Need better phone etiquette. Extremely rude for no reason

GREAT FRESH VEGETABLES AND FRUIT ALL THE TIME AND IS REAL REASONABLE. ALSO HAVE GOOD PRICES ON MEAT AND WATERMELONS. THE ALWAYS HAVE A SALE ON SOMETHING GOOD.

Neighborhood market. Good prices. Make sure you watch while being rung up. Prices can be different than whats on the shelf.

Went there to get some fresh collard greens to cook and freeze for the up coming winter months. They were very fresh . I will return back to buy other foods also...

The store was out of stock on some key items that I was looking to purchase but overall a good choice for shopping.

My first time visiting. It was not what I was expecting. Maybe the other grocery stores have spoiled me. Im just saying though. When the employees prefer to shop at Kroger or publix then that says it all.

Big Bear has a very good customer service initiative and interesting mixture of food products...

Love the prices and unique items, I found my favorite brand of syrup, Blackburn, which I grew up eating in MS..havent seen it in GA until.now. Purple potatoes only $1.09/lb, more than double that at other stores...Also found a jar of Yellow Root tea.... really enjoyed the shopping experience.

Meat had mold, rats and cats running allAround in the back where meat and other produce are at, rats was coming out the cereal boxes, ants everywhere

I have not been to Big Bear in well over a decade and I decided to stop by on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. I bought several packs of pork steaks and wish I had not. The meat was rotten with a greenish color and they are changing the Sell By dates in order to sell the meat and putting a new sticker over the old one with a new Sell By date. Do not buy produce from this store, PLEASE DONT!!!!!

Sold me some bad meat an didnt wanna give my money back. Management was very rude.

This grocery need to close down, How you tell a working college student either you work full time or you find another job in front of customers. Just because you in school trying to better yourself doesnt mean you need to find another job, no one should be look down on because they want more out of life. One day she might have to save your business or else you shall fall close it down stop shopping at that high price rip off store.Praise to the MOST HIGH.

Meat selection was horrible. Everything looked old and had a odor. As I was leaving, saw a customer returning some ribs for the same reason.

Best prices on produce, meats, alcohol, charcoal, and supplies. The lines can get slow when crowed.Dont like being judgemental treatment from some of officers, I do steal!People like that are just telling on themselves. Other than that, good deals and great vibes!

Great price on meat and fresh veggies and fruit but the side item are a little price when on a budget get meats veggies and fruit from there and side from Kroger or Wallie world /walmart

When I walked in one of the elecric wheelchairs were out of order & I asked if there was another one. One of the cashiers went around the store & checked for the other one to see how long it would be in use. She was very sweet & pleasant, she went above & beyond. She asked if I wanted to wait, but I said no because I had someone waiting & I didnt want to hold them up. I used to shop at Big Bear all the time to get my meats & fruits ( great prices 😉) but I moved out of the area, now Im back on this side of town : )

All the old school items you would want at great low prices ... We always go there when we are in the West End.

They’ve renovated the building but their customer service is still lacking. I called to ask if the store had any large bunches of collard greens in stock. I wasn’t sure if the person who answered the phone was understanding me clearly because I asked the question once and he said two or three times “we do, we sell them”. So I said “okay great- I just want to make sure that you have them in stock in the store, right now”. He shouted, “What did I just say??!! We do!” and hung up the phone.

The Bear Market Rules ..... So for some the CSR is not 100% at all times, but we fly to Buckhead and get treated unkind and Never Say a Word.The Big Bear as many call it has FRESH MEATS especially The Steaks, VEGGIES, FRUIT, DRINK ETC. Plus they have been around for ages. This place has a long history. Go Head Big Bear !!

My grandmother and I have been going to this store for years. Its clean, organized and the staff are generally friendly. You can find some of the older southern brands at this store. Because of that I minus a star since it doesnt carry some of the brands I like to buy. But overall, shopping here is a pleasure.

Extremely rude manager! I was shopping in this store when the store manager was yelling at a customer telling them they better have a mask or they wouldn’t be served. I’m going to contact anyone possible because I have this manager on video calling this woman a cracker.

The kid gave my wine to someone else, so when I spoke to manger. The most rude and told me to leave did not get refund.

Of course waiting to get fresh collard greens on the stem in the great southern city of Atlanta, Georgia on Thanksgiving week is a gamble. I can always count on Big Bear to have them. They are fresh, dark green and guaranteed to be a hit. This store has lots of garden fresh veggies along with kinda slow lines and a parking lot you may have to circle a few times.

This is a quaint little country grocery in a big city. They sell the items you arent going to find at the big grocery stores. Like the unpopular cuts of meats and the hard to find products like Lard.

It was not crowded as it normally would be. My mother and I found everything we were searching for.

It was not good a worker there I guess a stock person a lady curse out a customer because he didnt have a mask on and the manager didnt say or do anything. I will not be visiting that store again, customer was looking at her like whats her problem its a way you talk to people

Get there before 7:45 closes at 8pm security wont let you in.

Great meat selections. A bit more pricey than your average grocery store but the store is very clean and stocked so its worth it. Its a small store, perhaps locally owned, and the employees always seem to be in a decent mood. I love shopping where people enjoy their work, the customer service is much better.

Big Bear is a small community store where they actually have real butchers on site cutting the meat and really fresh produce. It reminds me of grocery stores in the 80s, where you might have been taken aback by the fresh smells coming from the back, but you knew all the food was fresh! Local neighborhood commodity! Intown secret!
