I called on Monday to see if I needed an appointment to do a trade-in on my watch for a newer one. I said that I wanted to come on Thursday. The very nice man I spoke with asked what time & I said between 10:30 & 11:30 a.m. He said that was the best time to come & I didnt need an appointment. I went today (Thursday) and arrived about 11:15. I was told that I should have made an appointment & the best they could do was schedule one at 12:15. I couldnt wait that long so I left. Whoever told me I didnt need an appointment was completely wrong!

This store was fully operational with an appointment only. I was buying an Apple Watch for a Graduation Gift in May. I bought the watch and bought myself a brand new iPhone 12 Pro Max (went back to upgrade to Max). Very knowledgeable sales people can’t remember their names but I’m very happy and my Grandson is too. Plus I purchased AppleCare with my purchases.

Very helpful, and friendly staff. I had an appointment, and the help was on time, and I didnt have to wonder around, and wait for an employee to finish with another customer, and serve me. I went to this location to get an old school iPod touch fixed, and while they couldnt fix it today, they gave me advice, and help to address the problem. I would recommend this Apple location.

GO TO ANY OTHER APPLE STORE!!!! SERIOUSLYYou’re greeted and then sent towards an associate who can “help you”, and each time I visit the store, the associates have no manners, heavily sarcastic and condescending if a purchase isn’t guaranteed as if it hurts the commission they don’t make...I wanted to purchase a new MacBook and was told to buy it online, at home or go to the next Apple store. Its also weird on how some of the staff is illiterate on the new products and features.Management needs to actually train staff on products and customer service, instead of making sure shifts are covered or to make sure no one is stealing products.Ridiculous!!

Worst customer service! I went in to fix my AirPod a few weeks ago,one of the agent said they have to order the parts and asked me come back next week. He also helped me make the appointment, but he told me the part is not ready yet when I got there the next week. And asked me to come back again! It has been a few weeks, I haven’t hear back from them yet. No update, no nothing, I just spoke with one of their agent, the agent told me no record was found…..Omg… I guess I just have to stop by in person once again and speak their manager then.

I had a very bad experience at the Clarendon store today. Brandi and another manager were very rude and unprofessional to me this morning when I asked them to help me with an issue that one of their employees caused. I really wish I could give a rating of -10 to this incompetent team.If you want to get an Apple product, you should go to the Tysons Corner store. Jack the manager is excellent and very professional, he deserves the title of a manager (leader) top notch customer service.Thank you Tyson’s Corner Apple store, you are the best!!!!!

Professionalism is a joke here. I parked my car at their designated pick up spot. They kept me waiting for 40min inside the store and then asked me to move my car and threatened to tow my car otherwise. For the whole time, they had more than half of employees idle or chitchatting.

Waited outside in line for 10 minutes to find out they’re not allowing “in store” shopping. Referred me to any/all other electronic stores to “touch and feel” Apple products because their stores are only for pickups with appointments. If I knew what I wanted and could easily order online, that would be fine but that is not the case. Wasted $5 on parking to stand in the wind and then be told to leave. Very disappointing.

Not good at all, sent my apple watch for repair, was told and assured by 3 different people that they will call about cost for repair / replacement to seek approval before anything will be done. Also, they have told me the max charge it will be including tax if I were to agree to a replacement since the warranty is over. Got a shock when a new replacement was hand delivered today, and my c.c. was automatically charged ~$80 more than what was quoted. Still awaiting resolution with the issues I have with them b4 this one after I called it in immediately.I still rate it 2 stars bec the svc was quite gd at the store though the promises sound hollow now. Am still hoping they will resolve this quick base on Apple good reputation on integrity.Updated to 4-stars:Apple called to apologize about the unauthorized charges, and generosly offered the replacement free. Said both refunds will be shown on my card in a few days. I am going to trust them on it and rate them marvelous 1st as its the weekend and I dontwant them lose out on some biz bec of a mistake they have taken steps to rectify :)Still I cant give the full 5-stars bec refund is a draggy nightmare as I am sent all over as departments try to push the bug while I was made to hang on the line.

Avoid this location at all costs!Beware of lying staff. I was told the 450 I was spending was a hold to fix my MacBook not the charge. They didn’t even give me an itemized receipt after sending it back until I called Apple directly. They fixed the same exact issue that they had previously charged me 200$ at the beginning of the pandemic. It immediately broke again a week later. I tried to make an appointment in the 3 month window for warranty but guess what, they didn’t have any appointments available due to Covid. Now I’m being told I’m out of luck since I didn’t go during that 3 months, while the pandemic raged. I was essentially robbed of my hard earned money in a time when we all need it the most. Don’t tell people your taking their money for a hold when your not, that is theft. Shame on Apple you have lost us as consumers.

While I think it’s nearly impossible to have a negative experience at an Apple store, I wish to give special recognition to Nicole. She nailed an issue I was having with my computer in a matter of minutes, after I had spent many frustrating hours on the phone trying to troubleshoot with technicians. Nicole was personable, friendly and efficient, and listened to me before making her recommendation. I had a great customer experience because Nicole went out her way to make a difference.

Excellent, knowledgeable and friendly customer service. Made an appointment and went in for a battery replacement for a three year old phone. Apple website says it should take about 30 minutes, this store said it would be an hour when I dropped it off. It took about an hour and 10 which is a bit slow, but was more than made up for by quality work and excellent interactions with every employee I talked to at the store. There were several interesting classes going on while I was there which seemed worth stopping by for later on. It’s a busy area so you may have to search a little for parking, but there is street parking available in the 1/2 mile area.

ALWAYS DISAPPOINTING!This Apple store always disappoints me! They are never very accommodating and the customer service is always extremely lacking. I went today to see if I could have a Belkin screen cover that I had bought at their location to be replaced with a warranty screen cover that was sent to me by Belkin. They said sorry we can’t help you you need to make an appointment and come back but there were no more available appointments for the rest of the day and you can’t make one in the future you have to wait for the day of to make that appointment. So they said get onto our website at 8 AM and see if you can get one people fight for the appointments but if you go right on at eight you should be able to make one for that same day. Disappointed I left and went to my usual Apple store in Georgetown that is always very customer service oriented and always very accommodating. There is a completely different feel when you interact with the employees in Georgetown than when you do it in Clarendon. I have been to the Clarendon location many times and always leave frustrated and disappointed. I have been to the Georgetown location many times and always leave satisfied with the amazing customer service that’s been provided to me. The manager at Clarendon either needs to change the way he manages, be retrained, or be fired. The manager at the Georgetown Apple store needs to give the manager at the Clarendon store some training on how to have a staff behave.I went to the Georgetown location and I walked up and asked them if they could replace my warranty replacement screen they said absolutely and they had someone come out. I went in and I was out literally in under five minutes and on my way once again a satisfied customer of The Georgetown Apple Store.

This is actually closed. Its just a location where someone can check your computer physically for repairs. But then they dont do repairs -- its a 5 business day turnaround for any issue. Totally unreasonable. If you pay the premium for an Apple, now you have to also buy a backup Apple since they dont repair anything. :-/

The first person who Interacted with the when I approached the store was a young man with an extremely rude tone. As someone who’s worked in customer service myself, that is unacceptable. A woman did help me after but I honestly don’t know if I will be coming back to this location, or recommending it to anyone based off of that experience.

This is one of the worst Apple stores EVER. The staff is rude & acts like theyre doing all of us a favor. I went to pick up my brand new laptop with an appointment in hand the day before thanksgiving and everyone I encountered just acted like snobs. The guy in this oversized beanie told us where the line started in the rudest manner. I noticed a Spanish speaking employee being very rude to an older Spanish gentleman who was having difficulty understanding the technical aspects of his issue. At the same time I noticed another employee talking to a much older gentleman in the most technical language possible and it was clear he too was having difficulties understanding what was going on. Scheduled an appointment here to have my iMac OS updated. It’s old yes; however it’s still compatible with the upgrade requested. In spite of the compatibility, the Genius Bar employee, Victor, would not touch it, citing store policy due to it’a age. To be fair, V was kind, so my issue was not with him but with the policy. All of my devices are Apple, I would have been a lifetime customer but I bought my devices mostly because of the higher level of service provided. How disappointing that in my hour of need I’ve been turned away because my device isn’t new and worthy of service. I know that I need a new computer, but that’s just not in the budget this semester, so all I needed was a High Sierra .dmg installer to hold it all together for a few more months. Now I’m heartbroken that I no longer feel confident purchasing a new iMac because I don’t want to end up in the same situation in another few years. If the devices are intended to be so expendable, why would I pay more for Apple vice a PC that would last for just as long but cost half as much?

Bought a $40 Belkin screen protector with free replacement for life of device. Get replacement from Belkin that has to be installed by Apple. Apple refuses to install the screen protector nor will give a refund. Asked to speak to the manager and they would not come out of the store and refused to speak to me and outdoor associate refused to identify the manager.And, if I dispute it with my bank, I’m sure they’ll block that credit card on all Apple devices soooooo...god bless.

We went to upgrade to an iPhone 11 and were quoted a price of $650.00. Salesperson charged our account and said receipt would be sent on the phone. We got the receipt 24 hours later in the amount of 699.00 plus tax. Store manager said the salesperson didn’t explain the cost well. I came to this store driving all the way from Springfield hopping to get help with my iPhone camera defect.The first agent (lady) approached me and started asking me wether I have made appointment or not.Extra explaining that this store doesn’t accept waking in never accept wake in which was not trueI can not explain in words, but her treatment and explanation was not friendly. My husband I went to Clarendon today to get our phones upgraded and we had the pleasure of having Lara help us. She was able to answer all our questions and get our new phones started. My older phone was having trouble transferring data over to my new phone and Tay came over to help me. He was so patient as we tried to figure out the underlying issue and he figured it out! I called the store 3 times to check on availability. The last time I called i stated, to the automated system, what i was looking for. It wasnt until it was attempting to get a sales rep on the phone that I realize I accidentally placed myself on mute. Nevertheless someone picked up the line, because it stopped ringing. Battery died after only 2 years. After hours on the phone with technical support, it turned out to be a hardware issue. It took forever to get an appointment at this place and even then had to wait around to drop it off. When I got the machine back, IT HAD A TOTALLY NEW PROBLEM!! After dealing with Apple tech support again (this of course involves several hours of waiting on hold, trying random things), nothing worked, so it is, indeed, a hardware issue. Sounds like maybe someone got the wires crossed. Not what I expected from the Genius bar, but now I know better....Now I have to take the machine BACK IN so they can fix their mistake. But of course, when I try to call this store, I cant get through to anyone who works there. I give all my information to an Apple representative whos not even at this location but will transfer me, and am then HUNG UP ON.Needless to say, IM DONE... Ill be taking my machine to be repaired somewhere else and never buying another Apple product after this horrendous experience. People only pay so much money for Apple products because theyre supposed to be high enough quality to not have problems for at least 3 years...but, if they do, people at least expect to have their issues resolved in a reasonably quick/competent manner. Neither expectation holds true anymore at Apple, so farewell.

I went to the Clarendon Apple store this weekend for a broken watch. The genius bar manager Tim assisted me to find a solution for my broken watch. They were extremely professional, helpful, and patient. They worked for 2 hours to find me a working solution and I am so thankful for this amazing customer service. Brought my laptop in to drop off for repairs, the estimated time for repair was completely different than what I had been told before. The associate helping me vanished and I waited for 20 minutes (I assumed he was checking something or helping another customer) I finally asked if anyone knew what had happened to him and I was told he had clocked out/gone on break without saying anything. Never had dissatisfactory service at an Apple store before, I was rather disappointed. The next person, Gracie, was very helpful, I’m glad she was there to step in.

Waited in line with some others before opening, watched as they had their rally before the door opened. Someone directed me to the lap top area when I asked. I looked at what was there and could not figure out how I can use these with the way I’ve use laptops in the past. So I tried to make eye contact with all and any sales person nearby(keep in mind there is 2 to 1sales people). I even had one guy come to my table straighten out the screens on the laptops all around me. So I asked the tallest fellow across the room, who the manager was. He said he was one and came over. I asked basic questions and was quickly made to feel that I was wasting his time.So come to the Apple Store get ignored then profiled as not their type . I hate angry reviews they are not productive. I’m not angry, I’m sad that Apple has become _____________ (you fill it in).Reviews for this store are mediocre at best.

Bill, the manager, makes this place everything that it is: personable, friendly, a real community.Ive had some exceptionally lackluster experiences with Apple Stores, particularly because Apple is WAY TOO LITIGIOUS for its own good, and way to quick to get argumentative and combative. I think some of that may be the culture of a bunch of math geeks (i.e. computer people) who can get rigid only too easily. But the other part of it is the trend amongst our california tech bros to reject responsibility utterly and completely, thinking they can merely paper their way to indemnity. (As a heads up to Apple: you cant. Youre not entitled to consequence free human interactions, regardless of what your legal department may tell you. Humans will have expectations. Develop human skills and deal with it.)And now Bill: Bill is wonderful. He exudes ease, sophistication in his store and his management, and a clear and convincing world view born of having been around the block before. He understands people. He understands how to build customer relationships. He continually counsels his employees (or at least so I have seen) to err on the side of preserving the relationship, building trust with his customer base, and being a true and trusted resource for people like me who have completely bought into the Apple ecosystem and need help from time to time.Manuela is always quick to come right up to me and give me a hug whenever Im in the store. She remembers her customers and makes sure that we always feel validated, welcome, and like we are amongst friends. Shes the best of the best when it comes to a company like Apple: she builds long term customer relationships that engender loyalty and buy-in to Apples continual product releases and services. Is it any surprise that an employee like this exists under the management of Bill? Of course not. Completely expected.Jeffrey is always good humored. He knows his stuff has helped me on multiple occasions. He strikes me as someone who just really loves his job and brings that enthusiasm to his interactions. I really love how much product knowledge he has and how honest he is with me about what I do need and what I dont need. I also really love his ease and his calmness: he doesnt have that Apple Store Fake that you can find from time to time. Walked in the store and was immediately greeted and placed in a virtual line. Was asked to wait by the computer I was interested in. Within about 15 minutes was greeted and assisted. Once a product decision was made, the computer came out of the back. Very fast and efficient. Not a bad experience at all. By the way, this was on a Saturday morning about 11 AM or so.

I have had a few positive experiences (mainly when making purchases) at this location, but the customer service at the Georgetown location and a few other Apple stores Ive been to (e.g. Grand Central in NYC) was much better.I went in on a Monday evening and was greeted by a surly Genius (Genius-gatekeeper? Gatekeeper to the Geniuses?) who informed me that everything was full and no walk-ins were available. I explained I just had a CD trapped in my drive and could I leave my laptop and information and pick it up at a later date -- but, according to the Genius-keeper, no one was available to take down my information. (Despite the fact that both he and a Genius-keeper-minion were clearly not busy with anything other than looking surly.) Ive always been told in other Apple Store locations that I can try to wait 15 or 20 minutes to see if someone opens up for a walk-in, but these Genius-keepers were firm -- no availability til Wednesday.Thats fine, but, pro tip, if your store is busy... smile, sound apologetic, make a few jokes... try to offer up SOME sort of comfort to your customer! I made an appointment for 7:35pm. I arrived around 7:30pm and was very promptly greeted and directed to the service bar. Then from there, the experience went down hill. I waited 30 minutes past the time of my appointment to even be spoken to by the member who was supposed to help me and they were only coming to say they were delayed. That notification should have happened 20 minutes before. What is the point of appointments if their employees don’t keep them? If I had been buying a new product, I would’ve been finished in the time I waited to be spoken to at the service bar. And they don’t even do repairs same day so I waited thirty minutes to be told I would have to leave my device for 2-5 days. Why did I need to sit there? Why couldn’t I have just dropped it off? I will not be repairing my Mac, I will be switching to Microsoft.

It is a smaller but significantly less crowded Apple store. The “geniuses” here are friendlier than other stores. I had a couple of interactions with them including replacing my phone for a small defect, and everything went very smoothly and efficiently. As usual they are well trained and knowledgeable, but the difference is that the hint of arrogance, that is basically a trademark for them, is kind of tuned down here.

Pretty straight forward apple store. They expanded their space so there is a ton of room to look at phones and macbooks galore. They have all the extras as well, such as headphones and drones. Service is pretty good, but gets slow when it is busy. Always doing some type of construction (put up a new sign three weeks ago).

Though smaller by today’s Apple Store standards, this is my preferred Va location. Usually not too crowded. I don’t know why, but they are much more friendly and helpful than Pentagon City.

Do not come here they sell broken apple products I’ve bought 3 items all broken or damaged. I’ve exchanged... still broken and damaged. Unless you plan on going to the apple store every week don’t bother here. Apple Pencils don’t hold a charge... iPads with dead pixels... people are friendly though nothing against them.

I had an issue with a 2014 Mac desktop. The staff did a wonderful job in assessing the problem reformatting a hard drive in getting the unit back in service. My appointment was right on time and the service was excellent.

I forgot the password for my 6S plus, I went there, and I have seen More in 35 person ( Employees ) in this store, & nobody know how to make a reset for the iphone, and the supervisor she say we cannot do it and she didn’t see the phone and she didn’t know what happened on the phone.If u want buy u can go, any others service don’t go there.

The Genius who helped me tried diligently to resolve the problem I had with my MacBook. Ultimately he couldnt, but he made a call appointment with Mac Central the next day and they figured it out. That was really good, helpful service culminating in a successful outcome. Very satisfied with the staff at this Apple Store.

I had to give it 1 star. The experience was really worth 0 stars. My daughter & I werent greeted at all. The sales guy wasnt knowledgeable about the charging case she was asking about. Overall, I give it a -5 stars.
