The food was very well balanced. Enjoyed the fact that the menu is seasonal based. The food combinations were paired well as in protein with vegetables. The trout with the cream pecan sauce was very complex and earthy with a hint of sweet from the pecans. The salmon dish had a pickled garnish and it was very light and zesty. The banana bread pudding was phenomenal

I was surprisingly very impressed...service was great and they spaced tables out for social distancing. I was expecting the food to be overly fancy with little taste, but the catfish and grits plate was really delicious! My husband had the porkchop and it was also tasty. They have a nice wine selection and of course the view is nice. The decor inside the restaurant is really nice as well. Reservations seem to go quickly so I’m glad I was able to secure a table and give it a try. I’d definitely return.

Very crowded around 12:30. Asked if we made reservations, which we did not. Hostess was very nice and told us she booked us reservations on her tablet for 1:30pm (unlike the other hostess who was telling people, sorry no reservations, no room). I ordered the chicken salad sandwich, sweet potato fries and unsweetened tea ($15.25 plus $4 tip). The food was okay. I had to ask my server to refill my glass of tea 3 times. She never noticed on her own the my glass needed refilling. Server was friendly so she got a $4 tip.

Long leaf is a not so hidden gem inside the Botanical Garden. We recommend stopping by, even if just to cool down with a tea, charcuterie board, salad and dessert. We suggest this place after the exhibits and before the kids area. It is the perfect cool down and get ready for the next half of the garden place. Make sure you make a reservation for faster seating. Service and food were great. 🐝

Very nice restaurant and sorta fancy for some people. But overall the place is nice and quiet. You can sit inside or outside. The staff are friendly and very courteous. Very well handled. The food is delicious and very well prepared. The grass fed burger is delicious and has a very good taste. It isnt your average burger. The service was not bad. Just took a little to get the food. But no complaints there since they have to make the food.

Stopped in for Sunday Brunch and food was very good. had a party of four adults and two kids so got to try much of the menu and everything was very fresh and quite delicious. The restaurant got pretty busy over the course of our meal and service started to get slower due to that but our waitress was attentive when she stopped by.I enjoyed the Shrimp and Grits and my wife had the burger which was also good. Fries were a hit with the table, especially the kiddos and we tried the root vegetable hash which was very delicious. Kids had blueberry pancakes and grilled cheese, and they devowered both, and we snuck a bite of the pancakes which were very good! Some cons were that it did take quite a while for us to get our food and to also get the check, but overall it was a good brunch.

I had made a reservation in person 3 weeks before I wanted to have dinner with my friends before members night. The young girl took my name and phone number and said she would make the booking. A week before my booking I had repeatedly phoned the restaurant and left manny messages to confirm and no one would return my calls. I finally resorted to emailing botanical multiple times complaining and just wanting confirmation. The night before I finally got an email saying I had no reservation as they was closed for a private event. I was upset because they could of let me know this 3 weeks prior and did not. I emailed again complaining about how bad their customer service was and someone returned a call which I missed but they didn’t have the manners to leave a voicemail all I had was a 2 and a half minute message of background noise of the restaurant. I have eaten here many times but usually just pop in while I visit botanical gardens. 3 times I have actually attempted to make reservations by phone and they never returned my calls. Very very bad customer service

Portion size is very small based upon the price for the entree. I ordered the shrimp tortellini. I’m received 4 small shrimp in my plate. This is the type of restaurant where you leave hungry after spending $30 for an entree. Absolutely ridiculous experience. Food taste was average. The food did come out quickly on Christmas night with limited capacity. Parking to get to this restaurant required that we buy a ticket to the botanical gardens but the restaurant doesn’t not coordinate reservations with the event time so we had to wait an additional hour until our event time came to get in. We had to rebook our reservation for the restaurant.

My wife and I are frequent visitors to the garden and witnessed the entire construction of this venue, but were uninterested in eating there. We eat out frequently, but not at expensive restaurants, preferring places like Homegrown, Heirloom, Ponce, etc. I am reviewing the Grueryere Quiche I ordered, it was astonishing. It was made the classical style, but it was the execution that floored me. The texture, flavor, and crust were what I would imagine a perfect Quiche would be. The portion was small, but appropriate to the richness of the Quiche. It has been about three weeks since we ate there and I have felt guilty for not leaving a review.

Visited this restaurant for the first time two years ago to celebrate my birthday. Then Visited two more times after that. Each time, we had reservations but still had to wait over 30-40 minutes. The manager at the time was Ranea she had honor Our reservation time by serving us herself because they were understaffed. When she had to return to her management responsibilities, unfortunately the servers were not attentive. The next two visits to this restaurant or similar: long wait, on attentive servers, food with Donna good value for what we paid. The last visit in May 2019 we unfortunately got a very rude server. Although the Restaurant was not as crowded as the other times we had visited, I kept trying to assess our server where our feet was. We waited over an hour for our food. The last time I asked our server she said “Ican’t you see ’m busy” and waved her hands up in the air.I had to bring it to the attention of the manager, Dan Whitaker, he apologized and immediately was able to get our food.He Was very apologetic and offered to make up our bad experience by giving us a gift card. Botanical Gardens themselves are great. However, my wife and I went to the server’s station directly at 2pm and requested a table. The hostess said that they were no longer accepting seating for lunch because seating ended at 2pm and they would not be serving again until 4:30pm, so we could go to the cafe in the back and grab something. My wife, who is in a wheelchair and has an auto immune disease (which extremely limits what she can eat), politely asked the woman if there was anyway she could seat us because it was still 2pm and the cafe had nothing she could eat (cookies, brownies and chicken salad sandwiches). The woman pointed out that it was now 2:01pm; my wife then again asked if there was anyway we could have a seat because it was only a minute after 2pm and she gets around a little slower than everyone else. The woman refused again with a, “Yeaahhhh, I’m sorry about that.” Extremely disappointed as there was tons of seating available and we arrived at the hostess station directly AT 2pm. Very snooty vibe here as well, I definitely agree with the other reviews. A gentleman standing by the hostess almost seemed as though he was amused with our attempt to be seated. We would have happily brought our own food to compensate for my wife’s dietary restrictions, but outside food or drinks are not allowed into the gardens.

We went to the botanical gardens on a Wednesday morning. Around lunchtime we decided it might be convenient to just eat at Lintons since we were already there. They told us the wait would be 30 minutes. There were tons of empty tables. They kept telling us people had reservations but most stayed empty for the entire time we waited. We also had our hungry one-year-old with us.Almost 45 minutes later we were finally seated. We had already looked at the menu so knew what we wanted but it still took the waitress a while to come take our order. We waited and waited and finally decided we could not get our food (A salad and a sandwich),eat, and pick up our daughter from school on time. We found the waitress and asked her to just box up the food and we would take it to-go.By the time I finally got to eat my food I discovered that the to-go boxes were terribly thin and flimsy. They did not include any plasticware. The dressing had leaked all over the place. The salad was just OK and was way overdressed. It was also tiny and definitely not worth $20. Overall it was just a terrible experience.

The little one was eating his brother’s fries. Bonita noticed and brought out fries for him. I had dietary issues and she went out of her way to bring food I could eat.
