Joel and Shawn answered my request promptly. Another euro shop was unable to properly fill my transmission - I asked Them what they wanted for labor to top it off with two quarts. They said nothing. This is a shop that wants to earn business and build trust. There are other shops that would charge an hour just to put the car on the lift. While its unreasonable to request any shop work for free, and since didnt, theyre now getting paid business from me next week for work on my 135i. Thats how you do it.They ended up only needing to put in 1 quart of fluid. I had some car talk with the folks there and theyre enthusiasts themselves. Always great to see.In summary, Ive found the new shop that will be caring for my 135i, 640i and GTI. Any shop who isnt out for every last dime and shows they care about relationships with customers and building trust deserves to be given a chance. A+

Dr euromaster is a great repair shop! I took my 2013 Mini Paceman to them and they were able to help me diagnose some issues and repair them at a fair price! I would highly recommend this shop for any European vehicle.

The owner of this auto shop took such great care of my BMW X6. I had a minor problem with a leak in my windshield washer fluid system and they repaired it in no time. I had previously taken my X6 to a different auto shop and they were unable to diagnose and fix the problem (I don’t think they normally work on BMWs.) Very happy to have found a seamless and efficient repair shop that I trust with my car! I will definitely be back here if I have any other issues!

Shawn was terrific. Most shops wanted $150 diagnostic fee upfront. Shawn didn’t charge and looked at engine light problem. Determined it was air intake valve crack (he showed me) and also did a thorough multi point inspection around car (bmw x3). Gave me a very fair quote ordered part and I was back next morning and it was installed quickly and he also changed out a brake lightbulb for free. Great place to go even though slightly far away for me. I’ll be back with my wife’s Mercedes when the warranty is expired and will also bring my toyota as well!

Does exceptional work with great turnaround times on services.Any issues I have are handled, and there is never extra unnecessary work done or pushed.The owner is exceptionally responsive and communicative. He will take the time to show you everything in person if desired, and also provides photos of service.Edit: I have BMWs currently, including a Z4m coupe. I have also gotten my 2007 Nissan Xterra serviced there. They fixed issues that others failed to diagnose correctly. What the others wanted to charge me was outrageous compared to the actual issues that needed resolved and were handled gracefully by this shop for a very reasonable sum.

I called on a Saturday and asked if they could do an initial diagnostic on some codes that flashed on the Dashboard of a vehicle I was potentially going to purchase. They said yes, free of charge. Brought it in, they lifted it up and gave me the news. “It’s definitely been in a crash of some sort in the front, rotors are grinding, metal to metal, screws have been drilled to cover up work.” And that was before they even checked the code for the power steering....I thanked them a million. Told them I wanted to pay them because they literally saved me a bunch of money on future expenses, hassle, and misery.” The owner said NO, no charge. I said no sir your are seriously saving a purchase and problems. “NO, I’m the owner free of charge and I’m glad I helped you.” In a time during a pandemic when small businesses are hurting, it’s rare to come across genuine businessI’ like this who just want to do the right thing. Highly recommend!

Joel and Shaun are Master Mechanics with huge hearts. They completely fixed my car when it had been misdiagnosed elsewhere and did not even charge me for it since it was electrical. They fixed my CD player and another light when they retrained the battery or whatever else they did and even did something else to help that they mentioned that I did not understand. They provided so much. I had gone there with my baby and they were honest and basically heroic. Now my car is running smoothly!! I trust them and will recommend them and plan to return!

Over a month ago, I ended up in one of those situations that puts everything in your life at a standstill. My engine malfunctioned as I was about to enter the freeway so I did the most sensible thing at the time and had my car towed to the closest shop with the best reputation. Before I get into the actual review, I want to inform the reader of a few things to keep in mind so they dont end up making the same mistake I did. If you call ahead of time and do a little research, you will know that Joel is basically the face of 911 DR. When I got to the lot where there were several garages, I assumed that one side belonged to 911 DR while the other belonged to another repair shop. What I didnt know was that there is this guy by the name of Frank who hangs around there sometimes and will go with the flow, probably sensing your desperate circumstances, and give you the impression that everything is in good hands once you hand him your keys. It wasnt until my girlfriend had decided to call 911 DR that I realized that I had been swindled. Apparently, this was a recurring pattern that others before me had the misfortune of falling victim to and 911 DR wasnt the only one whose toes he had been stepping on. I should have known that something was amiss when he didnt provide an estimate or any kind of paperwork. Just for reference, 911 DR is the last garage all the way in the back on the left.That being said, 911 DR is definitely a worthwhile investment if youre experiencing mechanical failures. Joel constantly kept me updated with picture messages and always did his best to explain the issues and his plan of action in a way that was comprehensible to someone who knows little to nothing about vehicle maintenance and repair. The work would usually be done well before the estimated day of completion. I want to apologize once again for the stress and financial strain that I may have caused because of my lack of preparedness for this kind of occurrence and am only glad that your team could be compensated for their hard work in the end with minimal losses, I hope. I will definitely be coming back when my car needs work done on it again as long as I am living in this area. Thank you!

The customer service at this location is terrific. They came by my house to jump my car so I could get it to the shop, dropped off my car at my apartment and even offered me a personal vehicle if they took more time on it. I wouldve given 5 stars just for the customer service alone.Price wise during a pandemic where nobody has the money to spend 400+ dollars on a service definitely not ideal. I went in not knowing exactly what was wrong with it. We came to find out the only thing that was wrong was my battery which is only a 160 dollar fix. (Obviously without the labor) I was charged for a diagonistic, which I appreciate but that brought a 200 dollar fix up to a 400 dollar bill. I received 30 dollars off the order, but honestly for the amount of trouble this has been and the fact that I had to miss a whole days pay because of this ordeal (not completely the shops fault but still), I wouldnt suggest this place. I couldve gotten my battery replaced and a diagonstic at Autozone for less money. Really disappointed in how this shop handled everything. I feel swindled out of money during the biggest economic crisis weve had in the US since the Great Depression. I get that everyone needs to make their buck, but since nothing else was wrong with my car I wish they had maybe been a little more considerate on their final bill.

I had great experience at 911DR Auto Repair. They has been taken care of my Audi very carefully, the air condition wasnt working and they solve the problem replacing the part in a few days. This place is a true Diamond in the Rough. Joel is owner. My oil/filter was changed with instruments reset at a reasonable price; and waited only 25 minutes. I was immediately impressed how clean & organized his shop is kept (no greasy floors!). He worked many years as lead dealership mechanic for Porsche, BMW, Volvo, Audi, etc. I quizzed him and he gave very knowledgeable answers. Hes courteous, sharp, & 1st class guy. Ill be back with my Volvo instead of going to the Volvo dealer.

I had several repairs done at this shop on multiple cars. By far, this is the most professional mechanic I have ever met. The diagnosis is excellent as well as the work performed. You don’t come across honest, good mechanics. Don’t pay dealer prices on foreign cars - they specialize on German cars, but perform work on any make and model.

Called in a oil and cabin filter change on a Saturday and it was done within the day. Got my car back and Will was able to show me that I had three nails in my front tires and that I needed a tire rotation as well as I had 30% brake capacity on my front tires. These guys really care about their customers and are knowledgeable about all cars.

The day after driving through some puddles during a recent rainstorm, the check engine light came on in my 2006 Volvo XC70. After running my car for a few minutes, I noticed that it seemed to not be firing on all five cylinders. Worried that water may have made its way into the engine, I decided not to risk driving my car and instead had it towed to 911 DR Auto Repair per the advice of a friend. Due to additional rainstorms over the next few days, I decided it’d be best to wait for the weather to clear up before having my Volvo towed the 20+ miles from South Austin to North Austin to have it worked on. Joel—the technician—was patient and told me to have the car delivered to his shop whenever worked best for me.Once my car was in Joel’s hands, he quickly and efficiently diagnosed every single thing wrong with it. Boy, am I glad he did! Water had seeped into an ignition coil through a cracked seal, rendering one of my spark plugs useless. Joel also found several other things wrong with my car (that I was unaware of) which had made driving it potentially dangerous; including two bad control arms in the front, a snapped bolt on the front axle, and three of four wheel hub bearings were bad. If I hadn’t taken my car to 911 DR Auto Repair, there was a good chance that worse things could’ve happened to my car and to myself.Being new to Austin, I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to find an honest and reliable mechanic. But I’m happy to say that I’ve found one in Joel at 911 DR Auto Repair on Research Boulevard. He took the time to show me each and every part which needed to be replaced and explained in entirety how they work and why they had failed. The service was excellent and the prices were fair. Not only will I be taking my current Volvo back for all of its future services, but I will also have Joel check my next potential automobile prior to purchase to ensure that it’s up to par!

I finally found an auto shop that is thrusts-worthy. My Mini Cooper was over heating so I took it to a local European auto specialist but it turned out that they we’re clueless and didn’t know how to fix it. The lead technician gave me two different diagnostics and they were both wrong. I recall my coworker highly recommended DR Euromaster Auto Repair so I proceed to contact then while the other technicians were still debating over the correct diagnosis. Joel at Dr euromaster gave me the solid diagnostic. In fact, he hit the nail on the head, he certainly told me the water pump was bad. I took the mini to the shop on 183north and Anderson mill, he completed the job while I enjoyed a cup of coffee. I’m very happy with the service and the prices are incredible!!! I had a brake service here after comparing with other german car shops.One of the shop near metric was expensive and the other shop near lamar they raised the price within 3 months interval.These 911 dr guys(Joel and Sean?) are the expert and very friendly, also they checked the system and told me to get a service with dealer warranty.There is starbucks near by so I didnt have any problem waiting and actually they finished very quickly.Great service, Great price.I own porsche cayman.
