, which was super helpful in making a decision. Very pleased with my experience and would definitely recommend to anyone!

Dr. Boudreaux and Stephen/Steven are absolutely wonderful. They are great with patients of all ages. My twelve year old son has been using the Ortho-K lenses for about eight months, and I encourage every parent of a child/children in need of glasses to give it a try. My son is able to be an active, sport loving child without glasses or contacts getting in the way of his fun.

The customer service, experience, and style sense given by Dr. Boudreaux and Steven was awesome! Both are extremely thorough and polite. Do yourself a favor and give them a visit.

Dr. Boudreaux and Steven were great. They were friendly, patient, thorough, and genuinely cared about making sure I had everything I needed. They answered all of my questions and were experts on vision and eyewear. My only complaint was the website. It doesn’t function very well on mobile devices or PC. But my experience was flawless as soon as I walked through the door Would highly recommend to anyone in the Highland/Baton Rouge area who needs an exam, new glasses (or sunglasses), and contacts!

Now he is on his own and the experience is so nice, not so crowded and very personal, never rushed. He has a beautiful new clinic. Stephen is the optician and he has picked out a beautiful pair of glass frames, and has prepared my lenses to perfection. Everyone always compliments me on them!!!!

We were greeted immediately upon walking in and Dr. Boudreaux saw us almost immediately after check in. He and his staff were kind, courteous and very friendly. He did a wonderful job at making my very shy and anxious 12 year old feel right at ease. He has the most up to date technology and was very thorough in his exam and while explaining the results. He took the time to answer every question asked and we never felt rushed. Also, they did not carry eyewear that fit my daughter as she’s in an in between stage and were quick to recommend me somewhere else instead of allowing me to settle on the wrong fit.

What a wonderful experience at Focal Point Eye Care on Highland Rd Baton Rouge LA. Dr. Corey Boudreaux was wonderful in explaining all that was going on with my boyfriends eyes and was very honest.We appreciated that he did not recommend services or glasses to us, just to get us to spend money.When we came into the office we were welcomed by Bridgett. She was super awesome!!! The whole team at the office was very welcoming and kind during our visit! It was nice to see such wonderful service, they had candy, offered water, and comfy chairs to provide. Also, we appreciated that they were on time and were mindful of our time. Loved this place. Friendly staff. Got in and out with no long wait. Their machines are top of the line since they just opened. One of the eye tests they did was really cool and Dr. Boudreaux explained it perfectly to me.

I picked Focal Point Eye Care because it was close to my office. I’m extremely happy I did. I booked my appointment online. Very easy! I was the first appointment of the day. I arrived early and sat in my car waiting for them to open. I witnessed Dr Boudreaux himself open up the office, set-up chairs and a sign outside, even cleaned the window ledge behind the outside seating area. I was impressed how he paid attention to details and did these task himself. Once I entered the office I was immediately greeted by Dr Boudreaux letting me know the front desk guy will be right with me to check in. As a new patient this process was quick and super easy. Once all checked in Dr Boudreaux came get me from the waiting room and proceeded to do all the initial test with some fancy machines. At other offices I’ve been to these are done by a tech who then brings you to the exam room to wait for the doctor. After the initial test Dr Boudreaux brought me to the exam room and completed my contact and glasses exam. He was very thorough and explained all results of all the test. I highly recommend Dr Boudreaux for anyone looking for a professional personal no wait complete eye exam. I have found my forever eye doctor. No more busy multi-physician practice or in-store optical shops for me.

Very thorough exam, was patient in explaining all about the exam and findings. Got a great pair of glasses too! Had my 1 year follow up and he prescribed a promising treatment for my chronic dry eye. My daughter had a very thorough exam. Dr Boudreaux didn’t recommend glasses because her Rx would be so weak he suggested it wasn’t with shelling out the $ right now. Great guy! Steven in his office is great too!

Thoroughly impressed by my first experience with Dr Boudreaux and Steven. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, every aspect was welcoming, professional, and miles above every other eye clinic I’ve visited over the years. The technology used is truly top notch and I really believe that Dr Boudreaux’s focus is my overall eye health and comfort and not just what eyewear he can sell me. With that said, if there was a negative point, it would be that the frames selection/variety is a smidge thin, but certainly not enough to reduce my 5 star rating of this fantastic practice. And ultimately the superior lenses offered are far more important than the fashion choices. I look forward to being a long time patient here.
