This store has all you need for your hair styling. Also other beauty products you may need or want. The store is always clean,neat and well stocked.

I will never come back here, The sign saying that you need to wear a mask is very small on the front door and there’s about 10 other signs on the door surrounding it. There were two people sitting at the door when I walked in and they let me in without a mask after I finished shopping they told me that I cannot be rang up without a mask. I went to my car to get my mask came back and they wouldn’t let me in for 10 minutes. the door was locked and the LP would not tell me why. After standing outside for 10 minutes I was finally let in and told they were at capacity. They never told me when I was leaving that I wouldn’t be able to come back in immediately. when I knocked on the door they didn’t tell me why I couldn’t come in, and while I was standing there six people left out before I was able to come back in.

One of the largest in the area but need to stock more regularly. Plenty of times Ive been here they didnt have the color hair or wigs i need which is #1 and the customer service needs improvement. Its in the hood so the outside doesnt have the best curb appeal

I’monly giving it a 5 star so that people can see it. I literally called to see if they carried an item that I’ve been trying to find all day. They tell me that they have it and when I asked the price the man stated that they don’t give out prices over the phone. Can someone point me in the direction of a Black Owned Beauty Supply. I will never shop here and neither should you

Tuana B was so helpful and patient with everything. She told me how many packs of locs I needed, and advised me to put a few back. I appreciated that. Plus I love her braids!!!!

They usually have what Im looking for, its quick and if I need help someone is right there!

The largest beauty supply in south west Baltimore, I go to buy combs, brushes and an occasional hat.

They dont believe in having different colors besides 1, 1b, 2, 4, blue, purple and white blonde. Dont come too early and dont show up too late here. You will miss the stuff they do have in stock ! Amazon somethings cheaper then them lol

Very poor costumer service...The wig I wanted was the last one that color but on display usually its %10 off period if its out on the display but I was told that it doesnt matter if more wigs other colors are back there I said cool just ring me up then they began to move and laugh with each other as they counted my money...I was constantly standing waiting for help with plenty of employees in there..the wigs and hair was old and tacky anyways...i do not recommend

Went here to purchase very first wig... Consulted with young lady in the wig department... Only consulted about the style of the wigs... Not upkeep, maintenance or quality and further more they do not let you know about their return policy on the hair until after you purchase that they dont return... The stores policy are located on small picture frames in the corners of the store that are not half as noticeable as the sale and price signs. If you want to know where the policies are on the hair you have to go to the back of the store where the wigs are, pass the help desk, in the far right corner almost behind you where the stylist chairs are and up on the shelf where the mirrors are. The policy is if you dont ask they wont tell and if you didnt see it its not their fault. Theres another picture frame policy at the register depending where they move it on the counter, they have different policies on different things so make sure to inquire and get a full understanding before you buy. But they do let customers try on as many wigs as theyd like in store whether they purchase them or not😕. Sooo tired of businesses scamming, lying or flat out misrepresenting theyre products and policies, stop trying to steal my options😤😤😤. I know Im only 1 person but they will not get another Dime from me. I do want to make sure I pay it forward and let the next person know. Theyre Return policy should be posted where every customer can see it... Example (WARNING or EXIT SIGN)!!! Not scattered throughout the corners of the store or in moveable frames.

I went into KC beauty supply at Westside Shopping Center this evening hoping to purchase a wig. The young lady working in the wig area did not greet me upon walking into that area. Occupied with her cell phone, she looked up at me and continued to use her phone. I spoke to her and asked where her human hair wigs were. She told me they were behind the counter and proceeded to use her phone. I asked what the wigs in the isles were made of because I’ve never purchased a wig before. She explain that they were a blend and went right back to her cell phone. Hoping to get some further help I jokingly told her I was new to all this and had no idea what to look for, STILL to no avail! Due to the amount of irritation in both her tone AND body language, I decided to not even ask for any further help. After walking around each isle looking at wig after wig NO ONE asked if I needed help, if I knew what I may have been looking for, NOTHING. One associate walked right past me angrily on the phone clearly arguing with someone. The young lady originally in the wig area exclaimed she was ready to go home at that point. I ended up leaving the store due the lack of customer service and unwillingness to offer assistance, especially to a customer inexperienced with the wig buying process. Maybe I’m a little anxious about HAVING to purchase a wig to do an emergency with my natural hair, but this experience did not alleviate that feeling AT ALL.

This beauty supply store is nice but for some of there items its a little bit pricey. You might do better going to Beauty 4 u or Beautyland to find your items. This store will be last on my list to purchase any items unless the other stores dont carry it. Its nice and clean but, the prices are more then Beauty 4 u.

The Products = HORRIBLE (I paid $450 thinking I was getting what was what was being advertised; a human hair Malaysian lace front wig. I instead got hair that shed, and matted up after the 1st wash, and resisted silk press - the hair never straightened).When I took my receipt and hair back to the store, a manager told me that she could not exchange NOR return the product #infuriatingThe young ladies that initially helped me were pleasant at the time.

I went to get a hair rinse. A gentleman assisted me. I asked him which color blonde did he think would look best with my complexion. He gave me his opinion. I did purchase the golden blonde, and purchased some lipstick. I never had a bad experience at that KC Hair location

On November 20,2019 my experience with the cashier there was horrible I will never step foot in that store again. I had my hand out for my item I was purchasing and she threw it on the counter that was very rude and there prices are much higher than other beauty outlet. We don’t have to spend our money and be disrespected at the same time.😡😡😕😕😔😔😡

They have a lot of merchandise packed in a smaller space but the staff is cool and the guard at the store is nice. They have plenty of my favorite summer jewelery, anklets and toe rings!

Once I got home I realized that the wig I purchased was not the same one I tried on in store. The young lady that waited on me did not give me the wig that I wanted. They have a no return policy on hair & wigs so now Im stuck with a $79.99 wig that I dont like. Never again!!!!!

If I could give no stars, I would. I just left here about 15 minutes ago, and I wont be going back. I went in to buy an extra pack of hair, some leave in conditioner, and some hair accessories. Next thing I know I am being hounded by security(who should have been watching the door), and this guy tries to make suggestions on which I should buy. First off, I read the ingredients before putting anything in my hair. Second, if I wanted advice, I would have asked the ladies behind the counter, not some overzealous security guard. Needless to say, for my first time coming here, I felt very unwelcome. I wasnt the only customer in the store, but he followed me through the hair care aisle, to the register, and to the door as I was leaving. I didnt even get to the hair accessories section, so I left with only the hair I needed. Ive been shopping at BSS for a while, so I know why security is there, but that was ridiculous. How are you supposed to watch the door for thieves, and then single out one out of three people in the store? It is a real shame, because this is a large store and probably had everything I needed. But I will never know due to such a bad experience.
