What a cool place to shop I was literally warmly greeted by the entire staff throughout the 10 mins of being there! They are setting the standard of an A+ customer service!

Great selection of items for everything and everyone! However can you please stop having all of the employees literally follow patrons around in every single section. Literally four people came to me in every section and just hovered. Sheesh I just wanted a puzzle and some books.Very organized spaces for shopping by sections.

I love this place for their shoe selection and great staff. I came here as a kid for the awesome educational toys. In college I came for the back packs. Now I get shoes mostly.

I have been shopping at Mrs Jones store since I was a small boy I could only look through the glass cases and fantasize, now around the time I went on outward bound my mom had managed to get us into West Austin but by the skin of her State employment teeth, we were poor but her son Egan and Mrs Jones outfitted me to go on my first of three trips and took it out of the rental area where they used to rent equipment and gave me top of the line gear a discount on my asolo Italian made hiking boots which are the best boots Ive ever owned she gave me so many extras I never forgot her and always give them my business so many things from toys for the kids that have a learning curve I love that, and just like it used to be especially if the one on campus you could walk in the front door naked and walk out and jump on a plane bus or train and head out to your expedition theyve changed very little only customizing Target markets and accompanying products they have minimized their amount of freeze dried food chicken ala King was the best or chili mac a close second but when I was of that age and I felt a deep connection to community whole earth has always been a local giver now in this economy I hope people will give them your business I was recently in there with my nephew we bought a couple of pocket knives a flashlight and some clothes and yes it was expensive but thats relative compared to quality never be afraid to buy the very best youll never be dissatisfied. And they are love them love them love them, and because I am a gentleman I will not go into my experience with REI recreational equipment infiltrators and thats all Ill say about that one love one heart go get some gear and find a new part of the world 🌎🌍🌍🌎🌍🌍

They have a pretty large selection of toys for all ages from infant up. My son loves coming here to explore the toys. Their staff is super friendly and ample parking in multiple lots and nearby streets.

I came here looking for the Vibram toe shoes, expecting maybe one or two styles, and hoping to find a pair in my size. As it turns out, they have a lot of styles, and many sizes! The girl helping me was wonderful, and had her own experience with the different styles to help me decide. I was very pleased with my visit!

Great selection of products and helpful staff. Products can be a little pricey. Their book and novelties take up a decent amount of floor space and they cater to some specific brands like Patagonia over The North Face. Nothing to complain about, just observations.

Friendly workers and lots of cool stuff. Their extensive toys and gifts section kind of crowds their sporting goods section, which makes this feel less like the specialist store I was looking for, but thats a minor quibble.

While they didnt have what I went in for, it was fun just walking around! The hammocks out front are super fun and they have a lot of toys inside to look at. Great for camping gear and outdoor adventures and lots if cute clothing. Also a good size shoe collection.

I appreciate that artist had the opportunity to create here. It opened in 2011 and closed in 2019. It is going to be reopened at a location by the airport.

I stepped out of my comfort zone, thanks to Andrew. He showed me a pair of Solomon day hikers that I wouldnt normally choose...because I have conservative tastes. However, Andrew demonstrated the key features of the shoe and thats what convinced me that it was the one for me. Thank you, Andrew.

I find the staff at this store not as friendly. I love shopping local and supporting local but always have a hard time with them honoring my GoLocal card. At first I thought it was a bonus to get an extra discount on sales items. What is the point of providing this if you dont want them to be used. The store is also hard to maneuver through.I prefer the South Lamar store. There the staff is friendly and helpful and the store is easy to move through. They also have a better selection of kids toys and clothes.

Nice shop with an unusual mix of hiking and camping hear, gifts, books and toys. Generally the hiking gear and clothing is similar to most outfitters but there is lots in a relatively small floorplan and you could easily find everything you need for a hiking trip.

A must stop for me. I love outdoor clothing and gear. Great toys too.

We love Whole Earth for being local and active in the community. The selection of clothes, shoes, bags, and sunglasses is comparable to REI, often with better prices. This is also a favorite place to bring our dog and child shopping because the staff and other customers are super friendly.

Staff was very helpful in gathering the listed items I needed this reducing my time in the store. The reason for the four stars is because of the items are a bit pricey. Fortunately I have a gift certificate to apply, but have a small balance which I may not use.

Great store that you can shop in for quite a long time and really find some neat stuff. They have everything from binoculars to hammocks. Great selection of childrens toys, most of which are educational. This is a great place to go to find a gift when you have no idea what to get. Everyone is really nice here.

Whole Earth is a tale of two stores. First their outdoor gear is spectacular. And their staff are really helpful when it comes to asking questions about climbing or camping gear. Second, they have a lot of novelties like childrens books and toys. The toy selection is a snapshot of what youll find at Terra Toys or Toy Joy, but perhaps you may not want to drive out of your way. Awesome store to get lost in....

This place is cool if you want to find some unique/wacky gifts for people. The staff is friendly and the place has items ranging from shoes to hammocks. Really great place to visit if you need a last minute holiday gift or something odd that one might not expect get.

I like this Whole Earth Provision Co. store, too! The staff seems friendly and approachable. Like the South Lamar/Westgate store, the technical stuff is toward the back of the store. A busy location and limited -albeit tree-canopied- parking should not deter you from visiting.

When I entered the staff is restocking, taking inventory, texting, conversing with each other. Everything but actually selling anything to customers. The manager was harried but kind enough to stop and ring me up - I pitied him for his crew.

A local outfitter that has focused on community needs. Lots of kids toys, clothing, and advice. Unlike REI (which is awesome) Whole Earth is more about getting out and doing versus the gear you would require to do it. I know this doesnt make sense. How about this go in and enjoy great prices and even better advice.

I had to change rating from 5 star. I was in there, asked if I was doing okay (just got there), yes. Then not even 60 seconds later, same person asking me AGAIN if Im doing okay. SERIOUSLY!!! Give me some room to breathe and some time to look. I was about to drop some cash to buy some items, but had to get out of there because I didnt feel like being harassed while I look. Great selection.

What a hidden gem in Clarksville! I visited for my first time recently despite living nearby and driving by it all the time. I wasnt sure what to expect, but I had a gift certificate so I ventured in. It has everything from knick-knack gifts to clothes, shoes, books, and sports/camping gear. Lots of variety and selection, and super friendly and helpful staff. I wandered around for almost an hour just browsing and walked away with some gifts for friends. Ill definitely keep this place in mind for the future next time I have to get a new hammock or a quirky gift for a friend.

Decent place .. slightly overpriced . Its like REI crossed with Whole Foods . the staff is super nice. I bought a bunch of lovely kites are reasonable prices. They keep having sales which ( I am told) is the best time to buy.

I like the store and the products, but the staff always stare at me the whole time like Im going to steal something. Not every time, but most times. This is especially true for the staff at the store just west of UT Campus, but I can sort of understand that one.Maybe theyre just REALLY ATTENTIVE, but the folks at REI are pretty attentive too, and I never feel like theyre silently accusing me of theft.

Maybe the most understated outdoor gear and clothing store in Texas. Great staff and managed like a fine tuned machine, the selection and organization of each of this companies stores make REI feel obsolete.

A great place to try on Merrel, Clarks and other fantastic brands of shoes. Or shop for kids or camping. Feels good to support a good business.
