This place has such a wonderfully calm atmosphere, perfect for working, studying, and reading. Their freshly brewed coffee is very rich yet has a smooth taste to it. It is also reasonable priced unlike many other local coffee shops I have been to. The gentleman who served me was very friendly and polite. I am most definitely coming back here!

Very good coffee. Roasted in house and freshly ground. The Brevé I ordered was a work of art and it was so delicious, I added no sweetener, simple syrup or sugar.Atmosphere is very light and airy, White walls, light wood, wicker furniture, lots of plants. Very inviting!

Ordered some coffee beans online from Cedar House, and they are some of the best beans weve had yet. The Ethiopian Acacia makes a mean Americano! As business owners, they also care a lot about their community and their environmental impact. Zero-emission roasting, building partnerships with farmers, whats not to love? 👏

Cedar House roasting is hands-down the best coffee shop in Baton Rouge, and really most other places I’ve ever been across the states. The environment is a great place to work, and the staff are very friendly. They also do their own roasting - which is eco-friendly, meaning no waste at all. My wife and I recently subscribed to the coffee subscription, and we love it! The coffee is actually the only one that’s working with our everyday pour over and V60 brewing. If you’re in the area and you’re looking for great coffee this YOUR spot!

Delicious coffee! We heard about Cedar House from a friend on Facebook, so my wife and I came to visit!P.S. It may look closed on an overcast day because their windows are tinted and it looks dark inside. If its during their hours then they are open!
