I had the best experience picking my non-traditional wedding dress here! I found a ceremony AND party dress at a great price. The staff are the sweetest people and the seamstress tailored the dresses to me PERFECTLY. And I appreciated their Covid precautions. Great boutique to support.

This is not a review to speak on customer service. This a review to speak on the dresses they are selling in store are from 2019 and unavailable for purchase but are still in store & allowed to be tried on . I fell in love with two dresses that are no longer being made . I also traveled over an hour & a half to see the store and left with no dress due to false advertising of up to 50% off in store dresses . I would have purchased the sample on the floor that was torn to shreds if they would have offered more than 60$ off . It literally had a gaping hole in the buttock area and still that’s all that could be done . The person working there India I believe was great, not her fault at all .Update : management corrected the issue .. thanks fit for a Queen

First of all when you first walk in you can tell the Workers have attitudes. Second you don’t have a lot of choices too choose from. Third you don’t get any help, the dressing rooms was small. They look down on people. They also lied about rather if you can buy the dress or rent it. The whole shopping experience was very unprofessional.

My sorority had private event at Fit for a Queen for our debutantes. The owner Aisha and her staff give personal touch to all customers. The girls are so helpful and nice, and they are always chiming in on what looks good and what they think will look good on you. The staff there know the store and inventory like the back of their hand and of course have a ton of experience in the biz, whatever you need or like, THEY WILL FIND IT.The dresses are in a variety of price levels so you know you will find something there. Dress selection was awesome. Very large selections of dresses, largest selection of special order dresses that Ive seen so far.This stores aesthetic is so palpable, and so cohesive, its almost a tangible thing. Everything was unique, pretty, feminine and best of all, affordable. Dressing rooms are big and roomy, the debutantes felt like princess in there 😊 They even had snacks for us while we shopped.The store itself is nice, clean, and organized, and it has a great vibe. Its just a fun experience to shop here.

Fit for a Queen is an awesome store! My sister in law needed a reception dress and she was crunched for time (literally needed a dress in like 2 days). The dress she fell in love with didn’t seem to be available in store or at their wear house. It was a weekend and we weren’t sure if it’ll come in on time. Talk about customer service! Ranessa went out of her way to contact the wearhouse owner personally (on his day off) and have the dress custom made and shipped within 48 hours. The dress came in on time and my sister was completely happy! I couldn’t thank Ranessa enough! We’ll definitely be back!

My experience was soooooooooo amazing!!!! Eenyie is the best of all she helped me a lot in choosing the right dress for my special date and was always so kind and sufficient!!!

Workers were stepping on the dresses they were selling, some dresses were ripped, and prices way too high for ripped clothes. The best looking attire in store ranged between $700-$5k. Not worth the time traveled, nor the money one would spend. Came back to Macon and found an AWESOME dress for my daughters Prom!

Not a big store, but a huge collection of at least 500+ dresses that look like they should be on the red carpet. Not your average dresses like most stores. So worth it! Really Fit for a Queen!!!

My daughter and I stopped in, on our way out of Atlanta, heading back to Florida and figured wed take a look at their prom dress selection. Its a hidden gem! Very classy and sophisticated gowns and dresses for every shape, style and size. We googled prom dress shops in the area and this was our 1st and only stop. Staff were extremely personable and patient. My daughter tried on multiple dresses and we didnt feel rushed at all and the two ladies that helped were very accommodating. Definitely a great place to shop for prom!!

Fit for a Queen is a fabulous store, but what really impressed me was Ms Ann, seamstress extraordinaire!!! The alterations Ms Ann suggested, and then altered, absolutely transformed my daughters dress. My daughter could not have been happier!! Ms Ann suggested things that I didnt even think would be possible and delivered. Im sure there is nothing she cant do to alter your gown to perfection.

Very small store. Not much to choose from. Dressing rooms are very small. Not much room for a wheelchair. I would say make an appt and try to be there when no other customers are there.

What you need to know: Not even deserving of one star- the store is too small a venue to sell stock that they advertise online. DO NOT GO HERE FOR BRIDAL APPOINTMENTS.What you may be interested to know: I made a bridal appointment with them several days in advance and was very excited and prepared for my appointment, I know it is currently prom season and they are busy, but that is why I made an appointment. I arrived to the store and could not even get into the door because there was a line of people that were waiting to shop for prom dresses. When I finally got into the building it was not clear who employees were or what the process was to check in; it was a mad house. I went to the front desk and said that I had an appointment, and was looked at as if I was a crazy person, and then they asked me to sign in on one of the tablets that was being passed along the long line that extended past the door of the building.I waited for my turn to get the tablet, but asked several people in line with me about their appointment and quickly learned that none of them had appointments and were just walking in. When I finally was able to sign in I was told to go pick 4-5 dresses that I liked, and then I could wait on a dressing room as they became available. Trying to navigate their cramped store and pull dresses explains why all the samples they have on display are torn to shreds; it is a free-for-all with no guidance or supervision from staff.After 5 minutes of browsing it became clear that they have over extended themselves and are not able to accommodate for a bridal appointment, much less prom season. If they are not going to honor or prioritize appointments made in advance, they do not need to make them. It is disrespectful and will not help them succeed long term; relying on one season a year to allow a frenzy of teenage girls to pull and destroy dresses is not a sustainable business model.

Fit for a Queen is the perfect shop if you are looking for elegance,class, and glamorous all in one! I went in one day before my event, and the young ladies in there had me try on gowns until we found the perfect dress. They have a very broad/versatile selection of gowns to choose from so leaving empty handed will Not be the case. Their prices are very reasonable! This is the absolute best prom and pageant store in all of Atlanta! They have all the latest styles (mermaids, feather bottoms, ball gowns) and even make custom gowns with their in-house designers. On staff stylists are super nice! Nothing else like this in all of Atlanta.

Fit for a Queen is a cute store and would’ve gotten more stars but the one thing that will destroy this company and integrity will be Ranessa. The nerve of her to be the store manager. She has a typical nasty attitude. Hopefully one day the Owners will understand that disgusting attitudes can and will destroy your money coming in.

Last year during prom season I had such a difficult time finding a dress that was flattering on my body type. I found maybe 2 dresses that look nice on me. At Fit for a Queen I found so many dresses that made me look amazing it was a wonderful experience. Wish I had shopped there last year!

This store is a gem in Altanta! The store itself is so cute and inviting and so is the entire staff. The inventory is what sets the store apart from other stores because they carry designers and dresses that I have not seen in Atlanta. I love the dresses, but ranessa caught an attitude and literally stomped her feet at me, while asking questions about payments, its like soon as I mention payment her whole nice demeanor switch from nice to annoyed in seconds, and the crazy part about it, I was the only one in the store, I asked are you irritated with me and Im apologizing that shes irritated, when Im the customer.

This place was not easy to get to at all. There is no rest room so as a bride if I had to go while trying on a dress, I would have to get dress go to a public bathroom and then walk back. I went looking for a prom dress for my daughter. They store has a great selection of dresses and the staff was extremely helpful.

My three adult daughters, our two older grandchildren (ages 8 and 9), and I came to Atlanta to find gowns for my husbands and my 40th wedding anniversary celebration in January 2019. Because thats the ruby anniversary, we needed all the gowns to be in red. We had an appointment but were delayed due to air traffic and descended upon this store nearly at closing time on a rainy Friday night. We were greeted by Ranessa who was the most professional, fun, knowledgeable young woman ever! Our ages are 64, 45, 37 and 30, one of us is expecting (not me) and our body styles are all across the board. Its not an easy task to come up with red dresses for this diverse group, but Ranessa did. She brought out gowns wed never have considered, cajoled us into trying them on, and was dead-on right almost every time. Ranessa is an absolute jewel. This shop is small but lovely, a true boutique, with a wide variety of gowns and accessories. Its located in a charming, trendy location (theres a wine shop two doors down which we also visited), and we were able to park on the street close by. We heartily recommend Fit For A Queen, and especially Ranessa.

I shopped Fit for a Queen for my second look (Reception gown) for my July wedding. The 2 ladies there were pretty helpful and polite during my visits. The gown I found was perfect! However, the 3-star rating comes from my experience with having a custom cape piece made for the gown.This was my first time having anything custom made so I was extremely nervous about paying for something up front, sight unseen...but okay. I expressed my anxiety and asked if I needed to leave the gown for the seamstress but was advised she could work from the pictures. I ordered and paid for the custom piece on 5/31 and was advised that it would take approx 3 weeks and that pics could be sent along the way. After 3 weeks and no pics, I went in store to check on the progress and was told the ETA for completion would be July 3 (my wedding was on the 7th); talk about anxious.It was indeed ready on the 3rd but I received no call, I again took the initiative to stop by to check. Upon arrival, the cape had different gem work than requested. I expressed concerned about it matching the gown (which I had already paid for and picked up) but was assured it would work out. The explanation was that those were the closest the seamstress could get to what I requested (but I was never notified or offered an opportunity for approval). I had a bridal fitting that afternoon and to my dismay, the different stones didnt really go with the gown. But b/c I had already taken my gown out of store and it was 4 days before the event, I was told there was nothing they could do. I get it...strict no refund policy...okay. But my request for follow-up from the owner went unreturned. I had to make the gown and cape work regardless bc my husband had a whole second look as well based off of mine; everything would have been thrown off.Beautiful gowns but very disappointed with the lack of communication and concern from the owner for what couldve potentially ruined my special day had I let it. I respect your policy and the work put into customization but at the end of the day the customer service piece could use improvement.Edited 8/9/18: In response to the owner, Im not sure where the confusion is but to clarify, I DID address my concerns to the associate manager on duty when I picked up the cape on the 3rd about the stones not matching...before I carried it out. Her response was Im sure itll be fine. I really had no choice b/c I had to have the gown altered so there was no other way for me to try the pieces on together unless I took the cape out also as the gown was at the alterations shop. I did go back to express additional concerns as soon as I could and thats when I was told I had already taken the cape out of store. In the beginning I made it clear that this was my first time customizing anything so I did not know the process. I would have never taken the dress or cape out of the store had I known this would be the issue and I did ASK before I picked [the dress] up as my original post indicated. But I also wouldnt have been able to get the needed alterations so I was between a rock and a hard place. Perhaps if the cape had been ready when initially promised there wouldve been more time to make any adjustments. Lesson learned.I understand the owner not being available on the holiday but after addressing with management and there was nothing they could do, I was advised I could try speaking with the owner which is why I requested the follow-up. Yet, I heard nothing until a month later in response to this post. Nevertheless, I appreciate the response and well wishes.
