Went by to fix a loose laptop hinge caused by the screws popping off. They got it fixed in less than 5 minutes. Didnt even charge me. Really fast and professional service. Highly recommend to family and friends. Will definitely come by next time I need any tech repairs.

Cant praise them enough. Brought in my iPhone which was totally dead from extreme water damage. Wouldnt turn on at all. I wanted to see if they could possibly rescue any of the photos & videos from it, since I hadnt backed my phone up. I didnt need a full repair of the phone, since I already had a replacement from my warranty.Id seen some other places which do data recovery for water damaged iPhones, and charge $300-$1000, and take days to weeks. 1Up Repairs took a look at my phone, told me to come back in an hour and a half, and lo and behold, they got it up and running again. Since I wasnt looking for a full repair, they only fixed it enough for it to turn on, which was all I needed. Also, the price was way more affordable than any other places in town, less than $100!Ive brought in the same phone, as well as a laptop, several times before, and 1Up Repairs never fails to work wonders at affordable prices. I replaced my Samsung s20+ screen and it works fine like it is brand new.The price was kind of expensive but that is expected from q samsung screen.The worker their are very nice and explained what will they do to the phone.

1Up Repairs replaced my iPhone X screen back in August, 2020. It was a bit expensive at $160 at the time. They were able to take the phone from me or schedule an appointment. I did the appointment and took my phone to them over lunch. It was repaired and returned to me within an hour - while I ate lunch next door.However, this week (February 2021) my screen started malfunctioning. Really not sure what happened. What made me come back to review with 5-stars is that 1Up Repairs replaced the screen and screen protector for free. Basically assuming that their repair should still be in working order. I agree with that - but sometimes tech and repair companies dont lean that way.Very professional, quick, and good work done, but mostly pleased with how they treated me upon return and backed up their repair quality and integrity.

They repaired my s10 screen quickly, and around the same price as most other places I called. Unfortunately, a week or so after my repair i found out somehow now the aux port doesnt work at all, and there is a strange clicking when you press the top of the phone. Potentially unrelated, but since that repair now I have also had issues every time i restart my phone with it reading the SIM card (almost exact area of the clicking). Then of my own fault I managed to shatter my screen again 3 months after. Will probably take it elsewhere this time to try and get the SIM and auxiliary port issues fixed as well. Maybe I just came on a bad day.

I had upcoming exams and interviews, so they bootstrapped a fix to get it working until I could get it replaced at no charge. I went about two weeks ago to get my screen fixed .. after i noticed my phone sensor didn’t turn my screen off when i’d talk on the phone so my phone would hang up or dial numbers in the middle of a call .. and not even 24 hours later my phone was unresponsive and the screen didn’t work .. after force restarting it it still has those times of not working and i have to restart it again .. now my screen is shattered again i feel like i received a poor quality screen or cheap materials .. i’m really disappointed in this repair place .. i expected better for 79.99 repair of a iphone 7 screen..

Went in because a key on my laptop snapped off and was told itd be $200. At best they were ignorant about a simple repair, at worst trying to upsell me for a 5 minute fix. Cant recommend.

Highly Recommend! Thanks again Brandon! We brought in our 2018 MacBook Pro to have 1Up inspect for water damage after a cup of tea was spilled all over the keyboard. Not only did they immediately take it apart and check for damage, once it was confirmed that water hadnt penetrated to the components, they talked us through how to properly let it dry and test from home. Didnt charge us a cent and even gave us a screwdriver to make it easier to put back together once dried out. Really really appreciate Brandons patience with our questions and their willingness to help so quickly. Will definitely be coming back (if needed)!

Took my Xs Max to get my screen repaired and paid the $229 option. A month later I dropped it on carpet, with my case on and tempered screen protector and the screen cracked! It’s funny how my tempered screen glass protector did not crack but the actual screen did. Looks like they use cheap quality from China. I brought my iPhone6 years ago and service was good but not this time. :/

Dropped my PS4 and a chunk broke off of it, exposing the hard drive. I was so worried that it was toast.Called a few minutes before closing to ask about a repair, instead, they walked me through the issue over the phone and eased my fears. Turns out the piece was cosmetic, and I could just snap it back on and try booting it up again. It works! DO NOT GO HERE!!!I went to get my iPhone Xs charging port fixed; they convinced me that I should also get my cracked screen fixed and that my battery was bloated and needed to also get replaced.When I got the phone back, it turned on and off EVERY 3 minutes. I called and they said they could check it out again and basically said they couldnt fix it and gave me a refund.NOW HERES THE BAD PART.My dads friend is pretty high up in Apple and told me he could fix it (even though usually they dont take phones repaired at other phone shops due to liability). When he examined it he told me that the repair shop replaced all the parts except the motherboard with counterfeit parts. They replaced the back with a glass without the apple logo (which I didnt notice bc I had a case on it), Ill never be able to use the face ID bc they took the part that identifies your face ratios, they scratched the motherboard so bad that parts of it wasnt salvageable, and not to mention all the counterfeit parts. To boot, the charger port that they replaced in the first time has be re-replaced with a fake.DO NOT GO HERE. I guess they just assumed that I would throw the phone away and they took parts they could use WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS AND NOT TO MENTION ILLEGAL.The parts they took are probably going to go into someone elses phone which means if you get your phones replaced here youre getting used maybe even faulty pieces which have been STOLEN put into your phone.

I’ve had my phone fixed twice here- and have recommended the shop anytime I have a friend with a phone issue. They are amazingly fast, fair priced, and also just cool people. They went above and beyond on a battery warranty for me, and took the time to explain what happened to my phone. They’ve totally won my business- now I wouldn’t take my stuff anywhere else!

I am a technician who often fixes my own devices for myself and friends, but happened to need a quick repair done as I had no time to wait for a part. I found these guys through searching and reviews and decided to give them a shot. I took my iphone 7 plus in for a battery replacement (a 15 minute or so wait! AWESOME!), and when I walked in to pick up my phone, witnessed one of the employees checking a customers phone at the counter with them, finding a very simple issue that he fixed within seconds, and explained that issue and repair to the customer. The best part of watching this was that the shop did not charge the customer for this quick and easy fix like I have seen so many repair shops do over the years. KUDOS to these guys. My phone has a fresh battery, no info was lost, and I got to get a free smile watching another tech not screw over a customer over a simple fix. These guys got my phone back in business very quickly. I initially thought that my charging port had gone bad and also that my battery needed replacement. They were able to clean out the charging port, thereby fixing it with no charge! Then they offered to install a new battery for a very reasonable price (around $40). Extremely amazing and helpful!! My MacBook wouldnt turn on and I found out it was having a battery issue. Took it to the campus tech support and they wanted $30 just to find out what was wrong with it (same thing with Apple), but 1up helped me just pop out my back cover and reset my battery in no time at all! My iphone stopped charging and I was dreading having to go to the mall/apple store. My spouse suggesting looking for a local repair shop with a smaller footprint and I found 1Up. For starters, the name is awesome and they post their pricing estimates on their website! And you can book appointments and get a discount for doing so. I took my phone in and they notice that the end of the charging cable broke off in my charging port, popped it out, and let me go free of charge. At least now I know where to take my phone in the future and avoid the crowded apple store!

You get what you pay for. Their service and speed are tremendous. They are also insanely cheap. However, theres a little bit of lackluster quality going on. Most people will not notice but my phones color saturation is obviously not to the factory level after a screen replacement. They gave me a lot of information about how any glass will look different on every phone and there are some settings you can try but honestly, I dont think they are aware that its just not the same color saturation. They simply arent listening to me. Im not talking about tone or temperature. My phone has about 60% of the color saturation it used to. I would be fine if I knew that upfront and agreed to it but they wouldnt re-replace or admit there was any difference. I was just told I was wrong and I need to play with settings that dont make any difference. I will not go back but if you dont care about your color saturation, youll be totally fine. Im a graphic designer so its possible that my expectations are high.

They fixed my cracked screen on my iPhone 7+ for a great price, and when I forgot my password and locked myself out like an idiot, they helped me restore my phone and get back in within no time. I came in with my phone totally not working- nothing on the screen was responding to touch, so I couldnt even power off my phone to restart it. They helped me out, thinking at first it would need a screen repair, but in the end were able to fix the solution without a repair. They didnt even charge me and refused to even accept a tip! I would not take your phone here. I took my Iphone in yesterday for a quick fix of a cracked screen on top and when I got my phone back not even 3 minutes later it starts acting up and the screen wont work and when I click on the screen something else will start tweaking out . I spent over $100. Do not take your phone here. I now have to go elsewhere to get this problem fixed.

I stopped by 1Up Repairs because I was walking by and happened to have a question concerning a 2011-2012 MacBook Pro. They, while fixing other products, told me the best way to try and fix it myself and they gave me a pen and pad to write the info down because I was just going to write it on my hand. They were very kind anddid that without a consult fee. Most places would charge without a doubt. Even though it didnt work (because I probably did it wrong) Im going to be bringing it into them in the next couple of days. $100+Tax for OS installs. DoneEdit:So, I brought it to them and it was $108.25 (tax included) to put the new OS on the computer. They did and I got it back the same day which was awesome. Once I got home I turned it on and everything was fine, but safari didnt want to work. I called and told them the issue. They said bring it back in to the shop. So I brought it back to them and they had another look at it without charge and said come back the next day. Today I came in and it turns out that due to the extensive water damage to the motherboard it cant be fixed. So, they completely refunded me my money and handed me back the computer. These guys are truly honest and great. I highly recommend their services!

Ive been in here a number of times. Theyre the only place on the square/campus area Ive found that sells SD cards, and theyre always super friendly. Ive had a couple small issues they were able to resolve in just a few minutes that they did as a courtesy. They warranty all their work and I would highly recommend!

Excellent customer service. Went in to buy a phone charger and told them that I only had 1 cord that still worked, but I left it up in north Austin at my girlfriends place. They said that my phone plug in probably just needed to be cleaned so they cleaned it and charged it for me in the store. All the cords that I thought didnt work anymore are now able to charge my phone. Thank you!

If you want a quality job that will last I would STAY FAR AWAY from this place. The pros of this place are that they are cheap and fast and will order the part for you. I had my screen fixed twice from these guys. The first time they cracked the side of my phone saying that it was an accident. I was just happy the phone was fixed so I didnt worry about it. The next time they replaced my screen I had to take it back because the screen was slow to respond. They kindly fixed it at no charge. When I was going to work today I picked up the phone and the screen literally came off. I brought it back to 1Up and they said it was physical damage and that I should not put my phone in my back pocket. The phone is a LG5, in a case and does not fit in my pocket. I ended up taking it to another cell phone repair tech and they showed me the defective work that 1Up did. They literally glued it with super glue and not double-sided tape!! I was blown away and emailed owner but he still didnt care. In their eyes, they do perfect work and can never install a defective screen. They also say they care about customer service but if they did they wouldnt treat customers like how they do. I would not recommend anyone to anyone.

When I took it to apple they kept pressing me to get a new phone and wouldnt even tell me the problem, they said they couldnt diagnose my phone, but said for me to purchase a new one. I decided to call 1 Up, and they got me in and diagnosed my phone, had the part ordered, and I now have service!
