I needed the new adapter for iPhone 13s charging cable. Quick in and out. They are super organized and it just took me may 2 mins to get inside, grab the adapter, pay then via apple wallet and leave.
Great location. The stuffs are super friendly. They have all the updated devices. Near the park, so you can bring your kids there to check the new devices and have fun - one stone kills two birds.
If I could give half star I would.. this store turns down customers to enter the store where you need a mask.. understandable.. but then they can’t help you outside when you tell them you won’t abide by their communist mandates.. I’m extremely impressed of all the sheep I’ve witnessed today at this store.. I’ll definitely not b purchasing any other apple products ever again.. this kinda store should be allowed in Texas .. apple you preach about environment n humanity, but yet your handing out masks that end up all over the streets where nobody even attempted to pick up.. sorry for this negative message but you need it apple ..
❌🤬❌ If it was possible to put a negative value, then I would put a minus. To save my time, I made an appointment at 11.30. Arrived 5 minutes early. As a result, already 30 minutes have passed from the appointed time and there is still no specialist. Im very upset because Im trying to save my time and your company doesnt respect me!
One of my favorite Apple Stores. Every time I go in needing help with something, 95% of their associates are incredibly helpful and friendly. Customer Service is superb and the store is always spotless, of course.
Great experience!! I walked in today to look at & buy a iPad Pro. It was busy, but the staff quickly sorted the line & took care of everyone. Russ helped me & was awesome! I had a lot of questions & took my time. He was great about answering everything and really helped me talk through my purchases. I really appreciate great customer service these days, Russ gets all the stars! 🙌
Apple may think this sales concept is great, but I disagree.
I had an extremely terrible experience at the Apple store at Domain today . I purchased two pairs of AirPods for my kids from the Amazon Apple store. When I received them, one of the pair of airpods was not working. I made an appointment with this branch the same day at 6, and when I got there and began discussing it with an employee, he proceeded to embarrass me in front of everyone in a loud voice and repeat over and over that they were fake, although I showed him the purchase invoice and the link from Amazon. He continued for 45 minutes that it is fake, I asked for a manager and he explained that the manager will tell me the same thing. I insisted on bringing the manager over and he confirmed it was in fact real, and that the employee was new. After being humiliated in front of everyone, and because I have a heavy accent, I felt like he assumed that I was trying to con him. The store manager Jon was not any better. He basically said he couldnt help me. I literally just purchased them and they wanted to try to fix it. I plan to take this to corporate. I am a regular Apple customer and purchase all of their products. I have never been treated this way anywhere before.
Apple store is not what it used to be. Ordered and paid unlocked 13 pro and just needing to pick up. But was not allow to pick cause I’m 1hr early. Was told they only will allow 5min early. You have employees standing around chatting, it literally takes like 5min to go get it from the back. Not coming back, you can sit on it for 14days. You are selling a phone not the cure to an illness.
I like the store. Service was not bad. They didn’t have the phone I wanted and lots of other stuff out of stock. Car parking system is not good, I had to walk a long way to reach the store after parking far from the store.
So nice and helpful! Helped me with my phone issues in a super courteous and intelligent manner! Also helped me get some AirPods that’s I’m thoroughly enjoying!
I had liquid damage in my MacBook Air. I worked with a wonderful guy named Shawn. He was very helpful, engaging, and just all around awesome to talk to. He put me at ease with direct and comprehensive service. If I need anything else, I’ll prolly drive 1hr 15 here again. I also received my device back in 4 days. That was the best. Thanks
Quick service, parking garage right around the corner. Just very expensive to repair what I needed.
Great location with helpful staff. They are always willing to help you find a solution even if it isnt one in store..
BEWARE APPLE PRODUCT LOVERS!If you like apple products as much as I used to (I own two iPads, 2 apple watches, 4 MacBook pros, an Apple TV 4K, and countless generations of the iPhone) Once an iPhone has been opened for repair as my iPhone XS was, it is no longer water resistant whatsoever. I brought my phone in a month ago to replace the rear camera. Since then the device was briefly exposed to water (2 minutes) and the phone with a resale value of $700 was completely destroyed, so I (conveniently for Apple) had to purchase a new one. Keep in mind this model of phone claims to be water resistant up to two meters for 30 minutes. Upon brining it back to the Apple store they explained that there was virtually no way to verify that the phone was resealed properly after the camera repair and that they therefore couldnt do anything. I feel it is my responsibility to make other customers considering getting their devices repaired aware of this situation. This product support and service is completely unacceptable and I can say that this will be the last Apple product I ever purchase which is such a shame because the Apple ecosystem has served me well for many years. I however refuse to be taken advantage of by hardware oriented company who refuses to stand by the claims about the durability of their hardware. It appears Apple has become greedy at the expense of the customer experience and it is sad to see such a great company take this turn for the worst.
Best apple store in Austin. Great location, big store footprint with lots of options. Always had a pleasant experience here.
Worst customer service experience. I went in to repair my iPhone screen and came out in tears. I told sales associate, Noelle, that I wanted to use my gift card and she walked me through the process of redeeming it which included her having me to download the Apple Store app, but instead of being able to use immediately in store, it was added to my online Apple Store account. She got her manager to come over to try to reverse what happened. At first Noelle said I misunderstood what she said and redeemed it myself and then the manager said that Noelle wasnt even around when I redeemed it. Furthermore, she said that not all her sales associates are not familiar with all the different kinds of gift cards Apple issues. So instead of getting an apology from Noelle or management for horrible customer service, I was called a liar and blamed for this fiasco.
I scheduled a time for service, informed them the battery was swelling (fire hazard, unfortunately out of warranty and not covered by recall). When I arrived, they said they didnt have the part, even though I told them before hand and stopped by before my reservation to talk with them. During my scheduled visit, they were more interested in selling me a new Mac rather than fix the $2000 one I already have. Replacement battery would take 5 days to arrive. When it did arrive, I needed my Mac for work so couldnt leave it there for a week. They would only hold the battery for a few days, so now I have to go through the process all over again.
Save yourself time and make an appointment!Right now with the current situation, there’s a queue to enter. If you have an appointment, you get to join it. But if you don’t, you may be turned away.Once you get inside, it’s pretty quick. They’re very attentive and knowledgeable as usual.I love browsing Apple products, but I may have to do that online for now just so I don’t take up time for others.
Not sure why this store confuses me. Don’t get wrong I like the customer service.
The one and only Apple store in greater Austin area. Apple store is like any other Apple store. Had to go thru 3 step to pick up a phone. Seems like organized but at the same time chaotic. Most of the product is out of stock but people still go there for what ? Extremely overpriced cases and charging cables ?May be it’s just me being cranky……
Genius Bar lies to you about placing replacements in order to get you out the store. Go to Barton instead
As a loyal Apple customer visiting the Domain NORTHSIDE store has been a disappointment to say the least! I received poor customer service by Andreace (Senior Manager) who rudely dismissed my concerns re: having my laptop fixed and displayed a complete lack of compassion for my situation. It is extremely difficult for me as a nurse to make it to the store during business hours, which I expressed. Irrespective, she said that I would have to come back in a couple of days to show someone that there is a crack on my screen (basically spend one minute with them) so they can then look at my laptop. Given I have paid $250 for apple care and been with apple for a while, I am re-considering my future electronic decisions with any Apple product. I stayed in this store for 10 minutes and was approached by 3 different staff members offering assistance to buy a new apple product. Poor priorities!!
The Apple Store is the absolute worst for business accounts and Verizon has the worst business reps. I made an appointment withe the Genius Bar and even though we had all of the proof of ownership for a device that we purchased two years ago. Apple and the carriers are incapable of coordinating with each other and I have been sitting here for an hour despite the appointment... and they wonder why many businesses despise their products.
Always make an appointment. Even for just shopping. Even if they are not busy, they will not help u if u need the Genius Bar. Which is why I am rating this poorly. The tech was talking in a group of 4 literally with arms crossed after I was told they were too busy. I persuaded an employee to just ask him a simple question to see if it was worth coming back to repair a MacBook or not, reluctantly they agreed. I also came to buy an iPad, and turns out, it is better to make an appointment even for that. I have been to many Apple Stores, and I have to say, this is the only one were staff were not as friendly. I only write reviews when people should be aware of what to expect. So don’t expect much, unless you make an appointment, if you do, I have to admit, it’s another ball game. Walk-ins, stay away, and make an appointment…
I was able to get in and out of the store with what I needed. Helpful staff as well. The only real drawback was that I, basically, had to set an appointment to go to a store…
I came in today to buy my mother a new phone and I was amazed by the customer service and kindness! I was in and out in 10 minutes! I wish I couldve remembered the name of the employee that helped me. He was an absolute pleasure to work with! I am definitely going to be buying some Apple stock. Thanks again!
In and out since I set up my appt online and the person who helped was so great!
There is nothing about the Apple store that I don’t love. Apple is extremely innovative and it even shows when you walk up to the building. I love it so much I have an Apple logo tattoo. This location is always clean and very well put together as expected from Apple. Everyone is always very fast, helpful and nice as can be. Would recommend to anybody and everybody.
Might be a bit of a wait without an appointment, but they get to you in a timely manner. The employees are outstanding, helpful and polite
Apple Domain Northside gets a 5-star review only because my experience with Trevor was so great. He quickly helped my get my issues resolved and was very personable. Now if I was rating Apple’s customer service from the night before, 1-star is what I’d give. It was a waste of time and finally said I needed to schedule an appointment at The Domain. Good thing Trevor was there to assist. The store is always crazy with so many people inside.
We went to the Apple Store to add a line to my account and port over a phone number from AT&T. The rep ran the info and the system stated I needed to pay full price for the phone. He could not be bothered to follow up with Verizon to find out the issue. So, we went directly to Best Buy and Daisy at BestBuy did call Verizon to find out the issue. All it was - just needed the verify that it was me buying the phone. But the Apple store rep did not have time to help out us ...Apple does not know the meaning of customer service.
So this one was a roller coaster. Started out not great, was told the wait was gonna be 15 mins. That turned into about 40. Had my father not got up and inquired I feel we may still be sitting there. I now see how easy it is to become the disgruntled customer after short wait that seems to take forever. Luckily we had “Keaton” whom unlike the 2-3 associates on the floor not doing anything he was proactive, patient, professional and polite. He diagnosed our Apple TV in about 5-10 minutes, gave us options on whether to replaced it or not and had us on our way. I don’t usually leave reviews unless they’re negative but I must say Keaton saved the day.
Nothing like being treated like dirt by the employees. Called ahead to see if needed an appointment to exchange a phone on warranty, store said no over the phone. Show up and was rudely told an appointment was needed and would have to come back after an appointment. They didnt care that I was told by them that one wasnt needed. Nothing pleasant in their attitude, I guess I should be so sorry for inconveniencing you by speaking to you. No appointment no help, no smile, all attitude. Drove an hour and a half after called with Apple stores being few and far between after being told an appointment wasnt needed for the service I needed. Thanks Apple Store I hope some day I will feel worthy enough to be in your presence.
Too crowded. Could not get service. Helpers at the door dont make a difference. We went online to Best Buy ordered an apple tablet and by the time we arrived it was waiting for us. Never again will I step foot in this place.
One star is generous. They promised the replacement battery for my MacBook would be in no later than today. When I called to check on the status, their automated system turfed me over to corporate customer service. The agent I spoke to said he needed to transfer me to the store (shocking), but rather than do that, he simply came back on the line and told me that the folks at the store had simply said they had no idea when my battery would be in and no way to find out. When I had follow-up questions and asked again to be transferred to the store, he put me on hold for thirty minutes and then disconnected the call. Nevermind the failure to deliver on their promise of getting my battery in quickly; for a retail store to make it impossible for customers to contact them is an utter failure in customer service, and I am shocked that they think this is an acceptable way to do business.
Great place I just bought a new phone there Andy is the guy u want attending to u he gave me in details all I need to know and spoke to me nice. On like the other guy who spoke to me like he will rather be somewhere else than having a conversation.
Wow. Worst customer service experience in a long time. My order wasn’t ready for pickup even though I had a confirmation it was. Asked for a manager, his name was Kyle. He spoke down to me, “mansplaining” that online Apple and in store Apple are different entities. “Do you understand that mam? Let me break it down for you”. What a disgusting person. Even when I called him on it, he got worse. Buy online and avoid this store. Disgusting
Perfectly working computer, AppleCare instructions led to my computer locking up, this place cant fix it either. Now i have a problem I didnt have before. Thanks Apple, if I could rate this negative 5, I would. Third parties fix Mac better than these people
Glad that I could pick up my order quickly after i made a appointment with
This was a ridiculous experience. I went in just before 2pm, intending to buy an iPad, AirPods, an Apple pencil and a magic keyboard. I was greeted by an apple employee at the entrance, which was great, I told him I didnt have an appointment and he tried to look for someone to help me. Apparently there was no-one around to help, even though I counted eight employees standing around the front. Eventually, I was told to go to the iPad table and someone would come to me. I started looking at the iPads (I was trying to decide between an air and a pro), and figured its no problem to wait a little bit since I didnt have an appointment. I waited an hour at that table, and in that time three Apple employees came up and helped people who had come to the table after I got there. One of the employees even asked if I was waiting, said hed be with us in a minute, then immediately turned around and helped the person behind him.I left that store empty handed. I dont believe the employees get commission, but I was no longer interested in becoming somebodys sales metric. I went home and bought my products online. Who knows, if I had stayed I probably couldve been convinced into buying the pro instead of the air and upgrading my accessories or buying other things - I was really wanting to spend some money that day, and all I needed was someone to tell me to go for it.But alas, not only did Apple make less money from me, but the store itself did not benefit from my purchase either. And for the lack of service I received, thats okay with me.
Came in the store to buy an iphone. I was put on a wait list. There were 9 Apple employees standing around doing nothing. After waiting 10 minutes, I was asked to wait another 7 minutes. One of the most useless sales team Ive seen. Funny thing is I have a Samsung Galaxy phone and was thinking about switching to an iPhone. It was going to be an easy sale.
We came to Apple store in North Austin Ti fix my phone speaker. We met Mr Samuel take care us very friendly and very very good skill of service. Thanks a lot for your service Samuel!
Extremely well organized and all employees wearing masks! 👍
Excellent service, been coming here as my main Apple store. Sometimes waits are a bit long but everything would get handled.
AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!!We went in due to a problem with my husband’s iphone 11 facial ID not working correctly, since we had apple care we were looking for a replacement. The authorized repair center in waco couldn’t replace his phone since they were out of stock and it would take 7-14 days or longer to get a new one.We met with Hilary at the store and explained the steps we had taken to get it replaced. She could see the information in the system but unfortunately they were also out of stock on the iPhone 11. She advised the option we had with our Apple care express where we could call Apple directly and they would send a new iPhone 11 to us and then we would ship the broken phone back, however the status of the iPhone 11 being on back order was still a challenge. We asked about upgrading to a 12 but since the phone was broken it was worth much less than if it was in good condition. She could have just ended it there and told us to contact Apple or come back but she didn’t. She spoke with her colleagues and came up with a very creative way to not only get us a new phone but with the full trade in value of our phone. Hilary went above and beyond to help us, she was kind and respectful of our situation and I cannot thank her enough. She put herself in our “shoes” and delivered stellar customer service. Thank you Hilary!!
I have an iPhone 12 mini and it is NOT water resistant 💦. All the ADs on TV will not tell you that. I took one photo by dipping the camera end into my pool and next day my Face ID stopped working. Later the display became very dark and so I had to get it replaced. I had to pay $399+tax for it. The reps showed me the fine print where it says that if the water splashes on the device at an angle of 18 degrees then it won’t work. 😤
I love Apple! Sometimes it is difficult to find someone to help because the store is always so busy! I think the pump drugs into the air the way all the people are just hanging around in the store. I guess they are using the WiFi I don’t know. But when you find someone to help they are very nice and helpful!
Much better experience than Barton Creek Apple store. Service here was quick.
CHANGING MY RATING... As it turns out, my previous experience does not reflect this location as a whole. Thank you Louie. You were so incredibly warm, welcoming, friendly, helpful and patient while assisting me this evening. I even felt bad for how long my problem took to resolve, yet you remained calm, reassuring and patient. God bless you.
Jeff is the greatest. Thanks to him, I got my iPad Pro and Apple pencil in record time. Kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. 👍🏻😎
Excellent service. I made an appointment and was in and out in 23 minutes with my new phone and it was all set up for me!
Nice store with a great selection of quality Apple products and friendly associates. As a family with multiple Mac products, several iPhones, iPads, multiple Apple watches, Air Pods we appreciate quality and don’t mind paying for it. After our son downloaded a software upgrade to his new MacBook Air it would no longer function on multiple monitors as it did before. We scheduled a time and drove to the domain, we were told to wait in the area, didn’t hear from them, drove back to Georgetown after lunch, finally heard from them, drove back and picked it up. We were told everything was checked out and the problem was resolved. We plugged it in at a working multiple monitor set up and discovered that it was not fixed. Whoever worked on it apparently didn’t even bother to plug it in or look at the extensive work order data All this after a previous multi hour call with Apple tech support in California. Not a old computer. Not an abused product.Problem not resolved but we will go back again as we really don’t have a choice.
Disappointed. Extremely poor handling of an appointment made online. I came on time, I was asked to stand in a long line that would have taken at least an hour to clear. I dont have that kind of time waiting in a long line in a pandemic. You clearly dont respect our time even after appointment is made and we show up on time. Must re-think your appointment system.
I bought a new phone and traded in my old phone. They did not activate my phone with my service properly, nor did they give me my sim card. I had to use apple support, which required two factor authentication and a number sent to my phone. Which I didnt have service for anymore. I could not transfer service to the new sim card that came inside of the new phone and the store could not give me my old phone sim card back.Extremely mad, extremely disappointed and I have been back and forth between verizon and apple for the last 6 hours on the phone to try to get service all because one of their employees messed up the whole process, at not one point but two points which could have avoided this whole thing. They dont even deserve 1 star.
It was nice exepience, the only drawback was - all this IPhones pro max 13 was sold out :-(
The staff really needs some training. It took 5 people and over 80 minutes to tend to something really straight forward!Disappointed.
What is the point of a retail store if they don’t leave any room for a person to walk in and buy a computer? I was just turned away from buying a new laptop because I needed go make a reservation for next week. All I needed was to be able to give someone my money. Why can’t there be a cashier to serve this simple purpose?
Id like to see the associates at least make an effort to fix the phone before saying this cant be fixed, heres how you can get a replacement. Its your phone which lost connectivity out of the blue, if you cant fix it then who can?
Great store has outstanding customer service.
Had to wait quite a while but they were able to help.
I got my pc from hereGreat place
Just awful service. Only Apple will take something simple and make it unnecessarily complicated.
Terrible customer service requiring someone to wear a mask. You’re not doctors.
Went there to change out some headphones my company bought me for a different color. They treated me like I stole the headphones. Terrible experience.
If I could I’d give them zero stars. Apple products are extremely frustrating, we know that. Between the phone slowing down, text message notifications not showing, unresponsive screens, low battery performance and so on, it is incredibly inconvenient for the lives of the users. However, this review is not about the spotty Apple products but instead their customer service. Their understanding and unwillingness to help is apparent here. A simple phone swap ended up taking over 2 hours (line time not included as they can’t do anything about that). They are not accommodating or look for a way to really help. They are much more comfortable saying “we can’t help you” than actually try to help their customer. This store should really serve as an example of what NOT to do.If you want to go to this store, do it at your own risk. Just know you might be waiting a long time and not have your issue resolved.
Sunny was awesome, first time i got treated nicely there. Thanks Sunny.
Good experience but make sure you make an appointment before, if at all possible.
Phenomenal customer service in a very busy bustling store!
I am never buying an Apple product again. I have been an Apple customer for 15 years or so when I got my first iPod in middle school. First, appointment means nothing to them. I waited over 45 minutes for a genius appointment. For context, the latest software update wont install on my computer because there isnt enough storage space. There are 40gigs of Other storage that I can not view or delete. Second, the person they directed me to did not know anything. She kept going to back to ask some other guy what to do. Turns out, the only solution is to download and sign up for some third party software I never heard of before. Worse, this software does let you delete anything in the free trial. So I have to pay to access files on my own computer.
Employees treat you very graciously and are very knowledgeable. Store is very nice. Didnt wait long and business was handled promptly.
Very BUSY! SUGGEST making an appointment
Very rude customer service. Waited over half an hour after my appointment time before being helped. Also, the “security” guy at the door takes his job way too seriously it’s comical.
I took my laptop in to have the keyboard looked at as a friend spilt a drink on it. They said they would try and clean it and it would take 24 hours. I got a call an hour later saying they would have to ship it off, making me feel like they didnt actually try to clean it. Picked it up and the keys felt worse, I decided to try to clean the keys myself since I work in ten. After a quick clean there was an instant improvement. It doesnt really matter as I omitted to to the spilt drink, but its annoying since it genuinely feels like they didnt try to clean it. They even told me they couldnt get the residue off, which I feel like is a lie as Ive had to scrub dried soda off of motherboards. It makes me trust them less. I would rather just go to a 3rd party from the get go at this point.Luke was amazing though! He was very sweet and kind. He explained everything very clearly and I appreciate it
Amazing customer service. Very helpful and fast response when called or if need assistance.
Gorgeous storefront, and its got this kind of beautifully crafted focus on the areas for each product where they are centered before a giant display-- that they said works with AirPlay mind you. It feels open and looks amazing. Cant wait to see how they incorporate the display into teaching and art seminars. As for the staff, Apple staff is Apple staff, its 5-star no matter where you go. We had a pick-up for an Apple Watch and were out the door in 5 minutes. Couldnt ask for more.
I try to order online but unable and call to customer support and talked 52 minute but they can’t solve the problem and I went store but the security who was woman with curly hair she not allowed to enter store since we have device choose already, I showed her code from customer support but she said scam.. she not trying to help and solve the problem..
Great place to walk around and enjoy the taste of Austin Texas
Walked in ready to buy an iPad for my wife. Stood around for 30 minutes. I went to ask up front for help and they told me I needed an appointment…..to buy something I’m store? What a joke. Could have at least told me when I walked in.
Took me 29 minutes to check out for an Apple Watch band. Had to talk to several, more than five, people in order to help me. They either told me that they were busy, don’t do checkout, or had no idea about the Apple Watch bands.
I greatly appreciated the customer service I received! David and Matt were very orderly, professional, and they helped us in a very timely matter! Came in for a screen repair and they did a fantastic job! I will be coming back if I need anything else! 🙂
Excellent customer service, clear, up front and very knowledgeable. The way theyre handing COVID precautions is amazing and fast.
I was in and out sooo quick💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
I came to the Apple store and was promptly by Sam, made an appointment through Apple. And I immediately got in at 12:30 which was my appointment! Once I got in I was greeted by Angel who was my technical expert, Angel not only helps me quickly and efficiently but also was very kind and knowledgeable about explaining to me my phone an d its process. BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! THANKS ANGEL AM THE SAMS!
Always crowded, however, quite hospitable! My father in law had an ambitious idea to surprise his wife for her birthday in the Apple store to catch her off guard. The manager told him - by all means, its your store too. They were eager to put the personalized artwork on the screen to add to the special moment. So accommodating and welcoming to make this a birthday to remember.
I dont know how they are normally but DO NOT trust them with your computer. I needed a simple battery repair, they told me they would ship it off for repairs and I would have it back in 3 days. 3 days later theyre telling me its now a week. Which means I miss an entire week of work. Ridiculous. Take it to an independent shop instead.
Product pickup was very quick and professional. I really like my new watch.
Fairly fast service, but you often have to Park in a free garage because there are no close by spaces open.
Can’t buy an $11 iMac power cable without paying an additional $80 in labor for you to hand me the unopened box. Something’s gone terribly wrong here..
They said that some one canceled my appointment
Sleek, minimalist design in a huge, well-lit white box space with the largest LCD screen Ive seen. Heather was awesome and took great care of us. We appreciate Apples commitment to COVID-19 mitigation protocols.
Had major issues with old iPhone vs. the new one. Customer service was excellent & got the new phone running & disabled the one to be returned.
Horrible customer service, went there to get an apple watch. They registered me and asked me to wait for assistant. Time when by over 30 minutes, not one staff come to offer help, mean while there are staffs standing around doing nothing. Three people came after me also looking for Apple watch, got assistant immediately.
