My mother purchased a 2019 mini coop in 2018 from Brian Harris Baton Rouge on Airline Hwy. Her purchase was special order, with all extended warranties. The service she has received from Brian Harris since her purchase deserves no stars. Without any warning, without written on verbal correspondence they stopped servicing Mini coops. My mother is nearly 70 and is now being told that she would have to travel nearly 200 miles to Pensacola Florida to have her MiniCoop serviced. Had she known before purchasing, or even been made aware once this transition was final, it wouldve at-least softened the blow or allowed her to make an informed decision. They wont even try to reach out to her to make things right or offer any services knowing that she purchased from them. We are totally disappointed. Our concerns have been communicated to management, but it went no where. We will never purchase or recommend anyone purchase any vehicle from Brian Harris of Baton Rouge. The experience and the lack of concern has caused us to mark them completely untrustworthy.

A disappointed experience!!!I had my Mini Cooper s fixed two weeks ago and the service people didn’t put a piece of component back in my vehicle!! (See the pics below)I did not realize until I had my car washed since that piece was under the passenger side. I immediately called them but was told that the service people have already left! The salesperson who answered my phone call took the notes and promised me to make service department call me back ASAP. However, no one even called me back the next day and I had to call again.First of all, I felt disappointed to what the service department did since they shouldn’t be that unprofessional. Actually this was not the first time I heard about that, my friend had his BMW X5 fixed there before and they even didn’t assemble his backseats correctly!! Additionally, they should have followed up and called me back about that issue but they didn’t and even no apology!!

I had a superb experience with the service department here. Thomas and Brennan were both very personable and went out of their way to accommodate my schedule and needs. My minor car issues were fixed in a very timely manner and I received great communication throughout the process. Highly recommend!

I brought my bmw 328i in for a check. The computer in the car told me low beam headlight was bad. I get there they claim it was mybattery . I said my battery is fine . Well they claim they just had a machine that could tell whats wrong. They ended up changing me 500$ left my radiator cap off so my fluids would drain out . I called them on it they accused me of lying and now I have more issues with this car sence they so call fixed it and I still need a low beam light . Dont waste your money. Af

Do not waste your time for servicing your mini here. I live far and have to drive quite a distance for service (due to warranty). I brought it and dropped it and left it for an entire week. They found the error codes that I told them about but they must not have been listening the 3 times I explained what happened. They drove it to try to get it to recreate but again, it was on start up and not at cruising so driving it around did nothing but waste gas. After finding the codes they explained that there was no repair for the error I had and so they put a ticket in. Are you kidding me? I googled the codes and found 8 items they could have tried to repair and many other owners who reported the problem and the fix that eventually worked. This shop refused to try even one thing to repair this problem. Their explanation was that they couldnt start repair if mini didnt tell them what to do. So that tells me they are completely incompetent and not trained in car repair. If you got this far thanks for reading. Seriously, dont waste your time. Now Ill have to drive to Pensacola mini where Ive already spoken with them and shes given me a list of things they will try based on the error codes that popped. I wish I could give no stars.

On Dec. 22 2016, I dropped my car off to have the power steering pump replaced. I was going out of town until Jan. 2. I asked to have an update so I could make sure I knew what was going on with the repair. I called every day. No one ever returned my calls. As it turns out, the gentleman who checked me in was on vacation as well. And with the holidays, I did not expect the car to be ready when I got back. In fact I told him that I returned to work on Jan. 4 and that I would get a rental if I needed to while work was finished. However, when I returned, I continued my daily calls and never spoke to anyone. Finally, I went to the dealership. The response to me coming in was Is your car still here?. As I waited for them to find my paperwork, another gentleman came into the office and went through a drawer asking Is this your key? Is this your key? as he held up one after another. It turns out that the car hadnt been diagnosed yet. This is 12 days after I dropped it off. (Keeping in mind this was over the holidays so lets call it a week with weekends, Christmas, and New Year.) The next day I called again and was told to stay by the phone 5 or 10 minutes while he went to service to give me any info on the car. 5 hours later, no one called. I called and asked for the service manager who left me on hold for 30:14 before I hung up. The next day, as a co-worker was driving me home, I got a text saying that the work was almost finished--that the battery and alternator were fine. I immediately called back and stated that those were not the reason the car was there! At this point, I had to go over heads. A friend stopped at the dealership and cornered the finance manager who patiently listened to the events I am detailing here on the phone with me. The next day, I was contacted with the estimate and probable timeline. This was Jan. 6. I was offered compensation with a percentage off and a free diagnostic. This is very kind, though I dont want anything free. I want (need) my car fixed. I am paying for uber to take me to work. Everyone involved was and continues to be pleasant, especially the finance manager who is the only reason I did not come get the car and have it fixed elsewhere. But the absolute lack of organization and dismissal of my repair and my time for 20 plus days has me very frustrated and frankly worried. Still in limbo is the extended warranty protection. No one has asked me about it, though I stated I had a warranty when I checked the car in, nor has anyone picked up the phone or returned my text about it. It is currently Saturday so the warranty plan administrator is closed. I feel like Im about to get billed for repairs the warranty covers explicitly. This maybe premature. They may have already filed the claim, but I cannot get an answer. They are trying to make this right the best way they seem able but I am without faith at this point. I am in love with the Mini brand. But I cannot recommend this service center for your car.

I have a mini countryman that has been in service for a month (4 Weeks). This is not for major repair. It was a resister in the ac unity The service at Brian Harris Mini in Baton Rouge is simply the worst customer service I have ever received. I have had the car for two years and every time it is in the shop it is at least a couple weeks. There is no communication, they simply dont care.I am actually selling my car and will never get a mini because of this experience. I purchased a service agreement that I will never use. The more I write the more angry I become, so i am going to quite now. Somebody should do something with this company. They are giving mini a bad name. They have been through multiple service people. I have spoke to the service manager and he has been there for 2 years and admits that it hasnt gotten any better.

I SPECIFICALLY told them on the phone more then once NOT to change the oil that I would do it myself but they went and changed it anyways charging me almost 100$ when I was supposed to leave without paying a cent. WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN BECUASE THEY CANT SEEM TO LISTEN CORRECTLY.

I wish I could rate this place lower than 1 star. Now that they’ve folded, there is no place to get service for Mini in Louisiana. To boot, no place will honor their warranty work and I have to drive 175 miles for service or pay for it myself. Thanks for letting your customers know you were closing. I hope the company reads this and knows how much you let me down.

If google had zero stars, I would have used that to rate this dealership. Our daughter is a student at LSU and her AC went out on Friday in her mini. With the temperatures in the 90’s it would be important to have air, this service department must not agree because the first appointment to perform diagnostics on the car which takes less than 15 minutes is in December, unfortunately our daughter will be home by then for winter break. Dad and Sewell of Plano to the rescue, Brian Harris Mini dealership could stand to learn a few things about customer service from Sewell....#onemadmomma

I bought my min cooper about 3 months ago from Brian Harris.. I loved it, as Ive always wanted one! However, not long after I got it home the check engine light came on.. no problem, still under warranty, so I scheduled service. I am NOT going to go into every time I had to bring my mini in because that would take all day... If I am correct it was 6 or 7 times for the same issue. I will say this... Grailyn, who was the person that I almost always spoke to, was always friendly, helpful, and did his very best to accommodate me. YES, it took way too many times for them to finally find the real problem and get it fixed so that darn check engine light would go off and STAY off; but they did fix it. I AM glad that it was still under warranty and I wasnt having to pay for every time it was brought back in for service because that would have been costly. Grailyn was doing the very best he could with what he had to work with... I DID notice that they seem to cater more to the people who have BMWs than Minis.. but just as I told Grailyn.. I sure bet they sell more MInis than they do BMWs so maybe they should see whos actually bringing in the money!

After 3 previous trips to this dealership (2.5 hours away one-way), I dropped my car off April 1st for the same problem (a water leak in the back). I was called June 6th to pick up my car. Drove 2.5 hours to the dealership just to find out that it HAD NOT been fixed. Left in a loaner. June 28th received another call that car had been fixed. Asked if it had been through a car wash to double check for leaks. Today, July 19th, I called and spoke with service manager, Randy Z, who amazingly, miraculously found my car to be suddenly fixed. While on the phone; however, he tried to sell me a filter (nevermind the $70 K&N filter I put in when I got the car in November) and a brake flush. Yes, Im a female, but NO, Im not simple vehicle maintenance challenged Nothing on Earth should take 3 months and 3 weeks to fix, especially at a dealership by certified technicians. Also, one of my factory wheels has been damaged! I WILL NEVER VISIT BRIAN HARRIS MINI AGAIN!!! On their website, they reserve the right to not publish negative comments/reviews, so they have a website ratings of 4.7 out of 5 stars. Rest assured, that IS NOT FOR THEIR SERVICE!!!!!!!!
