I love the items and service at Glamtic. The owners were THE friendliest couple and very personable.The area outside is big, they also house items inside two buildings. They have quite the collection of items spread throughout every nook amd cranny. I saw tools, pots, chairs, old windows, old doors, chandeliers, head boards, tons of street signs, small knick knacks, magazines, dolls, old bottles, trunks, chests, books, desks, book shelves, vanities!It was quite the adventure looking through everything; personally thats my favorite part.During my trip I found brass animal figurines 😁 great first trip! Hope you enjoy.

I came with a box van and lots of cash so I could stock up on antiques. I do hard manual labor, support my family, and when I have a little extra to splurge I like getting well made american antiques. This place seemed Americana, but when I parked there I was told not to park in front of his store because Im tired of looking at your truck! and threatend to have me cited. It was a strange experience to say the least. Ive gone antiquing all over the United States and never met such an aggressively rude person. Not very friendly, probably paid for most of these good reviews.

Jack and his wife are fantastic folks. Very cool shop with all sorts of wild things to check out. Pricing was great and the overall trip there was fantastic! Cheers guys! Thanks for the barrels!!!!

I should always look at posts before I visit. They were not open on the day I visited, but I will be stopping by on the 4th of Jan.

Love this place! I have been at least 3 times. Made a purchase bought a vanity for my daughter. The staff is always friendly. There is so much good stuff here. Take your time it is outdoor for the most part.

The owner knowingly buys stolen items and then refuses to give them back to the rightful owner. My boyfriend had a trailer and 4 trail bikes stolen a month ago. By chance we saw them up on the Glamtic Facebook page. Happy to see them again, he called several times and private messaged Jack to no avail. He finally commented on the pictures and Jack immediately called him back screaming at him about how he was trying to ruin his business. He kept telling my boyfriend “Do you have any idea who I am??!” It was all ridiculous. My boyfriend had more than enough proof the bikes were his. He only got them back when he showed up at his yard with a sheriff. Jack is bad news. Stay far away from this guy and his shady business.

I’ve been here several times and have bought a few things from them. My complaint is that the owners have displayed their true character in a recent dispute over items that they bought that were stolen. They went ballistic on the people who tried to retrieve their items. A police report was shown and pictures of the items, but that still wasn’t enough for Jack, the owner of Glamtic. When Jack was contacted and told that the items had been stolen a month prior, that was what he wanted, but in reality he still was not going to give the items back. He wanted to be reimbursed for the money he bought them for. Other reviews on Yelp have said that he buys from shady people and that is apparently what happened in this case. The rightful owner paid Jack so he could get his items back. If that is the law, then so be it. But what Jack and his wife did to the owner is just plan wrong. He texted and insinuated that the owner of the stolen items organized a lynch mob to go after him after someone left a negative review about his business. Who does this?! The banter went back and forth on FB and between texts. The wife got involved and the two of them went above and beyond what honest business people would do. They were desperately trying to prove what great people they were. At one point, they professed their Christianity. Why this had to be said is very telling to me as to their true character. It was like a badge that they liked to flash. I’m not going to do business with them anymore. My suggestion is to look them up on Yelp. These are more accurate reviews and descriptions of the dealings people had with Jack and his wife. They can’t block people on Yelp like they can here. I’ve read reviews of other people where they have been blocked from their website from reviewing them. No wonder this site shows 4 out of 5 rating. Yelp is at 2. You can decide for yourself 🤷🏻‍♀️

Lets start by saying it is very hard to get those five stars out of me but time and time again this place does it lets start with service outstanding any questions the owners will answer if they cant the will look it up inventory lets talk about that for a second huge variety the owners of this place travel two places like Kentucky Georgia just to bring back those sweet sweet items pricing not bad at all lets be honest its not like they dont know what they have but they still leave a little bit on the bone for you so yes 5 stars you get a chance go by there just have a look around its a fun place

I was greeted great from the get go by a gentleman. Gave awsome direction. The whole team gave quick direction to where the item I had asked about. Start to finish, awsome friendly. I so cant wait to come back and truly explore.

If you have something that youre willing to let go of for less than its market value, this is the place. The perfect place for a middle man of any deal.

Lots of odds and ends. Some great, some not but overall a fun place to snoop around for a hidden treasure or two. Owner even greeted us with a warm smile, friendly Hello and firm handshake to welcome us as he introduced himself.

Such a rockin store. Many neat and unique finds. The owners are such a cute and sweet young couple....its great to have a place like you in Bakersfield. If you havent made it by their store before make sure you do.

Found some great old glass for mosaics. Good place to find that something no one else may have

I LOVE this place! Jack and Stefani are awesome and soooo talented at what they do. They are super nice too! If they dont have what you are looking for, theyll do their best to find it for you. I love just going to see what new treasures they have. Their prices are very reasonable as well. Id highly recommend this place. Once you go, youll be addicted! 😁👍

They purchased a stolen bird, and refuse to give it back to the rightful owner, and are only willing to sell it back to the rightful owner! Which is 100% wrong. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CROOKED PLACE

I saw an item posted on Facebook and the owner responded to my question after hours. He took a payment over the phone and held the item for me to pick up a couple days later. He even offered a 100% refund if I was not completely satisfied with my purchase upon seeing it in person. They have an expansive inventory and are always offering new items. They do a great job responding to Facebook questions.

Somewhat over priced, wear gloves and work clothes because you will get dirty while youre treasure hunting. Theres a lot to look through, theres something for everyone
