Great tasting food and friend staff need a little house keeping

The service here is extremely rude. He responds with statements like “does it look like we..” to questions about what they offer, and insulting statements about reading the menu, so I decided to take my business elsewhere. The place was empty and they “get their food from next door anyway”, as the man told me when I walked out. Save yourself the time.

This place was open VERY late which is nice if youre getting out of the club and want to smoke hookah. Establishment is clean and employees are friendly. The hookah is average: flavor, price, physical hookah itself. It comes with a plastic hose and tip which I personally am not a major fan. The ambience/environment is good but parking can be difficult. Enjoy!

Absolutely horrible...and I never leave restaurant reviews but this experience needed one. Overcharged me (approximately 2 times what I expected to pay) by adding charges I didn’t expect to my order and insisting they were correct (adding bread I didn’t ask for, charging 2 kabobs instead of one even though I only asked for one, and overcharging for veggie kabob). This was even after our waiter requested that our group of four order more food because we didn’t have enough. Waiter rolled his eyes at my friends. I am appalled.

Very happy to see the old staff back ! Isham is a great manager and very professional/people friendly! Great hookah and even better food! Good music and they also take music request. The prices are now reasonable before with prior management all prices sky rocketed but now I can Enjoy my hookah with out breaking the bank!-daddy

It is a very nice and cosy hookah place... the food is delicious and the meal is generous. The prices are really reasonable and opens late. I would definitely recommend it. The music is also good but sometimes is too loud. Overall, it is worth it.

Short trive from D.C. this place is my type of hookah lounge. Unlike the other hookah lounges in the area, or in D.C. this one is quiet. It also has an option of regular coals rather than easy lights. They have playing cards and backgammon.

I wouldnt like to be aggressive when rating this place cause i only was there once but still I felt that their Hooka is overpriced.The place is nicely decorated and it has an authentic touch.The seats were comfortable and the service was okay but could be better

1$ for 2 coco nara coals ??? This is so Bizarre and never been to a hookah lounge whereI have ti pay to get coco nara coals, why I am paying 20+ dollars for a hookah ? Guy who works is nice as far as you are really really nice but here and there will give you negative vibe.Hookah itself was fine and if you don’t wana pay for coals, you can get quick lites.Even with that when i asked for for extra quick lites he came to see if I really needed.Next time I am taking my business elsewhere.Two stars just for hookah but quick lites kill it anyways.

Good hookah and the food is from the same kitchen as kabob place- which means its absolutely great. Would go there more often but I live slightly far. Any where closer and Id be there all the time.

Excellent service and excellent staff especially Mr. Gopal with great smile and attitude with customers. The hookah was outstanding and the place is very relaxed and quite with all kind of music (you name it they have it).

Its good for eating and just to talk while smoking hookah. The service is good and the hookah is not bad but if you are looking a place to dance this is not it.

I have never left a bad review in my life for any place I been too, but this time place really took my anger out of my control...! Very disrespectful staff they had no respect for us. I was so disappointed and I dont recommend this place to anyone. Bad tasting drinks and bad hookah!

Really enjoyed my time at the Sahara Cafe. The customer service was fantastic and the staff was very friendly.

This restaurant will double-charged your credit card!! My friend happened to check her bank statement online and noticed the double charges. “Coincidently”, I was also charged doubled. I called the restaurant and an employee on-duty answered. I told the gentleman that I was charged twice from the night before and he responded that I should I contact my bank because it wasn’t the restaurant’s fault. At this point I’m starting to think if there doing this to everyone else? I called again and this time I told them that I will get legal authority involved because my bank clearly tells me that 2 transactions were made from this restaurant. Finally, they made some silly excuse about a problem between their machine and the banks, and said that they cant fix it. He stated that the problem would correct itself in a few days and to call back if it didnt. The response I received was unacceptable and that kind of customer services was disgraceful. The service during the meal was equally bad. It took a long time for our meals to arrive and everything in that slum was overpriced. I would not recommend this place for anyone and if you think otherwise then good luck paying $8 for a small cup of coffee and have fun disputing the chargers.Cheers,
