During the spring storms, we had a section of our fence split at the ground line and fall down. After temporarily fixing it ourselves, it was clear we needed to at minimum repair the section that blew over. I called three different fence companies in the area to receive estimates for both the partial repair to our fence line and a full fence line replacement. Jesse with Viking Fence was the quickest to respond and by far the most professional. During the bid process, he was very respectful of the decision my husband and I were trying to make cost-wise and did not press to find out details about the other bids or pressure us to commit to a scope bigger than we wanted. He was able to do an estimate virtually using pictures and survey information / measurements, which was really convenient for us. He gave us several options to consider regarding a partial repair vs. a full replacement and did not pressure us to make our decision on the spot. We ended up going with the partial repair to our fence line and we never felt judged or pressed to upgrade our service. Truly, Jesses kindness and professionalism were why we initially decided to select Viking over the other companies and I am so glad we did.Jesse and Lupe, his crew leader, were able to deploy service within a week of our commitment. Not only was Jesse extremely communicative in helping set expectations with both myself and my husband by calling us before our scheduled day of work to review scope, but he showed up the morning of the service in person to review the job again and make sure Lupe had everything he needed for the day. I also loved how highly Jesse spoke of Lupe and his work, even before the job began. He had nothing but kind things to say about Lupe and the working relationship they had, which was a huge encouragement to us to not only have someone come to our house that was thought so highly of but that Jesse took the time to lift up his team in such a positive way. It always feels good to work with good, kind-hearted people and I am so glad we got to work with Jesse and Lupe!Lupe worked quickly and diligently and he left no trace of trash or debris after he left. I dont know that the craftsmanship of fence repair and replacement often gets acknowledged, but we truly felt we received an A+ job. Lupe even screwed in a few loose boards free of charge in a different area of our fence line just because he noticed it - to me, that is above and beyond. Our fence is absolutely beautiful and I have no doubt that Lupes work is amazing no matter the size of the project. We only had a 25 section repaired and I felt we got the same service as someone who gets their whole fence line replaced, which is not what I have read about other companies in the area. Jesse had said from the beginning that he would only recommend and deploy service that would be good enough for his family, and we truly felt that was the service we received. After the project was complete, Jesse followed up with me the same day to make sure we were satisfied. I cannot express how kind, personable, and professional he was during the entire process. We will absolutely be contacting Jesse and Lupe in the future as we look to replace our remaining fence line.

Viking built me the fence of a lifetime! I worked with Noel, who came out several times over the course of several months of me thinking about how I wanted the fence to look. I struggled with how high to go and where exactly to place the fence. He gave me great suggestions about how to deal with trees, the neighbors property line, visibility, etc. He gave me options about top rail, wood vs steel poles vs steel square posts, options for staining, etc. He also suggested metal gates with square poles on each side, which basically guarantees a lifetime of properly functioning, no-sag gates.I was very particular about the top, wanting a straight line all the way around, despite a slightly sloped yard. Once Salomon and his crew started, they first put the line around at the minimum height we wanted, and we realized that it didnt make sense to have that straight line. Instead we went up a board a few times as the yard sloped, and they worked with me on the particulars of that, including how to plan around the gates. I had to talk to Salomon many times along the way with my questions and requests, and he was always great to work with.Noel also provided great advice about how to protect my pool, which city code requires things like opening gates a certain way and minimum heights of handles. These could have led to expensive modifications if not done right. We also opted for a nice locking handle on the metal gates, with the ability to lock the rarely used wooden gate in the back with a simple clasp. This gives us the ability to leave for trips and lock down the property. And they came up with a clever gate to hide my pool equipment off on the side of the garage, with a nice french opening to prevent sag on an extra wide opening, without having to use the more expensive metal gate.The crew came on time, were not disruptive to us during their work (and even built the new fence around the old fence to keep the pool safe during construction!), and cleaned up after themselves.I would definitely recommend Viking Fence for the quality of their work, payment flexibility, communication, and willingness to work with me on a fence that really takes my house and property to another level.

Fence looks great. Good communication from start to finish. Crew did a great job letting us know when they would be there and what they were doing. Took 5 days to install a residential fence 275’ and 8’ to 6’ high. They were a bit on the high side of the quotes I received but they have good reviews for a reason and communicated gets and answered all my questions. I would use them again

I am very pleased with the work done to replace my existing fence. Steveprovided a comprehensive estimate, answered all my questions, and was very prompt and efficient in the process. The bid was very reasonable and even lower than others who were providing estimates using lower quality materials. Steve gladly provided a separate quote for the section of fencing that borders my neighbors yard at my request. Oscar and his helper completed the entire project in less than two days and I now have a beautiful new fence that has already garnered many compliments from my neighbors. The entire process was simple and painless, and I would gladly recommend Viking to anyone needing fencing. As the need arises, I plan to use them for future projects.

Extremely unprofessional company. We were almost run over while we were walking by a company representative. When we told him he almost hit us, he verbally attacked us and cussed at us in front of an elderly customer he was providing a quote for. He then made extremely rude comments towards my wife and aggressively turned to walk towards her. I stepped in front to protect my wife and he assaulted me and tried to provoke me to retaliate and into a confrontation but I refused. Police were called and a report was made. We tried to speak to the company but the manager was condescending and told us that he had hired the representative and he had a clean record so that is all that mattered to him. We later spoke again and he stated that if we wanted to hire an attorney to hire one and then have them contact his companys attorney. He said the owner of the company would also call us but we never received a call, then later said he was only the messenger and the Owner would not be calling. WE chose not to pursue criminal charges against this companies representative even though I received a laceration that required medical attention. But we also figured this company would have the decency to take a stand against these kind of actions by its employees, If you look at the reviews you will notice that Vikings representatives have also almost ran over other people. Instead of condone violence by its employees. Not sure why they would tolerate such behavior as they stress they are a family friendly company. I would not recommend using them or allowing them to be near your loved ones out of safety and concern for how they act in public. Id figure any person including the owner of this company would do the same and defend their wife from being attacked in such a way.

We recently replaced wooden and chainlink fences with Viking. They did an exceptional job installing a new 7 tall wooden fence with cap, and 6 tall iron fence with gates. Ditmas and his brother showed up on time, were easy to communicate with, and worked hard and quickly. The fence is beautiful. Dan, the estimator and foreman, was responsive and pleasant to work with. We are very satisfied customers.

Ruben Pedraza is one of the best fabricators and installers Ive worked with. He went out of his way to get the details on our job right, was very easy to work with, and always left our patio as clean as he found it. People make the difference between a good job and a great one, and Ruben made our job great!

They are courteous, pleasant, and very hard workers who provide top quality results. The mostly two man crew built over 170 feet of new cedar fencing in just two days. They even went above and beyond to fix one of our backyard gates that had been stuck for almost a year! This had not been included in our fencing proposal so it was very kind and generous of them to do this. We definitely want to use the above team for any future fencing work.

I needed a 20 Piece of Iron Fence Moved, with a larger 70 span of new fencing attached, and refitting an antique gate from Ireland into the mix.These guys never flinched. We had your typical cheap, poorly installed fence when we bought our house 6 years ago. The gates were terrible. Brett designed custom metal framed gates that will never come down. Finished out with beautifully milled wood. His crew was on time, professional and installed the best gates!

We just had our backyard fence replaced/significantly expanded and absolutely love the final result.We got quotes from a few different contractors that all landed in a similar ballpark, and decided to go with Viking because of their extra-sturdy 3/4in thick pickets (the norm is 1/2 inch), the beautiful coloring of their red cedar, the professionalism of the project manager Kody Kimbrel, and the fact that Viking is bonded.Kody walked the property with us and helped us map out a specific plan, and then got a quote to us within a few days. He was friendly, helpful, knowledgable, and able to clearly lay out the considerations and world of options we had to achieve our goals. We even got a custom pergola-topped gate, and were able to do so by simply sending over a photo of what we wanted and agreeing on a very reasonable price for that fun custom add-on.Once we signed the project contract we had to wait ~2 months to get started thanks to the supply issues plaguing the world at large. I dont hold this against them at all, but if you are reading this in the near future expect a similar wait.After ~2 months Kody emailed us letting us know they had our projects supplies in and could start the project once the builder he wanted to put on the project specifically for the custom pergola (an attention to putting the right person on the right project that I really appreciated) recovered from an injury he had received the previous day.After waiting a week for the guy to recover (which was completely fine - Kody spoke with us directly and clearly about whether we wanted to wait or have a different builder put on the project) the poor guys injury was persisting so we got a different builder - Rafael Sanchez.At this point we were told the project would start on the following Monday, but unfortunately there were more delays as an earlier project ran into several days of unexpected issues. Kody spoke with us each day and clearly explained the causes for the delays and was very apologetic. Thankfully my wife and I work from home so it wasnt a problem, though if we had more strict schedules it certainly would have been.All the same the project started that Thursday and continued on Friday, Saturday, and Monday. It was just Rafael and one other guy, and they were super speedy. On day one they tore down most of the old fence, but were considerate enough to leave our old street-side fence up until they built the new street-side fence behind it to maintain some semblance of yard privacy, which we appreciated.The build process was smooth enough, and the quality of work was exceptional. The only hiccup was that there was a miscommunication about the type of fencing we were doing on one side, which we thankfully noticed before they got too far. My wife and I both heard Kody clearly specify to Rafael the proper type of fencing at the beginning of the project, so it was on Rafael, but the issue was handled so no harm no foul.It does however probably speak to a need for more clearly laid out plans before work begins, as it appeared that Rafael was working purely off of a description of the project, which is a problem considering there was a moderate English-Spanish language barrier. He didnt seem to have any diagrams of the work to be done, so I sketched one out for him.Other than that issue, Rafael was thoughtful about the project, and provided recommendations and input on decisions we had to make on-the-fly about how deal with the many different elevation grades on our property. Its a slanty, hilly mess, and they went above and beyond with an attention to detail that helped to hide our propertys uneven land.The end result thanks to his work is a beautiful fence that we love, and a significantly expanded yard space that they not only surrounded with a lovely fence, but improved the perceived grading of thanks to their thoroughness and workmanship.Overall the experience had a few warts (which admittedly would have been more problematic if we didnt work from home), but the finished product is awesome, so 4 stars.

We needed a portion of our fence replaced. Brett gave us a quote quickly and kept us informed of the status of our pre-stained fence and date of the install. Edgar and crew did a wonderful job installing the fence. They worked through the rain to ensure it would be up as quickly as possible.

With all the home work being done during the pandemic, it was hard to get a quote on my fence job, much less actually get it completed! Brett came out and provided me with a quote on my job fairly soon after I requested one. He was honest and upfront with regard to the timing of when the job would be completed given the current backlog of requests. In truth, my job was completed prior to me getting a quote from one of the companies I contacted! When it came to installing the fence, Edgar and his team were able to finish my job in one day (it was a long day)! The fence turned out great - metal posts and three stringers, including an uphill run that went up a retaining wall. I have used Viking in the past and they demonstrated the same professionalism and quality workmanship I expected from my previous experience with them. I will be calling them again whenever I need fencing.

If you want a fence company that delivers with no excuses Viking Fence is by far the best. I made an appointment with Gil for reconfiguring and repairing a fence. Not only did he show up on time but also gave me a great price. On the day of the project Gil and his crew started early but rain stopped their progress so they returned the very next day and finished the job. They also removed the old fence and made a few more improvements I hadnt thought of. He also texted me photos upon completion. Viking Fence has all my business from now on.

Recently had 250 x 8 foot privacy fence installed. Steve Mendivil was the initial contact person and provided a very competitive estimate. He coordinated the purchase of lumber. The work crew was led by Luis Matos and they were great. They worked hard and produced a beautiful fence. Steve coordinated getting all the little punch list items done and was always available. I would not hesitate to recommend these gentlemen at Viking.

For my horizontal wood fence, Viking proved to be the best choice in price and quality. They use the best materials to ensure longevity and aesthetics. There are other companies that quoted lower but were willing to use lesser materials that wouldnt have lasted as long just to make the quote look cheaper. For what we got, Viking was the best deal. The installers workmanship and attention to detail is excellent.

We got a new fence and the whole process was great and the fence is incredibly well done and gets amazing comments. Wally from the fence side and Stanley from the gate operation were great to work with.

We are using them for our condo complex to add new gates with codes. It has taken quite a few months and not all of the gates work still. They are also not to the quality I would expect. They have had to come back multiple times to repair the gates and they still do not all work. They are somewhat responsive, but it is sad that it has taken this long and couldn’t be done right the first or even second time.

Viking installed a 7ft+ cedar fence with pickets horizontally and with trims at the top and one every post. The material was excellent quality and installation was very well done. Employees were diligent and ask me questions to ensure work was done to my satisfaction and provided alternatives. Additionally, I have used Viking to get my cedar posts and pickets for other work I have done. I find that their material is the best quality around and the very best pricing. Without hesitation this is my place to go for fences. In fact I am heading there right now to purchase material.

Pictures of their work will speak for itself. For the price I paid, would have expected much better job. Entire sections missing nails, warped wood after a month, and cracking in other sections. Be very very careful with their hard digging fee. it seems to vary depending on crew. First crew I had out didnt charge for one hole, next crew said every hole required a jack hammer that requires 25.00 payment for each hole. Also be sure to read the fine print - they dont have line locators come out and state they are not responsible for tearing up utilities.

I received a quote for a project. I wanted to proceed ASAP, but had a few questions before we started. I contacted the project manager multiple times via phone and email and never heard back. I contacted the office and asked to speak to someone else since he was not responsive, but was told only this project manager can talk to me and will contact me. Never heard back from anyone. I guess they are not interested in our business.

After being ghosted by another fence company, I decided to get more quotes and Viking had the best combo of price, quality, and professionalism. Because of current conditions, it took a little longer to get the fence installed but anytime I had a question, Kody was very quick to respond and very professional. When they came to install it, Fernando, came out and made sure we were on the same page with the install, even wearing a mask. I would definitely recommend them for any fencing needs.

Gave me picket fence wood from all the left over and bad stack. They didnt even give the right amount. The forklift chubby guy was rude. Told me not to return to their store. Dont waste your time at viking fence

They never answer their phone and when they do they say theyll get back to you and never do. I tried numerous times.

This is the second time we used Viking fence. We had to replace two gates when we moved into our house seven years ago, and we used them recently to replace the back fence. Two different project managers and crew but same great service. We opted for the steel posts and horizontal slats. It looks so good.Brett, our small job estimator and project manager, was very professional and responsive by phone and text. He kept us informed every step of the way. Pedro, our crew lead, actually had to do the entire job by himself because his associate was unable to make it to work. I was surprised how fast and precise he worked. He arrived at 10am removing the old fence and digging holes for the new posts. By 7pm he was loading his truck with all the old fence panels.If you need a fence that you and your neighbors will be proud of, I recommend Viking Fence.

Brett was the project manager and Pedro did the install. They replaced a section of very old, rotten fence. The new fence and gate is beautiful! Pedro worked all day to build the new fence using quality materials. Upon Brett’s suggestion he also put rolled wire fencing along the bottom of my neighbor’s fence to restrict their dogs from getting into my yard. The backyard is much more secure now. Thanks to a great team. I will definitely use Viking Fence again for future needs!

The worst fence supplier companyI bought 400 cedar pickets to install fence to my customer and I got 370 of wood trash even I wouldn’t use it for mulch and when return back they replaced with another trash, the pickets all broken or has big holes that your dog can go into.On end I bought another pickets from another company and I paid like $1000 more from my pocket because they don’t return.Don’t buy waste your money with them.

Project manager, Brett showed up on time and gave me three choices of red cedar fencing at reasonable pricing. The crew leader, Pedro completed our job in record time and with amazing workmanship. Much thanks.

I called in July to get a wood gate with some metal posts. I paid 1k down. I was told Brett would get me on the schedule. I had to call a week after asking when I could get on the schedule. I was told they had a cedar shortage. They didnt tell me this upfront. November and I still dont have what I ordered, and now Im not getting any email response. Do you guys have cedar yet? If I cant get what I ordered by the end of the month, I want my 1k back.11/9/20 - I am updating my review from 1 star to 3 stars for now as I was told today that they have some material and are reserving my order. Ive scheduled the install for December 1st. I will change my review accordingly.

Frank was on time for the estimate, pricing was the best quote we got, and Frank kept me updated through the process. He walked his crew through the project personally which assured me it’d get done right. Jose and his crew did a great job, and when a water sprinkler issue came up they took the time to fix it. Pedro did a good job in removing the old wooden fence and installing the new metal fence. I had also ask them to fix a couple of small items on my existing metal fencing which they did. We had a slight bit of confusion about a 2nd gate but that was quickly sorted out and the gate was installed as expected. I recommend Viking Fence without hesitation.

This is an excellent company! We took several bids for a small (14 span, 5 high) chain-link fence on our property. While there were lower bids, we decided to go with Viking due to the companys stellar reputation, the quality of our meeting with (manager) Brett and the confidence that he inspired. We were equally impressed with (builder) Pedros precision, professionalism and skill. The final product is exactly what we had in-mind and we couldnt be happier.

After doing quite a bit of research for our pool fence, we asked Viking to come out to quote. Met with Frank who spent time explaining all of our options. We really liked the product that he showed us, and after receiving the final quote, we selected Viking to do the fence. Frank kept in touch with us as we had some delays with the pool construction, but he accommodated that without issue. When the time came, Jorge and another team member completed the install in two days (ahead of schedule). Both Frank and Jorge were very easy to work with, and respectful of our time and property. Really happy with the work done and the finished fence. Would not hesitate in recommending Viking.

Viking Fence recently replaced a fence they had installed twelve years earlier. The new cedar fence is beautiful and was put up in a timely and professional manner by Jorge and his assistant (dont know his name, unfortunately). Omar and Frank were fantastic. The guys were punctual and very thorough. They did a great job. Im happy I went with Viking! I had my entire backyard fenced. The old posts were hard to get out. They did a great job taking the extra efforts to get the old posts out.Update 2/17----Please be aware if your yard is not level, Viking does not align at the bottom. When I asked the to come back out, I was told they assembled sections before installing. I had another person come out for different work on my house and they immediately commented on this as I have space a t the bottom. This is very disappointing for such a reputable company. There was no mention at the time of estimate this would be an issue. Now my option is to spend more money on landscaping to hide the space at the bottom.

Working with Brett and Pedro was a pleasure!I recieved a call from Brett to schedule an estimate quickly and likewise the estimate quote with two options to choose from.On the scheduled install day, Pedro and Brett did a walkthrough with me to be clear with the details. During, the install Pedro answered my questions and asked me to look at the work (particularly the gates) to see if there was any I needed adjusted from what I originally thought. This was great even though I had no changes.Pedro cleaned up the areas (I had three not-connected fence areas installed) as he went along and double checked once fully completed.I am happy with the installation, the workmanship and the total turn around time.

We had the pleasure of working with 2 very fine gentlemen from Viking a few months ago. Dan and Bill were both men that I worked with on getting quotes and talking to them about what I was needing for our fence. Bill eventually became the project manager.I had initially found Viking on Google and decided to go with them, because of the high reviews that I saw. I wanted a high quality fence that would look nice and be extremely private. They both assured me that I would be happy. I think I got an excellent price for what I got.I dont remember the names of the 2 installers but I think they are the best fence makers in the country. Seriously. They did a FANTASTIC job.3 months later, Im very happy. Neighbors stop me all the time and tell me how great my fence looks. Our next door neighbor also used Viking after our recommendation.I feel like I made the best decision, by far, to use Viking Fence. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

We recently had our old fence torn down and a new one installed by Viking Fence. The entire experience from initial estimate to final construction was fantastic. We inquired about a number of different styles of fence and therefore needed a number of different estimates. Each time we had a new request it was taken care of promptly and clearly. The gentleman that installed the fence were complete craftsman. It was not an easy install at all. Our yard presented a number of challenges including trees and bushes to work around and a variety of elevation changes. They conferred with us each step of the way, multiple times a day to see exactly how we wanted it done. The way they made it all work was amazing, and the finished product looks great. We have had a number of neighbors ask where we had it done and complimented us on how great it looks.We did get lower estimates from a couple of other local companies but I took the time to go look at some fences from all of them that were a few years old and going with Viking was well worth it. We highly recommend them.

I canceled lunch plans and gave up a portion of my afternoon for a 1:00 estimate and the guy calls me at 12:30 and asks me to come out the next day because he is still working on another project. I know the quote is free, but I cant afford to give up another day so I hope I can find another company who will respect my time as being important.
