Auburn Honda is a different kind of dealership because of the people. From Phil, in sales, the manager Paul, and financial services, they all were kind, truly helpful, and they gave us the time to think about what decision we needed to make without pressure. We looked at 4 different dealerships, but we bought at Auburn because they are genuine and trustworthy. This dealership even sends personalized handwritten thank you cards. I have never seen this done before in all the years we have bought new cars.

Buying experience- Buying a new vehicle can be a pain, not so at Auburn Honda. Tom/Hector were great to work with, providing a competitive price on a specific vehicle with NO PRESSURE. The same was true for Jamie/Paul regarding our decision to take advantage of an excellent Honda finance offer. Personable staff, they gave us a great experience.I’m a first time buyer. I have a pretty good credit score, but because I never took out a loan and don’t have loan history, the interest rate my bank offered me was ridiculous. I re-applied with a co-signer, which lowered my interest rate to 3.5% but I didn’t like not being the primary on my own loan.We explained this to them, and Auburn Honda managed to give me a loan offer on a used car at only 3% with no co-signer.Also, I got a beautiful Honda Accord Sport at an extremely good price.Other than that, during our test drive, I noticed there were scratches on the windshield and Gary resolved the issue quickly.The process was straightforward and they were generally quick to respond, accommodating, and warm.

I really wanted to like this dealership, because I wanted to buy local, but the salesman I interacted with just would not allow that to happen. He was incredibly pushy and even condescending from the moment he walked up to me, and he would not leave me alone until I got into my car to drive away. If you just want to look around at your own pace, I would not recommend this dealership.

We had a stellar experience at Auburn Honda, everyone was so helpful and professional, but with a great personal touch. Hector did a fantastic job helping us find the right vehicle and we are so in love with our car, we almost forgot to write a review! Paul in the finance department did a great job too, and we cant leave Kevin out because even though he is on medical leave, he was the one we reached out to first and he helped guide us to the best vehicle for us and the right people to make that happen. I brought my car in the end of last summer last year to get the AC fixed because it would work on and off. I was told it would cost $250 to diagnose it and that would go toward the cost of fixing the problem. He mentioned no leaks and something about the system needing cleaned out (you know I’m not a mechanic that’s obviously why I take my car to a shop) and apparently that in the “future” the compressor needs replaced. Well apparently all they did was recharge the Freon, and not actually diagnose the issue considering it still doesn’t work SOMETIMES. So yes I paid $250 something to get Freon put in my car and still have an issue with the AC that wasn’t diagnosed. Thanks.On top of that I also had the check VSA Light “diagnostic” the same time as the check engine light. (Also last summer) They didn’t diagnose that either and said maybe it just needed cleared or reset. The light came back on the next day and when I called to mention it he told me it must be a DIFFERENT ISSUE. Unfortunately it’s hard to find an honest mechanic these days or one that actually takes time to listen to what is going on with your car to accurately assess the issue, especially being a girl SMH. Done with this place.

Great experience car shopping which sometimes isnt. Junior was great not, pushy, knowledgeable, and listens. From the time we chose our Honda Passport EXL to the time we drove it off the lot, their was some one to answer any question we had. Junior even stayed past closing to give us a run down on how everything worked and if we needed any extra help all we had to do is call. Tom the finance guy was helpful as well and didnt try to push into buying anything we didnt want. Thanks everyone at Auburn Honda for helping us get the vehicle we wanted without the headache. I recently started going to Auburn Honda for services. My dad is a huge fan of Jess Prestridge so I requested him also. I went for an oil change and to get my side mirror assessed (was a bit wobbly from an impact). Jess was super great. He was direct and knowledgeable about my mirror and it didnt feel upselly or salesy. He looked for the best available deal on my oil change, without me even asking, which was a pleasant surprise. They even buffed out some scuff marks on my car, free of charge. Last oil change I had was also a great experience. Great straight forward folks here. Definitely coming back.

As far as buying cars is concerned, I was very pleased with my experience at Auburn Honda. I was looking for a hard to find used Toyota Tacoma with manual transmission and used Car Gurus and Auto Traders to find it. I called Auburn Honda and Tom answered my questions in a low pressure manner. They placed a hold on the truck until I got there and Rob walked me thru the sales. Tim in finance was cool and even the sandwich lady(didnt get her name) was cool and the sandwich was great(dont eat before you shop there!). All in all I think the staff at Auburn Honda was great.

Had a service appointment. We had a small issue with our vehicle. We took it in to Auburn Honda and it was from a previous repair, done by them. The openly acknowledged it and fixed it at no charge. I appreciate their honesty. It was a small mistake on their side, that would not have caused any damage to our car. But I feel they are trustworthy. They are never high pressure to do more.They have a very nice waiting room, with small refreshments. The staff are courteous.

Unfortunately, I could not give 0 stars. I have a used 2013 Honda Pilot in December 2017. Less than two months after purchase I was back at Honda with a dead battery. The battery was tested and was way below the red line indicating it well below standards. I was told this car should not have been sold to me with the battery in this condition. Honda kindly gave me a “brand new battery”. Less than a year later my battery is completely dead, and I am expected to pay for a new one. I showed up to Honda in Auburn, after getting my car jumped to have Stuart tell me that he is correct in what he told me... and that they will not pay for a new battery for me, although I was clearly given a faulty one. I am very disappointed to say the least. As a business owner myself it is fair to do what is right, and unfortunately Honda in Auburn did not. Beware, I was told that if they replace your battery that they do not test the battery before putting it in your car because that would be very time consuming. Mind. BLOWN.

I bought my used 2014 honda accord hybrid from these guys and they were really nice and tried their best to get me the best loan for the car. At the time I was new to credit so many banks didnt want to take me so I didnt get a good loan deal but I took it anyways and then a couple days later they messaged me and told me to come back to sign for a better deal they found. The fact that even after the purchase and signing of all the paper work they kept looking for a better deal for me shows they want to give you a good deal and help you out. I highly recommend these guys if you want a Honda from a dealership. The Honda has also been running great which is why trust a dealers more even if it costs a bit more.

My son had an appointment with the Service Dept. yesterday. He was told to bring his car the night before and leave it so a Mechanic could crank it the next morning to hear the sound it makes when cranked first thing because it only does it then and that could be the VTC Actuator. If it was that it would take all day to fix.First of all they never told him where exactly to leave his car so he parked it where he though it would be out of the way. When he goes to pick up his car before closing, they tell him that one of the Service writers had to move his car. Well of course since the Mechanic didnt move it, the Mechanic never heard the noise it makes and never heard it. He also left them a note to check over his car and complete the form that he had left for them to complete for Uber. So they kept his car all day without checking it out and without calling him to let him know anything or that he could go ahead and pick it up. Then told him he would have to make another appointment to bring it back again.He is a student and teaches at the University and dont have all the time in the world to convenience the Honda shop, that is why he had made this appointment over a week ago!He will not be scheduling another appointment, but instead will have it all taken care of at the Honda dealership in Dothan.Thanks for nothing!

*Update* Dont complain about this place! Apparently the mechanic took it personal and told a mutual acquaintance he was going to cause me physical harm because i complained! *Beware* Had a transmission replaced under cert used contract. they stripped bolts left stuff loose and my exhaust rattled. I brought it back and the problem only marginally went away. I even told them how to duplicate the rattle. they had my car all day! I picked up the car drove home (rattle was still there) I got out stethoscope and found the problem. (took me 5 min) I would of gladly paid to have this noise fixed but apparently they are too lazy to do proper diagnostic work. Apparently they hire glorified lube tech to do major work on customers cars! After being threatened by the mechanic i no longer feel safe going here, hopefully management take this seriously and rectify the situation. When I told them what was said they seemed more concerned that the person who told me to watch out and given me the heads up. It did not make me feel safe at all!

After a few years of driving another make of car, I knew I wanted another Honda CR-V so I did some research. Looked at lot of vids on YouTube, read a lot of reviews, checked prices on Kelly Blue Book, and finally narrowed it down to the generation 4 models of the CR-V. I saw one I liked on Auburn Hondas website and sent an email. Junior called me and we set an appointment for the next day at 9am. The car I wanted had everything I was looking for: late model car, low mileage, one owner, well maintained, well priced, complimentary oil changes for two years, and the vehicle was Certified Pre-Owned. They gave me a very fair trade-in deal for my old car and I left very satisfied.I didnt feel pressured and Junior (salesperson) and Tim (finance guy) were both very respectful and professional--easy to deal with--a great buying experience. Something I thought was important is that they dont buy auction cars--their business is mostly local trade-ins. I would highly recommend Auburn Honda for new or used cars. Happy to do business with them.

Great easy place to buy a new or used car. We have now bought two cars here, a brand new 2019 CRV. A fantastic car. Super fun to drive an no problems an a good warrerenty. An a used pilot 2012. Another great suv. Both cars were purchased from Alan Madsen. A very calm easy going nice man. No pressure sales an a fun guy to talk hockey with. The service to get a oil change has been fast an easy an has not taken more then a hour. They even serve fresh made sandwiches and hot coffee, hot tea an hot chocolate while you wait. Went there a couple of times to look for a vehicle. One of the salesmen was great (so I cant say the entire place is bad). But when you start to ask for numbers and talk about purchased, as anyone whos purchased a vehicle knows, a sales manager would come in. Well the sales manager came in, and was rude, started an argument and made it so bad, that I would not refer anyone to do business there. If you cant treat people with respect than how do you expect to get business? Not to mention they tried to sell me a 2017 vehicle for $3,000 more than a dealership that was going to sell a 2018. Hope they dont sucker someone into over paying.

So after we took the car on a test drive it was purchased rather quickly. They were so nice there and I received 6 months of free maintenance. I love the car I purchased there.
