We lived in California for 30 years. We have hired many contractors for our different properties from painting, backyard kitchens, Solar, Kitchen remodeling and general fixing. Many try to upsell you or bait and switch. We had good ones and bad ones. When we were looking for flooring experts to put in Karndean Looselay floors we got 4 quotes. Our first great experience was that our property was so new that you cant find it on Google. Mike came out and could not find the place. I was on the road and guided him to the place. The new home builder was there with contractors finishing up interior and exterior painting and I thought they were still working. Mike got there and no one was there. Most contractors especially in California would have gone irate. Mike was very cool and said he will come back on Tuesday the following week. This was the first great sign. I then went to his store front and met with his wife to show me the different flooring samples. She went out of her way to pull all the samples. Great experience number 2.Out of the 4 quotes Mike was the 2nd lowest and the fastest to respond. My wife wanted to go with the lowest and came highly recommended by the house inspector who had that contractor put in his wood floors. I just had a good feeling about Mike and his family so I convinced my wife to go with Mike.My gut feeling was right. Mike, Victor and his crew were great and professional. They did a better job than the home builders. The caulking was professional, whereas the new home builders seems they were using someone that did cleaning windows for a living.Victor went out of his way to make sure the Hefa or Queen of the house was happy for she is a hawk for detail. The floors came out beautiful and the Hefa and I was very very happy. We had the best experience in all the years of dealing with contractors. Victor is great and a gem.The Hefa and I highly recommend Johnson fine floors. Happy wife is a happy life.
