I have been waiting for months to get a piece of paper from this company that will allow me to register a vehicle I bought from them. I have the title in MY possession, and have been unable to get any cooperation from this company. Find another company to do your work. These folks are shady.UPDATE:It has been two weeks since I talked to Robby. I was told he would call me back the next day. Two weeks later, and no contact.

We completed our facility in 2019. Compound Security was the subcontractor to install all video surveillance systems, controlled front gate, building key pads and sound system. This company was a PAIN to deal with for the two years we worked together. All three new video monitors they supplied stopped working. The gate controller was way too slow to respond. Only when we hired another contractor, did they figure it out within minutes. The building key pads malfunction regularly (discovered to be due to improper installation). They fought us at every opportunity to NOT honor warranty issues. Their customer service manager often tries to over charge for warranty service, sells inferior quality devises and is unprofessional to deal with (argumentative). Its only when we threatened legal action did they comply with what was contractually agreed upon. We will never use this company for anything again now that our warranty period has finally ended. UPDATE May 2021: We have continued to find things Compound Security has forgot to do, like placing pipe caps on intercom boxes (left an open hole). Rain destroyed the electrical components inside the intercom buttons. They refuse to rectify their technicians forgetfulness. A simple plastic cap could have saved us thousands in replacement costs.

Our HOA paid this company to build a fence, 2 gates and a fire gate. They built the fencing and the gates (the fire gate is not right), then refused to program the remotes and get the gates functional.They also overcharged for footage of the fencing. They then started saying they wont do anything else until we pay them more for the fencing they overcharged us for!Now they are not taking calls from our HOA contact even though they said they wanted to talk about everything. When we said yes, we would like to get this sorted, they ignored us and are no longer in contact with anyone here.When we hired this company, it was run by someone else who came to our HOA meeting and told us all these things they were going to do for us. Halfway through the project, someone else bought the business and they are unwilling to get the gates operational.We are now shopping around to find another company to take over and program the gates for all of us in the community and get us up and working. Unacceptable. I have only ever written good reviews online, but this is crazy!!

This company is attempting to honor its agreements. Even though, it has had some questionable business practices in the past. This company has issues with its intrnal communication one hand doesn’t know what the others doing.Project management is nearly nonexistent they cannot seem to follow through with planed specifications. These issues with project management are due mostly impart to lack of communication within their organization. It is also due to not appropriately collecting the stakeholders expectations and communicating those expectations to project team members.5/20/2020 – Update reached out to this company via our representative and got no positive response from this company. No resolutions were reached and their willingness to even discuss.5/26/2020 - Today, we met with the new owner of this company. He was very willing to work through the issues to come to a reasonable and agreeable resolution. This project has been sitting idle for months we discussed how to bring it to a close. This project was initiated under the previous owner of Compound Security Specialist. I will continue to update this review once certain deliverables are achieved: corrected invoices, fobs / credentials and training on operation of gates.

Installed security gates at a brand new community and the equipment is obsolete in less than a year. Now the HOA has to pay to clean up their mess! Avoid at all costs.

Keep your children in your homes. Their driver clocked 50 mph in our residential street. No regard for safety.

Great company that can handle anything thrown their way

We have a gate that was mis-wired by our previous repair company. Marco has been wonderful in re-wiring our Patriot system and troubleshooting the mis programmed remotes. We were willing to replace more parts that he felt needed and he did not try to sell us extra parts. He also gave us his direct line if we had any problems over the weekend after he came out. Excellent in every way and the telephone support staff is also excellent. I appreciate that you can create a work order online and get an emaill confirming they are coming. Very efficient and responsive.

I was driving home from work on Austin Hwy, waiting on a light to turn, the driver went through a gas station entrance and exit instead of waiting in line as they drove, the passenger of the work vehicle sticks up his middle finger out the window at another car, and the driver erratically cut in front of me, he was driving out of control the entire time I had eyes on the vehicle I called the phone number on the truck and spoke with a representative and informed me she would contact the boss I gave her the license tag number. Nothing will probably be accomplished I guess I will see. I wish I could give a negative star for the unprofessional behavior.

Installed obsolete equipment in our gated subdivision now costing us to replace the entire system a year later. DO NOT USE THEM!
