This location is by far the best customer service Ive received at Verizon. Professional and efficient! I had the pleasure of working Andres and he was 10/10 delivered on giving me knowledge, discounts, and options throughout my time. Definitely worth the drive if youre not close to S Lamar.

I came into this Verizon store absolutely miserable b/c I had no phone service for 5 days (long story). Andres solved my issue within 10 minutes (lightning fast). He’s so knowledgeable and super friendly/helpful. He was very empathetic as he could tell I was very unhappy prior to getting his help! Thanks Andres! 🙂

I came into this location this afternoon and I was having issues with my iPhone. My phone for whatever reason would not connect to my Gmail and I was also having issues with my QR code scanner on my camera. I met with Martin and he took about 5 to 10 minutes to sit down with me and make sure they got it all figured out. If I have any other issues are definitely stop by the store first. And #Ask4martin

I ordered my device online and was having issues loading my iCloud. I decided to stop in the store because I knew I had to ship my old phone back in a timely manner. Martin was able to help me get a new charger for my phone and get all of my icons loaded back into my device. If I have any further issues I’ll definitely stop by the store the customer service is extremely fantastic.

After coming to the store I realized that the Texas stores are a lot better than the California ones. I was met with Martin Barrett and he made my transfer super simple and super easy. If I need anything else Ill stop by and see him

The sales person was phenomenal. They were a huge help getting my new phone set up. I definitely recommend cellular sales to anyone looking for a and upgrade or new phone plan. I will say Apple however SUCKS, no headphones, no charging block for a 1000$ phone, come on ! If you would like to go get screwed by apple, this sales group will make the process as painless as possible.

Dropped by the store to get my niece a replacement phone, and Jeff was so helpful. Not only was he patient and kind, he had great customer service. He was knowledgable and was able to answer all our questions. We left happy and we appreciate this level of customer care.

I have to say the experiences I’ve had at this store always go above and beyond what I expect. A few days ago my iPhone fried in the middle of the night to which it was basically unrecoverable. I took it to the Apple store where they told me it was going to be a 3 hour wait to just plug it in and reboot. Instead, I called South Lamar Verizon and had Jeff take care of me. Unfortunately I was still paying on my old phone and had no solution - in to save the day, Jeff. He talked me through each step of the process to ensure I was taken care of, listened to what my needs were and was able to supply me with a new phone. We paid off my old one, he worked some magic, and a few days later was able to bring my old one back to life on trade in. In the end, I was able to get a working phone, trade in my old phone for monthly installment credit - which saved us money, and walked out of the store happier than how Apple treated me in the mere 10 mins I was there. I would recommend Jeff and the South Lamar store to anyone looking for service, new devices, or someone you can count on to take care of you when you step in the door. NOT A REAL VERIZON STORE!!PREDATORY SALES TACTICS!!These dudes are very obviously working on commission, beware! (I heard them discussing their numbers while I was waiting for my phone data to switch over).They dont have full authority to do things like use account credits. Dont have a full inventory, OR they lie and tell you that all they have is the most expensive model. Either way not ideal.Pushy guys. Convinced me to buy a tempered glass screen protector that actually is not recommended for this phone because it interferes w the biometrics. Now i cant make a return because every time i come in they have too few staff for the customers (2 guys).This place sucks, go to a real verizon store.

Jeff was great with setting up my new phone. I didnt realize I needed to run updates prior to transferring data from old phone to new phone. He was not phased by the longer time for set up due to my unpreparedness and we had a good conversation about being from the same hometown.

My visit was to transfer data from a old phone to a new one. The new phone was $1300 and they would charge me $35.00 for the transfer I told them that in Kyle it was free since its a business account. So if you need better customer service visit Kyle store. The service was not very friendly and seems to be having a bad day. Business close because the customer is seen as a bother than your pay check.

Stay Away! They chargec$35 to transfer data from your old phone to the very costly new phone. The staff there knows NOTHING about customer service. One person started to call me a liar, but realized the sale hadnt been completed. The worst service....ever! If I could give a zero rating, I would.

Be careful with these people for they are just car salesmen. They’ll talk really fast a wrap you up in contracts. When you go to return something within the 15 day “try free with no stress” period, you’ll get charged $60. I highly recommend an alternative to Verizon.

Today I came in to upgrade from a samsung s7. Jeff assisted me in showing me a bunch of different Android options and educated on enhancements changes in last 6-7 year. I went with a one plus 5g and got a car mount and all new cords . He helped transfer and setup everything. Thanks!

I told the rep I needed a galaxy s20+ screen protector, and he went ahead and ripped my current protector off and started crumpling it up in his hand before I stopped him. He then told me he misheard me and didnt have a replacement screen protector, and he had to put the one he crumpled back on my phone. Absolutely the worst experience Ive ever had in a store before. Thanks for further ruining my day.

Javier Valerio is one by far one of the best client specialist Verizon has to offer. He has helped be out with phone upgrades for almost 4 years not and every time he is so diligent about customer service and providing me with the best Verizon has to offer. He is kind, patient, and damnit he deserves a raise =)

This is a wonderful store! We picked them initially because they were the only verizon store in town open past 6pm (til 9pm). My phone was not working, and Alonso, a sales associate, worked patiently with us to try and troubleshoot a solution. We left the store to think about next steps and when we realized it was just time to buy a new phone, we returned that evening near closing time. Alonso was already past his shift to help another customer after we left earlier, so when we returned and saw him grabbing his bag to leave, we said might you be able to stay and help us? And he did! Alonso guided us through our options (with no pressure to buy a particular phone) and was able to give a great deal on trade in value of my old phone. When 9pm rolled around, the manager was wonderful and allowed us to stay in the store past hours so Alonso could get everything transferred from my old phone to a new one. There was some issues at first transfering files (because of my old phone being broken) but Alonso was persistent to ensure I didnt lose any of my files...and I didnt!I cant express how appreciative I am of Alonso and the team at this Verizon store!! They made a frustrating situation (with my phone breaking) more manageable and enjoyable. Im so glad it was this store we went to that evening! I highly recommend this store!!

I had called Verizon ask what’s there plans and what is the process on switching over and how all that works and which I’m currently with sprint. Tim was Persuasive On getting me into switching to Verizon and very good communication and excellent customer service skills very friendly wasn’t rude to me I recommend joining Verizon and talking to Tim he’s willing to work with you and negotiate things. He answered all my questions He help me get a good plan affordable one at that. Robin was great. My fiance dropped his phone in the street and it was run over. He needs it for work, we were able to get up and running on a new phone in less than 2 hours. She was a Godsend.

We were attended to as soon as we walked in. We came in to replace my broken phone the I had dropped by accident. My wife had a crack on her phone as well not so noticeable but could get worse. Bottom line we were signed into a NEW Plan in which we saved. They paid the balance owed on my wifes phone. We Left with 2-New MOTOedge phones and a tablet VERY Content.

I recently visited to inquire about switching to Verizon from AT&T and met with Brandon. He informed me of all of the promotions I qualify for when I switch, and helped transfer all of my content to my new phone. I’m beyond satisfied with the professionalism Brandon displayed, along with the entire staff.I gotta be honest. I must’ve asked Brandon at least 25-30 questions (yes, I’m that guy). But he was patient and knowledgeable and answered every question and eased my concerns. I won’t be going anywhere else for my cell phone needs.

I had to go to this store to figure out an issue with my grandma’s account. Dane was the associate who helped me out and he was terrific! He was very clear with his explanation of the issue and got it cleared up right away. Not going to lie, receiving service like this is almost enough to make me jump ship and get service with Verizon again. I came into this location looking for a new device. Martin was able to assist me on trying to figure out exactly what I was going to get. I currently have the Galaxy Note 9 and we took the offer for the dual screen for the LG V60. He was also able to submit for that screen and get my new phone setup. From now on this will be the location I come to.

A few reasons for the 1 star review:1. Told me that the screen protectors he put on my phone were free to get me to agree to it. Then after they are already on, lets me know I have to buy a case for them to be free. Blatant bait and switch.2. Bring fiance back since we might as well get a case since he had told me that I hed credit back the 50 dollar screen protector if and when she buys a case. Get there at 6:30 and he is no longer there when we arrive despite saying hed be there until 7. Rude lady lets me know that she cannot honor that deal and Id have to come back when my original salesperson is working again.3.Charged me a 35 dollar service fee under the guise that the fee was the Verizon activation fee. That 35 goes straight to the store for the privilege of buying a phone from them. I still owe the 40 to Verizon. When I ask the same rude lady above about this she says That is for our services. If you dont like it you could drive to a corporate store4. Told me that the package with Hulu+ include could be upgraded to ad free(it cant). I specifically asked about this because Hulu with ads is worthless to me, and i was blatantly lied to.End to end bad experience. I will not be back.

I came in the store because my bill was way to much. Samir checked my bill and then he told us we had a iPad that had service, we cancelled the service and he upgraded me to the iPhone 12 pro max. He was patient and assisted all my needs and made great jokes. Will def come back and ask for him.

Went two different times knowing exactly what phone I wanted to buy. Should have been a lay-up for either salesman. Instead it was like they were looking for an excuse not to sell the phone. Neither of them on each situation would I call friendly nor helpful; it was like I interrupted their day to let them know exactly what product I wanted. Even though I live less than a mile away from this place, I will never attempt to buy from here again. Ill head up to the dealer on N Lamar instead. After 24 years of being a loyal Cingular turned AT&T customer, I decided to make the switch to Verizon. Choosing to go in to switch and pick up our phones on my BIRTHDAY was not the best idea. At first, the sales men I had very unhelpful and quite RUDE! One of the iPhone 12 pros I had pre-ordered and had been waiting a while for, was sold to someone else once my order arrived at the store BY some employee named Brandon, who had no authority to do so! We got no apology or help and were told we could drive to the next town to get some other version of the phones if we wanted or we were going to have to re-order them. Y’all, those two guys were so rude I started crying! My wife was also appalled and wanted to leave and stay with AT&T...I reached over to a guy that had just finished helping customers in the store and thank goodness I didn’t. Ismael ended up taking over the sale and service switch and he was not only helpful, he was KIND!!!! A little kindness goes a LONG WAY with me.Thing is, it wasn’t necessarily the store that was the problem. Because one of the phones was sold to someone else, we had to wait a couple of days to get that one. When I went back in to activate it, the store and energy inside were completely different. Everyone was cool and nice, there were some women there, which also softened the over-pouring of testosterone from three days prior and I was comfortable again, as I was when I first went in and ordered the phones to begin with.The gentleman that made it all ok again was named ISMAEL and he’s great. We highly recommend that if you plan to do ANY Verizon business, you make an appointment with Ismael!!! Charged me $35 for a screen protector that doesnt fit my phone. Sales dude also gave me a wireless charger that I didnt ask for and said it was for free. He charged me for that too. I better get refunds on both of these. Shady salesman 101. This was not an accident.

Robin is amazing! I had an upgrade on my iPhone and had cracked my screen so I figured it was finally time to move from an 8plus to an 11pro max. I received a special offer for $200 off for online offers but she was still able to honor that anddd also traded in my phone so walked out paying $42 for two brand new iPhone 11pro Max’s! She made this experience super smooth and easy especially with covid still happening! Thank you so much robin!

I had T-Mobile and I came into this location and Martin was able to help me switch over from them. It was seamless and easy and my number is on now on my new phone. If I need anything Ill come back to this location from now on.

I feel that the salesman I worked with was likely being dishonest. My phone had broken and I went in to get it replaced and looked for options, the guy said that there Werent any phones that were below around a $1000 that were sold anymore, and insisted that any phone I bought would be around a $1000 and that the earlier model was only a $50 savings. I dug in a bit further with him and asked for printed out quote, he only printed a $1000 phone and then I insisted on the earlier model which he quoted at $750. I decided to look elsewhere and went to Best Buy and there were clearly many other phones that were well below a $1000.... ended up getting a great Samsung for around $430. It seems to me based off of my communication with him that he was likely working off commission and not having the best interest of the customer and mind. It felt As if he was looking to take advantage of anybody who walked through the door...I couldnt trust a word he said.

Came in to check plan. Thinking of getting new device, but found there was a extra like I had been paying for and didn’t realize it. Jose got to the bottom of it and had three lines removed and switched plans for me. Great customer care and services. Definitely recommend you come see him!

I live down the street from this store and needed accessories for my iphone (that I dropped. He sold me a liquid screen protector and tempered glass to ensure that if and when I drop my phone again, it will break on the tempered glass and not the screen itself. While I dont have Verizon I am going to consider switching. Thanks Samir for your time. I’ll be back!

I have been with Verizon for nine years. I was seriously considering leaving Verizon because of the service. However, I went to the burnet road store and Martin was there and helped me.I ran into a problem later that afternoon and Matt Linson helped me. Because of the great service I received from Martin and Matt I will remain with Verizon. Geoffen is also an outstanding Verizon representative.

Unprofessional group of people at this location. Drove miles back & forth to this place! I don’t recommend this location even if it was the only location available to the public. Weird robot sounding dude gets on the phone & gets an attitude with my husband & hangs up in his face. We waited outside in the heat both days to get “unfortunately we can’t process your order”! I have ran back & forth to this store wasting gas just to get rude customer service & for them to cancel my order!

T mobile cheated me out of $300 dollars, I needed to go to a much better company. Every talks about Verizon and how good they are so I decided to give them a shot. Wow what an easy process! BUY 1 GET 1 FREE!!!! Super nice people I actually really enjoyed everything. They made me feel welcome and it was incredible. Such caring people. 10/10 would recommend coming

Came in today with no service. We recently switched from AT&T to Verizon in the Minneapolis area but I recently moved to Austin Tx. Jose Garcia helped me in solving my issue. He found out I needed a new SIM card and replaced my old one with a new one. Very respectful and patient in helping me. If I have any future issues I know who to go to now. I definitely recommend you come see him.

Alonso at the South Lamar store helped me get a prepaid sim for my US travels today. Lovely customer experience, he explained everything, set everything up perfectly and we even figured out the challenge of my German credit card for payment.
