The Publix market is a very clean store and has most things anyone needs at a grocery store. The store does not seem to have as many isles and products as some stores. But it seems to have what you need. They have a large deli and food prepared you can purchase. They have a decent size bakery. And also a pharmacy with the store. The store is somewhere around 8 check out lines. But they are not always open. The store has many isles and I will share all the pictures of the store. Customer service and a huge produce and meat department. They also have a sushi department as well. Very fresh looking meat as well. The store always seems stocked and friendly.
I never leave bad reviews on places but I suppose there’s a first time for everything. Today was the final straw. I have had 3 bad experiences with ordering subs online from this deli. Every time I’ve ordered online they never had the sub made. And I would always arrive ten min after the posted time of completion. This final time I ordered online, they again did not have the sub made and when they finally got to making it, they made it almost entirely wrong. Wrong bread choice, no mustard, wrong veggies. If you’re gonna get a sub from here, I highly recommend ordering in person and avoiding online orders. Or just go to another Publix location.
Lauren in customer service is a top notch employee. If I could give her 10 stars I would. She is always helpful, cheerful and kind. I appreciate her dedication to customer service and her ability to satisfy a customers needs. Publix, I think you’ve got a rising star on your hands! On another note, her manager, whose name I’ve thankfully forgotten, was rude and could take a page from Lauren’s book in my opinion. Thanks again!
I used to live near this Publix and now I drive out of my way to come here. Staff is ways helpful. They do a great job managing fresh produce. The pharmacy is convenient also. Good prices.
Fine stop. Just needed a few things. Man at the seafood department was very friendly. As was my cashier. Store seemed clean and well organized. Prices reasonable. Not a bad stop!
This is a small store that serves the many apartment complexes in the neighborhood. The produce is freak and well stocked. The staff in the meat department are super friendly and helpful. The selection in the rest of the store is appropriate for the size of the small store. If you need to evaluate 50 varieties/brands of an item, you should go to a bigger store 😊
Skyy the cashier is so sweet. World class customer service
Clean, friendly, everyone is nice and knowledgeable about where their products are. I got my vaccine here and they ask made sure I was good before I left.
Workers are very helpful in finding items...unlike other stores, they seem happy to help and not put out by having to stop what they are doing.
The staff is nice...But theyre produce is not so great, especially for a Publix. Kroger has better produce than this one. Also, the gluten free selections are very slim, if they even exist. Maybe 1 brand of GF pasta, and 1 type of GF frozen pizza. No gluten free breads or any other gluten free alternative items. I only go here because I live in walking distance, otherwise I would never go back for my groceries. And I have to splity trips up so I can get what I really need elsewhere.
Lunchtime in a rush. The deli is the most wonderful thing. It has fruits and vegetables of all kind. All I have to do is reach and grab. No tethering at all, no robots to talk to, and no menu. Just pick and roll to the hoop to score a big win for the home team.
I really didn’t want to leave a review for this location but felt I needed to. I have lived in the south 16 years now and every Publix I’ve been to from Georgia to Alabama to Florida, have at the very least been decent to excellent except this location. The inside has an older worn out look to it which isn’t a huge issue as it appears clean. However in 16 years this is the 1st Publix that has put nearly rotten vegetables on the shelf and runs out of carts even when not crowded. This morning (Monday) was my third attempt at trying to purchase 2 cases of water. Yes there’s plenty of water, but how can I get them along with my groceries to my car? I can see if the store was crowded but I only shop at less busy times because I hate shopping with a large crowd.Next for the umpteenth time a few tomatoes had rotten spots, and the veggie tray had celery and cherry tomatoes that clearly were on their last leg. I have never experienced this until shopping at this location.Clearly this is just a bad management issue. I use to shop in Gwinnett at Publix and in Douglasville when I visit my bf out there and you will never experience not getting a cart and rotten vegetables or an old gloomy appearance at those locations, nor the many other Publix I’ve visited. This location while literally 3 minutes down the street drive is so inconvenient and poor quality, that I’ll literally start driving back to Gwinnett to do my grocery shopping. Gas is cheaper out there anyway. Obviously the owners of Publix have hired unqualified managers. This Publix sucks.
Deli is right there when you walk in...good to get a quick bite to eat...bathroom always stays clean...my go to spot when I am out Ubering
A little disappointed with Publix; been going to this location on Cheshire Bridge for over 6 yrs...I knew everyone and so did they I couldve got a steak on a payment plan. The cashiers are still OK but the Manager or Vice Mgr was rude! I asked her to use a coupon code from my phone, with a bar code and she said they dont take them unless theyre paper coupons...I was OK with that, but as I walked away leaving the store she stood there talking about me to another cashier, making fun and just plainly laughing at me and making faces...she looked up and I heard what she said but didnt even make any effort to apologize or nothing..her expression was more of OK, you heard me so what....I wouldnt be surprised to have this type of treatment at other grocery stores but not Publix; cmon. I shop at Publix not because I have it like that but the Customer Service is key, and I want my kids to eat clean and if/ when Im not satisfied with a purchase ie old fruit I can take it back without anyone giving me an attitude for what I deserve or acting the way this lady did...I dont feel comfortable shopping there anymore Im just one customer but I matter!
Convenient in close proximity to Pancake House, Sushi Restaurant & my children’s dance classes on the weekends
If I could give zero stars I would. Usually Publix has great service but this location is horrible. The cashiers have a horrible attitude and finished being on the phone before doing her actual job. I will never shop here again even though it’s walking distance from me and I only go here for my groceries. They will never get my business again.
They cannot do custom cuts. They can only make 4 pieces of a whole chicken. I guess they should take off the custom cuts off the meat section. And get ready to eat metal pieces from chicken when you ask them to cut chicken in medium size. Because thats what the gentleman in meat section told me when I requested him to cut medium pieces.
Today I stood in line for 15 minutes at their deli department trying to purchase as sub. There was only one employee making subs and 8 people waiting. Two people walked out after calling the manager.Once the manager (Mary) arrived they placed and additional two employees on the line trying to assist the customers. This made me feel much better until I heard Mary tell one employee that customers needs to be more patient. I totally lost respect for her and her management skills.Mary could have simply handled the issue and told her employees if they need help don’t hesitate to ask. Instead she diminished the customers opinion, concerns, and overall satisfaction of the store.Poor management
Excellent neighborhood market. Although smaller than most locations it’s always clean, well stocked and friendly helpful staff. I enjoy shopping at this location
This should be renamed Weekends Publix for the infamous dance bar that was here. After RuPauls Weekends on Peachtree was razed, they reopened as Weekends Warehouse. It was an enormous, packed and favorite gay dance club that precluded The Jungle down the street. Anyone have a better name? And why should Kroger only get pet names? I believe it was a bath house before that, lol.
It was the 1st Publix Ive EVER been to where the Fruit was Terrible. Watermelon was Soggy and none of the fruit was sweet. Tasted like it came from Kroger. Very disappointed
Love this Publix always have everything I need from produce to fresh meats & seafood, and personal items..
Usually have to wait 20-30 mins to finally get service at the sub sandwich station, and after 10 years of loyalty to this location regardless, I suppose I had enough when the incompetent deli manager attempted to force me to put on a mask on to order my food today even after reminding her I’m vaccinated. This all, of course, completely contradictory to our governor’s recent bill eliminating mask mandates across the state. I literally just drove to the Peachtree rd/buckhead location 1.5 miles away and was welcome with open arms and zero complaints or mask mandating… a bit odd, no? I’ll do my best not faulting Publix for the actions of an individual, but I certainly won’t be returning to this location after this. It’s very evident that as a black woman she clearly just blatantly profiled me for being a white man with no mask on and attempted to confront me on a matter that is probably not hers even to make a call on. Humiliating for me as the customer in this situation and an embarrassment to a reputable brand.
I was visiting from Pittsburgh for a week and my MIL called me to see if I could bring some Conecuh home. Shes from Alabama and unfortunately no stores in Pgh sell it.A quick Google search lead me to Publix where the staff was absolutely lovely. Shout out to the beautiful fems in the hot foods and bakery department that helped my best friend and I find lunch and special snacks to bring home.Especially the tall, runway model looking sister in the bakery. She patiently answered all our questions tried to help my best friend find the perfect brownies. At one point a young lady from another department came to her and she embraced her in a slow, rocking hug. I wish I got the bakery ladys name but the love she gives to world is genuine and intentional and it was touching to witness.Oh back to the Conecuh lol. The selection of products is huge and I was kind of overwhelmed so I asked a young man in the fresh meat department if the carried it and he said he believed so. But then an older gentleman stocking the freezer across from the counter was kind enough to interject that he heard us talking about the sausage and he had just put some out. He told us where to find it then later he came to make sure we did and talk to us it.I bought almost all of it🤣🤣🤣 and froze it overnight to put on the plane the next day. My MIL was soooo excited to see what I got her. Publix and their staff at this location totally saved the day.
I think the name of the lady in the bakery who helped me was Mildred. She was really helpful and searched their cake decoration stock for the exact figurines I needed for my own cake. Thank you!
Very small but they had what I needed. Staff was friendly and professional. Ladies at the deli were very nice and helpful.
Clean with helpful staff. Smaller then most publix so dont expect to find everything.
If you ever have an issue at this store, please, DO NOT address it to D.Thorpe. She WILL NOT look into nor follow up with you on it.
What can I say about Publix.. Its the Greatest. My family and friends in Detroit MI telling me they would love to have Publix up there.
Whats a smaller size Publix. Quick Service knowledgeable employee sufficient checked out and no tipping
Small but convenient. They cut up fruit in the store, so its much tastier than Kr****
I love this store everyone there was so polite and helpful.
Limited selection, excellent employees, but in genuine need of a re-model.
Super friendly and helpful staff and very clean store. This is one of the smaller sized stores but they stock the necessities and then some. Can be a bit pricey but all the BOGO sales helps to balance the costs because at Publix they allow you to buy just one for half price with BOGO specials which is TOTALLY AWESOME!!! 😜
Why do you bother offering online ordering for subs? You provide a time for collection when I submit my order.I arrive at that time, and guess what? No sub? Has it been started? Also no. Are staff standing around, with no other customers being served? Yes.Not until I enquire where the sub is does anyone even bother to check if there have been orders submitted. The convenience of being able to pre-order online is great, but step up your in store service. If youre going to offer this service, then at least adequately support it in store. Also, customers beware: we found a piece of plastic in one of our subs.
Im giving it 5 stars because of the exceptional staff. Some may complain that it is a Boutique Publix smaller than what many people may be accustomed to from Publix, so there are some limits placed on the overall selection but they do shoehorn a lot into that store. As I mentioned in the opening the staff is exceptional if you cant find what you are looking for just ask and thats only after from time you walk into the store someone is asking if they can be of assistance in finding whatever it is you might be looking for. One last thing thank you, Publix you never missed a beat throughout COVID although maybe not exactly on a first-name basis with employees its been comforting being treated as if I was family warm smiles friendly hellos shout out to the bakery, produce, and meat department staff who have gone out of their way to be helpful. But so goes the whole store. Its almost like Im on a desert island I have seen no Family and few Friends in over a year now. LOL, I never in my life would have imagined how important a grocery store would-be to a community by becoming a micro-community inside of the larger one surrounding it outside of its confines.Thank you Shelly
Plubix make the best subs on Earth... Here it goes..THE THRASHER 6 SUB, = The best damn sub known to man and passed on from my ancestors before man even knew how to write they could sign with there fingers & dream of what one day how a Grocery Store could out sandwich a sandwich shop like subway or Jersey Mikes, or Jimmy Dean.Top SECRET INGREDIENTS...BREAD OF CHOICEMAYONNAISE AND DONT GO LIGHT ON ITEXTRA PICKLES PLEASE?CHEESE OF CHOICE OR PROVOLONESECRET INGREDIENT ( BOARS HEAD SALSALITO TURKEY THINLY SLICED.)SALT AMD PEPPER AND FINITO!!!
Great place to shop. Always clean and employees are helpful
I placed an order for a cake and cheese and meat tray . The cake stared falling apart in the car . It was difficult to put the cake together for the birthday whish . The tray was flipped at the register and oil from the olives was all over me, the grape, nuts, meat and cheese were covered with oil. Not happy with the service at all .Im really disappointed
Wonderful experience shopping! Employees are extremely attentive & helpful. GREAT!
Great chicken tender and cheesesteak sandwiches
They have noooo carts said people steal them so how can u really shop
Its a very pleasant place to shop quickly and conveniently.
Francesca, is GREAT, the manager on duty at the Customer Service desk, and Semira assisted too. Im trying to find some Amaretto Creamer, I appreciate the ATTENTION to detail and trying to get it for me, Thanks so much😊!
Very clean and very nice people good place
Store with nice and clean the association was nice great experience
Pharmacists and staff are always helpful and go above and beyond for customers/patients. It really is a neighborhood pharmacy. They know me by name and do everything they can to make sure my prescriptions are filled quickly and accurately. Thank you Josh and Stephanie!
Very Clean And Organized.Customer Service Was Awesome 😊
A small Publix, but a nice one.
Clean nice . love this store
Clean place Fresh food Great employees
Always a good experience. In and out
The customer service supervisor with the Afro puff has a VERY UNPLEASANT attitude and should not be in the front of the store providing assistance to customer nor training other employees to provide service same as her. Just disgusting!
Most employees were friendly but this time the lady in deli was grumpy, she gave me the impression that she didnt want to be there
Always clean, fast, and friendly.
Publics was clean and organized wonderful staff. Also the other customers were very respectful and polite great place to shop.
Thank you. I have a great time shopping at this Publix. Theirs always someone around to be of assistance.. I have to admit shopping is a pleasure at Publix
Great customer service. Publix is quality 👌. Excellent product especially Publix brand. Its superior quality.
Nice friendly people
Didnt have any shopping carts today!!!
Hot food and deli staff needs improvement in customer service. There are apparent staff issues with each other which impacts service.
Clean, organize, Associates are very friendly...
Love this store get my flu shot there every year...love the Pharmacist Vernon he always kind and gentle ❤
Great grocery store that has friendly and willing to assist personnel.
Nice store friendly employees and very clean.
Neat and safe clean!
Great neighborhood Publix!
Good small store. All employees and customers were masked. Available carts have been disinfected.
I’m standing in the deli line waiting to order a salad. Why is there two workers but each one is doing a different function. One is taking care of customers and the other is doing phone orders as the line is running up towards the customer service desk. While speaking with the supervisor he stated do to COVID 19 we have to maintain distance between workers and I understand that but also what about the amount of people that is gathering in certain area in the store. I then removed myself from the line and walked out of the store. I will not patronize this store any more. I’m all for safety but it need to be extended towards everyone and not just your workers.
Nice, but the guy in the produce department stocking the shelves needs to pull his mask up.
Clean, well stocked, friendly staff.
They good over here
Always clean, and plenty of registers open so you don’t have to wait in line too long to check out. The deli is awesome.
Whoever stocks the shelves must be messing up the expiration dates. Just because you make the store nice and pretty by zoning and organizing the shelves doesn’t mean the products are good. I’ve been finding alot of expired items in the store and even accidentally purchased afew.Edit: Fresh Produce is always weak and below average. Their grape/berry area is always stuffed really hard so you know they’re mushy from the squishing, plus you always see mold forming in the berry containers. The deli area is not clean/staff doesn’t change gloves consistently, I noticed a lot of cross contamination & flies afew times. I Always find items that are expired or soiled, even accidentally purchased afew. Folks that bag groceries are too rough. Had eggs get cracked, bread smushed, and fruit and vegetables dented and softened. I had asked multiple times if they could gently pack my groceries or to do it myself. Found destroyed bottles of sangria in pack and items Missing that are supposed to be in packs. I’ve been shopping here for a year and I’m overall just tired of this Publix. Shelves are dirty. Not shopping there anymore.
Great Publix, great service at deli counter, great service checking out and was fast! 👍🏻👍🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Customer service is truly unhelpful.
The shopping area was pretty clean and customer service was great as well. Check this place out when yall get a chance especially Publix.
Clean and tidy place... People are friendly and easy going! You can get almost everything you need for your house and yourself. The parking lot is big enough to always find a place for your car. Plus there are a lot of other stores nearby,so you dont have to drive further to complete your shopping journey!!!
Excellent..
Outstanding salads 🥗 👍🏽👌🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Except always running out if bread and nit really pro customer
Bakery Dept..employees hide from you to avoid waiting on customers
A shop that occasionally but Ill find it clean and organize
Awsome service girl in the bakery is 100%
Good little grocery store, not as big as some but has everything you need. No self check out. Parking lot is small.
Great place to shop!
Great service
Nice good place
Clean and great selection
Kind of biased. I was born and raised in Lakeland Florida so I love Publix
Employees are friendly and helpful; just a great atmosphere in general. Oh, and the best subs in town.😃
Not a big supermarket but has most everything I need. Produce can be a little sad.
Is a expensive but where isnt it
Clean and un-Cheshire Bridge-like
Tiny store, limited selection, extremely high prices and employees who barely acknowledge the customers. I went specifically for one item that I know Publix carries that other grocers in the area do not. This store did not have it in stock so it was a wasted trip. Everything in the store is overpriced. The store carries most of the same items as Kroger but prices them at least 25% higher. I have no idea why people shop at Publix given the above and that it is almost impossible to get an employee to acknowledge you beyond the fake smile and required greeting.
Good selections
Publix never disappoints
The people at this Publix are lazy and have bad customer service they close the sub station down early when they clearly have people back there to make them they just don’t want to because they’re lazy still 30 min to closing I wouldn’t expect this from a place like this
Best store any time
Nice people
