An amazing local coffee shop with housemade seasonal drinks. Their Pumpkin Spice latte is made with real pumpkin and the perfect level of sweetness. Also try their Bumble for an awesome iced drink, and the Bee Sting for a spicy weekend treat.Plus they have a bunch of hot sauces you can sample!Love these guys and their coffee!
Holy $h!t balls! This place is the bees knees! Im a coffee buff and professional foodie and this place is so phenomenal Im taking the time to write a review. Just visiting the area and Ive had coffee from a few different places. This is a 5 star experience, from the food to the customer service! I had the bumble (orange juice and espresso specialty drink) its not something I would normally pick but I was feeling adventurous and read a bunch of reviews and wanted to try it; exceeded my expectations. I will be craving this drink for months until I can make a return visit back to the area. I got The Marty breakfast sandwich. It was a huge cheat for me, but worth every bite. I texted my hubby about it for 20 minutes straight... so Im going to say Im enthralled. Such a win!
Lovely coffee shop! I got an iced mocha here and thought it was excellent. Great quality. They also have lots of more adventurous flavors! The place has such a nice vibe with couches and arm chairs and cute decorations. The staff was super friendly and talked to each customer about what each of their speciality drinks are like. They also have great free wifi. Great place to do some work or meet a friend and enjoy some great coffee. I’ll be back!!
Great coffee! Missed my chance to try a sandwich (cutoff at 11) but Ill be back! Small cafe but super service and quality pastries.
Exceptional coffee shop operated by the owners. The best breakfast pastries and sandwiches you can find anywhere in Arlington and the surrounding area. I highly recommend trying The Wade sandwich and any of their rotating drink specials (secret menu item - The Hamlet). All pastries, food, and drinks are made in-house and crafted for their purpose. No pumps of flavoring here. Added kudos and cool-ness for featuring a mini-theater that has showings of great movies very frequently. Another solid perk is its a great place to pick-up a variety of specialty hot sauces from local and abroad. If youre nearby, look no further, Kino Coffee is where you need to go.
Lovely little coffee shop!! I have been frequenting Kino since they opened. Quality drinks, wonderful staff, PLUS... they sell a curated collection of hot sauces and screen movies occasionally! Anything from old horror flicks to international independent films to the latest comedies coming out in theaters. Cheers to Kino Coffee! (recent photo of one of their seasonal drinks: iced jalapeno-basil lemonade with a shot of matcha)
This hole in the wall coffee shop offers the joy and the comfort of a small town coffee shop. The baristas are so lovely! We got the besting, feeling adventurous this morning, and it was the best coffee I believe Ive ever had!
If you like spicy stuff, go here. Their ghost pepper mocha is to die for, and the Bee Sting Latte is delicious. The food is so good, I do not think I have truly had an egg sandwich before this moment. Theyve been my go-to weekend coffee treat for a while, and I do believe food has been added to the tradition. Seriously, give them a go. Best coffee Ive had in the area.
Good coffee and friendly folks in a cozy setting. Offerings from espresso specialty drinks (including the famous bumble) to cold brew are all delicious. Rotating selection of baked goods always make for a nice accompaniment if not in the mood for a fresh breakfast sandwich. Bags of local coffee beans not commonly found elsewhere are also a great service for drinking at home.
TLDR: definitely check this place out :-)My fiancé and I realized that Kino changed hands (there had been a coffee shop in the same location previously but we had never been), and it was always crowded on the sidewalk. They also redid their exterior and I’m a sucker for curb appeal so we checked it out... We went twice in three days. Cold brew is delicious, sandwiches were honestly incredible and HUGE (picture does not do it justice). Made to order and just so well executed. This is the Cassidy (don’t worry, not too spicy!)
My new favorite coffee spot! Many hold overs from Java Hut, which was an incredible establishment lost to us in Arlington in 2019ish. So great to have a creative chill coffee spot with baristas that really care about their tasty creations. Cannot recommend enough!
Absolutely the best coffee shop around. Charming decor, great service, and consistently excellent coffee drinks. Also, lots of menu items that are delicious and a little different that you wont find anywhere else!
Wonderful coffee perfect for a great start to the day! Highly recommend the outdoor seating, sunny and cheerful with lots of dogs supporting the cafe (due to their home baked dog treats). #support local business
Authentic local place. It feels like the owners know about coffee :)Furthermore, they are in love with what they are doing and express themselves in the business, decoration, and music uniquely.I had a small dripped coffee and chocolate zucchini muffin.Usually, there is not much to expect from a person who drinks black coffee :) but it was good! Thanks for partnering with local coffee roasters and supporting each other!
Taking over another coffee shop space, Kino Coffee is a new coffee concept brewing locally roasted coffee with handcrafted syrups. Heres why you should visit:1) Coffee: Its quality coffee and the baristas know what they are doing. My latte with early grey syrup hit the spot.2) Food: They have a variety of pastries. I opted for the zucchini chocolate chip muffin and it was delicious.3) Space: Its a small, well-designed coffee shop with seating inside (couches, chairs and tables) and a sidewalk outdoor patio.4) Vibe: They host a pop-up cinema in the back room making it a very unique coffee shop.
Relaxed vibe and fantastic custom drinks and breakfast sandwiches, especially of you like a little kick. Bee Sting Latte is a new favorite.
Kino Coffee is a very quaint coffee shop which, hands down, makes the best coffee Ive had anywhere in the U.S. Beyond the excellent customer service, the wonderful interior, and the superb coffee, the fact that going in I know for 200% that I will be getting the same quality coffee every time is what sets them apart from any other cafe in the area. I have gone there over 50 times I want to say in the past few months and have never been disappointed.Im quite vanilla about my coffee choices and usually stick to a whole milk latte. However, since going to Kino Coffee, I have absolutely fallen in love with their custom Bee Stink coffee which is just out of this world. Its a perfect blend of milky, sweet and spicy. Absolutely love it!If you are a lover of coffee and very picky about coffee quality, I highly recommend you check these guys out. I guarantee you wont be disappointed!
Amazing coffee. My new go-to spot in the area. Try everything! I loved their london fog and their latte.
Great little coffee shop! Creative drink menu, reasonable prices, local coffee roasters, and friendly service. Highly recommend Bee Sting Latte, it’s amazing! They also show movies in their micro cinema on weekends.
One of the best coffee places in this area! The Bee Sting is amazing. Friendly staff and great outdoor and indoor seating.
Very friendly staff. I had an iced beetroot latte with macadamia milk. It hit the spot and was not too sweet.
This coffee shop is an absolute gem. The couple that runs it are so nice, and they offer totally delicious drinks from ghost pepper mochas to bee sting lattes. They also have an awesome selection of hot sauces that I greatly appreciate as a hot sauce addict
Went there for the first time Sunday the 14th. Very cute inside, good biscuits and great coffee. I didn’t find the girl who was working the register to be very friendly though. If you asked her a question she would reply by saying “you can read the descriptions” or “the descriptions are right there.” Happened to the customer behind me as well, who in turn walked out. Maybe she was having a bad day or maybe she just doesn’t have time to answer questions, who knows? I would go back again because I try to give places a second change, hopefully she will be in a better mood or just not working that day.
Staff is helpful, friendly and the service is fast. The menu has options that have kick and you might not find anywhere like the Bee Sting Latte. My friend and I were very pleased.
Wow. So impressed with this place.1. The young lady that helped knew what ab aeropress was...so rare.2. She described the beans without looking at a cheat sheet.3. She offered brew methods and temperature suggestions, first time in my life thats ever happened.Whoever has trained this staff to look customers in the eye, act professionally, and provided them all this coffee knowledge has my upmost respect. Absolutely floored by the service.
Great spot, the owners are super friendly and make delicious drinks! For the past year I’ve been getting my coffee beans exclusively from here and couldn’t be happier.
Favorite coffee shop in Arlington!
Coffee and baked goods are great. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Will be coming back many more times.
Beautiful atmosphere, decor and wonderful coffee blends fuse to create a wonderful dining experience at earls sandwiches
I LOVE HOW CREATIVE THE MENU IS!!! The staff is also incredibly friendly. The Bumble is a MUST! I appreciate how during the pandemic they have stayed on top of everything. If you wanna visit a super creative place, where they care about their costumers, then you should must definitely stop by This Is Fine Coffee!!
Great coffee shop! Really cute and comfortable environment. Awesome coffee! They know their stuff, I’m very particular about my coffee so I appreciated the care they took. Such a sweet and friendly couple running the shop! My new fave coffee spot.
Great cortado and raspberry scone.
Brand new place with Husband and Wife ownership. You can tell they are still figuring things out. I ordered a mocha latte. It was fine (as the name of the place implies). I prefer mine to be a little sweeter, but others may prefer it this way. It was very smooth and nicely balanced however. Will likely return in a few months. I see potential and looking forward to improvements going forward as the place matures!
Very nice owner! We had a great conversation. The coffee is some of the best I have had. Highly recommend.
I have found my new favorite coffee shop. Delicious drinks, friendly staff, and comfortable atmosphere. It is a must visit for anyone in the area.
This place has so much character. The baristas are so friendly, know your name, ask how you’re doing and mean it. The menu is delicious, just simple good food. And a great location. Definitely support this business, because Arlington sorely needs local coffee shops and not big chains!
Lovely little spot, great people working there and the ghost pepper mocha is delicious!
Excellent coffee and chill atmosphere.
The Most Chill Coffee Spot Ever! Well, I did go on a Sunday mid-morning, but everything was so calm, relaxing, quiet. “I LOVE IT.” says Mr. Anxiety. Music, decor, people all play well into the chill.Oh, my almond milk latte and “Say Chorizo” breakfast sandwich were both A+.Great little spot worth supporting.
Great non-corporate coffee house. Owners are art lovers with who like good music. Nice for studying of meeting a friend. Try the Bumble coffee! It is bizarre but awesome.
Fine coffee! Knowledgeable staff (and owners) who have a fun vision for this quaint coffee shop. The Bumble may not be for everyone, but worth a try.
Super cute coffee place near Court House metro. They were very friendly and it was nice and cozy. I loved the Russian cartoons they had on over the bar.
Great vibe, really good coffee. So happy to see an independent shop move into the area. And yeah, you should try the bumble coffee. An excellent addition to the neighborhood!
I love this place! The staff are awesome, the coffee is great, and there are board games! Definitely will come back.
Great little neighborhood coffee shop! Always super friendly service, delicious baked goods, and you must try their famous Bumble coffee!
Wu-tang forever
The owners are there making your coffee with care. One of the owners is a previous employee of the original Java Shack. My mocha was delicious. They also sell small snacks such as pie, cake, yogurt cups etc.
Bumble is unexpectedly fantastic. Also the place is full of personality — something that can’t be said about most of ultra-sleek corporate coffee places popping up in the area.
Awful service and rude staff. Also overpriced. Not very smart, especially during the current economic climate. Won’t last long unless the owners really change things around. Avoid.
Popped in today. Really, really enjoyed the latte. Much better than the surrounding coffee joints.
Fantastic coffee, kind service
Super disappointed with my experience here. Initially, I was super excited about this coffee shop — I love the open-air concept, and from the outside it looked to have a very relaxing and welcoming vibe...which made me so excited for all the spring afternoons I could spend working here. When I first walked in, no one greeted me and I got a crazy deer-in-the-headlights look from the male barista. When I said hello, the female barista at the counter looked extremely bothered and barely could mutter a dry and clearly inconvenienced hi. I attempted to make a joke to lighten the mood during my ordering process, but was met with the most stern glare from the girl at the front. It was extremely off-putting and I felt like a bother even being there, because it seemed like they clearly didnt want anyone inside. The coffee was good, but over-priced. Not to mention the wifi didnt work, and I was honestly so unsettled that I ended up leaving after an hour. Im a very easy customer and not hard to please — give me a drink, wifi and a place to sit and Im happy. So I dont think its asking for a lot to be greeted with a smile and feel welcomed to a place Im choosing to spend my time/money. Some basic people skills are sorely needed here. Love the shop and the area, but will definitely not be coming back and have already taken it off my Clarendon recommendation list.
The finest brew in Arlington 🐸☕️ a nice spot for a quick sip or to catch up with friends!
This place is cozy and has games! The sweet bread is so yummy.
Great coffee, bumble coffee is awesome. They’re always very busy — think this is the new spot in Arlington!
Fresh bread, good coffee, fantastic folding doors at the front of the restaurant give the feel of a sidewalk cafe without being in the flow of foot traffic. Havent tried any of the prepared foods
When the Java Shack closed, I despaired. For weeks, I wandered the neighborhood, continually frustrated in my search for a decent cup of coffee in a comfortable surrounding. At the Blumen Cafe, I ordered a latte and got a mocha. Northside Social makes good coffee, but the place is too crowded, too noisy and probly too hip for me. The coffee at Bayou Bakery is meh, and the tudes are terrible. Oby Lee Creperie makes a terrific latte, but the furniture is downright painful for people who arent doll-size and dainty. Then This Is Fine Coffee moved into the former Blumen Cafe. Its new and shiny, but it has a very earthy, unpretentious Java Shack vibe. Its even run and staffed by Java Shack alumni. I sat next to a very fine latte for an hour in the sunlight shining thru the shops big bay window and comfortably read Poe (it was his birthday) for an hour. Ive been here only twice (hence the fifth star held in reserve), but it already feels like a good fit. I think Ive found my official new hangout.
Seems a bit pricy for what you get.
Latte served in dirty cup, burnt lemon pound cake. Cute place
Cute place, good coffee.
Outstanding coffee and friendly service.
Yum!
