I love how they organize the shelves. I go for to-go food here many times. I love the whole rotisserie chicken and the dinner rolls.This Costco have a pharmacy, to-go restaurant, optometry clinic, prescription eye glasses and contacts, photos developer, florist, produce, dairy and meat section. Oh! They also have a bunch of limited edition clothing and shoes for men and women, kids and adults. They have a self checkout with annoying automated teller, tell you to place your item in the baggage area.

This Costco is always busy, the lines to checkout move pretty fast. You can always find something you weren’t looking for or planning on buying when you come here.All the employees I have came in contact with were very nice. Excellent meats and fish products. Great prices on lobsters.I tried their pre-made chicken Alfredo platter, already cooked just heat, it was really good and big enough for 6 adults, for about $17

Went in today to buy some essentials. I had trouble finding something and a associate by the name of Emre (I think) helped me find what I was looking for. I love coming here and am thankful for the membership.

Rude staff. I was in line making a purchase for Instacart and was told I needed to figure it out for myself, despite the fact that I was instructed on the app to give them the customers card number and they were to put it in manually. I told two staff members there that this was all the information I was given and was redirected to another staff woman, who was helpful.

Picking up gas is a hassle compared to other Costco locations. The entry to the pumps are divided by medians and trees. Its hard to get a bead on which will be the quickest line. There are no lights to tell you if the pumps are full or available. As always, the price is good, but there are a lot of recreational vehicles that fill up here. They take a long time.

If you go really early theres usually no waiting. The staff on duty are always ready to help out! 🙂👍

They open really late for office working people that we don’t use or like to use the online shopping it’s very inconvenient.

Great, always find great things, not always specific items, but I am never disappointed when I shop at Costco.

Love the muffins Tyson frozen chicken (nuggets/strips) large clear trash bags (use them for more than trash you can see whats inside without opening the bag makes finding things so much faster folded clean towels sheets, blankets anything that you store and want to keep freash prevents dust from being absorbed into cloth line my dirty clothes hamper sorting loads at the laundry mat made simple bring new bags to put them in to bring them home when traveling or camping they are amazing Costco has a lot of things but these items are my favorite cant do without

I love this store lots of great things and prices.

I was only there to get gasoline but I will say that even that went smoothly. It’s worth waiting in line for Costco gas and even when the lines are long they go by pretty fast so I advise anybody that’s a member that with just a small amount of patience it’s worth waiting to get that gasoline. Remember Costco gas is also top-tier gasoline and on top of it almost a dollar cheaper than anyone else in town so it’s a win win all the way around

Very helpful employee: Kyle. For some reason cell tower was down and I had no service. I was traveling only with phone so I freaked out and asked for help. One other hispanic male employee about 5”2”, stocky and very short hair refused to help so I searched for another one who was Kyle.Kyle helped me out with printing a driving directions to my desired location which was super helpful especially without any service. I had no other way knowing directions so this was a life saver. I appreciate his help and cheery attitude. Management should take a note of it.

Costco love that place they just have everything i need.. prices are fare

The employees are wonderful, friendly, helpful. The relocation of member services a great idea. However, the photo department has been entirely removed. So, no passport pictures, etc.As for the clientele, bring your A game and get ready to fight for a path with your cart.

We stop here on our way to sequioa and did not expected to be so crowed, also most of the staff was not wearing a mask, and nevertheless having cistomers wear mask.

Was insanely crowded but prices were amazing and checkout was still very fast. The food Court is lacking on condiments compared to some other Costcos, but all in all it was a favorable experience. The crowd comes with the territory so cant really hold that against them, and at least they dont seem to be cheaping out on hiring employees.

Parking lot is packed but their is plenty of parking. Gas is cheap by 20 to 30 cents a gal average. Long line and moves fast store is clean crowded and well stocked. Checkers are quick. And drink and hotdog $1.50 yum self check out fast and quick.

I love Costco, maybe too much. I spent 5 grand here easily in 4 months. They have everything except great customer service. Is it me or do employees seem a bit too cold and unhappy? W

I used to love Costcos photo dept. They knew their stuff and produced the best photos for pennies but they just did away with them. I know it partly to do with the flue but they wont bring it back after. Im doing my hall floor to. Ceiling in mostly Costco enlarged prints. Now what. I have 1/4 of a wall to go.

Stopped to get gas here. I went inside to go to the restroom. They were remodeling so there was a trailer outside. Even then it wasnt bad. Went in to get hearing aid batteries. That part was closed today but a nice lady helped me find the right ones. Gentleman at the Refund desk told me to download the Costco app when I asked for a booklet of places Costco has gas stations. Everyone treated this traveler well. Thank you!

Cool! Costco takes Apple Pay! Thank goodness because I didn’t have my Costco visa card on me! LOL

They normally have good quality products at a fair prices, only complaint would be tire shop on a warranty issue they really dont repair tires they just offer replacement and you have to pay a prorated amount based on milage. Back in the day they would normally comp it for you but I guess times have changed.

Shopping at Costco is always a treasure hunt made even more challenging by the remodeling. But its great when you find the items you are looking for.

Although the lines can be long employees are efficient and get you through as quickly as possible. Employees are always kind and they always are in a good mood. Food is good and they have a huge selection of items and are instantly bringing in new things .

You can get quality products and great hot dogs

Super long lines as soon as we entered store. So decided not to shop there. Grabbed a hot dog on way out. Sesame seed hot dog bun.. bummed..

Its Costco but I do like the customer service. Every employee Ive talked too, hasbeen kind, knowledgeable and happy to help.

Even though it was totally packed and all registers open, I feel like things are ruuning faster at checkout. The self checkout is one of my favorite changes. Its actually possible to pick up few things fairly quickly if you have no Alchohol, Tobacco etc.

The store is always great, and I find everything I need. But today I had 2 carts, well the girl checking out receipts was distracted. Well she gave me a dirty look as I left when I was gonna tell her I had 2 carts. I think next time Ill go to the Panama location.

We were able to stop quickly, and while my husband filled the gas tank, I had time to order & walk out with a pizza. We met up again just past the gas pumps and continued on our way. It would have only been a twenty minute delay but the on-ramp for South 99 is closed until June 21 so we detoured a bit.

First time here & honestly, I prefer Sams club.Costco has a ton of empty shelves and boxes all over the store, very disorganized, and the cashiers were very unfriendly.The two girls who helped had a conversation between themselves the whole time i was being checked out and literally ignored that i was even there.

Always SUPER CROWDED but worth the wait. The only thing that I didn’t appreciate was when we got to the checkout there was a bit gentleman there scanning our items and he had no personality whatsoever but the bagger which was a younger kid was actually more outgoing and sociable than the actual checker. So that being said some people that work there just need to lighten up a little bit I never know what kind of day someone else is having, but you could be that change in that person’s day just by greeting them.

Who doesnt like Costco? You should try the yellow peaches there a must have Freestone so good and juicy yummi. Theres always something new to look at and they started doing the sampling again. I hate to buy something if I cant taste it first.

Love this place. Great gas prices keeps me heading over here for thing I might not always need. I bought 2 basket balls great deal with a few extra dollars off. The lift tickets to Mammoth appear to be a great saving from the 160 per person price online. Plus it is always nice to have a sample or two.

Just gased up there. Prices for gas are typically the best there, from Merced to San diego and the lines are not to bad.

Always go there to get gas.sy have to wait in line but the cost savings is worth it.I kill 2 birds one stone as I get my Premiere protein drinks there. Last month they started carrying the Latte and zi totally switched from the chocolate. Sorry ole buddy.

Restroom was good and well kept. Parking lot is a decent and had station is well attended. The customer service was actually challenged today with bring after the first of the year shoppers. Overall Bakersfield Costco is well kept and very nice. Some of the workers just need a paid holiday vacation.

Just stopped for gas on our way through town. Love that this location is so close to Highway 99.

Costco is always a reliable spot to get all the necessities. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. Costco prices usually cant be beat and the quality of their products is reliably good. They have great finds depending on the season. Weve been loyal costco shoppers for decades and we keep coming back. Additionally, their gas and tires are always a good deal!

Look at the mess Thalia P did on my receipt. You know why? BECAUSE COSTCO CASHIERS ARE ALWAYS TALKING, JOKING AND EVEN FLIRTING WITH THEIR CO WORKERS at checkout when they should be paying attention . They dont even acknowledge the customers.

Love shopping at Costco. Theyre always stocked up . And the workers are great.

With the exception of toiletries such as toilet paper, paper towels water which all are essentials otherwise it was okay got what I needed!

I had a wonderful Customer Service experience with Mina (Customer Service) and Jose (Sales). Their knowledge, attitude and service are amazing. I hope that they are being rewarded for their amazing work ethic. GREAT JOB MANAGEMENT.

Customer service was Great today!

We went on Saturday and it was busy but not crowded. It was really nothing in comparison to how crazy busy it can be on the weekends. (especially sundays) They have also opened up self checkout lanes that speed up the process. Just know ahead of time you cant use self checkout if you want to purchase alcohol.

Their floor staff are amazing. So helpful, respectful, and kind. BUT their customer service/return staff are not as friendly and respectful as the floor staff.

The store is well stocked and clean. The member service lady wasnt all that nice though. She pushed the credit card and the executive card three or four times in our conversation. I understand they are trying to reach their marks but it was excessive. Then the final time I said no, she was very rude, very quick and didnt even say goodbye or say I was finished with our transaction. She just walked away. I was very surprised to say the least.The glasses department was respectful, fast and personable. That is why I am giving 4 stars. If it was soley based on the member service, it would have been a one star or two to be nice.

The lines are at times a bit long but usually we can get through in a reasonable amount of time.

Like everywhere else many of their staples are more and more unlikely to be on the shelf.

I never have a pleasant experience when I go to this location for a return. I guess Im just not a fan of being spoken to in a demeaning manner. If youre looking for a consistently pleasant experience I would suggest going to the other Costco in town.

My husband and I come everything we visit Bakersfield, the hot dog and soda for 1.50 is awesome, even if we dont shop for anything we still got get hot dogs or pizza or chicken bakes, Id definitely recommend someone to get a membership not only for the food deals but the big inventory of products, I was surprised by so many things they had.

Always kinda busy, but going around mid-day during the week is definitely better than trying to go on the weekend! Friendly and helpful employees literally around every corner to help you find things.

Costco was very busy mid-week with gas station line taking over 30 minutes to fill-up. Self-checkouts as fast. Selection no different from other Costco
