Shenandoah Eye Clinic has been my Eye Clinic for years. The staff there are so helpful and the Dr.s are super informative and nice, Even when they have to deliver bad news like needing bifocals in about 4 years! I would recommend this eye clinic to anyone looking for professionalism, friendly, fast service. Youre glasses get back to you in about a week and a half!

New patient here! I absolutely loved this place. By far the most caring and friendliest staff Ive had at an eye clinic! Everyone working there did such a great job at making me feel comfortable and making sure I was well taken care of. The Doctor and her assistant were extremely helpful and actually cared about making sure I got the right perscription for my new contacts. And Kaley was so sweet to fix my glasses that I just brought in that were crocked lol. Super glad my boyfriend found this gem and we both loved it!! 😁

I have tried three times to schedule an eye exam by phone - once I left a message and twice I called and was immediately put on hold with no follow up by anyone. Id love to experience quality eye care, but making an appointment doesnt seem to be possible!

They gave me new contacts that irritated my eyes badly. I went back the next morning to get it seen about, thinking they’d give me a different brand, but instead got told I’d have to be charged again if I wanted to see the doctor for eye irritation.But my eyes are irritated because of something THEY gave me.Will not be going back.

We are new to the area and I hate finding new doctors but I had such a good experience I told my hubby and he immediately made an appointment for his glasses and contacts. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Great visit! I got a scratch on my eye and they saw me immediately. Very quick and very professional. They gave me a temporary contact, a prescription for eye drops and I was back at work in about 30 minutes.

Shenandoah is an amazing eye clinic, very pleasant experience with Dr. Adams, and Khristan made me feel very comfortable about the whole exam. All of the staff are very professional, but extremely friendly and helpful.

I didnt feel comfortable there at all and they dont explain anything will not return thats all I can say. ....

The eye doctor here is the best but the people working the front desk are far from professional. Unfortunately this is the only place that takes my sons insurance so we have to go. But they have always seem to sneak in charges and over charge on services.My suggestion is to have your eyes examined here and get your glasses elsewhere.

Ive been going to these guys along with my whole family for over ten years. Ive never had a bad experience there. I just made another appointment with them today. I will continue going to them and highly recommend them.

Dr. Connorton was excellent! The staff however, with the exception of one tech, was horrible. They werent friendly, didnt explain anything, didnt help me choose frames. It honestly felt like theyd never had a non-white patient and I will never go back!

I have been going to this clinic since I was 8 years old... so for 18 years!!I have been pleased for the most part, however, they were rude and told me I did not have an appointment today.I specifically made an appointment for today which I took off work for and I confirmed the date and day.I believe in supporting small businesses and even though I have moved across town and work in Plaquemine I wanted to stay with Dr. Aderhold since he was so great.Now, without him I will not be back, because of the service and due to the fact no one made me aware that he was retiring.I am very disappointed since I have been a client for so long. They were rude to see that I was upset because of the situation and were not sympathetic or seemed to care for THEIR MISTAKE. I will not be returning.

I was worked in, as a new patient, on a Friday afternoon with an eye emergency (to me, having never experienced such, before). The staff was very helpful in getting me registered, insurance checked, appt. made, and more. Dr. Connorton patiently heard my concerns and performed a comprehensive exam of the eye. Since my previous optometry clinic (with loads of optometrists) felt it was easier to blame me for not scheduling my emergency to occur before 11:45 a.m. on a Friday, and had no option for me but to wait for an appointment during the following week, I will be moving my care to Dr. Connorton.

After not returning for 2+ years the staff informed me my dr had left and a new gentleman had taken over. I, just wanting to replace my lost glasses, didnt care and got scheduled. I found this visit just as pleasant as any other, the dr was nice and we joked and chatted and discussed recent travels while he thoroughly checked my eyes. He mentioned I could get bifocals now but dont need them quite yet, and just come on back when I notice I cant read at a certain distance - I felt informed and forewarned but it was up to me what to do with the information.When it came time to get my new glasses selected the staff told me what my insurance covered and helped me find frames that best fit my face, and did not just lead me to the most expensive as I am always suspicious someone might be tempted to do. I found a great pair of glasses almost fully covered by insurance, and they explained all my options (anti-glare, transitions, lens types) quite well.My husband was with me since we knew I likely needed my eyes dialated, and he now has his own appointment because of the continued good experience I had.

Poor customer service.
