I went through top rate diamonds after being thrown around by other jewelers about my rings . I needed them appraised and sized. I’m happy I found them. I worked with Tal. I felt very comfortable and trusted them. He was quickly responsive and very helpful, he was able to get my rings appraised and sized in just two days. My rings look wonderful, he did a great job in answering all of my questions and was professional. They are not outrageously priced, especially for the their qualities . Not being from Atlanta originally, I used google to find several places that had good reviews and began my own vetting process. He was also extremely patient as I continued to learn what I liked and disliked, and narrowed down the diamonds I was looking for. I used Tal based on the recommendation of my father and I could not be any happier with how everything went. Tal provided exceptional individualized service. He was able to customize my engagement ring exactly how I wanted it. I also needed the ring on a particular day and Tal was just coming back from vacation but he was able to meet me at the office after hours to make sure I had the ring in time for my proposal. Tal is great to work with. He responded to my loose diamond request with 12 hours, and soon after I was in his office taking a look in person. I was originally going to buy a diamond on the internet through a wholesale site, but was unwilling to do so without seeing it in person first. Tal gave me the best of both worlds. I purchased a diamond for my fiances engagement ring from Tal. I shopped around quite a bit. Tal was the most honest, straightforward jeweler I met. I didnt feel like I needed to take a shower immediately after leaving (cough D Geller & Son). Afterwards, my fiance found a designer band that she really loved and Tal had one custom made for us for a discounted price and its honestly more beautiful with more detail than the designer one. Couldnt be happier with Top Rate, Id recommend Tal to anyone.

The center diamond broke out of the ring setting (was lost) and the 14k gold band cracked off less than 2 years after the ring was made. This ring was a replacement for the original diamond ring also sold to me by Tal Nudelman of Top Rate Diamonds.The first ring repeatedly lost micropave diamonds from the band, and then the band of the first ring broke in half—similar to the channel pave band of the second ring. I sent photographs of that broken ring to Tal and sought a refund. Tal claimed that a design defect caused the damage and produced a new ring with a different design to replace it.Less 7 days after receiving the second ring, a side diamond fell out of the ring (which was set as channel pave instead of micropave per Tal’s recommendation). I sent photographs of the new issue. In his response, Tal offered a refund of $3,025.00 for the ring (I originally paid him $6,050.00, and he personally appraised the ring to a $10,150 replacement value). I didn’t take the refund.Then, the center diamond broke out of the second ring setting, and the gold band split in two. I had the ring inspected. The porosity in the gold was very high. Again, I sent photographs to Tal. In his response, Tal apologized and stated, “You have raised multiple concerns and based on your disappointing experience I understand your distrust in my products and services,” and he asked me to return the ring to him for his own inspection.My relationship with Tal then ended. He was never rude—I don’t have personal issues with Tal; but I have great distrust in his products and services. That is my experience with Tal Nudelman and Top Rate Diamonds.

I only wish this had higher ratings for the categories than 3s. I was referred to Tal by a close friend who said I would not be disappointed, and I was not. Tal did some amazing things you won’t find at other diamond places – he bent over backwards to get things done for me and the diamond sent to make my proposal exactly when and how I had planned. He was very helpful in the process, and gave advice and guidance every step of the way, and continues to be helpful and courteous even post sale. Never selling, always helping….and finally the ring and the diamond – AMAZING, beautiful, and as my fiancé describes “just perfect”. All of that and a very good price.
