Worst service ever. Asked waiter for check 3 times. Completely ignored us. Started to actually leave when server gave us attitude, moving his head back and forth. I had to ask for my side dish 5 times, supposedly kept forgetting. Worst experience ever, please avoid! Beer aint that great either.

It is the absolute best place ever!! I go every Friday with my friends to bye candy. Theres also a deli in the back that has awesome food. The staff is super nice. The market even has homemade doggie treats!!! I definitely recommend!

Was staying in an Airbnb right around the corner from this market and looking for some tea to help with my allergies. The store had quite a selection of wonderful products. The tea however that I needed was loose leaf and I did not have a strainer nor did they sell tea strainers. The store clerk that helped me was so wonderful and we both thought of creative ideas of how I could create my own and we finally figured out two paper cups and a fork would do the job. He also gave me some great advice on the best honey to get and was just a really great experience in this store. The woman behind the register was also quite nice and helpful. Next time Im in canby Park I will definitely hes stopping by here. The prices are a bit higher than regular markets but its worth the people and the local vibe

They respectable and diligently ensure everyone is wearing a walk and they sanitize when they come in. 5 stars for caring.***Great stock of wine and beer. Local select fruit and veggie. It’ll get you through till you go to a larger grocery store. They are very friendly but I wish they changed up the selection of prepackaged foods.

Was totally fine the first few times I went. But, this last time, an employee rudely shooed us away from the sodas just so he could put 2 back. I dont know why he couldnt have asked politely or just waited for us to make a selection and leave? There was also a sign on the ice cream door that only said jenis 3.09. Of course, once at check out, the pints were not 3.09, because jenis is expensive. I asked for clarification since the signage posted was, imo, misleading, and i got a patronizing oh honey jenis isnt cheap!

For the history of it it used to be called Michaels supermarket but it was sold and its nothing like it was before its a neighborhood store or great selection of wine that seems to be the main point of the store. The employees are semi nice and a few more are very nice so you hit and miss sometimes well

Skip the dairy, you can find cheaper dairy options at Dekalb.

There was a lady who wore glasses and blonde hair and heavy set, who were so rude to an elderly couple because they didnt know then protocol about the ice. She yelled at them and was truly rude. Then, she tried to be rude to me because I parked my car there for a minute to pick up an order and then come back to the store and she proceeded to try to yell and berate me. Also, she threaten to have my car towed. Customers shouldnt be treated that way in any manner at all.

I love Candler Park Market. Its so nice to have a combination small grocery story/sandwich shop the neighborhood. For being a small grocery store, they are amazingly well stocked and in a lot of the same kinds of healthy products you find at Whole Foods Market. They also carry great local products in dairy, produce and ice cream/popsicles.In the deli section, their sandwiches and burgers are excellent. If you like garlic fries, definitely check theirs out! Also, although Im not a wine person, they have quite a selection of wine as well.I have always found the staff to be friendly. This is a gem of a neighborhood business.

We have always loved Candler Park Market. Its one of the establishments that makes Candler Park/Lake Claire so desirable. Loads of character, nice staff, great sandwiches with grill in back, large selection of beer and wine. They also now have a small selection of meats and produce. This place keeps getting better. I come in every two weeks to buy two loaves of sourdough bread! Wonderful market!

Best place in the area by far! Great selection for both adults and kids and offers many varieties if wine and beer. The Diner in the back has great burgers and sandwiches! Very friendly staff and helpful! I would recommend this place for anything.

This place is great. What stared out as a kinda crappy bodega, has turned into a really great neighborhood hub. Im there twice a week for extras we forgot at the grocery store, to their selection of great craft beers, or for the go to sandwiches in the back.

The Deli used to be my very favorite spot for a burger and fries, but today it looks like some things are different. The fries have changed and aren’t as good; there’s a new bun that’s twice as big as the meat!; and the grill cooks always overcook the burgers until they’re well-done and chewy. I know this seems nit picky but I’ve been eating here for so many years and I’ll be sad to have to find a new favorite burger place. I’m disappointed because it’s an expensive treat that I look forward to.

Love the local meats, incredible selections of beer and wine (one of the best in Atlanta, period), and the deli is always making something new and delicious. I go about 3 times a week to just grab a lemon or bag of coffee or whatever I forgot to get from Kroger. I once needed capers for chicken piccata and was shocked that they had them! Moral of the story is to always check the Candler Park Market first!

Ive used Candler Park Market for years and remember it when it was Mr Lees Convince Store. If you ever came when it was still Mr Lees then you remember the dirty floors and amazing wine selection! Since the market has changed hands it has expanded its offerings and I think has made itself into a really great little local grocer and sandwich shop. Their produce selection is excellent and usually locally sourced. And their pre-prepared food is excellent. Some things are a little pricey but for convince, not outrageous. The little deli shop in the back is excellent, I havent had everything on the menu but from what I have had, I havent been disappointed yet! If youre living in the area I highly recommend this little shop and if youre passing through its worth a visit if you need to grab something.

The veggie burger was okay, but Id never order it again, Id really like to talk more about the Mean Green.I had the mean green on sourdough bread, which was cold and came with no dressing, it was completely dry. The bread was a joke, not a toast or a hint of flavor in sight.I totally understand if I was building my own sandwich and I did not ask for mayo or mustard or something then Id be left with a dry sandwich. However, this is a menu item, it feels like an incomplete thought of a menu item.With about 4 other places to eat on this same corner Id be hard pressed to order food from here again.
