We had to change our wedding venue 2 weeks before our date due to Covid precautions and we truly could not have pulled it off without Britt. He was available at all hours of the day to meet with us and talk through new plans and his positive attitude is truly contagious. My daughter was married this past weekend at Chastain Horse Park. When we were looking for someone to capture our vision for the event, we were recommended, Britt Wood. By far, it was the best decision we made to set the tone and make the evening as magical as we had hoped. Fun fact: Britt uses lovely smelling herbs on many of his pieces for texture and fragrance. GENIUS! We walked into the venue and BOOOOMMMMM - unbelievable. I wish I had our professional photos to truly show his talent. Every single guest at the wedding commented on the beauty and unique vision of the evening. My phone is still ringing off the hook with people buzzing about how breathtaking everything was. We knew Britt would do amazing work because he also did our rehearsal dinner and bridesmaid luncheon so we got a small sneak peek - but we had NO idea how pleased we would be. I RECOMMEND Britt highly and if I could give 100+ star rating I would. Britt - we are forever grateful for so much magic in one room - THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts.

There arent enough accolades to give Britt. Hes so much more than a florist, hes a true artist. I knew the first time I saw his work that I wanted him to do my sons rehearsal dinner, and he went so far above and beyond my expectations! It was absolutely magical. He really took the time to listen to me about the look and feel that I wanted for the evening, and then I just asked him to do his thing and surprise me! Cancel all other wedding dress appointments and start with Britt Wood!!! He is the most wonderful, the easiest, and the absolute best part of wedding planning.From the moment we walked in, Britt made me so comfortable and celebrated. He locked the door, poured the champagne, and immediately began asking what I was looking for in a wedding dress. We tried on dress after dress - the most beautiful, unique, but timeless dresses in town. He added the right veil and pinned each and every one to give us the full affect. He fluffed trains and spun me around, pointing out what looked best on each dress. Britt listened to what I *thought* I wanted and then found options a million times better.Once we found the perfect cut, I was a little hesitant about minor details of the gown. Britt didn’t say pressure me into getting the dress anyways. Instead, he pulled fabrics from another dress, accessories from a completely different bridal gown, and pinned parts of the dress to show me the neckline I wanted. Britt created the dress of my dreams from the ground up, just after two hours of working with us.While I know you can find pretty dresses at lots of stores in Atlanta, you will never get the bridal experience Britt provided us. We worked together. We had a blast! We celebrated. We canceled our other appointments. I even asked my bridesmaids to be part of the big day. Britt never once made us feel rushed or pressured. He genuinely wanted me to find the dress of my dreams. It is bright and airy and well appointed.Service: I was nervous about the process of getting ratchet strapped into a gown that is 25 sizes too small but he pulled gowns that PERFECTLY fit my frame, focusing our energy on finding the perfect silhouette, fabrics, and details. Britt is very charming, sincere, and exudes southern hospitality. He made our appointment fun and instantly put me at ease as we walked through the door.Gowns: They were all stunning, designer, and elegant and impressively within my budget. Britt and I worked on a custom design from his line that will be delivered in very short order. (unheard of in this industry.) No sub-par gowns or accessories in sight.Quality: I brought 3 friends with me, 2 of which are buyers in ladies fashion and they were VERY impressed with the construction, fabric, hand detail and finish of his gowns down to the underskirts and foundation. Silk for days ladies!!To summarize, Britt not only made me feel at ease, but he made me feel beautiful and the process fun! I made an appointment via email a week before and got confirmation. My fiancé and I woke up early on Sunday to go to Britt Wood salon. When we arrived the places was CLOSED, nobody picked up the phone (I called 4 times) and nobody replied to my email even in the following days. Britt has done the flowers both for my daughters New Years Eve wedding and for my mothers 90th birthday dinner. I think the hallmark of Britts work is the wow factor. To enter a venue that he has transformed with his florals is literally breathtaking. From the florals, to the table cloths to the 500 helium balloons in the ceiling, my daughters New Years Eve wedding was festive and spectacular. He is incredibly responsive and his follow through is impeccable. When a venue hears that he is the one doing the florals, they are thrilled because they all love working with him.The details he includes are amazing. For example, he put a special rhinestone New Years Eve tiara at my daughters place at the dinner table. He really serves as a party planner as he outlines his ideas and envisions the event. He recommended getting special ties for the servers and detailed the top hats and tiaras to ring in the new year. He absolutely loves what he does and it shows through his energy and his creativity.Although on a much smaller scale, the florals for my mothers birthday celebration were gorgeous and feminine.
