I brought in my MacBook Pro that had a crack in the screen to be repaired. What I was told would take 2-3 days ended up taking over a week. I picked up my laptop right before close, paid $550, took it home, and the screen was black…no one even checked their work. Brought it back in, waited another week and a half, and was then notified that the camera was shorted out, and the repairs it would need would likely cost more than the laptop was worth (but they couldn’t give me an estimate of time or cost). I came to pick it up and asked for a refund since the computer was even less functional than when I left it, and was denied. It took the tech a while to even find the right laptop because he stated “nothing was labeled.” Terrible customer service, I would not trust this place with your devices.Update: they did, in fact, send me home with someone else’s laptop.

I dropped a Samsung S10 cracking the glass covering the cameras. Made a few calls and found out I would be lucky if the camera lenses survived. I chose iPhone iPad Computer Repair for its location and hours. Before heading over, I called and the above was mentioned, camera lenses might not survive, but they could replace the glass. With a deposit of $46.60, parts arrived and I dropped off the phone for repair. Speaking with a tall skinny lad, he also recommended a tempered glass cover and I approved.Parts arrived within a day, an hour wait, I had my phone back.I started noticing photo quality issues rather quickly.I was a little confused as these issues were not with the 16MP ultra wide camera which had taken the original impact. But the 12MP telephoto lens. On close observation, I could see what appeared to be finger prints over the telephoto and ultra wide camera. I attempted to clean the glass thinking it was on the outside. It was clearly something under the glass.I was disappointed as I would now have to return after paying $93.20. I called and spoke with someone different. Someone who hadnt done the repairs. This new person assured me they would take care of it. I did mention I didnt want the other lad working on my phone a second time and was given a time range when I could drop it off.Low and behold. On my return, the tall skinny lad came in from the back room. It was clear he knew who I was and why I was there. I found his attitude to be curt, to say the least. He lacked any concern for my situation. I asked him if this was going to be a problem for him, as I could go someplace else. He stated there wouldnt be any problem.That evening I picked up my phone. The finger prints were removed. I will continue to test the cameras.I am deducting two stars from my review. 1). I had to return a second time. 2) The the aloof attitude presented on my return trip. This later is why I wont use them again. My time is too valuable to waste on a service with such poor customer appreciation.

Great customer service. I dropped of my watch with Jason and he gave me all my options. Even the original option I called about had a price drop so I picked it. My watch was ready in 2 days like he said. The screen protector he offered is a great addition and will hopefully keep my screen safe but in case it doesn’t, I know where to go and get it repaired fast.

IPhone data saved!My iPhone was in water for almost 30 minutes. I took it to the Apple store in the hopes of recovering my data since I didn’t have a backup (I know, I know). The Apple store told me that the phone was lost and there was nothing they could do. I gave me phone to Jesse and he recovered all my data! It was impressive from a phone that was not even turning on. He not only saved all my memories but he also took the time to explain what he was doing. I called him many times to check on the phone and he was always incredibly patient. Recommend this place as they know what they are doing!

I went here for an iPhone 8+ screen repair as well as an iPhone 7+ battery replacement. Even before I went over to his shop, owner was responsive to phone calls and was patient when answering questions.He performed all of the repairs in front of me (completed both in under 30 minutes) and found missing parts in my refurbished phone I purchased online. He replaced all parts with another phone he had on hand free of charge. The screen and battery both have warranties on each. Cant recommend his services enough.

I have taken my phone here twice for repairs. The most recent time Ive gone was because my screen broke. Upon careful repair, the tech noticed my camera was looking a bit hazy. Rather than charge me for a new camera, a deep cleaning of the lens was performed restoring the quality of the phone. I appreciated the honesty and time that went into repairing my phone. After a super frustrating call with Apple tech support I was just about ready to throw out my old iPad. Then I called Jesse who promised nothing but that he would try. I went there to get fixed my iPad´s screen, I was so nervous, they told me there was no risk. When I got it back, it has this little screen lines along the whole screen; then, when I tried to charge it, the battery didn´t worked and it started to turn it off at several times. I would not recommend it, don´t go. The only thing you´ll get are your devices worst than you´re bringing there.

My iPhone would not hold a charge, so I went to Hi Tech Gadgets in Austin.I met with Jason who completely tested my phone, and determined the problem was the battery which needed to be replaced.This whole process took approximately five minutes from start to finish, with a cost of $48.He save me probably hundreds of dollars on the cost of a new replacement phone.I highly encourage anyone who is having phone problems to contact them

If you’re looking to get your phone fixed, okay but if you’re looking for customer service... no way. I went here looking for a service to unlock my previous phone as I forgot my password. I wasn’t acknowledged when I walked in nor was I acknowledged for the 8 minutes I sat waiting. Once, he finished with the gentleman in front of me, the guy didn’t even say thank you for waiting, thank you for your patience, nothing. Even though they didn’t provide the services that I went in for, I wouldn’t bring any of my phones to them. If your business is dealing with the public in any aspect, I would hope that some form of a customer service expectation is a priority.

I never write reviews, but I think this is my duty to warn everyone, be careful before visiting this store, I called and asked for screw replacement for IPhone X, agreed on price and repair time, first of all instead of 45 minutes it took almost 2 hours, after that, I noticed that colors on screen are dim and purplish, the guy who fixed it said it will get to normal within couple days, Even tho I found it strange I decided to trust them. My 1100$ phone looks like China made fake phone coz of this store, I found out in 2 days that they put a fake screen on my phone, and were asking additional 100$, I tried to contact manager or owner, but unsuccessfully, they don’t care about their customers !!!

I received great service from these guys, i got my iPhone x fixed here and it looks brand new! Finally, i was worried that it was not fixable since how bad it was, when i took it to apple they said that they cant touch this since how bad the screen was damaged and offered me to buy another phone at $600. Glad i came to these guys, they saved me a lot of money. screen only cost me $130 to get it fixed and i got fixed in 35mins.

I had to go get me a new phone or get my iphones 6 fixed asap, so i went there and they gave me different choices and told me that it was actually cheaper to get my phone fixed than buying a phone. So found out that it was my charge port that had issues. It barely cost me money and i was out of there in 30mins! They were honest and up front unlike other business or corporate stores which will tell you oh your phone is bad, you will need a new phone and charge $600-$800... This will be the only cellphone or computer store that i will go to from now on!

Well there are many places in Austin that repair phones and other technologies. Jasons attitude seems to lack customer service. Dry. Unhelpful. Seek service else where. I will not return.

I went to the store today with the purpose of changing my iPhone 6S Plus screen that I thought was cracked at a couple of places. I tried to show the cracks to Denzel, but Denzel discovered that the scratches/cracks were on the temple glass that my daughter put it on two years ago. Therefore, I needed to only change the temple glass and saved $50 by Denzels honesty diagnosis. Great job. I would certainly send my colleagues, friends, and family members to this store in the future.

Had an old iPhone 4s screen replaced here a while back. I would not recommend, they stripped screws so the screen was slightly gapped and they basically bricked the phone. Somehow, the antenna was damaged so my cell phone and wifi signal were pretty much 1 bar everywhere unless you were standing right next to a wifi-router. When I went back under warranty during the 30 days or whatever it was, it seemed ok, because it was inside the store and the wifi router was in the same room basically but out in the real world or my house, it was useless.

I had an absolute terrible experience with this company. I went in and took my IPhone 6S to get the screen replaced and paid extra for the side lock button to be fixed. I work out of town and went and picked it up and the side button still did not work. Within 3 days the screen started lifting, and my phone wasnt working properly. I pushed my screen down and it began to crack at the top. After I returned into town from work, I went in to get it replaced and the problem fixed because it was still under warranty. The employee that helped us was uneducated and had no answers for us, and we had to wait for the manager to arrive half an hour later. Keep in mind, I am already late for work, and loosing money. The manager arrives, rudely, and walks straight into the back. When confronted about the situation he wouldnt listen to the situation, and decided that since there was a crack there was nothing he could do about it and refused to refund or fix it or free. He said he could only offer a $30 discount to get the screen replaced, even though the side button never was fixed, and they didnt put the screws back into the phone, and they didnt want to take responsibility for their mistakes.When I took the phone to another phone repair in Austin. ( MiPhone Doctor) They looked over the phone and explained to me everything they had done wrong, and literally laughed at how poor their workmanship was on the phone. During their repair they managed to have broken the home button because of how they put the phone screen back on.At MiPhone Doctor in Austin right down the road, gave me a discount for how poorly they put together my phone and even caused more damage and how they had treated the situation.I highly recommended going else where to deal with honest people who back there work, and employees who have actual answers and dont make you wait a long time for the manager because they are un informed and un educated.
