The cutest little store! The employees were BEYOND helpful. We had the best time playing in the pumpkin patch with the little one! Will definitely be back at Christmas to get a tree.
Like others have said, its EXPENSIVE, and I guess Id expect a little more attentiveness to warrant that? Not sure they even care about taking the money, though. The checkout line is SLOOOOOW (I had to walk out after waiting and waiting...and waiting...for the group at the register in front of me to expedite their purchase. As in, one of the party had time to wander back and forth several times - not even adding items - and they STILL hadnt gotten to the payment portion of the transaction, just chatting while the line stacked up in the tiny, cramped space. My kids were starving, so I just had to leave my second batch of items and run out the door once I couldnt wait any longer. On the plus side, the pumpkins are cool, and the kids had fun... But for the frustration, I feel even more price gouged, and that sucks because I was really excited to visit this place and make it part of my regular stomping grounds. Ah well. At least we got one batch from the patch.
Just when you thought it wasn’t possible for the people who work at this store to be any less attentive or demonstrate any level of customer care - they actually just keep finding new ways to turn customers away. The sales people, on a weekend, seemingly know nothing about the inventory, but still demonstrate great arrogance when they are asked perfectly reasonable questions. Seriously, I’ve tried to spend money here and continuously no one ever seems to care about customer service at all.If the owners read this - Please - give your staff some customer service training!!! Or, lower your prices so we don’t have any expectations of the staff being helpful.Walking out - once again!!!
We reached out to Tradition Market and Garden to help our preschool plan and plant a garden. Matt and Jay came up with a plan and navigated to our urban preschool location to direct our students through the planting process. Gardner Jay was awesome and the kids loved their planting experience! Its a busy time for Tradition and we appreciate that they took time out of their busy schedule to help our children bloom and grow in more ways than one! - Keri, Owner, Primrose School of Midtown at Colony Square
I’m sharing this review on behalf of my dad. He said Robbie went above and beyond to help him get his Uhaul attached. He was grateful for the service and would recommend them to anyone in Atlanta looking to move!
Had a great visit today! Went in for gardening supplies, and also discovered a wonderful local food market! They had fresh produce, GA-made products, local soaps, lotions and cleaners, and even fresh coffee! They’re looking to build out some bulk food too, which I can’t wait to see.The gentlemen in the garden section helped me pick out plants and created a custom herb garden for me. They also potted me a tomato plant and a rosemary plant in some separate terra cotta containers. They consulted me about space and light to make sure I was getting the right plants and herbs. They also build custom planters, which I’ll have to come back for when I’m ready to make a larger garden! Definitely stop in here for the plants, the help, and all the local products.
Great locally owned gardening center that also has lots of fun gift ideas- locally made jewelry, soaps, photography, etc. Even has delicious frozen dinners to bring home and throw into your oven. Love it!
Firewood -- I was so impressed with the ordering processing and even more with the delivery and stacking. So much so, that I provided a neighbor a reference to Traditions within 24 hrs of receiving the delivery. However, I have now ATTEMPTED using this firewood for 2 fires, and after 2 hours of leaving the gas starter on, the wood will literally not hold a flame. It was marketed as seasoned wood, but it is burning (or not) as if it was cut down yesterday. I have contacted the company and will update this review with their response.
Best experience ever. Matt and his team at Tradition cleaned out 7-years and layers of mulch in our garden beds and put down new mulch. It not only looked perfect, they hauled away the old stuff and left the place spotless. I highly recommend any of their mobile services. They also delivered our tree at Christmas, set it up, took it down and recycled it. Fabulous!
Great price on high quality soil ($9 per 1.5 cubic feet today). Was bagged very quickly. Will come back for future soil for our garden!
Great organic gardening shop. I always buy my starter plants and dirt for my garden here. They have a great selection of veggies. Also they have some of the best dirt you can get! Way better than anything you can get at Home Depot or pikes. The owner and his staff are very friendly and courteous. Nice to deal with a fellow small business owner. Thanks!
Bought $200 worth of firewood which pretty much just barely filled my truck and it was all green. Not a single log of wood could be used. Maybe next year I can use it for firewood.
I was expecting a bigger place so I drove past it twice. My grands enjoyed but the 2 yr old wasnt too exciting at first. We picked out a small pumpkin for them to take home and carve...we had fun!
This is my first visit, i will absolutely be back!! I came for an oil change next door and i asked was there a carwash near. They told me here and i came. Awesome job, great service friendly staff and even a pumpkin patch! I WILL DEF BE BACK
Great intown place to get a special and unique pumpkin while social distancing. our kids enjoyed walking around and making their selections this year without driving an hour. will definitely come back!
Great customer service. Will definitely visit again.
Car wash was decent but the store and pumpkin area needs a lot of clean up work done.
I love our weekends that include a stop at Tradition Market! It’s a neighborhood spot with friendly people, interesting items and snacks and you leave with a sparkling, clean car! This is very welcomed in the area - go support this local business!. Good for the whole family.
I went there twice to wash my SUV and definitely won’t go anymore.First time they charged me 50$ for ‘car details’. Everything ok so far. The second time -around a month ago they charged me 90$ for the same thing. They changed the price at the end, when my car was already clean and I had already set the 50$ price. The employee in charge said he apologized for the mistake but refused to keep the price he gave me at first place, so basically he just over charged me 40$ OUT OF NOWHERE.Other employee even had the nerve to ask for a tip after all that happened. Also, they said my car would be ready in 1 hour, I came 1 hour and 20 minutes after and it was not ready.I felt scammed and really had a bad customer service experience. Seems that they don’t care about it, tho.NEVER coming back and I’ll let everyone know how they do business in there. This happened on 07/18/2018 around 3.00 PM
I scored some awesome organic fall season veggies and flower transplants. I did have to drive 2 hours to find an organic nursery, sad, but so worth it! The employees were all very helpful and showed me plants for the correct type of sunlight. UPDATE: My front porch plants lasted all winter long. Great knowledgeable recommendations! I will be back.
Initially intrigued by the eco-carwash (environmentally sound soaps, cleaners, etc!) and have continued to visit for the outstanding service and exceptional customer service. My Honda Civic 2006 has gained years of her life back thanks to Tradition Carwash!
Great selection! The employees were extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!!
I have spent hundreds of dollars at farmer d, On our last visit a month and some change back the woman working in the big room on the left on the building made us feel very unwelcome. Not as much as a hello and she was rude when we asked any questions, must be the owners wife because no one else could get away with this kind of behavior. It she is not the owners wife she should look for another job. If you choose to work with the public you should at least be decent to people that come in to buy the overpriced items that are sold there. Other employees in the past have been very nice and helpful. They sell single corn plants and fail to mention to their customers that you must plant corn at least 4 rows thick for proper pollination, Buyer Beware!
Good customer service and the prices fair
Great prices!! Better people!!! 10/10
Great jobTradition Market and Garden
Organic plants to grow for yourself. Decent prices. Ridiculous location. Has a carwash in the parking lot.
We buy are chicken feed here. Great place.
We hired them to do a landscaping plan for us. They indicated it would take them 1 or 2 weeks to provide us with the plan. However, it took them 8 weeks to finally send us the plan. At least they gave us the plan free of charge.
Helpful, good ideas, beautiful container gardens.
Great organic gardening store
Stanley is the Salt of The Earth. The entire team is stellar
Shame on you
