Warm and welcoming staff in spite of how busy they are. The giant cookies are seriously amazing. I tried them all. The breakfast sandwich served on home made rolls (choice of a basic roll and everything roll) is delicious, fulfilling and reasonably priced. Blueberry crisp paired with a dollop of vanilla bean ice cream is a delightful, flavorful dessert. The Stadium also offers many delightful coffee choices and unique souvenirs. Enjoy!
We had the lobster Mac and cheese and the #4 “everything roll”. The Mac and cheese was great but the everything roll was the best roll we have had on the island yet. We have went to 3different restaurants and had there rolls but no one’s compare! Definitely a must try while here in bar harbor!
The Stadium is a small shop in Downtown Bar Harbor with an eclectic menu, extremely friendly workers, and excellent lattes. Though this is takeout only, theres something here for everyone. From lobster rolls to breakfast to baked goods and even souvenirs, you likely wont leave disappointed. Just be warned, the portions, for the egg sandwiches at least, are huge! My husband and I were looking for a small sandwich to hold us over before dinner but we ended up with a meal. If you arent into mounds of eggs on your sandwich, this isnt for you, but if you want something filling, its delicious! We also tried most of the lattes on their menu and enjoyed all of them (this was our favorite place for coffee). They also open early, which is great for early morning hikers.
The staff here was so nice and friendly! We spoke to one guy for like 15 minutes, and he gave us lots of recommendations for the best spots in Bar Harbor. The chocolate chip cookies were huge!! I also got the blueberry lemon scone, which made a good afternoon snack. My friends got the lobster roll, a BLT lobster roll, and a clam chowder (they liked the regular lobster roll the best). Since there’s no seating, I definitely recommend walking over to the pier and eating on the grass if the weather is nice :)
One does not simply go to Bar Harbor without stopping at Stadium. This unique space provided us with an amazing experience on two separate visits - once for breakfast and another for lunch. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by friendly staff in a no-rush manner. For breakfast, you are given a wide variety of specialty beverages, including some of the best cold brew youll ever have. Their breakfast sandwiches are also some of the best we have had, which are served on homemade rolls bakes that day. For lunch, you can enjoy any variety of lobster-based plates, as well as other seafood and BBQ. Stadium also has a solid offering of gifts available in the gift shop, and the staff was very helpful in deciding what to purchase. The last thing Ill add is that one of the owners, Greg, personally took the time to stop by and talk to us while we waited for our food. You can tell he genuinely cared about us and our experience as customers, which made us feel at home. We cannot recommend Stadium enough, and look forward to going back soon.
Tried their popovers and cookies. The popovers were fresh and not really my taste but the blueberry jam they come with was delicious. Also tried their choc chip and pb choc chip cookies which were phenomenal. Just wish they were open a bit later! Must stop in here when you’re visiting Bar Harbor!!
Amazing lattes! I had the iced banana and mocha one. We also had the breakfast sandwiches on the everything roll, so delicious and perfect to start for a long day of hiking. We time that they actually have the best popovers so we ordered those in the morning and picked them up after 2! They were amazzzzing!! Cutest little place with great staff!
Ok…. By far the best popovers on the whole island.. way better than the two hour wait place on the pond…oh you know who I’m talking about… the blueberry compote jam is the greatest thing ever invented…
My wife loved the coffee. I think it was some type of maple flavored latte. The breakfast sandwiches were good. I had the lobster benny and my wife had a sausage egg and cheese on an everything roll. The everything roll and other bread was fantastic. The lobster benny was okay, but Id opt for the sausage egg and cheese next time.
Most amazing people that own the place and work there! Amazing coffee, killer breakfast sandwich and amazing lobster roll! Very generous with the lobster meat! I’m a local and I go almost everyday
Outrageously good cookies! We tried four kinds and they were all amazing, and stayed fresh the next day too! Dangerously good because they’re the size of your whole hand!
My husband loved their coffee. He went back daily. The Madeline cupcake was yummy! The boba tea and the breakfast sandwich were also delicious. I wish they had a few tables to sit at.
5/5 lobster mac and cheese (flavorful and delicious)3/5 lobster roll - lobster was rubbery and just mediocre tasting1/5 flat white - coffee tasted burnt, some of the worst Ive bought at a shop ever.Overall, pretty poor value for $50 pre tax.
Food was delicious, and the people and atmosphere were phenomenal. This place is a jewel in the middle of Bar Harbor. Look for it. You wont be sorry.
This place is THE new place in Bar Harbor to go! If you have a family or large group or love sports and great food and beer, you need to check this place out. They’re super friendly, and their prices won’t break the bank. The kids can have awesome hot dogs, and the adults can have the most delicious lobster rolls and local beer. They are even open for breakfast with soufflé style egg sandwiches.
Food was okay, not as good as the reviews I read. Would not recommend the bubble tea…something wasn’t right with the boba/tapioca pearls. Some were hard and others were overcooked. But the staff were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed taking our lunch to the pier and sitting in the grass.
Blueberry muffin and chocolate chip cookie were great. Service was even better, thanks again for the cups.
Great spot for a beer, wine or snack with a unique stadium theme! Try the local Maine blueberry beer with fresh blueberries...its refreshing and not too sweet. Wonderful collection of stadium photos from baseball, hockey and more! They have computers that make it easy to see each teams photos, and you can order a photo right there to be framed and delivered to your home. Very friendly and attentive staff too!
Perfect for our last lunch in Bar Harbor! It was served to-go, so we took it and parked at an overlook in the national park to have our last Maine lobster roll and lobster mac with a view.
Stadium Lobster roll is easily the best in Bar Harbor. Trust me I tried them all. Most lobster meat with no fillers. Prepped exactly to provide most flavor.
Do yourself a favor and get one (or ten) of their chocolate chip cookies. You won’t be disappointed.
The lobster macaroni and cheese was good, but pricey. They used too much bread crumbs, but overall it was delicious.
Once visited never forgotten, went there in 2018, best blueberry pie I have ever tasted, muffins were wonderful, the owner Richard, made myself and my wife very welcome, we signed the visitors book and promised to return, and we are, 1st November next year, billy and Jacqui from UK
This place is awesome!!!! I visited three times during my vacation. There desserts and coffee are to die for!!! Pay them a visit. You will not be sorry!!
Awesome place! Brewed up some green blueberry tea and iced it! Blueberry muffin best one I have had in a while! Trying the lobster roll tomorrow!
Egg sandwich in freshly made roll/biscuit. Excellent and coffee was great. All came with a smile.
We have stopped in here everyday for a chai tea latte. The owner even gave my husband a small bite of lobster. The staff is great. The food is so good and the chai tea is wonderful. Be sure to stop in.
How this place doesnt have a line out the door is amazing to me. Easily one of the best lobster rolls Ive ever had. Loved the twist they put on it having a toasted (what I think was challah) bun and brown butter aoli. The warm homemade cider with rum was also amazing as the temperature drops. If you want the best roll in Bar Harbor, for also the best price, look no further!
The best lobster rolls in Maine! Phenomenal!
Just like anything can happen any day at the ballpark, leave your expectations at the door when you go to the Stadium. The ballpark concession stand aesthetic fronts a flavor and ingredient driven take on Maine classics. Dont expect your typical tourist lobby roll. Stadium pays homage to the traditions, but takes them to new wonderful places. The lobster stew tracks more like a bisque and thats a good thing. It is velvety, buttery and rich, with hints of saffron and half a pound of chopped lobster hiding in the bottom. The lobster roll is a lobster sandwich. DONT LET THAT THROW YOU! Everywhere does a lobby roll in Bar Harbor. The city council might as well hand one to you as you drive over the bridge. The Stadium throws a curve by picking a whole lobster, butter poaching it, and puts it warm on a griddled potato bun with a smear of mayo and drizzle of lemon. It is decadent, filling, and wonderful. A pile of air fried chips and side of slaw provided some perfect texture balance. Finally the most traditional dish we had was blueberry pie a la mode. Sweet with just enough tart, a perfect crust, and cooling vanilla creaminess to balance. All this wonderful food with some of the best customer service Ive ever encountered means this should be a stop for any Bar Harbor vacation. The Stadium hits it out of the park on every level.
They got ube rolls and if you filipino, youre gonna love it
Best lobster roll Ive ever had (with the option of warming it up)! Awesome coffee choices and super friendly staff.
Delicious coffee, the blueberry muffin was really good, the scone was more like a muffin than an actual scone and lacked flavor, and everything was overpriced. It was good but probably wont go back there for a $7 coffee again.
It’s a nice clean restaurant and the owner was a really nice. He came to our table helped to take our lobsters apart. He also just chatted a lot. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is I just can’t get used to the way lobster is served in Maine. So that’s just me, not the fault of the restaurant. I like fully cooked lobster tails like we’re used to out west. The chowder was awesome. If you like Maine lobster, I highly recommend it.
Amazing cookies and wonderful coffee…All natural ingredients….Really good
Loved their coffee and pastries..we came back for more!
The service was great, and the food lived up to the high ratings! Yum!
Delicious! Such a fun concept - and the lobster rolls are ginormous. We will be back!
Great food and service.
The best lobster roll and blueberry muffin in town.If you are in town its a must try restaurant! 10/10 👍👍👍
Best lobster roll Ive had. Got the stadium (vs. the classic). Buttery, soft, flavorful bread with wonderful lobster. That special sauce they put in there is AMAZING. Nice touch of an additional lemon slice if thats what you prefer. Highly recommend if you seek out lobster roll here. Also great service with friendly people. Theres an upstairs eating area with bathrooms.
Great chowder. The lobster rolls were also very fresh and tasty. It comes on a brioche style bun instead of the traditional split top bun, but it does not have a negative impact on the lobster roll overall. The staff is very friendly. They have indoor seating upstairs that is very well suited for social distancing.
We are vacationing in bar harbor for the week. We stopped by to pick up lunch. All of us ordered the lobster roll with coleslaw, chips, Mac n cheese, and cornbread. Everything was wonderful without a doubt. Even though its 4 ounces of lobster, dont let that discourage you because it certainly looks and seems like a lot. The cornbread was some of the best Ive ever had. They were very good about making sure they did everything they could to prevent the spread of COVID-19 so we felt completely safe the whole time. We enjoyed looking around in the building; from the live lobsters to the souvenirs and framed pictures. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. All in all we had a great experience at The Stadium and Id recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal!
Came in cus we were scouring main street for Bubble Tea! At first we were confused because upon entrance it looks like a clothing store, but nope! Nestled right in the back is a counter with all sorts of drink and snack options. There were only 2 flavors of Bubble Tea available at the time of writing this: Thai Milk Tea and Matcha. But honestly, my personal preference is quality over quantity— and as far as I could defect, these werent typical powder add-ins. The Matcha was on the grassier side (👌) and the Thai was not overly sweet. Plus, it seemed the Tapioca bubbles were cooked in-house cus they were on the meltier side. It was great! At the last second I spotted some Ube rolls and these were DELIGHTFUL haha. Very nice heated up!The staff was so cheerful and sweet to us! Definitely recommend popping in.
Amazing hospitality! Very clean and sanitized (during covid) tables upstairs in dining area. Wonderful lobster on homemade roll! Great latte and pastries! Perfect place to warm up on a rainy fall afternoon. Highly recommend!
This was our favorite meal in Bar Harbor! The Stadium styled lobster roll was all we wanted after a grueling hike at Acadia. It was an awesome twist and a very reasonably priced lobster meal that will put Stadium on our list for return visits to Bar Harbor. We also loved the fresh hot cider you could order with an extra kick of rum or whiskey to really warm you up. I have to go back for the lobster benedict!!!
Absolutely delicious, we went for breakfast and I had the lobster Benedict on GF while my hubby had the sausage cheddar breakfast sandwich... So fast!!! Great food, not packed, really friendly thoughtful staff, and a really nice seating area upstairs. As an additional sell, the coffee was super excellent!
We came here for lunch as out of towners and the service was amazing! Everyone who works here is super friendly, their customer service is unmatched. Excellent coffee and the best veggie burger Ive ever had👌 100% recommend stopping in to grab a bite and chat with their staff.
The best lobster and lobster rolls I have ever had. We had them two days in a row for lunch. Going back tomorrow. Homemade rolls and the best fresh lobster every. I dont post reviews often but this was a priority.
The best lobster rolls anywhere! Hand picked meat in your choice of butter, mayo or both served on a homemade bun! Wow!!!! The lobster bisque was also delightful it had huge pieces of lobster meat! The staff were all very pleasant and so helpful! Highly recommend stopping in on your visit to Bar Harbor!!!!!
Very friendly staff. Pulled pork and crab cakes were delicious!! Highly recommend The Stadium! Upstairs dining area very open and clean. My only suggestion would be to add a changing table or a family bathroom for families with little ones!
Insanely good hot lobster rolls. So fresh. No fishy taste, I had it just with hot butter, slaw was ok. Definitely try the Blueberry pie too, packs lots of flavor and I had a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Delicious lobster roll (stadium) and blueberry pie. Tried the award-winning roll from Bite to Maine yesterday. Thought it was incredible. The one from Stadium today is comparable!
Delicious food, great staff and wonderful spot! The best lobster rolls and whoopie pies in Bar Harbor hands down. Everything is homemade, even the buns on the Lobster rolls! The owners Rich and Kristen are such hard workers and it shows. Treat yourself to a meal at The Stadium 💕
Always amazing. Absolutely the best lobster roll in town.Im sad to see so much retail making is way into this wonderful eatery but drastic times call for drastic measures.Either way, if you want the must have lobster roll, this is the place to go.
Very nice staff. The best clam chowder Ive tried since we arrived in Maine. The lobster roll was similar to many others ive tried with the exception of the roll itself that seemed to be a homemade roll and the butter type spread that came with it made it a homerun. The bench & stool cafeteria style seating wasnt appealing to me but it fit in nice with their theme.
The lobster roll with brown butter. Do it. You wont regret it. Its been my favorite lobster roll all week, which is a hard sell lobster roll after lobster roll lol The lobster BLAT also went over well with my family.
Great place if you want a quick place to grab dinner (or lunch). This is a great option for quick takeout but they also have seating if you want to sit down.
The guy that checked us out was great! Super friendly and allowed us to make a last minute selection. And gave us a little bit of educational information about lobsters.
This place is a GEM. We ate other lobster rolls on this trip and honestly wasted money because this place by far had the best. 5 oz of lobster!! Homemade roll!!! The friendliest staff. We ordered the lobster rolls (2x) and the crab cakes. AMAZING. Seriously do yourself a favor, save your money and go to Stadium.
We stopped by this amazing restaurant based on a friends recommendation. My wife ended up ordering the lobster roll and it was incredible! I dont even like lobster but it was very good. I had the chicken strips and they were quite tasty. The homemade blueberry pie was excellent - superb flavor and not too sweet. We had a chance to chat with staff members Kristen and Rich before leaving and both of them were wonderful! I mentioned to Kristen that we were traveling to Wells, ME and she went out of her way to explain local places of interest. Rich also offered us waters to go. Excellent service and great food!!!
Best ever blueberry muffins. Delicious Chicago dog. Great service and employees. Very unique decor. Owner, Rich, makes everyone feel at home. Love this place.
My first time having a lobster roll at this place was like I was in heaven. Great food, great people, and service. 5 STARS.
Yesterday, my mom, grandma, and sister all went to The Stadium Restaurant and Gallery and constantly talked to us about their great experience. From the very polite waitstaff (particularly Glory) to the delicious blueberry desserts, they led me to believe that this would be one of the greatest restaurants I have ever been to. My family and I ended up going to The Stadium today for an early dinner and the entire experience far exceeded my expectations. Our waitress, Laika, was most delightful and so very helpful. She showed my younger brothers (and myself) how to break open our lobster and how to get all the lobster meat out to eat. She constantly checked to make sure that everything was going smoothly at our table and that our food met our expectations. The food was so amazingly delicious. I highly recommend the lobster feast. Every part of that meal had you wishing you could have more. Towards the end of our dinner, Kyle came to make sure everything was great. He was very friendly and welcoming towards us. The atmosphere with the sports and nature pictures was a conversation piece we also thoroughly enjoyed as we ate our dinner. Of the many restaurants we have dined at during our stay in Bar Harbor, this would be our top choice. Be sure to visit! You won’t be disappointed!
We ate here after spending the day in Acadia. The staff was absolutely wonderful and the food was great! We had the lobster dinner, a lobster roll and delicious blueberry beer. I like that you could have a lobster roll that is not covered in Mayo. The staff even took a live lobster out for my kids to see and touch and answered all of our touristy crustacean questions. Really enjoyed our visit!!!
The best food we had in Bar Harbor, hands down. Tried many spots, and this was our first one. Wish we had eaten here over and over. The staff was so welcoming and kind. We had the lobster roll, lobster Mac n cheese, and the crab sandwich. All of them were delicious. Don’t forget to get the blueberry pie for dessert. We ate one in and then had one to-go!
Really awesome spot with a consistent stadium theme. The food was great, a solid selection of seafood with great flavor. Im allergic to shell fish, but there are plenty of solid options for meat eaters or vegetarians. Ton of space upstairs and downstairs and the place was clean as a whistle. Staff was super friendly and were constantly (not excessively) checking on how we were doing and adding recommendations as we were from out of town. Absolutely couldnt recommend a place more than this if you want some solid quick eats a nice beer and great experience.
The lobster roll was the best lobster meal I’ve had in my life. Not many options on the menu but it doesn’t matter if you’re just coming for the lobster.
A bit of a letdown. My wife and I passed it a day before......and a lady in the front of the establishment was selling it so much. We returned the next day to give a crack at it. They advertise the lobster rolls as having 1 & 1/4 pound of meat in them. Absolutely not! There was a manager or maybe even the owner who served us. He was extremely nice. I asked for butter on both rolls......nothing! Bone dry! We got a piece of lemon smaller than a wedge you would put in a glass of water! Im from New York City and theres a place called City Island up in the Bronx, and almost every restaurant there blows this place away! My advice, go to Stewmans down by the water.....way more lobster meat! You will pay more, but way worth it!
I have been all over having lobster rolls and this place is by far the best ever. I didnt get a photo of it but it is served on a hamburger bun instead of a traditional frankfurter bun. Which made it so much easier to eat. It was plain with only meat shucked that morning. Then afterward you must make room for an off the menu dessert called a Thunderhole. A blueberry muffin made by the owner warmed with ice cream and whipped cream. Going back to Halifax will be worth the trip just to have these two items again.
By far the best Lobster Roll Ive had. The bread was amazing & the Lobster was extremely fresh!
The Lobster Mac and Cheese was on point and they have some pretty cool souvenir options for purchase including the art work on the wall which was pretty amazing.
Great food, I ordered the Lobster roll, but everyone enjoyed their food. Friendly staff. Spacious upstairs seating.
OK this place is amazing and it is just what I hoped for— I thought about going to some lobster shack, but it was too cold for us, and we didn’t want a fancy restaurant. The lobster was sweet, along w the corn,Corn bread, coleslaw and blueberry pie best in all of Maine and the service was so incredibly friendly and engaging warm, put us at ease. Kyle and Casey you rock. Thank you for a wonderful night.
Great place SUPPER LOBSTER ROLLS
Lobster roll was excellent. Lobster is cooked on site and not processed. All the people there were very friendly.
BEST BLUEBERRY PIE EVER!From the atmosphere, to the service, to the food quality, to the pricing, I can not speak more highly of The Stadium in Bar Harbor. I was immediately drawn in from the street by the array of pictures that decorate the walls. The vibe of this place is incredibly welcoming and unique. I was greeted by the owners as soon as I walked in, given a tour of all the sports images I was interested in by Casey, and given amazing food service by Kyle. Everyone in this restaurant made me feel very welcome and taken care of throughout my entire visit. The food was delicious and the best deal in town. The restaurant itself was clean, comfortable and fun. This will be a regular spot for me now every time I visit.
We stopped in for a quick bite after whale watching and boy! Did we get a treat! Were from LI, NY and those were THE BEAT steamers ever! Awesome peal-and-eat shrimp! Nicest people and great prices for that area. Do not miss this place! Will return!
I tried the lobster Mac n cheese and a blueberry muffin and they can’t be beat! Clearly theyre homemade recipes! The Mac n Cheese was loaded with fresh, tender lobster meat and the muffin was warmed up and easily the best I’ve ever had.Aside from the food, I was surrounded by amazing photography for sale of stadiums, amazing planet photos, and even a unique collection of lucite statues. The service from the welcoming to my exit was unheard of! I was welcomed by Kristen and Rich, both with huge smiles, checked up on throughout my meal by my server Glory, and given great tips for things to do in town by both Casey and Kyle.
Great staff! Great food! A great find and if we ever come back to this area we will be back to eat here again! Loved the Lobster Feast!
This place is excellent. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is amazing. The lobster roll was the best weve had in awhile and the popcorn is delicious. The aesthetic is beautiful and it just has an all around fun vibe. Highly recommend!
The positives: Staff is very friendly and welcoming (maybe a bit too over-eager but Im willing to bet its because theyre a new business and trying to put their best foot forward, so kudos to them for that). Interesting menu selection. Spacious seating and very clean restaurant. The negatives: Really just one: its not a very good value for what you get. My wife, mother, and I stopped here for lunch and spent just under $40. My mom and I both got the hot dog with mac and cheese on it. I think it was around $7-8. For that price, I expected something more than a standard size hot dog with the kind of mac and cheese that comes out of a box of Kraft. Even then, the mac and cheese had already cooled down to the point of clumping. This is a new business and their first summer season, so of course there are going to be areas for improvement. Considering theyd only been open for less than a month when we were there, Im willing to give them a pass on some of this. For now, though, I would recommend it but with the caveat of eater beware with regards to cost vs. quality/quantity.
Excellent service, Laika & Kristian took good care of us and the food was great. I would definitely recommend this place! Good atmosphere and the place is very cool as well. Loved it! Thank you guys :)
Delicious lobster roll and blueberry pie! This was the perfect kick-off to a long weekend in Bar Harbor. Friendly staff and excellent casual food in a welcoming atmosphere.
Good food, nice staff
Our first trip to Bar Harbor and The Stadium was the first place we stopped to grab a bite to eat. We both got the Lobster dinner. IT WAS AMAZING! I highly recommend it! Finish off with their homemade blueberry pie- so yummy! Service was fantastic, Kyle and Casey were very knowledgeable about some must see and do’s, they had great recommendations. We will definitely dine here again the next time we come to Bar Harbor!
We wanted... no- needed (!!) a place for live music and stumbled upon this gem! Fun music, and what a unique theme! Stadium inspired food (lobster rolls and hot dogs from famous stadiums) and craft beer from Bar Harbor was so fun! Adorable professional photos of every type of stadium line the walls of this cute bar- all for sale! I wish I could have bought one for my dad, bro, brother in law, and roommate. Loved the live music- they are trying to get a line up for each night, which Bar Harbor needs! The people are very friendly and fun to chat with. Would definitely recommend if you’re in town!
