This store always has what I need and the staff to help me find it. They have every kind of valve, nut, bolt you could ever need. Yesterday they found the right plumbing connector I needed and today they scanned an old piece of wood to perfectly match my exterior paint. The staff is always knowledgeable and courteous. I highly recommend this store.

Consistently the most friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff youll ever find at Fosters Ace Hardware in Arlington. A clean and well organized store where the staff work together. A rarity anymore, which is why I LOVE THIS STORE!I am repairing some damage that occurred when water seeped into my subfloor due to rotting wood under my front door. I searched online for how-to and products to repair it and found PC Petrifier. Everybody had it, but not in stock - except for Fosters. I ran over and got some. Thanks to Fosters carrying almost everything you could need I did not have to wait for it to be shipped.Maybe a bit off topic, but I included pics of my project. Thanks Fosters!

Ive been doing business at this location for over 25 years. The employees have always been the best to help. My son and I went this afternoon for things to do a job. BIG SIGN OUTSIDE front door. MASK REQUIRED TO ENTER STORE NO EXCEPTIONS. The first employee to greet us was not wearing his mask. We questioned this and he ignored us. When we were paying out we ask to see store manager he informed us that he was the manager. He informed us and several others that the employees didnt have to wear mask. Like I said Ive been shopping there for a long while and have referred several people who didnt know about the store. But Ill not go back anymore nor will anyone I know. All the employees were wearing mask except the one who said he was the manager.Goodbye Ace

Super helpful staff, always! They have a great assortment of fasteners for all my diy projects and a little bit of everything for home repair. So much better than going to a big box store even of the prices are a little bit more. The service and convenience are well worth it.

Nice little local hardware store. Great customer service. The star today was Brittany. She greeted me upon arrival. She was able to size the bolt I needed by sight. She made recommendations and suggestions that improved my project.

I have been going to Fosters for decades. Not sure but would guess more than 40 years. I like to do my own home repairs and have done many of them with parts from Fosters. Great store with a wide variety of items and very friendly knowledgeable staff.

Ace Hardware is famous for its wide variety of odd items. Items like nuts, bolts, screws, adapters, etc. Home Depot and Lowes are near to my home. Naturally, I began my search at those two stores. But I didn’t get any help because there weren’t enough employees. The stores were large. It would take time to hunt for odd items on my own.Then I drove to Ace. There was plenty of help. Their employees were young, friendly, energetic and helped one another. My shopping took only a few minutes. I found everything I needed for my project. Mission accomplished! I find it uplifting to see young people being productive.

Foster’s has the best customer service in town!! Steve went above and beyond to help me find all the materials I needed to install a sign on our back patio!! He even thought of additional material I needed to avoid water damage!! THANKS, Steve!!

Great place, very helpful staff, definitely my favorite neighborhood hardware store.

I went to home Depot and waited for about a half hour before somebody could help me find stuff. Even more frustrating they didnt have what I needed. Much quicker at fosters. They actually had what I needed for the most part. Ended up with the wrong parts at home Depot and had to buy them in bulk. Got the right stuff at Foster so it ended up costing less.

Great little store to get what you need without having to deal with all the crazy traffic to get to Home Depot or Lowes.

Always get what Im looking for. Today I needed 1 Bonnet Nut for my tub.The one I removed was damaged, I couldnt screw it back so Ace Hardware to the rescue, not too far from my house. I had gone to Home Depot for the repair kit for a Delta faucets.Great service!!!

Home Depot and Amazon couldnt beat or match prices on some of the basics like outdoor garbage cans or even plumbing repair tools like pvc pipe cutters or sharkbite adapters. If you have an ACE Hardware store near you check their prices and availability before relying on the big box stores to save the day.

Staff are helpful. Its a little more expensive but staff expertise is worth it.

Very helpful, very friendly staff. Please be aware that they do still require all customers to wear masks. I heard a gentleman give the cashiers a really hard time about that today, but they stated that its just a company policy.

Local hardware store that still delivers great customer service. If you only need a couple fasteners, screws, nails, etc. and not a box of 500 of the item, this is the place to go.

Mask brownshirt at check out counter would not take any customers ready to pay for goods until they put on a mask. So we & other willing to pay customers left. We won’t forget this!

Ace only reads parts of the mandate that they want to read. They don’t allow people that have disabilities to enter their store if you can’t wear a mask. I was told by a manager that I should just stay home. I don’t stay home because I am not afraid of a virus that is less likely to catch than the flu. The employee that got my order didn’t even check to see if the washer fit on the bolts that I asked for. I had to go back and exchange the parts. I had to wait for a manager to come to the front. Which the one that showed up was rude.

This store is not ADA compliant to service members with PTSD about not wearing a mask. They will absolutely refuse to do business with someone without a mask. As others said before, the curbside option is not available even though this listing and the store says it will. Refusing a reasonable service to people like this is also against ADA compliance. A lawsuit is in order.

Usually have everything we need for quick jobs around the house. Sales staff is almost always friendly and can answer questions on stock over the phone if you have an odd need.

I would give a 5 star but i was in there for 20 minutes and ive never been so annoyed. Can i help u find anything? is everything alright? finding everything ok? Over and over and over. Like there has never been someone capable of navigating the store or capable of locating the paint section without thier hand being held. I was bombarded from the time i walked in to the time i walked out with the over anxious, obviously bored and over staffed isle walking ace employees to the point i couldnt wait to get out.

The employees are friendlier and helpful.To be honest the Ace on Park Row is still tons better! I would rather go farther for the better selection and many other perks!

Trying to get an ignition cylinder housing post bolt for my dodge ram 1500. No one could figure out what dodge did or the previous owner did to make the contraption that I brought up to them today.

I spent over $800 in cash at a ace 2 hrs away, i had a emergency mind you i live near this ace on little rd i needed to return $73 of items i didnt need. With receipt in hand owner refused to give me a refund. Purchased items 2 days before, said it was at her discretion. I Will never shop at ace again never do business with small franchises, its not worth the hassle and YES i will be boycotting with a sign on my car about this store. And yes went 5 miles away to an ace manager Robert had no problem with a refund Robert was awesome yea....Robert

Everytime I go here (which is often), the people are friendly and quick to offer help if they need it. The employees know where everything is, and if they dont know about a particular product then they find someone who does. This is, hands down, my favorite hardware store.

Stopped here today for a few things I left very happy. As a business owner I appreciate good customer service! I was approached by 2 different staff that made my visit very fast and easy! This place is very well staffed and very organized. To the owner, you have very on the ball employees on the floor helping customers.If Im ever in the area and need anything I will definitely stop here again.

When needed, there’s often someone there with some knowledge that I may not have about my project, and I have been an avid do-it-yourselfer since the early ‘90s. They know their store, they’re close to home, and they’re locally owned. I always head here first before the big box.

A neighborhood gem with people ready and willing to help you locate what you need, answer questions about products with knowledgeable responses, and even offer ideas on how to tackle projects when necessary. These well stocked stores arent Lowes or Home Depot, THANK GOODNESS, but they are a great asset to our neighborhoods and we need to patronize them whenever possible!

I drove 20 minutes to pickup an order based on curbside pickup, when I arrived they refused to bring our. I called a manager who did not care that I could not enter the store because of the covid crisis, she did not care. She said her website did not offer curbside pickup, but I placed the order on the ACE website that does. She still did not care. Note that here on Yelp curbside pickup is offered. Do not do business with!

Got confused on opening time on Ace Website vs Foster Ace Website then Foster posts and paid the price!!!! A large OPEN sign at all times with a small sign below again very confusing!!!! I admittedly make a sharp comment to Cheryl Foster ( store co-owner ) so in front of the store in front of a half a dozen customers she yells Go somewhere else and dont come back............very unprofessional conduct for anyone much less a retail business owner........I immediately apologized for my comment got nothing in return..........

Went in with a few Craftsman screwdrivers for warranty replacement. They refused to replace two of them because one didn’t have a model number on it and they did t have an identical model of the other. They refused to replace with a very similar in size screwdriver. Took them to Sears and they too didn’t have exact models but offered like model replacements with no questions or fuss. In and out quick. Won’t be giving this Ace location any further business.

Well i worked for almost a year and the experience was great made life long connections with multiple people, learned all sorts of things from my co workers. The one thing people should understand about fosters ace hardware is youre gonna be helped by either someone whose 15 or 60 but either way you will get one you need even if it takes LITERALLY everyone in the store to do it. Also Brittney is the best manager Ive ever worked for.

Has to be the best place to get hard to hardware. Recently filled up my cars supercharger intercooler with coolant and the bolt to close the charging port sheered off. Walked in, went to the nut and bolt aisle. Worker in that aisle took one look at the broken nut and knew right away what I needed. Workers are very knowledgeable and will get you what you need in no time.

Hours of operation are listed wrong. Drove 20 minutes through traffic to find a locked door.
