Rowe was careful not to promise service that they could not guarantee, but followed through with providing service 12 days prior to the expected wait for my vehicle to be serviced! They helped me find a rental vehicle (nothing short of a miracle given the current shortage) and were generous with billing. Every staff member was kind and courteous. This is, by far, the best VW garage that has serviced our vehicles... I would highly recommend the Auburn location to anyone.

Your mechanics are crooks! I was told I needed brakes all around and that the rear brakes were frozen. They were not! In fact they were barely needed and were not needed at all out front! I received an estimate for $2500.00 for those and other repairs for a inspection sticker. Needless to say but I went some where else and spent less than $500.00 for everything!! I did need a replacement of my climate control module which was covered by my warranty so I made an appointment to wait, which should have taken one to one and a half hours. I waited four and a half hours to be told they hadn’t even touched it!! I had to come back again!! I was given a loaner and was able to pick up my car the next day. I will never bring my car there for anything other than warranty work again!

This service appointment was very professionally handled. My car was taken in promptly when I arrived and the whole process took less than the estimated time of 2.5 - 3 hrs. The explanation of the service and their findings were spot-on.

I was using a regular garage and had 3 different issues where they almost seized my engine. I usually dont go to the dealership because they are overpriced, but it seems like here you get what you pay for. I pay them more, but I know the job is done right and my car is taken care of.

Poor service and lack of understanding of what the problem was. Received the “run around” and when calling to check on status of vehicle was told the person working on my car had left for the day. In the end, they wanted me to come in to take the mechanic for a test drive. I am in healthcare and haven’t been in the same room as my parents for months, clearly would not feel comfortable in a vehicle with a complete stranger. In the end just gave up and will go to a more reputable VW dealer.

I didn’t like that I was quite a price and then was told it will be $50.00 more because the tech didn’t expect to the transmission took more transmission oil. I didn’t like that I had to pay for parts before service was done.

The kid i dealt with was very nice. This review has no bad marks on him. I went in for a check engine light diagnostic. Was offered a free car wash but never recieved it. Wanted a loaner car but was told none were available. Diagnostic came back with $2000 worth of work to be done. I only wanted some of it done but was told if i did it all they could find me a loaner car. Hhhmmm strange none was available a minute ago. Was quoted $500 for parts but my husband called vw parts service and they quoted him $300 for the same exact parts. Seems really shady to upcharge someone wanting to use your service but charge less for a walk in person to just buy the parts. Needless to say i took my car to someone else who charged less than half of what i was quoted. Unfortunately i wont be going back anytime soon.

Isaiah was friendly and helpful, and seemed to truly care about helping find the vehicle I wanted. Andre Lester stepped in and the experience went downhill fast. He refused to confirm the interest rate on a loan with me, and ended up screaming and swearing at my husband when he tried to call and confirm the info for me.After looking throughout northern New England for a vehicle in a specific color and package, I knew that there were not many of them, and if I wanted it, I needed to move ahead with the purchase. So I went back to Rowe to purchase the vehicle. Upon arriving, the interest rate was not 1.9%, as advertised by VW, and what I tried confirming it would be. Andre came over and was again extremely rude and informed me that I had agreed to the interest rate so he wasn’t going to do anything. I left the dealership.Later, Eric emailed me and asked if there was anything they could do to get my business back. Eric was also friendly, and after several conversations and a confirmed interest rate, price of the vehicle and price for my trade, I went back and purchased the vehicle. After driving off the lot, I realized that there was a scratch on the steering wheel that had not been there when I test drove the vehicle. The dealership called and emailed me the next day demanding insurance info on the vehicle, because they had forgotten to get it while I was there. After providing them with the info, I informed them of the scratch on the steering wheel. After going back and forth with Rowe, involving Volkswagen Customer Care, and going back and forth some more with Rowe, I finally received a new steering wheel 3 months after purchasing the vehicle. They were kind enough to provide me with a rental while they performed the work.It is a shame that the dealership allows Andre to conduct business in the manner that he does, and because of my experience dealing with him, I will not return to nor recommend Rowe Auburn to anyone.

Meh. Took them two months to get brakes in for my car, they mis-scheduled me once, then flipped me to the other side of the business, then didn’t really know what they were supposed to do, then it cost $1k for front and rear brakes. Mostly I go here because I’m too lazy to find someone else who could work on an Ioniq Hybrid.

I purchased a new 2019 Beetle convertible from Rowe a week ago...I was traveling a distance and called the dealership to be sure the car I saw online was still available. I own 3 VWs all TDiS, one I purchased here, one of my other ones has been serviced here, with out a doubt this is the worst place you could bring a car. Had A/C fixed $1,100, still didnt work, then quoted $4,200 for A/C repair??? (Its a VW 2010 jetta tdi, worth $5K)They have had the car several times, recently about a month ago, just had some tire work done and brakes are a mess. They are not detailed and I have a complete lack of trust of this place.

AgoI’ve had an amazing experience there at VW Row Auburn! My salesmen were Kyle & Tyler, both provided #Tremendous service! They were #Honest, #Patient and most importantly provided #Excellent customer service!We’ve owned a Infiniti JX35 that we’ve traded in for a brand new VW Tiguan 2018. It was the right fit for my wife due to the JX35 being too big of a vehicle for my wife. These guys took their time to have us test drive couple vehicles and after a hard thought we’ve went ahead with the Tiguan! Very impressive vehicle! Most important concern was gas mpg savings and with a 21mpg city and 27 highway this was a lot better than 17-18 city and 22 highway with the JX35!Thank you very much for your excellent service! Will be doing business with you both soon again. Looking into trading in my VW Passat next year and looking forward to purchasing from you again soon!
