Nice morning stop for coffee and a light breakfast. Coffee, sandwiches and granola bowl were very good. A little limited on pastry selections but the pasties were very fine. Staff was friendly and efficient. Nice outdoor area to enjoy you meal. Lots of multi nation bagged coffee selection. Prices are Atlanta high, but a nice treat.
Beautifully designed interior and perfect atmosphere for work or studying.Things you should know:I. LOCATIONWe utilized street parking and had no problem for a Saturday afternoonII. QUALITYI loved the rich, acidic quality of the coffee beans they use here. Typically, ordering an iced coffee runs the risk of being watered down, but not this one..! Very pleased. The menu, however, is pretty limited.III. SERVICEInformativeIV. CAPACITYFull for a Saturday. We had a difficult time finding seating, but Im happy for the business owner.
They came, they saw, they conquered. This is a staple of the Georgia coffee scene and easily the best coffee spot in the city. Can’t speak for their food but I also think coffee spots don’t need to have food. Great coffee and delicious pastries is all you need and this place delivers to the moon on both of those.
OVERALL- large location. Lots of Indoor and outdoor seating tho they fill up quick. Mostly work vibe inside and work/hangout vibe outside. Trendy hipster vibe. Food and beverage was really yummy. Beverages are unique!COVID/ SEATING- really tall ceilings indoor. When I went Friday at noon, inside was full. Most ppl were not wearing a mask. About 7 outdoor seating areas, small tables. Lots of seating but they fill up quick!VIBE- mostly working environment indoors. Outdoors, some working and some socializing. Very trendy and hipster vibe.VIBE of NEIGHBORHOOD- in that cross section, it is very up and coming and gentrified. Immediately outside this little bubble is not so great.PARKING- lots of free parking in the back. There is also free street parallel parking. The spaces are big for east parallel.FOOD- I got the lox sandwich and it was really good. I do wish they added a teaspoon more or cream cheese.DRINKS- really innovative and unique drinks. I got the shake and the coffee old fashion drink. The shake was smaller than I thought but delicious! The coffee old fashion was really smooth and so pleasant! They add a cherry and orange peel just like they do in the cocktail.BAKED GOODS- didn’t try them but they looked cute and delicious. They were half gone by 3pm.BATHROOM- all gender bathrooms.
Stopped in here one day because I needed a quick breakfast before a meeting. I don’t even like biscuits. This is the first biscuit I’ve liked in my entire life. I had an egg and cheese biscuit and it was delicious. It wasn’t too flaky or too doughy. It was just buttery and a joy to eat. This picture is from the second time I went to Perc just to see if the first time was a fluke. This time the biscuit was a little overdone and crunchy on the top but still pretty good. The biscuit and small hot chocolate cost me almost $11.
This is a great fresh coffee and quick breakfast spot, especially for coffee lovers like myself. My ice coffee gave just the kick I needed. Hubs had the coffee sampler, he enjoyed all the flavors. We shared a fresh pastry, delish! Ive deducted a half star for price, its not astronomically ridiculous, but the one size only (small cup) iced coffee was roughly $4. So, although Google wont let me do a half, my rating is 4.5 👍🏾.Well definitely go again.
The fancy coffee drinks are very original and I enjoyed the one I had a lot! The inside is cozy and had great lighting. We also got a sandwich and lox toast and they were pretty good portions and we very tasty.
PERC coffee is a really nice place. Its nice for go and working. Maybe not for studying or having zoom meetings as the music is a little too loud for that, but definitely nice for working. The food.. the quality is nice. But the amount of food... the size of it.. I had to get another snack somewhere else. Ill leave it at that. But apart from that detail, Ill probably go again!
Visited this upscale, slightly expensive coffee shop for the first time today. Enjoyed the Condor Latte and a cinnamon bun. Might recommend going for half sugar because the full sugar latte was a bit much when paired with a baked item. Would return next time Im in Atlanta. Good place to study/do work at the ample indoor tables and outdoor seating.
First of all, It feels SO good to be able to sit in a coffeeshop again and pretend to work! Lol. That aside, this ones definitely one of the best Ive ever been in! Great coffee/tea and beautiful pastries (and other breakfast and lunch things I havent tried yet) friendly staff, and just a vibe in general. Honestly, starbucks could never. Bring a sweater though if you get cold easily bc its summer in the south and that AC is on polar bear 🐻❄️ (as it should be! But even I was a lil brrr) def will be back!
Love this place. Definitely tied for my top spot for Atlanta coffee. The interior is really well designed and has a good amount of seating, although its been fairly busy when I go.The one thing that brought this down for me a bit is that theres no decaf drip, pour over, or flash ice available. You can get decaf espresso, but thats it. I am crossing my fingers that at least decaf pour over will make it onto the menu
I was super excited to see that a coffee shop came to my neighborhood so I went to check it out. Its a chain from Savannah and this is the first one in Atlanta. Id had the beans before at petit chou, and they were great so I was excited to try out the freestanding shop. I got a wild espresso, and a salmon toast. The espresso was rich and had some cranberry and but nutmeg notes on the nose. The salmon toast had a bunch of greenery that I took off, but it had crunchy red onions, and much more lox than you normally get for $12. Seriously that is always a problem at delis and bagel shops, skimping on salmon and charging out the wazoo for it! Not PERC, it was a substantial amount of fish for a fair price. Will definitely be going back! Theres always a line, so its obviously popular, but they still get you your other quite quick. See you there probably!
Amazing space for coffee and work. The food is good too.
Delicious food and really cute aesthetic. Prices are pretty high for what you get. But the quality is good.
If you want to improve your palate for coffee, this place is amazing because it offers a coffee flight of three different coffees for $6. I am currently drinking coffees from Brazil, Ethiopia and Guatemala, and they all have very different profiles from more traditional to more expressive. They also regularly brew new batch brew every hour or so, and manual brew using a Clever+Gabi, so this is a place that takes its coffee seriously. Its also great that they take the pandemic seriously, with mask wearing and half a dozen outdoor tables with Wi-Fi available. Highly, highly recommended!
I grew up in small town Georgia. And I know a good biscuit. Perc’s the bec is absolutely perfect. It is hands down the best biscuit in Atlanta. I am so thrilled to have this gem in my own neighborhood! And of course the coffee and desserts are also excellent. But the biscuit is the stuff dreams are made of.
Good quality coffee, beautifully poured, with good food. Cute vibe inside.
Amazing new coffee shop and bakery! I visited on a Friday at 11am, and by the time I got there all the pastries were sold out, but the breakfast menu was still somewhat available. I got the salmon tartine as a backup, and it was wonderful! Don’t sleep on that tartine! They have 2 windows now, one for ordering, and the other for pickup. There were a few distanced tables available if you wanted to sit while your order was prepared, but I don’t think they had their restrooms open to the public since the interior was closed off. Loved the walk-up windows though; I hope those stay even once things return to normal! Super friendly staff, amazing food, and the mochas were outstanding too.
Rude, condescending staff. Pop tart was bland and overpriced. Too many coffee places in Atlanta to drop $20 on 2 average lattes and a pastry.
Please consider adding almond milk as an option. Also, lots of flies on the pastries this AM. Told a barista but she was unbothered. Maybe enclose the case or cover food with saran wrap?
Just went here for the first time today. Loved the iced vanilla, lavender latte!
I really like the coffee. Also the breakfast sandwich is awesome. I like it with sausage. If youre extra hungry, go for the breakfast burger. You dont have to add meat to the sandwich but I recommend it. Service is great and the folks working there are super nice. 10/10.
Tasty drip and pretty tasty pastries, too! Came here on recommendation of the folks at Perq coffee bar in sarasota. Great staff, plenty of seating, nice vibe—Will definitely be back on my next swing through ATL.
The bacon egg and cheese biscuit is on point! I am and always have been a biscuit boy... they got good ones, people. Also great coffee selection! Much to my surprise they have house made poplars, yeah its like that.
The vibe is cool, some of the employees are a little snobby, like one made a comment about the way I ordered my coffee and basically tried to say that sounded “gross”. It made me feel kind of weird and honestly not likely to return because of that.
Always on their A game. I’ve been a consistent customer for the past three months and everything I’ve had, both coffee and food, has been delicious and unique. The staff have been very welcoming and accommodating. Nothing but love for PERC!
Not much left to show of this scrumptious coffee cake! It pairs perfectly with the creamy sweetness of the Condor Mocha. The Good Times Latte (vanilla lavender with a hint of spice from habeñero sugar) stands solidly on its own, but a little dunk of Cinnamon Sugar Palmier (devoured before the camera could capture) made for a downright delicious duo. The playful, memphis-esque shapes of the interior design begs for endless selfies, but my appreciation extends to the Perc Team for taking necessary measures of window service, social distance signage and a open, accessible patio to ensure guests and staff safety. Ordering was quick and efficient, with a welcoming and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended and will be returning!
Just discovered this cozy new spot. Loving the atmosphere just not the wait
Great selection paired with amazing delivery!
Who is dialing the espresso? A magician. A sorceress. A college graduate. Milk bones for my dog and very patient cashier, I feel like I am going to pass out when I have to interact with people in public and no one there has laughed at me or called me stupid. Get coffee here
This is literally the best coffee Ive had in my entire life.
Awesome coffee and awesome breakfast sandwiches
Does not make sense as to why vanilla can not be added to specific drinks. I wanted an americano with vanilla and a little bit of cream but were told they just don’t do that. I did not want a latte with a ton of milk. If you already have vanilla syrup to make other specialty drinks why can you not add a pump or two to the standard drinks. Bad business practice IMO and won’t be returning. I have been there before and tried other specialty drinks and they were delicious but the americano is my go to. I’ll be heading down the road to another shop where the customer is valued.
Super friendly staff.Pastries were stale. My girlfriends latte was so bad. Im not sure how to describe the flavor. Salty comes to mind.My chai was not good either.
Wish Id tried this spot sooner! Nice walk-up windows for orders and pick-ups. Heres what I tried:- Cortado: Nicely pulled espresso and even micro-foam (bonus points for pulling that off with oat milk).- Blueberry poptart: Pastry was crisp and evenly baked with good layering, perfect amount of jammy filling, glaze offered restrained sweetness.- Sausage biscuit: Dank biscuit with a crispy buttery exterior worked well with the sausage, but it was the baked apple mostardo that took it to the next level.
Coffee is wonderful. Biscuits are solid
Fantastic coffee shop with great coffee, breakfast, and pastries.
This place has great coffee and bakery treats. Lots of places do one or the other well, but they do both well. The pour over flight is a fun way to try new coffees. Nice staff and friendly crowd. Such a great addition to the neighborhood!!
Great place to have a coffee and work.
This is one of those places where everybody knows your name and in the best way! The service is outstanding and the coffee on point. They have some neat coffee mocktails and specialty drinks. But if youre just looking for a good roast, youll for sure find it here. Havent tried the food yet, but theres a bakery in-house and everyone seems to enjoy the breakfast and lunch items. They have vegan options, too! The outdoor seating is super nice, especially in such a quaint neighborhood and of course during the pandemic (masks required). I cant say enough good things about this place...
I honestly couldnt be happier with this place. The coffee is amazing and the staff is even better. Hanging and chatting with them for a sec every morning is a highlight of my day. I highly recommend this place if you are ever in the area. Order the Perc Mule and tip fat. K. Thanks. Love you all. Bye.
Ok coffee, too expensive for what youre getting.
I walk here so often. I absolutely love their lattes. It’s so nice having a place so close by. Can’t wait until we can sit indoors and enjoy their super cute space.
The place looks new, stylish, and staff are nice. I’m glad to see a new local business running in town. However, I ordered a cappuccino with sugar. My drink came out COLD with extra sugar on it. I was drinking something extremely sweet. I would suggest to spend extra time training the staff..
Espresso has been consistently brewed at the right temp and has not once been burned. Love the atmosphere (outside seating is great) and the staff! They even sampled some of their food - the focaccia and cookie were great. Highly recommend - I come by at least twice a week.
Fabulous drip coffee and the fact that they have two options for their espresso inspires my mouth to salivate. Ill always choose the wild over the mild.I also really like the water pressure in the bathroom.
Really cute place! I was so excited to try this cute new coffee shop in our neighborhood. They food was amazing both times we had tried it, however the inability to allow people to add things to their coffee i.e. syrups and different milks is few frustrating. I know that I might have a basic coffee order but not being able to to offer different kinds of milk and syrup is just not good business. We have tried it twice but not being able to get the coffee I want makes me not want to come back.
My favorite thing about this place is that they offer more than 1 drip coffee option, and each cup is consistently delicious. Incredible scones, fantastic outdoor seating, and friendly staff. Would highly recommend.
Cute, small coffee shop with your basic coffee standards, some different takes, and bakery treats.I LOVE the Good Times Latte (vanilla-lavendar latte, habanero sugar)! Pastries are decent- need to try more.
I hate covid this place is really cool lookimg on the inside. I love small coffee shops. Please support local chaims
So this place is the weirdest coffee shop I’ve been too (and I’ve been to A LOT). They don’t do modifications/substitutions so I asked for a vanilla latte with oat milk and to add extra vanilla, but they won’t do it. Stating that “perc standards” don’t allow for it. He also was very rude/condescending with his response as to why not and how if I wanted “real coffee” I’ll come back. For those reasons alone, forget the coffee, they get a 1 star review.Update: read owners response and would now like to give them 0 stars. If your customer is wanting something made a certain way, as a business, you should be more than willing/able to comply with that customer. I understand the notion of consistency, but if you consistently can make a coffee drink the way your customer would like, that would make them a return customer. Not only would it help you to do so for referral purposes from that customer, but it would also help them by having a go-to coffee shop where they know they can order a drink to THEIR specifications. Consider listening to the customer.
Creative coffee and menu items, whole beans for sale, and delicious pastries.Easy walk-up window, with patio seating available.
Enjoyed the cold old fashioned. Staff was friendly. I would have preferred the cinnamon roll to come frosted. Also, the small amount of frosting provided was just not enough. As Tom Haverford would say “Drizzle it in for me, I’m not your maid!”
The beet sandwich is the best thing I’ve ever eaten in my life.
Yummy! Something for the whole family
Was originally excited to try this place, should have done more research before coming.
Whoa! Super quality drinks with very creative and well thought out specials. Get here and dont pass on the pastries either!
Yummy coffee. Tiny food for the price. Friendly staff.
My lord this place is good, drop the extra cash on a seasonal drink if you’re feeling fancy— you won’t regret it
Awesome pastries, smooth coffee, friendly service, and a lovely porch from which to enjoy it all.Because of COVID there is no indoor seating (as of Nov. 2020), but the inside looks really nice and well done.
Its good, quality product for sure. I agree with other reviewers that a lack of modifications is odd, and with a plethora of coffee shops in this area alone its easy to find those modifications within a mile radius of Perc. I think this place is fine if you want a really nice, plain coffee with very few bells and whistles. I tried a coffee+coca cola concoction and did not like it, and the person with me had another specialty drink (but hey, it was an effort to be a little adventurous!). It looks like theyre striving for that very minimalist, high-end vibe and theyre doing a good job at that.I wouldnt wait until later in the day to visit if youre looking to eat - the first time I visited they were out of most of the pastry options by 8:30am. The second time I wanted a simple bagel and cream cheese, but they dont toast the bagels. Maybe Im just a bagel plebeian, but I was a disappointed in that.Tl;dr its good if you stick to the basicsEdit: Gotta drop down a star here after learning about whats happened between Perc and their former head baker. Try to buy from her directly if you can!
Fresh on the scene but already making their mark. Their lavender habanero latte is my new favorite in town.
Delicious coffee in a lovely spot
Wow. really overrated. $3+ for about 2 ounces of cold cappuccino. And the small rosemary scone; rosemary was so overpowering as to be inedible.
Really great coffee. Love the tomato heirloom sandwich too YUM
Super friendly staff. Tasty pastries and good coffee. Excited to see how it evolves!
Very good mocha
Music fire. Coffee fire. Space fire. Staff fire.Yall are killing it!
Great coffee and pastries - nice addition to the neighborhood.
Perc is fantastic! My wife and I were so excited to get a coffee shop in our own neighborhood and were now even more excited because we think Perc is one of the best coffee shops in town. The food items are delicious and the coffee is sublime. I really like the speciality drinks for an after lunch pick-me-up. The Perc mule is my favorite.
PERC coffee doesnt do single shot drinks for sustainability reasons
Good food, good coffee, nice folks
Baristas were very helpful and friendly. The coffee was delicious.
Get the flight and fill out the card for a unique coffee tasting experience.
Really delicious pastry options!
Great addition to the hood. Excellent coffee, pastries, and sweet peeps.
Favorite coffee shop in atlanta
Great tasting, nutritious salad with beautiful sprouts and avocado.
Excellent Nitro. Dont miss the BLT!
Great customer service and coffee
Good times latte...pure good times.
AH-MAZING. I’m not much of a coffee drinker so asked for a recommendation and it was spot on the best. I had the chocolate latte on ice.
Delicious cappuccino 4oz
Excellent! Perc shake is delicious
Delicious drinks served by friendly employees!
The food and staff are amazing!
This newly opened cafe serves coffee, pastries and light breakfest bites.
