This shop focuses more on domestic vehicles, however they helped my out by responding to my inquiry and sending me to the correct shop(s) to get work done on my car.

I do work on the car myself and have been to some shops and even dealers but Pro Modular Performance is something else. Cant find a shop with better history in Austin or someone more knowledgeable about mustangs than Kirk. I went for a supercharger install and tune and oil pump gears and crank sprocket replacement. Kirk provided some parts and gave great communication, customer service, and even follow ups and car/parts inspection. Having had experience with other mechanics and even Ford dealerships, no one cares about their customers or cars more than this man. If youre worried about your car or big installs (from superchargers to turbos) just go to PMP and you wont be disappointed. I never really write reviews but believe me when I say this is the best shop Ive seen in terms of installs and customer service!

Extremely happy I found these guys!!!!I had been struggling for a while with a problem on my 2018 Mustang GT and banging my head around trying to find it and solve it. Obviously I was unsuccessful and after a lot of frustration, a good friend recommended PMP. Took the car over there and the first impression was as expected based on the reviews I read. Kirk, was professional, patient listening and taking notes of all the information about the problem, how to replicate symptoms, and right away told me, we will do our best to find it and make you happy and although you hear those words some other places, you can notice he and his crew do care about customer satisfaction. Drop off the car next day, a Saturday and at around 3pm I got the call... Tyler and Kirk found the problem and detailed to me, part was ordered and schedule for install Monday morning. I was extremely happy already but when I drove the car.....the improvement was amazing and my satisfaction at 1000% after being struggling with this issue for long time. When picking up the car, i had the privilege to check on custom jobs these guys are doing and I was really pleased i chose the right place!! Their knowledge and experience is at high levels for sure. The best Mustang Performance guys in USA, I installed with them long tubes headers in my V6 Mustang and they did excellent work in my car, I strongly recommend for everyone that need install performance in Mustang owners. Just check the pictures and you will see.

This is the only shop in Austin that I’m comfortable with working on my car. Staff at PMP are super professional and costumer oriented. One of the best performance shops in Texas, hands down .

I tried to give PMP money when a local Ford dealership was unable to get the right intake manifold after 3 months. Kirk first offered to give me a takeoff part for free if he had it. Then, when he didnt have it, he stopped what he was doing and started calling people in his network. 10 minutes later hed found the part in Houston, leaving me with convincing the local ship to make the call and secure the part. Two days later, the right part is on. Good looking out.

Kirk, at Pro Modular Performance, performed his magic on my 1968 Corvette. This fifty year old vehicle runs better than it ever has. In a day where everything is computer controlled and fuel injected, it is great to know that there are still people who know their way around the old school machines that require one to tune carburetors and use timing lights. Pro Modulars reviews on-line bragged on his expertise with modern muscle. I am glad to know that in addition to that, he has the ability to make my 327 be all that it can be.

Kirk and his guys are awesome to work with and know anything and everything there is to know about American Muscle cars. I had taken my 2011 Mustang GT to him and recently brought in my 2017 GT350 to have him look the car over. If you are in Austin and drive an American Muscle car, there is no place else you should take it!

Went to Pro Mod Performance for a tune after I rebuilt the motor on my 2001 Cobra. Before the rebuild I called around to a few shops and Kirk was the only one to take the time to walk me through my rebuild process and gave some helpful tips. Even after having trouble with it starting after the rebuild, one call to Kirk and he was able to point in in the right direction. Once running, I took the car in and Kirk was able to get the tune perfect. Found a faulty (or dying) fuel pump in the process. 10/10 would go back in a heart beat. Auto repair takes time and every time I dropped the car back I got it back quicker than I had expected.

Had a couple simple installs done for suspension on my Camaro, but Ive been looking around for a good shop in the Austin area. Everyone I talked too here was super friendly, knowledgeable, and more than willing to chat about what I was looking for in my car. Ill for sure be having more work done, and Ill be seeing these guys for it.

This place always works with me on small things (spark plugs) to large redoing what another mechanic shop (before I found these guys) said they did and didnt. They were straight forward with regard to options to fix my car and there were no cost surprises when I came to pick it up. I am originally from a small town where you know who is under your hood. You trust them. I trust these guys. Highly recommend them!

They are definitely nice people and maybe they are good at something but apparently they are not for not every car out there and judging by their inability to keep their work they definitely dont seem much of a reliable shop. Short story is that I stopped by to ask for a quote, I left my phone number, car info details about the car and pretty much everything it was needed for the quote, fast forward three days no call back no quote. At this point I am pretty sure I wouldnt take my car there even if theyd call, I just dont feel like being told your car will be ready in a month and in fact have it ready in a year or wasting time visiting them because they cant provide proper updates. If youre into Chevy maybe this is your shop but for any other cars ... keep on looking

I brought my 392 Daytona in for a front rotor and brake pad swap and they were attentive in every step throughout the whole process answering all of my questions and even giving me a few tips along the way can’t thank these guys enough and will be sure to bring my car back here for all of my future needs.

Brought my Zl1 to the guys at ProModular for a complete engine rebuild and tune. They did an excellent job and had no complaints when I asked them to add in a couple extra projects during the build. Follow up service is great and these guys won’t stop until your happy and your car is pulling like a monster.

Kirk and, his team at Pro modular performance is the place to go to for muscle cars, trucks and, SUVS ( Any Performance vehicle) My 2015 ford performance GT was having major idling issues/Back firing in park and, showing no codes. I took my car to different ford dealerships and, with no luck along with ford holding my car for multiple days they reported to find no issues. My car was backfiring in park! what do you mean no issues! So I contacted Kirk the Authority on Mustangs and, he found the issue the same day.....Spark plug number 3. My vehicle is running great and, now I get to enjoy my ride. Thank you Kirk and, PMP team! I will be going here from now on! (I have no idea why I went to the dealership)

Kirk built my engine and help me complete many projects. He knows high performance Mustangs for sure and is fair and helpful. Not sure what triggered that other bad review but what company doesnt have something bad happen or someone dissatisfied for some reason. I can only speak of my experience and what I have observed with others personally. Going back today to see him about something new.

They installed a new engine in my mustang gt and they didn’t wire the alternator correctly which resulted in it burning out shortly after driving it from their shop. Took it to ford and they documented that the wiring was messed up. These people took 5 months to install the engine in the first place and took weeks to return calls on the progress. Car never worked right after they “fixed” it. Have documentation and grounds to back a lawsuit. Dont use this place.

The whole team was awesome, took care of my 01 Bullitt. I just bought a 5 liter and will be taking it them as well. I recommend driving there and talking to them instead of calling though.

Thank you, Pro Modular Performance (PMP), for turning my 2014 Mustang GT into something I truly love. I know nothing about cars and was looking for a mechanic shop I could drop my car off and install some parts I bought online. I was also looking for some upgrade recommendations. PMP installed my online bought parts and had some other upgrades shipped to their shop that they also installed. They are professional from the front desk to the shop. I was more excited driving my car off the PMP lot, than when I drove it off the dealership lot. I set back, let the professionals do their job, and I couldn’t be happier. This is where I will be taking my Mustang too from here on out. Take your car to Pro Modular Performance, you be happy you did.

If I could give this place 20 stars I would. I have never seen such great customer service. I had some issues with a 2018 camero that had right at 3000 miles on it. First I have to say, I’m not a gear head and neither is my husband. I had no interest in having a suped up race car. I’m not into all the fancy stuff people do with their performance cars. I just wanted a nice car that gets good gas mileage. So, for me to end up at this shop was by pure chance, well, not really. Kirt was the very first place in Austin to take in my new car and look at it. They are very, very busy. There are so many cars there it’s kinda, sorta hard to find a place to park, by all means that is not a bad thing, I think it’s a good thing, because that means people trust them to work on their high dollar cars. He tried something he thought might have been the problem and was very honest with me from the start. He didn’t get to fix the problem, but he took it among his self to fight it out with the dealership. Not only did he call them, let them know what exactly was going on, but he even dropped the car off for us! I’m not 100% sure what he said to them, but they were on it immediately and had the car fixed the same day! And when we called they refused to even speak with us about the car because it had an after market muffler on it. He totally went out of his way to do the best he could for us, although he has so much other work that will make him lots of money! I appreciate this company more than words can express because if it wasn’t for him.. we would probably still be lost and would still be looking for answers. He was so informative and patient. This is definitely the place to go! I’m so thankful we stumbled into this place. Now my husband wants to do some stuff to the car, but I think he will have to wait, but when we do decide it’s time, we will not even consider another place. This is the place to go for sure! OUTSTANDING customer service. Thanks so much guys!!! Y’all truly are the best!!

This place feels like home... I called Kirk to see if they could install an upgraded intercooler and spark plugs on my 15 Mustang Ecoboost and he was more than happy to help. I told him the part was on the way; when it shipped in, they installed it the very next day. I chatted with Kirk about some of my concerns with my current tune and he offered to tune my car after the intercooler was installed (the same day). These guys really make you feel welcomed... Ill definitely be back!P.S. - the car performs awesome now 👌

I was looking for a shop to help me improve the performance and handling of my 2017 Silverado. Thought Id start with something basic - had Pro Modular install and set up my rear anti-sway bar. I was very pleased with the work, and got a good feeling from the owner, Kirk. They took good care of me and my new truck, and the final bill was under the estimate. Ill be back!
