2021-SeptHUGE store. Plenty of selection. Competitive prices.Checkout is usually speedy.Staff is usually quite helpful and available. But not always.The store is neat and orderly, but not particularly clean. It is construction materials to be sure.All in all a perfectly cromulent orange Big Box store.

Pleasantly surprised to find out that Home Depot’s garden center is still very much alive so close to the fall. It is actually better, in selection, than Lowe’s. Didn’t buy anything this time around but we took a mental picture of the variety of plants.

Usually take advantage of curbside ordering. Also have returned an item before. Everything is always performed in a timely manner with associates having a friendly demeanor. Anytime we’ve gone inside and asked for help associates are always attentive and wanting to help.

I will start by saying that Ive had good experiences in the store, however purchasing appliances here for future delivery has been a nightmare.First, I bought 3 appliances to be delivered in August. I picked them because they weren’t backordered and were available. I call to make a change on the date of delivery and thats when they first let me know the fridge is now in backorder and would be delivered 1 MONTH after my initial date. The best solution they could offer? Cancel the fridge order so I could get the washer/dryer on the right date (seriously?) They tell me to call back the next day so they could reschedule that separately with LG since it wasn’t showing up in their system yet. They said they could potentially lend me a loaner fridge but it wasn’t clear they would let me borrow it for that long. Not only was that not helpful but 2 of the reps I spoke to on the phone were also rude.But here is the best part, the refund given for the fridge was off. So now I was losing money (costing me more just to get the washer / dryer) when all of this was meant to be a sales price for bundling together. I ended up cutting my loses, cancelling the whole order and going with Best Buy to save almost $200 dollars. Moral of the story, buy appliances where they actually have it in stock and saved for you, it will save you a massive headache.

Was my local store for 2 years. Loved it.The staff will help you and also leave you alone. Thats what Im talking about!Never had a problem returning things, either. Im going there anytime I need home repair stuff and its not TOO much further away from the nearest home repair store. Yes, Ill go out of my way to shop here.

Well I had a great experience the girl and man that helped did an amazeing job at helping me out. I was so pleased if I could remember there names I would love for there supervisor to at least give them a great job for there patients and support in helping me the way they did. Plus I love Home Depot you can find just about anything you need for your home. Plus ppl are so friendly and ready to help out.I recommend Home Depot to everyone.🙂

I love this Home Depot! Weve been going to this location for several years now, and its honestly the best one in all of Austin. ALL of the employees are kind and genuinely willing to help, and weve even ran into the managers and the general manager from time to time because they like walking the floor and checking in on customers. I cannot stress enough how friendly the employees at this location are. Mega shout out goes to the paint department, everyone who works there has stellar personalities, especially the young man with the light-colored hair!

I came to return an item and there was a bit of a wait. When I got to the store clerk, I presented my receipt and item, which he scanned. There must have been a glitch because it wasnt recognizing the item. But instead of trying a second time, he told me, you probably bought this a Lowes so we cant take it. Even though I had a Home Depot receipt with the item clearly labeled on said receipt.In a neutral tone, I told him well Ive never even been to a Lowes in Austin in my entire life, at which point he tried again and it worked. I understand working customer services/returns can be an irritating experience so, I wont hold that against him but direct that curtness towards customers that are actually causing problems.At the end of the day, my item was returned but, I could have done without the incorrect assumptions and attitude.

After buying a nearby fixer-upper, this is almost a second home to me these days. The store is great but the parking situation could be better.Finding a parking spot can be a trial some days. On top of fairly dense and limited parking, youll find that a lot of spaces are permanently occupied by overflow inventory.

Im a contractor and frequent almost all of the greater Austin area big box stores. I love working in this area but I would rather drive to Lowes on Shoal Creek than trying to shop at this store.Parking is an absolute joke; especially for contractors with trailers. Even getting a parking spot in the back 40 is a chore most days.In store is a mess too. Ive never seen so many employees and customers jammed into one store.

Terrence was the best customer service representative Ive ever met in my life. He helped me throughout the garden section he was very knowledgeable of grass and seed burs. I call them sticker buds. Also ways to get grass to grow. I bought everything he recommended plus some other things. He even helped me put heavy items in my car.

This Home Depot is great. It has all the things you would normally need at a Home Depot and its in a great place. Theres plenty near it so that you can get a bite to eat before you go shop. Theres lots of parking space. And all the staff are friendly and helpful.

Mueller Home Depot - I asked for assistance from two employees yesterday. Both acted inconvenienced when I asked one about appliances and the other about kitchen cabinets.They didnt want to provide service, I insisted they help me. I was going to remodel my kitchen using HD - I will absolutely stay away! Horrible customer service and she was not an actual kitchen designer - just someone trained to use the complex software. The process was a complete waste of time and her attitude reflected someone with the charm of a rock that couldnt be nudged. Going to Lowes!And twice I have had appliance personal - both white older males tell me to go to the website for answers while I was in the store! Excuse me - isnt it their job to answer questions vs send me to the website.

I had the worst experience here today. So many people around but nobody seems to know anything! Everything is in the wrong spot and marked different prices so when I brought it to the attention of the employee he did nothing so I went to the register and they would not ring it up for that price. She said they don’t train them for this and I need to walk her back to see what the price was. I did and as we were walking Edwin decides he wants to make eye contact with her and shake his head in disapproval of what was happening. After I went back around he kept looking at me talking about me with other employees so I asked him what his problem was and he started to be very rude and snarky with me but this is just an example of the terrible unprofessional employees they have at the store nobody wants to help you but everybody wants to have an argument with you

Well you know its a home Depot. Theyre pretty much standardized nowadays their prices are hanging with the inflation but you know everything else is generally the same in every home Depot Ive been at the associates are generally either extremely knowledgeable or their new and really dont know anything but you know you got to start somewhere I just try to avoid the people that dont know that merchandise you know trying to explain to somebody NPT...PVC... CPVCSchedule 40 versus schedule 80 dvw .... worst of all pex... Its easier just to go and find your own parts they did have some killer clearance items... Got some under the cabinet lights for a dollar with batteries. Thats nice

I asked for Armstrong Linoleum Tile and two employees didnt know what the heck they were doing. One asked me if Armstrong was a color and then asked what anoleeum even was. Another employee thought it was Arm & Hammer rather than Armstrong. Totally useless. No help whatsoever.

This is a great Home Depot. The staff are always very friendly, it’s a nice building and a nice location. The parking lot is the only hassle as it’s quite cramped here on weekends but I’ve always still managed to find a spot.

This is the busiest Home Depot in Austin. Items go fast and it takes time to restock. You do not always get the item you came for. It is a good idea to go to another Home Depot to ensure you get what you came for.

Ok so Im walking browsing the iles and a home depot employee doesnt even announce him self walking with some very long strips of wood or base board. Im convinced that he would have said something only after he ran into me. And then I ask a different home depot employee about the garden doors and gate open and he says I dont know maybe at 8:00 or something and keeps on stocking. It made me feal unwanted and very unimportant so I dropped what I was going to buy and left. Also Im not a grammar teacher so feal free to correct it

Employees didnt know where items were located that I needed. Item that I ordered and paid for to be shipped to store has taken two weeks and still not there. Multiple employees standing at registers not helping anyone. Upset, frustrated, angry. Not a good experience. That is why I prefer to shop at Lowes. Plus Lowes has Veteran parking. Guess Home Depot doesnt care about things like this. And they had a whole row roped off so no one could park and about six employees just standing around.

SCAM ALERT!My grandmother bought a new dryer from them and paid for her old dryer to be recycled. Even with a receipt, the delivery team was hesitant to take the old one. They reluctantly took it when they finished, but we found it dumped in the alley down the street when we left her house. This is shady business to profit on individuals who think yall are doing the right thing and recycling old appliances, when youre actually just illegally dumping them. An investigation needs to be launched as this is fraud, theft and littering.

Went into this store today looking for a product that on the website said store quantity may be limited. I first went to customer service, showed them what I saw on the website and they directed me to appliances. When I got to appliances I wandered around looking for the dept employee for over 5 minutes before I had to ask someone to call them over. Upon the employee arriving and seeing me waiting, the phone started ringing, he proceeded to answer and take the call. After 5 minutes on the phone with his mask completely off, he told me it will just be a minute before he could help me. When he finally took the time to pull up his mask and help me, I was told the store never carried that product and when it says store quantity may be limited it means they dont carry it in the store; Im unsure why I couldnt have been told that in the first place. I will not be returning, Lowes is way out of the way but worth the better prices and customer care.

My hope in writing this review is to help you avoid the headache and nightmare that I’ve encountered with Home Depot’s terrible customer service. Over the past several months, we’ve spent over $11,000 on a remodeling project which has included a kitchen remodel for our rental home through Home Depot. In June, I met with the kitchen designer at my local store. I stopped by to inquire about doing a kitchen remodel. From the outset and as she did multiple times throughout the process, she told me that she didn’t have a lot of time to talk to me and that she was very busy. The kitchen cabinets are installed by a different company who installs the countertops and a different company who installs the backsplash (which are ordered through the flooring department). Each different project requires two on-site measurements by a person who is different from the installer. Every time you place an order in the store, they process the order as an “online” order so that you are forced to baby-sit the order and they aren’t accountable. I was told to call the 1-800 online order customer service if I had any problems. The cabinet order was a complete nightmare. Some items had to be delivered to the house whereas some items had to be sent directly to the store and I had to pick them up and then deliver them to our rental house. Even though the cabinets I ordered are a stock item, one of the main cabinets was not available and although the kitchen designer set up a notification for both she and I to find out when it was available, we both never received notice. She happened to randomly look online one day and the necessary cabinet was available. At one point, I picked up 5 items in the store but the employee who released them to me accidentally marked only 3 items as having been picked up. Since I had dropped them off at our rental house, I didn’t realize that we had them and spent close to an hour with customer service who called a manager at the local store who mistakenly told the customer service rep that the items had not been picked up because they arrived at the store after we had picked up the initial items. For the largest cabinet delivery, I paid for “threshold” delivery which means they take the items in to the house. My items were scheduled to arrive on one of two dates. Approximately 1 ½ weeks earlier than the scheduled date, I get a phone call and a text from the delivery company. They told me that they’re close to the house and are going to make the delivery. Since the house is 45 minutes in traffic from my residence and because the house is empty, I asked him to use the key in a lockbox in order to make the delivery. Instead of delivering the items into our house, they dumped a palate still wrapped in plastic into our garage. There was a visibly damaged cabinet and someone had taken part of a broken cabinet and shoved it under the box. This was the first of many delays throughout the project. We had to order a new cabinet which delayed installation. One of the kitchen cabinet doors was damaged and it had to be re-ordered. The next delay was due to the inability of our appliances to be delivered/installed.The under cabinet mounted microwave couldn’t be delivered because the backsplash install had not yet been completed and there was tile in the way. The dishwasher couldn’t be installed because Home Depot’s partner plumbing company had not properly completed the sink re-connect install that I paid for. The backsplash installers no-showed for their appointment and I was told by the install manager that the crew got food poisoning over the weekend. One of the final insults happened yesterday evening on the second appliance installation appointment when the dishwasher could not be installed because it will not fit in the cabinet. I am still waiting for this to be resolved and have yet again had to delay listing the house for sale which is causing us to lose money.

Not to mention Sandra you guys manager is the worst and to be honest whoever gave Sandra The title of being a manager needs to train her a bit more on customer service as well as making sure the customer feels like the problem is getting resolved or that she even cares!!!!! She didnt apologize for any type of experience and only gave me the number and said okay is that all I needed.... Hope somebody reaches out to me if not I will take this a whole other direction with legal matters!!! Ashley went above and beyond helping me today! She showed some of the best work ethic I’ve ever seen.I hardly ever visit a Hardware store which means I don’t know much more than the average person. I came into Ashley’s aisle (Hardware) looking for something I didn’t know the technical details or size of, and I just word-vomited this nonsense to Ashley and she hit the ground runnin’!She translated the gibberish I told her, found the perfect size and specific screws I needed, and was overall friendly and informative with the perfect amount of urgency!! She saved me 30 or more mins when I was in a rush, taught me about the boards in the aisles that help you find the correct screw size and to the screws I needed. I interrupted her while she was in the middle of some intense task she was working on, WHILE she was up a ladder. I work in a warehouse and I also use these ladders and I know how that feels. She came right down the ladder, didn’t hesitate to think about not helping me. While she was helping me look for my screws, which thankfully she 100% did for me, she found several items out of place. In other stores, 99/100 I see employees, at any other stores, just leave the item in the incorrect place. But she didn’t, and when she was finding mistakenly placed items, she didn’t slow my request down at all. On a good day, if it were me in Ashley’s shoes, it would have taken 5-10 minutes just to remember what I was doing before being interrupted by a customer while doing something.Ashley is the type of employee I’d like to hire, to work with, and to work for! Can’t express enough how extraordinary this overall customer service was compared to any store I visit.

It’s layout is bizarre (3 rows of aisles) but in north Austin proper it’s where you go. Always busy. Watch out for pedestrian traffic as they don’t get much room to walk. Lock your doors.

Love this place. Went in to get a few plants for my new place to liven it up. As I was strolling through Lawn & Garden section, a security had tracked down a shoplifter and had him empty the items taken and apologized for causing a scene, as it startled me. Other than that, great store and location. Parking is somewhat of a challenge but its everyones favorite home store so its expected to be a crowded lot.
