My visit and purchase at the outlet was smooth and friendly but my experience post-sale is not how one would expect to retain customers. I still have questions about my order and was told financing facts that were not true. Buyer beware!

Be VERY weary of purchases and return policies no matter what they tell you. Some things have a three day return window others you have to keep for 30 days in order to return them. Id advise to do your furniture and appliance shopping anywhere else other than Big Sandy.

We went to the one in Ashland, KY today looking to get a cheap washer. After walking in, we browsed around a few seconds and Dave came over to check in with us. As we told him what we were looking to see if we qualified for, he showed us all the washers and told us every detail. Finally helping us decide what would be best for our needs. We left with a brand new set for a little more than what a washer was going for! Super huge deal!! Dave was absolutely fantastic, never pushy, and always there for every question and hypothetical we threw at him. We went with the 90 days same as cash program called Acceptance Now where it does a soft inquiry for your credit and allows you to build your credit with good payments! Couldnt be happier with what we ended up buying and coming home with!! We will definitely be going back to him for sure! Ken was absolutely amazing as well with helping us through the Acceptance Now program!

My mother and I had the best experience with Mark. He showed us different dishwashers and refrigerators and then gave me different options when it came to financing. There was no hurry and buy and no “sales pitch” from him either. He was very personal with us as well. That’s a plus with my mother. Literally called this place and found exactly what we needed. Told them we was on our way and was racing to get there. The lady was nice and said they would get it together and was expecting us. We got there 4 mins after their closing time and the man at the door seriously said well, we was getting it together but we stopped because it was almost 5 so you will have to come back tomorrow.

The young lady that helped me was so kind and understanding . I think her name is Sydney Frazier. She didnt rush me nor push things on me. I liked that. I could have gotten a range Cheaper and with Free delivery but I chose to buy there because of her kindness.

I was not happy that I inquired other products such as a mattress and refrigerator and the salesman acted as if he didn’t want the sale. So I granted his wish, only paying cash for washer and dryer. So needless to say work on your customer service skills. I would’ve made 2 more purchases.

Very unhappy. The shopping experience and staff was great. During the pick up experience, at the back door, the employee COMPLETELY ruined my couch! The employee scratched, ripped and tore the leather couch, bent the legs and bent the arm of the sofa, scratched up the mechanism and electrical buttons. I cant believe he thought pushing a LEATHER couch across concrete (leather side down) was a good idea! Im still just in shock! I screamed and said STOP! His response was thats just how they do it!! After coming inside to immediately complain, the really sweet person working inside explained he was working alone and it was his first day alone in the back and apologized for him. I totally understand being understaffed, I totally understand being new, but common sense says not to put a heavy couch on its electric mechanism and not to slide it on the leather across concrete. I only hope this can be repaired. Horrible experience. Just awful.

Mark made sure we got everything we wanted and needed for the washer and dryer we bought. He also went above and beyond for us when we got out furniture. I highly recommend Mark when you go to Big Sandys. A very nice kind guy. Once again thank you Mark.

Stephanie was great. Great prices. Two days after putting down a 35 percent deposit calling me telling me they need a payment. When I told them it would be paid in full in 7 days. Not happy. Considering canceling the order.

Stephanie was great. Had waiting 6 months for the other guys to deliver a couch. Got my money back and came here, got something better and took it home that day!

Well I got a purple ned in a bag mattress and what I was told was a 82 inch smart tv the problem was the tv was not a smart tv and they did exchange the tv for a name brand tv but was a 75 inch smart tv I was satisfied with the exchange overall they came to switch out the tv and basically gave me the tv in a box and said they dont put them together just deliver them so unhappy about that all in all not worst experience but not best I’m sure this don’t happen a lot

The staff was extremely helpful, although the manager was a bit abrupt when she spoke to people. Overall our experience was good however we had a 7pm.pick up time and they didnt bring our purchase out until 750. However, I was extremely pleased with the products we bought and will shop there again.

Stephanie Hicks assisted us, we went in because we had went everywhere else and had no luck with furniture being in as soon as a week or less, it was months out. We explained we sold our furniture because we bought from somewhere else and the delivery was extended so we were without furniture and she did her very best to get us a living room suit she sat with us and searched the website for hours until she found something we liked and we would get within our time frame and we are getting most of our living room suit this week! She’s super awesome and goes way out of her way to help her customer. I definitely recommend her when shopping for any appliances, furniture, or even a bedroom suit she’s truly a huge help. The whole staff was outstanding my fiancé and I were treated so well by everyone! Love this store!!

The staff here are very attentive and work well with the customers which I appreciate. I just believe that the prices are quite high? However you dont have to wait for your purchase to arrive you can take it home on the spot. Im a person that willing to wait if I can get a better price or deal.

They have several different ways to finance furniture and the sales woman walked us through the process. It was relatively fast to get approved. The people were really nice and friendly, not pushy at all. We are just waiting for our bed to get delivered tomorrow.

My experience on Friday October 2nd, 2020 deserves less than 1 star. Furniture was marked incorrectly on tag which I understand,but I was pretty much called a liar by the salesperson (shawnta gullet)when I told her I had looked at the items marked as a set the week before. Previous purchases here have been seamless. I was treated poorly enough to consider never going back.

They have a pretty cool no credit check system in place. You need 3 references only. Their recent BOGO on the recliners is great.

We bought a freezer and a mattress and got wonderful service. 5 stars!!!

This place has horrible customer service, we have been trying for nearly 2 months to get a working refrigerator from this place. They are more than happy to take your money, charge delivery fees, and then they charge a fee to p ick up their defective merchandise. We lost several hundred dollars worth of food and were forced to try to keep necessities cool by using a cooler and purchasing ice on a daily basis. After 2 service calls and ordering parts still no working fridge. They finally brought a replacement and to no avail, it did not work either. So we finally decided to order one from another place and they had to order the one we wanted, but they brought us one to borrow til ours comes in and can be delivered...... Now Big Sandy, thats customer service. If they tell you anything either record it or get ir in writing, because they have a hard time telling the truth. We will never go to Big Sandy again for anything.

Big Sandy having fantastic sales, picked up a double reclining sofa needed 2, salesman went out of his way to find one more in the back. My grandson was very Happy,,,now he is part of the big sandy family along with my daughter and I. Ashland outlet Thanks.

The sale was easy, the price fantastic, and the delivery was a breeze! The delivery guys were super fast and polite. They went out of their way to make sure the rain didnt track in anything on my floor. Great job!

The worst customer service I have ever experienced! Bought a sectional received half of it because the other half came in broken. Waited over 6 weeks. All they offered was a $50 in store gift card ha what a joke! Im know we are in the middle of a pandemic but come on!

GM Jason Tackett was incredible. No hassle or leg pulling from anyone in this store either when it comes to wanting a piece of furniture. I’m a 4th year college student, young, so I’m kind of used to being taken advantage of in situation like mechanics, salesmen and etc. but Big Sandy Outlet doesn’t pressure anyone to buy anything and no constant nagging. WHICH IS HOW IT SHOULD BE!! As well, Jason with no hassle helped me place and order for furniture with no problem, and when I went to pick it up the pieces hadn’t made it to the store but was still in the warehouse. Instead of telling me to come back he called the warehouse to tell them I’d come to pick it up I would Just be past their closing time and he pulled the strings to let me pick up my pieces on time. I’ve never seen such good customer service from a furniture store before, all of them are awesome. And that says a lot because I went To 9 stores before this one!

Our refrigerator suddenly stopped working. We walked in there 20 minutes before closing. They were so kind and helpful and about 45 minutes later we left with one. They could have easily said come back tomorrow we’re closing. Thanks for such awesome service!!!
