We come here every year for my daughters birthday treat. I love books and have bought quite a few here as well, I just prefer the less expensive online route like Thriftbooks these days, but I still appreciate a good bookstore for sure. Love all of the health and wellness books! One could definitely get lost in here.

Great place to have coffee relax buy and good book....but as funny as this may seem I love the puzzle selection as well.

As much as I like supporting a particular local Book store full of People, this is the place to go in northwest Austin. Broad selection of books and games, including board and card games for all ages. Convenient location, and competitive with any brick-and-mortar. If you want something to read today, instead of waiting for online purchases to get delivered, treat yourself!

Barnes and Noble is BN is BN. Size and layout may change but they are always the same. Staff is helpful and generally knowledgeable about what they have and where to find it in the store.

I just registered for B&N membership and bought a bunch of mangas. Even though on the online webpage says they were available, when I placed the order I found out on the email receipt that I’ll be getting some on June/July/August all the way to December!Don’t you do inventory??? You’re basically lying to your customers saying the product is available online just to found out it’s not anymore and one has to wait months to get it! Lesson learned, I should’ve just stuck to Amazon.Another thing was the awful packing and the state of the package when delivered. The books weren’t wrapped up in plastic and oh my gosh, they almost don’t make it in good condition due to the all beaten up package. It looks like someone played soccer with it! Awful first experience! I don’t think I’ll be renewing my membership at all.

I was in the store on Saturday 4/17/21. They told my daughter to leave the store because her mask would not stay up. The mask mandate has been removed by Governor Abbot, yet this store wants to continue to inconvience those who would spend money in their store.

One phone call earned this place yet but another 5 star review. The lady I spoke to was so dang nice. She searched and searched for the book I was looking for and then got back to me with so much info about it and when it was due to come out to stores. Like this store, but became confusing after the reorganization on the first floor and the technology book selection was shortened down quite noticeably. Couldnt find the cybersecurity books I was looking for during my recent visit.

I keep getting great books here and online ordering with store pickup is a breeze.

Book stores need to be welcoming and a little bit private. B&N is your large open book store with almost no sitting space to enjoy before you by. It is always quiet because it has few people. This one has a HUGE TOY section. Why? no idea. But there were at least 4 isles of toys between you and the kids books.

We love this Barnes and Noble. The staff are always friendly and helpful!! We enjoy perusing the isles and searching for the next best find. Our youngest son enjoys the puzzles and YA section. We have bought everything from stationary to books to movies to puzzles to gifts and so much more here. It’s worth a visit! We are Members and enjoy the % off in the Cafe and on our purchased items. Highly recommend!!

Wow, they reorganized. The reason for not having 5 stars is Samantha, the cashier was extremely rude causing this entire trip to be quite a disappointment. She did not honor the yellow and orange strips for price adjustments. Seemed super annoyed that I had questions about signing up for a Barnes and Noble membership. So Needless to say I did not sign up for the membership and I probably wont be returning to this B&N

TERRIBLE experience with cashier Katrina Kat 12:13 p.m. on 9/19/20 at Barnes & Noble ( Lakeline Crossing/Hwy 183 in Austin, Tx -- Homestead Shopping Center).Rude and unhelpful employees like this are the exact reason that more and more customers (including me, now) are choosing to make their purchases via Amazon/online instead of putting up with the attitude and hassle of going into B&N.

Great place to buy a book, grab a coffee, and sit back and relax for a bit. The staff is always super nice and helpful. If they dont currently have what you are looking for they will always see if they can order it for you. If you like books and coffee check it out.

Last of the great book store experiences. Awesome sales girl listened to what I wanted and suggested All the light we cannot see which is one of the best books I have ever read. Spend time here, spend money here. Keep it alive.

If youve been to Barnes and Noble then this is no different than the rest in my opinion. Staff were friendly but unfortunately the books I needed werent available here. The books that I did find were higher prices then Amazon and no price matching to be done. I guess thats the price you pay for having it now? If you dont know exactly what you want then great place to check out if not then get online.

This is the last major bookstore chain left in the area. Everyone should make an effort to visit their local bookstore and make a purchase at least once a month. Dont read books? They have toys and games and other knick knacks. Stop in for a coffee, tea or cookie. Have to use the restroom? They have you covered. Make an effort people, or we lose bookstores forever. Donate the books when you are done with them. If you live in Austin, take them to the VA, or call your local library. Give them to a friend. Have an indoor mall nearby? People love finding random books on benches at the mall! And above all folks...read! Please, please read a book. Then another. And another.

The place is nice and clean. Service was great. The light was very soft, so I could relax in a heartbeat. I do not drink Starbucks coffee at all, but I was surprised that my Late did tested good. I just kissed a little more inviting decoration, flowers and soft classic music which is perfect to read, study and rest

My 9 year old loves to read. When I take her to Barnes and Noble she could stay for hours and it is rare that she would leave empty handed. This is a smaller location compared to the one at the Arboretum but easy to get into and just more cozy and welcoming. Staff has always been great too.

I Love this store, minus one of your rude a** employees. (Hence 4 stars out of 5). I was greeted at the door with um, sorry but we are closed. I showed her the time, we did some simple math together, concluded that I indeed had 11 minutes to get what I needed. Next time, welcome in paying clients and politely let them know the closing time and then ask if they need assistance to find what they were looking for. Client gets what they need and the employee still gets to close on time. Win win. Maybe next time youll get 5 stars. But for now enjoy the 4.

The staff here is wonderful! They had the book that I wanted, and I was lucky enough to snag one of the last two copies they had in stock. From the cashier to the barista in the cafe, everybody was so pleasant and helpful. They even gave me a coupon for coffee so I could enjoy a nice cup and start on my new book. Would highly recommend to anybody looking for a relaxing environment to kick back and enjoy their favorite book, new or old! Customers are also super friendly and I even made a couple friends. I like that this barnes and noble is one level. Always greeted when we enter and asked if we need help finding anything. Weve also been to a few story times and those are always lovely.

I really like these stores,they are clean and well stocked with plenty of books and DVDS, you can have coffee or a lite snack, if you would like to read the book you are thinking of buying or just relax for a while they have a sitting area thats very comfortable.

Books and clothes are two things that are much, much better to shop for in person than online. My only problem at B&N is finding too many books that I would love to read. Enjoyed having an iced coffee during my last visit.

Love this Barnes and Noble, great select. Kids section is usually always clean. I can normally always find an attendant. Books are organized. Clearance is nice and organized not ransacked.

I love spending hours in ANY bookstore. Gift items and such are pretty expensive but I like looking at them, anyway. I usually end up purchasing bargain books unless its a gift. So much to choose from, I always enjoy my visits.

Great location! It is also nice that there is a media store at this store. Books, games, movies and music - this is a one stop shop. I recommend getting their rewards card. It costs a bit, but you get some great coupons throughout the year. Also, you cant beat the Criterion 50% off sale that pops up twice a year.

Though I liked the books here. I was not clearly explained membership benefits at counter. I wanted to cancel the membership which I could not cancel which was wired to me. I had to go back and forth store and customer representative on phone because of incorrect information provided. It was bad customer experience and would not visit here again

Slightly swag records & books

One of the most well-stocked libraries in the area, even though their checkout policy is non-existent. Great deals on the constant, but Lego, Gudetama, and Hello Kitty stuff is really, ridiculously pricey.

Good place for a coffee and dessert plus all types of gift items. Not just books even though that is the main draw. Its a very relaxing spot.
