Looked like it was a family owned restaurant. This restaurant was way out of where we usually go. It was in a very secluded location. It has a lounge area, pool area, patio and regular seating area. The in decor was very outdated but we went there after hearing very good opinions about the food. We are very glad we went there. We ordered 2 meats which each came with 2 sides. We got a chicken leg quarter which was quite juicy and well seasones. The Rib tips were amazingly seasoned but the meat was a little tough than i would enjoyed it to be. Coming to the side dishes, they were really good. We gotMac and cheese - very silky and very cheeseyJambalaya - this side was charged extra but was worth it. Amazing taste.Red beans and rice - very homely tastedBaked beans - had that nice sweet barbecue sauce taste.Ordered Chicken/sausage gumbo - the best dish i ate there. The heat and flavor in this gumbo was totally next level.

I went in for my 1st time tonight, I was greeted by some amazing workers that take alot of pride in their jobs!! Now for the best part the food is absolutely delicious, some of the best smoked meat. Highly recommend people stopping and check them out!!

If youre looking for slowwwww smoked meat this is the place to go. Dont go there expecting fancy, but look forward to enjoying a relaxed we all family here experience. Came in from Georgia and ate there twice on my weekend visit. Was able to catch Ribeye Friday. Then came back on Saturday for the brisket. DELISH!!

My daughter wanted ribs and I did a nearby barbecue search on my phone... Thank you Google. This was some of the best barbecue I’ve ever had. It is definitely smokey! The sauces are a perfect compliment to the hickory smoked goodness. I was raving to my family about the beef ribs until I tasted the amazing St. Louis style pork ribs. I tried a sample of the pulled pork as well and I will be back for more. I was getting it takeout, and the service was excellent. When we start dining out again I can’t wait to eat in and shoot some pool. Don’t let industrial location scare you away. It’s worth traveling to. Thanks JB!

We went today for take out and had the beef rib, brisket and sides. The sides and sauces were excellent but the meats were incredible. Real smoke rings on the brisket and delicious bark on both. This was the first time we have had beef barbecue of this quality outside of Texas. Strongly recommend that you consider supporting this locally owned business.

I got the chicken breast for my tacos, they were the best I ever had,all ingredients were home grown,loved it.

My only complaint is that I didnt find this place sooner. What a hidden gem in this part of town! The smoked brisket was possibly the best Ive had. The sides tasted fresh and delicious. The atmosphere of this place felt relaxed and friendly, yet clean and following all health guidelines. Please dont change -- I will be back many times!

Well this was disappointing. The brisket was cold and so was the pulled pork. The portions were skimpy for 19 dollars. The meat had a good flavor so I had to at least give it 2 stars. Id skip the trip here. Id have rather went to a chain bbq plate.

I called in and spoke with staff there first, Mr. JB. He let me know about the things on the menu as well as what they can do to ensure the customer was happy. Once I got there, the place was very clean, roomy, very chill type place. I was greeted immediately and served. I had gotten food to go. Once I got to my destination, I must say the food was on point👌 I had chicken, jambalaya, and salad. All good, all seasoned. This the real deal! Stop in at their location on Dallas Drive. Me and my husband went in there and they were out of brisket and potato salad so I had to settle for the baby back ribs and baked beans mind u my total was 15.40 the beans tasted like pork and beans I took one bite and there in the trash the meat wasn’t bad but fa 15.00 I expect more than three bones like cmon have to do better and what’s bbq without Mac and cheese
