They were first recommended to us from friends at a previous house where they tiled our bathroom and installed seagrass throughout the house. When we moved to another house, we remembered what a fantastic job they did and called them again. This time, we had a complete remodel of an older house so they ripped out all the tile (the entire house) and installed slate, bamboo and tile on all the floors, they tiled the master bath floor to ceiling, reconfigured the shower area and installed a beautiful Silestone quartz tub decking with a frosted shower glass wall. Most recently they came back out to tile a bathroom floor, our kitchen backsplash and island wall...its beautiful!! Stephanie is so knowledgeable with helping design and pick the materials, Julian with pricing and technical expertise, and they employee the best installers. I used to live by castle flooring and decided to stop in because we were looking for a very specific tile size and color that we could not find anywhere. I stopped in on a Saturday without an appointment but Stephanie what amazing and still helped me. I had already called multiple flooring places all over the Austin area for my unique, small-scale project. I wanted to put a natural fiber material in our master closet, and no one in town except Julian was able to accommodate my request. He had a lovely seagrass in stock and although incredibly busy, Julian worked in my project over the couple of weeks. He was the consummate professional and always responsive to my calls and emails. I especially appreciate that he made my diminutive project feel as important as any on his team’s docket. The work was completed quickly and with exceptional professionalism. Everything Julian promised was delivered. Even my skeptical husband was pleased with the finished product! We would use Castle Flooring again in a heartbeat.

I am working on remodeling my bathroom and my wife wanted a heated floor. I chose the Schluter Ditra Heat system and their website recommended using Castle Flooring as a reseller. While installing the floor membrane I ran short and contacted Castle late on Sunday to order more. They were able to get the order into their supplier on Sunday and I had the materials in two days. Castle went out of their way to assist me and I cannot recommend them enough.

EDIT: Castle Flooring reached back out to me with an explanation and a thorough estimate. I have not yet worked with them as installers so I cant speak on that end, but they have a great inventory and they are accountable to their customers.My first experience with Castle Flooring was very good. I purchased tile for a project and everything went smoothly. After that I decided to take on a floor renovation in two rooms in my house, and wanted to purchase from Castle AND hire them to do the work.Unfortunately this experience with them was lacking, they are completely unresponsive. I spent a long time in the showroom choosing tile options for the project. The owner came to my home to measure the areas, but he never contacted me with an estimate after that. I reached out to him myself to remind him to send me the estimates, and he never replied or sent them over.A complete waste of my time. I guess they must have so much business that they feel comfortable with ghosting clients.

Wow, I just got off a 40 minute phone call with Julian, the owner, and I couldnt be more impressed. We used Castle Floors for multiple projects at our prior home and the results were just stunning! I had the pleasure of having Castle Flooring do my floors in my home. I have never had such a pleasant experience with working with a company. From beginning to end it was headache free. There was no hidden costs, add ons, etc. They were very helpful with assisting me with picking out flooring; provided a wonderful selection of floor types to choose from. The gentlemen that came to do the floors were very courteous and professional. The did an EXCELLENT job and didnt waste any time with getting it done. I hate having to put furniture on the floors because I want to admire them. THANK YOU CASTLE FLOORING! I will forever give you referrals and look forward to working with you again one day.

Julian and Stephanie are wonderful! After visiting several tiling places our experience with Castle Flooring was incredible! First, they are open longer hours and on Saturdays making it easier to visit if you work normal business hours. They also provide large samples that you can take home to see if you like it after several days. Julian came to our house and gave us great advice on what tile would look best and where to put it. They also offer wonderful pricing. We were looking at 3 or 4 tiles and their price was the cheapest out of other tiling stores offering the same brand of tile. I recommend skipping all the other places and going here first because it is the best in Austin!

Just had Julian and his team (Troy) at my home to put in bamboo. Easy, professional, thorough and wonderful to work with. I would have them back in an instance. 5 star in my book.

Amazing Service and Value!!!At first, I was a bit hesitant because it was not the lowest bid. But what impressedme most is the attention to detail with the bid and later, during the hardwood project.Not only was the hardwood installed professionally and with the greatest attention to preparation procedures. In fact, they cared enough to cover non-work zones and my fixtures with plastic. I was especially glad to get progress reports and was asked for my opinion on a few minor items. It was a pleasure working with the team and will look forward to working again on my next flooring project.

We have used Castle Flooring to supply tile flooring and stone backsplash for a major kitchen remodel; engineered flooring for a replacement of carpet on our entire first floor; and tile flooring and tile shower enclosure for a complete master bath remodel.Their selection is outstanding and their value is excellent. Excellent service, amazing products and a huge variety for your projects.

We ordered Teragren vertical bamboo and had a great experience. Julian gave us helpful suggestions on how to test the slab for moisture. He took the time to explain the procedure before laying the bamboo. The order was fast and we had the bamboo in a week. Unfortunately we were ended up being short on the bamboo due to a miscalculation from my contractor. However, thanks to Julians quick actions the additional flooring should be here by the end of the week. The rest of the floor looks very nice.

I would rate it a 10 if I could because I could not be happier! Julian was a pleasure to work with. I appreciate that the work was done on time and to highest standards. In addition, the installer was courteous and as unobtrusive as possible. You would be making a mistake if you did not use Castle Flooring.

Julian and his installation team were terrific. They installed just under 1000 sf of tile in my house. The major plus is that they treated my new house like it was their own. They protected cabinets and blocked off areas of the house when removing the existing tile and exhausted dust out of house. Other flooring companies will not do this....believe me, I asked other companies when I got estimates from them. Their pricing is very competitive with other reputable flooring companies in Austin. Cant say enough good things!

** Top-notch Customer Service! Fantastic Showroom! **In September 2019, I purchased Schluter products for a bathroom remodel through Castle Flooring, LLC. I chose them through the Schluter website based on their large amount of 5-star reviews and their proximity to the Austin area. My wife and I stopped by the showroom to chat with Stephanie and browse their extensive collection. She made us feel at home and showed us a lot of great tile solutions. Her guidance was very helpful in the design phase. The showroom has a lot of great swatches which really bring the tile to life. Very helpful to see them that way before making a purchase and overall a much better experience than aimlessly wandering a big blue or orange warehouse.My main purpose there, however, was to purchase underlayment for the aforementioned bath/shower remodel. Even though I wasn’t contracting them to do the work, Julian still took the time to go over my list line-by-line to ensure I had the correct amount of the correct products. A veteran myself, I appreciate Julian’s prior service which is reflected in his superior attention to detail. Without his consult, I likely would have lost time and overspent on this project. He has many years of experience in the industry and is very knowledgeable with the Schluter system as well as current design trends. I few weeks ago I went into Castle Flooring to make a significant purchase of tile. We were greeted when we went into the shop and after we let the owner know what we were looking for his cell phone rang. He immediately answered his phone. After ( I kid you not) 10 minutes listening to his side of a private call, we walked out. As we were walking to our car he poked his head out and yelled, Hey, where are you going? We told him we didnt want to do business with someone so inconsiderate and keep going. We found the exact tile online that we went into his place looking for and at half the price!

Castle Floors did a fantastic job with the backsplash in our kitchen. Stephanie was very helpful in the store, but also gave us plenty of room to look around and come up with what we wanted with absolutely zero pressure.Julian spent a lot of time, at the end of what Im sure had been a long day for him, measuring our kitchen and discussing with us options for how to tile everything. He was super thorough and thought of everything we didnt think of! For example, he proposed that we tile around the inside of our window rather than putting on a windowsill. It looks amazing!When we discovered that one of the tiles we picked had been discontinued, Julian called around the country trying to find stock. When they were nowhere to be found, he talked through options with us and I think really helped us pick the best one. When the tile was delayed on arriving, he was in constant contact with us letting us know when it would arrive, even on his day off.Once the tile arrived and it was time to get to work, Jose, the tile installer, was so professional. He is truly an artist at what he does and worked a very long day to make sure our kitchen would still be done quickly despite the delay on the tile delivery. He made such tiny cuts to fill in around our ceiling and window, and constantly went above and beyond to make sure our tile was perfect.When Jose was done, Julian came back, throughly inspected everything with me, and made sure I was happy. He also made it clear if we discovered anything in the future, that they would come out and fix it.I cannot recommend Castle Flooring enough!

Beware this company. They did not follow protocol as they said they would and did not do a proper air out when installing our floor. My husband developed Multiple Chemical Sensitivity and we lost our home due to their incompetence. My husbands health has still not recovered entirely. They hired unskilled labor to do our floor and they have almost no experience with wood floors. Our floor grew mold in about 27 places because they did not do a a thorough check for moisture ahead of time just a minor one. I hired a flooring expert who verified their install was faulty. He knew this partly because the boards when pulled up-the glue came with them rather than staying on the slab.
