Having a lot lizard, a sales person, an assistant, a closer and the finance guy keeps your head spinning at all times purposely designed - which is pretty hilarious.I have bought and sold vehicles with Vandergriff over the years and always had a decent experience this was no exception. I’ll give you 4 stars however point out that my particular sales person although a likable kid had NO clue about the Chevy Traverse what was included what wasn’t or it’s operational features. Usually I will quickly look over all this but I was in a hurry so I didn’t pay attention to a few minor details - bottom line was I may have spent 5000 more to get a few features that I was told were included on this unit but were not!Vandergriff always adds the fluff and stuff like most dealerships do .It’s never MSRP. So expect an additional $3000 over from what they’re advertised web prices are and beat them down! Wouldn’t it be nice if you didn’t have to do that? It’s what makes the car buying experience one of your least favorite in life. Would have gave this dealership five stars without the surprise $3000 bump.And if you’re going to do it at least put it on the web so people know what to expect it’s a trust issue and dealerships have been getting away with it for yearsI’m very comfortable and satisfied with my purchase - the Traverse is a solid, smooth, quiet, great running vehicle with plenty of power and room. It also has an excellent turn ratio . The LS version has no real safety features - the makeover for 2022 will include a few of those which would’ve been nice.I’ve bought over 40 new vehicles in my life and I can honestly say I’ve never gotten plates and registration mailed four days after the sale and Title 2 Weeks later ha that’s pretty awesome

MJ is the best service advisor in the world. Lets start. His attitude is OUTSTANDING. Knows what he is talking about. My 2019 drop top camaro is in Great hands. Except chevy has told me that 1Daytime running lights to replace cost $1800. For a chevy. Going foreign quick. I see why lots of Americans go foreign and never go back.

I highly recommend this facility/Service Center. My car would not crank at all. I got it towed to the facility after they had already closed for the night and before 8am the next morning Mr. Jonathan Pope was calling to get information about my vehicle. He was so efficient and communicated with me every step of the way. I recommend this service center 110%. Ask for Mr. Jonathan Pope, he was AMAZING!

Well everything was ok until I got home that Saturday 10/30/2021 and later that day my check engine light came on, I hooked up my code reader and got a P 0174 code = system too Lean bank 2, after lifting the hood I found the valve from the air filter going into the engine was not connected, I connected the hose and reset the check engine light. I did this because it was late Saturday and you all had closed and not open on Sunday. I brought the truck back Monday 11/1/2021 morning and was told I should be alright since I connected the hose back and reset the check engine light.

My vehicle was in the repair shop for 2 weeks. I was told it could be a month before they could get the parts to repair my car. From beginning to end was a great experience. My experience was great everyone was nice and so helpful and informative. This was my first time buying a car so I was extremely nervous. I waited almost 20 minutes inside my vehicle in the pull up lane for service. I had an appointment with Vianey Hernandez and was later told by Oscar that she wasn’t there that day. My appointment was at 8:00 am got there at 8:02 am. Oscar did a poor job in not informing me of my different options to save money and complete the most adequate service possible. He spoke very vaguely about the prices and mentioned zero discounts. He said that the tire rotation and oil change was going to be quote on quote “80 something”. I ended up getting just the oil change thinking I was going to save more money but my total was 98.96! I was shocked because the lady at the register told me I could have got both the tire rotation and the oil change for a lower price because that was a discount in those services. Oscar mentioned nothing about that option. Getting a senior advisor does not guarantee that we will receive the best customer service possible. There was no interest in helping me get the best deals and service possible. I will not be returning to any Chevy dealership for service. Thank you.

Dropped my vehicle off first thing in the morning for an oil change, rotate and balance, and multi-point inspection. I was gone from the dealership for less than 30 mins and my vehicle was ready to go. Service advisor was great and work was quick and flawless. Highly recommend!

I set up an appointment for 9 am for an oil change and tire rotation, only to arrive and find out there is already a 2.5 hr wait time. Waited 3 hrs with no updates. Finally left after 3.5 hrs. They had a vending machine that took exact change and I only had a 5 on me. My bs dropped and I begged for my car so I could go get some food. It upsets me that they require appts and they delay everything.

Im seeing several reviews involving a $3K mark-up right before signing. It happened to me. Their first offer was $3,000 over the price listed online. When I pointed it out to the sales rep., his manager tried to meet me in the middle at $1,500 over the listed price, so I left.The next day I was contacted by a different sales rep. and their manager offered at $900 over the listed price. When I pointed it out, they responded What I sent you is what my manager said the price was. If you want to come in and talk with him in person about $900 I can set that up for you. I was done after that.I only asked them to honor the price listed on their website, and they refused every time. This is textbook bait and switch and its clearly not just one person doing it. Avoid this dealership.

I went to buy a truck CASH for the price on their website that is a little over $48000 and they added so much fees and packages that I was going to pay over $59000 and that’s not including the warranties that they were going to sell me later. I left home totally disappointed of this dealership because I had have bought a truck from them before.

She explained to us the features of the Car we needed to buy for our family and even assisted and providing us with additional benefits and discounts that we can apply to the purchase. After the purchase she followed up with an appointment to help us understand all the features on the car. She even sent a text reminder for us to complete emergency settings in the Car. Matt met me on the lot and explained that they didn’t have the truck that I was looking for in stock (or so he thought) but he would be more than happy to let me know when one became available. Twenty minutes later Matt was on the phone explaining that the truck I was looking for had been delivered the night before and other buyers were circling as we spoke. lolI drove back over, only breaking the speed limit a little, and a couple of hours later she was mine!Best Dealership Experience EVER!

I recieved my recall notice from GM saying the parts were in for the recall. I called Vandergriff Chevy and spoke with Charlie Pace to see if it could be done in a day which he replied yes. Then I asked can it be done in one day if I add replacing 4 shocks (which requires an alignment as well) and he replied yes and what about if I add replaciing the spark plugs, 1 day and he replied yes and I said ok stretching my luck here what about replacing 1 tire and recalibrating the tire sensors, still one day and he replied yes if the tire is available. The tire came in late that day and I told them to wait till in the morning to do that. When I got it back it was also washed and vacuumed (no small feat for a horse person truck). They had checked the brakes and a few other things and all were in good shape. Damien, the Advisor, was so courteous and responsive with updates. I have driven my truck for a day now and everything is perfect.

I wasn’t upset, just expected it to be long because I didn’t have an appointment. Throughout my wait Oscar updated me on my vehicle in terms of what else I needed to get fixed. When it came to checkout Oscar decided not to charge me because of the wait. This was completely unexpected, I wasn’t even upset about the wait but he took it a step beyond. This act of service showed me he cared about me as a customer and respected my time. I HAVE NEVER GOTTEN GREAT SERVICE AT THIS LOCATION. Oscar changed that today.I actually prayed that I would get good service on this visit. And GOD answered my prayers. Thank you Oscar, keep up the excellent customer service.

Set up an appointment for 9/3 arrived at my scheduled time 12pm sat in my car until 12:15ish, finally someone came& asked me what I needed told him that I had scheduled an appointment for 12& he said “well we are pretty behind on scheduled appointments” so I asked him how much behind he said it could take up to 3hours for my oil change/check up maintenance. I could wait that long so I had to come back later at 3:30 which still took 1hr& half. Well definitely not be returning to this dealership.

Needed to get the oil changed in my Tahoe. Stopped in without an appointment and found out that Vandergriff provides a Lyft service to take you anywhere within a 10 mile trip, and then another ride back to the dealership when your service is complete. So convenient and unexpected!!

Knowing that Vandergriff treats their customers very well and they’re honest is a reason for me to leave this review. Damien is very professional and personable. They didn’t pressure for up-sale, but rather gave me options of what could be done during the work I had requested/needed to be completed. I would certainly go back next time I’m in state and in the area. Prices are higher than what I’m used to because I don’t live in a metro area but I needed honesty, quality service and I had a time window which was met. Thanks Vandergriff

Mike did an awesome job! My car was fixed and it rolls like new. The only thing that disappointed me was that my car key was left with the GM., because I arrived 15 minutes after the Service Department closed. When I arrived the GM was talking to potential purchasers...I guess closing the deal. I waited at least 10-12 minutes before one of his employees had the courage to tap him on the shoulder to assist me. I found their fear odd.

They did a great job, I had scheduled a oil change online and arrived 15 mins early, after a 2 hour wait I decided to have them bring my truck around because I couldnt wait any longer. The service manager apologized for the wait and me not wanting to wait any longer. He told me to bring it back the following week and he would make it up to me by detailing my truck. So I brought it back the following week and arrived at 7am, the service manager that assisted me was great, unfortunately I dont remember his name, Ive slept since then. They did what they promised and I even think they repaired a tire that had a nail. BUT, I was there for 3 hours, luckily I didnt have much to do that day. Overall I was happy with the service they provided, and I will bring my truck back to them to service again.

I was ready to purchase a vehicle at the advertised price (after they agreed to remove the dealer add-ons) but they wouldnt let me use my own companys credit union. They require those who finance to do so only through them and the banks with whom they have agreements. This allows the dealership to make even more money by adding points to the interest rate (called finance reserve). Although this practice isnt that unusual, you should still be able to find other dealerships who allow you to bring your own financing and still give you a fair price....as long as they dont tack on those sneaky dealer add-ons to the advertised price.

I bought my new Chevy at Vandergriff Chevrolet. The sales/purchase experience was very good. The after the purchase service at the department is terrible, slow, uncaring, and impolite. The salesperson was very nice, informative and courteous. The service personnel act as if you should feel blessed if they wait on you. So what if you have to wait 3 hours for an oil change and that is with an appointment. Buy your car there, you will probably get a decent deal, but find another dealer for your servy. This is my last time using their Service Department.

I need the dealership to pay attention and print out the financing application forms prior to handing it to the buyers to fill. A photocopy is not sufficient and it is now extra work because phone numbers are combined with personal and referenced employers number on the paperwork and it’s an extra effort by one person that can make a difference. This is a huge purchase, please put more effort into customer service.

Consumer beware!!We saw a vehicle advertised on Vandergriff Chevrolet and called to verify if it was still available and the price. It was still available so we drove an hour to the dealership and we were prepared to purchase it. However, we were told that they always advertise their cars as “base rates” online and then they add a “reconditioning fee” that they are doing now with all vehicles. The fee was an extra $4300. After I called it deceptive practices on their part they offered to meet us halfway on the “reconditioning fee”. THAT IS FRAUD!! Fooling customers is not a good way to do business. After we got home we saw that they had updated the listing to $3k more then originally priced. We will definitely be staying away from these crooks and will let spread the word on how they do business. Oh and by the way do not tell me to contact the General Manager because after all these reviews you are still deceiving people than your business is horrible and you probably need a new Manager. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!

Had an appointment for oil change and tire rotation at 120. I was left in waiting area to wait on vehicle. After 2hrs I went to check on vehicle and found it sitting in the service area completed. Nobody informed me of the completion of service. Then had to find somebody to checkout. I thought the appointment and quick oil change area was there to speed up this process but it didnt achieve this.

My 10year+ SUV was having issues. I went to 3 different shops, paying over $1,000 in repairs. My car still was having issues. Frustrated, I called the GM dealership Service Center. I was lucky enough to speak to Paul- who accommodated me the next day, even though they were really busy.Paul is professional, personable, and just an all round pleasure to be around. I was so grateful that he talked to me (a woman) in a easy to understand way about my car. and even gave me a few maintenance tips. They quickly identified the root problem with my car and fixed it the same day.Thank you Vandergriff! I am sold. The dealership is a little more expensive, but they get it right the first- saving you money in the long run. You guys rock!

Then another hour and a half for work to be completed wife very upset it took so long even with a appointment made prior to coming in. Beware! We had called inquiring on a vehicle, where they had stated they had plenty of, to come on in and we would be able to negotiate a price. So we show up to the dealership and speak to the sales manager, and let him know what vehicle we were interested in and what price we were seeking. He then tells us that he is not willing to work on the pricing he was offering, which we understand, however that was not what was mentioned over the phone. They completely wasted our time and then he proceeds to say that has more customers than just us and he doesn’t need our business. The sales manager is rude, disrespectful and will waste your time. They will say anything just to get you in the door!! He said we wouldn’t find a better deal anywhere else but guess what, we sure did! Do not trust their pricing! DO NOT SHOP HERE!

I bought a vehicle from this dealership about two weeks ago and had to come back for tire maintenance. I picked up a nail, it wasnt anything faulty.First, the salesman, Curtis Schultz, was laid back and enjoyable to be around! We test drove a few cars together and discussed all of my questions and concerns without it feeling like a sales pitch.All of the employees in the service department were professional and courteous, but I did have issues with the service department not explaining why my tire would not be covered under my service agreement. I had to ask several questions to get a specific answer. Then my tire had to be special ordered because I did not get a Chevrolet vehicle, and they did not have my tire in stock.I did not receive a call that my replacement tire had arrived. When I called to see when it would be there, I was told it had already been there for 3 days.There was more confusion about my service agreement and what it covered even though I had already agreed to pay for the tire. I listed several issues that I had with what I had been told and how it was conflicting with my service agreement. Without any explanation, apology, or consulting, I was told that I could come in today and have my tire put on.I did go in the same day, they did replace my tire with a free one, and no one mistreated me the entire time. It was just very unpleasant that I could not get a straight answer when I asked straightforward questions

I went to get my first oil change in my pickup, and also to have them look at my radio, sometimes it would load and the next it wouldn’t. Everyone did a great job Two things I didn’t care for was the non-optional add on package of Tent that wasn’t on the car to begin with that was overcharged at $3100.00 and the fact we could not use our own bank. Other than that the staff was friendly and helpful.

Seems a common thread is the last-minute $3k in add-ins that are added to the price. Unfortunately for me, they had already run my credit; good thing that at least they were kind enough to inform me before making my 2 hour trek to the delivery spot. Funny how people keep getting referred to the GM for resolution--hes the one who call me back and begrudgingly agreed to honor the online price after I walked away from the deal. After he agreed to send me something in writing before making my trip up, he had someone call me back to tell me that since they were losing money on my deal, they would no longer deliver the car to me in Waco unless I coughed up a $1900 delivery fee. Most Texas dealers that have been delivering since COVID will deliver anywhere here in Texas for about $300. I wasnt asking them to ship it to Hawaii...

Best truck buying experience ever ! I found a truck on the Vandergriff website, and stopped by the dealership the next day to take a closer look . From the minute my wife and I walked in, our experience was fantastic . Our first contact was with Reggie (sales manager) and he set us up with a salesperson . I can’t say enough good things about Madi Green ! She has a no pressure style that was refreshing to say the least !! She was extremely knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with . Look her up when you need/want a new vehicle, you will not be disappointed !

I have 2 vehicles, one is a Chevrolet and the other is a Dodge. My Dodge has been at the dealer for weeks so when my Chevy appeared to need a new battery, I knew I had to get on it. The appointment was easy. The service advisor was prompt and professional. They were able to repair a small issue instead of replacing my battery. That’s called integrity. The Dodge dealership needs to go to Vandergriff Chevrolet for customer service training.

I would give negative stars if I could. I brought my 2020 truck in for an issue and never got an update. The truck sat there for two days- I was the one that had to call daily for updates and still never received any because after two days they still had not looked at it. I didn’t even get a loaner so I was out a car during that time. Finally after the second day I told them I would come in to get it at a certain time whether it had been looked at or not, and they didn’t have it pulled for me. I will never be back to this dealership.

Theyre great with sales...but the actual vehicle service... I strongly recommend anybody but them! Got my car back with scratched up rims and of course they didnt do it which they did and it was returned dirty even tho it had a fresh detail!!! Not worth the headache!!! Oh, and did I mention I had just bought the car less than 12 hours prior and had to take it back due to a defective driver seat and this is how it was returned to me!!! Horrible, avoid this location!!!

Great crew and service staff. Cody K is the man. Thanks for taking care of my vehicle so quickly.Edit: 1 day after parts were ordered and replaced for my 2014 Volt for an error message saying Service High Voltage System the error message is back and the vehicle is no longer charging.
