Rude customer service. Overpriced items as well. Id recommend yall checking Hong Kong market in Grand Prairie out. The smell is horrible too. The cashiers always look like theyre not happy to be there. This place probably treats them horribly.
Talked on the phone with some lady today, instead of being helpful, she was extremely impatient. When she thought the call had ended, she made a rude remark that I could hear.
Arrived at 7:45pm. The security closed the doors and not allow to get in. Change your google time please. Don’t waste people time.
THEE place for Hiệp Thái Food Store. No thrills. Wait in line, order at the counter, theres like guys yelling behind the counter, wait for your food and find a seat outside. Hiệp Thái Food Store. I got the sea bass with Hiệp Thái Food Store. Absolutely perfect. Next time i gotta try their Hiệp Thái Food Store.
I visit this excellent restaurant many times as I love the good air that is part of this place. The team is very loving and experienced. The service is exceptionally quick. Also, the food they serve is great. I have been there more than once and I was always joyful. The payment is honest. I recommend this place to to everybody.
This place smell so bad!! I understand if it was slightly fishy. The smell was like rotten meat!! And the ginger had mold on it.!! In my opinion this store need a good cleaning!!
This is the best Asian supermarket hands down for fish or rare to find produce, very affordable prices. Fresh fish, some are not even frozen, no idea how it came so fresh.
They sold me a spoilt chicken, and l tried to return it but they refused to take it back. I will never shop there again
This store is huge! They have great selections of rice, seafood, vegetables, fruits, drinks, sauces, spices and international food. Great store! 💚
This restaurant is my preferred one. I visit many restaurants but to this place I constantly return again and again. The crew is very professional and the cooking they offer is so yummy. I would always prefer to have a nice dinner here. Highly recommended.
My wife loves this store. They keep it clean. They have a lot of thai and other Asian snacks & food...
This market needs ALOT of training at the checkout. A few times my food was putting into the shopping bag hard, It doesnt matter veggies, can goods, dried food, etc..They dont handle your food with care, it gets dropped into the bag like trash. And then toss it into the cart. It had happened so many times, so finally I said something to the cashier. She appeared to have an attitude and numbing something in Vietnamese. So I was going to ask for the manager but, I was running behind. Later, I called the manager on duty, she was apologizing for her employee for mishandling. A few weeks later, Ive shopped there again. It was a different lady, same routine to our purchased food. This place is unbelievable!! If you dont mind paying for damaged food, this is the go to store!!
We shop at this store regularly - whenever were in the mood to make something Asian for dinner, which is fairly often. The selection of products is extensive - have never failed to find what I came for. Prices are more than reasonable on most items (once picked up a 5 lb. bag of sesame seeds for about $10!). There is a fairly strong fishy odor throughout the store, but considering the large fish market at the back, its not surprising. Have only ever had one bad experience - picked up a bag of fresh lo mein noodles from the refrigerator section that turned out to be moldy when I got it home. There was no problem returning the item and getting a replacement though - they were most cordial about it. Cant figure why some reviewers have commented about the store as a restaurant though . . . Hiep Thai is an Asian grocery - they dont serve prepared food.
Definitely one of cleaner oriental stores. Does have that fishy smell, but not as strong as others and also very convenient with the strip mall next to it. Has vegan/vegetarian meats which is awesome if youre looking for that protein replacement. Has some English speaking workers.
This store sells the standard Asian brand groceries. They have fresh produce & seafood, snacks, canned goods, dried goods, and other items. They sell kitchen and household items. Things are reasonably priced. They also have a little deli with fresh made foods.
The store is overall good. Prices are reasonable. My only complaint is the smell which is terrible. It may come from the old carpet? Please have it replaced or have more ventilation fans to get rid of the bad smell. Thx
I barely give reviews but I gotta warn other customers. Always double-check your receipt, they charged me twice for the same item. I dont know they made a mistake or what, this is the second time this happened.
I really want to give this place a zero star but I can’t. This is due to not have a sign that said “no pets is allowed”. I bring my chihuahua to there holding it and not touching anything. Just standing there with my mother. The security guard said not pets are allowed. Where did it said that? What if my dog a service dog? Are y’all going to kick me out? I was very embarrassed when he said it out a little loud. Jeez. This place doesn’t deserve any costumers at all.
This place is awesome! They have just about every Asian food item you could imagine. The store is really clean as well.
Be careful when shopping at the seafood and meat section. They put the fresh and larger ones on top of not so fresh and smaller ones at the bottom. And they give the bottom ones. Items such as shrimp and meat.
Gauge priced. Over charged and cheats on pricing. Posted one price and during check out the manager charged for different price. When confronted or asked “she said the price changed”. We asked why didn’t she change the posted price and that it was misleading for customers, she replied “because she can do whatever she wanted bc it’s her store.” We also realized upon arriving home that their can goods and dried packages are expired items! Beware and do not shop here.
They do not honor their hours of operations. I was refused entry 20 minutes before they closed. If they are not honoring their posted hours online and on their doors, then they need to change their signs to 6:30 pm. instead of 7:00pm....even when I told the guard that the sign says 7:00 and its only 6:40 he still said no.....worst customer service..
Merchandiser said its in the right place. Then the manager said I cant purchase it for 5.99 because the merchandiser doesnt know what he is doing because he is new. Apparently Customer service sucks, because the customer is always wrong.
Please do not buy crawfish from this market ! My husband bought 34lbs crawfish yesterday . We live 45 mins away . When we got home and cleaned crawfish, 90% of crawfish died . The smell was horrible which proved that crawfish had died before we bought. I never had this one before in any of the market. I called the store twice and talked to people and they was like “did you check if they were alive before “ how can you check ur crawfish if they are in the big tight sack and yeah you can see some moving and how could you be sure they were alive. To me selling crawfish that 90% of the dies is unethical. They told me that some of people have complained before and if they let me refund and they have to refund all of them . Sorry I had to say this if they can’t keep the quality then refund is unavoidable. They tried to tell me call back . If you read this, please reconsider if you want to go to this market . No customer service no quality and not even a little bit of being accountable.
Omg ya’ll.. the smell. To me it smells like rotten meat. Besides that, great price on duck products. Under $2 a lb for heads, feet, & wings.
This is my go to Asian food supermarket... Im able to find the really unique and hard to find foods and ingredients for authentic Asian cuisines... Everything from Thai, Vietnamese, Filipino, Korean, and other Asian dishes...
Place is decent. This is only place where I can buy some fish. New to Dallas dont know otherwise where to go.
Holy authentic selection, Batman! This place is FANTASTIC! Excellent place for interesting ingredients+ HUGE selection+ bizarre choices+ great prices+ fresh seafood (some even still live)+ friendly, knowledgable staff- pungent smell (but what do you expect with such fresh seafood?? Just be warned)I recommend checking out the noodle section & ingredients to make your own boba tea. Its almost too easy!
Found items like Tamarind, dates, mini & burrno bananas, fresh herbs. basically lots of international items. would be perfect if could get assistance or make a area for Sebi items.
Produce fresh. Fair prices. Awesome customer service.
Heres to a new diet trying something different than American and Mexican food big selection of all kinds of exotic stuff
I either come here or HK market place for Chinese grocery. The price is better over here, but HK market have more variety. I think the vegetables here are more sustainable and fresh than HKMP.
This place was in Irving I miss them but where they move is better the place is bigger I like it.🤗🤗🤗😎😎😎
Over pricing! the shrimp paste is only 6.99 now is 9.99 hongkong market and benthan selling the same beand and its only 6.99. And theres more item is over pricing.
This is one of the most friendly markets Ive been to. All their sea food is fresh, the site is clean, and in general, they have the best prices compared to closer stores Ive been to.
Love this store. My 1st time, I was overwhelmed, but now, its good. Now, when U get back to the fish, hold your nose or open your mouth. All fresh most is still swimming. Very good prices, I was paying 4.99 for sweet chili sauce, .99 cents here. Fresh produce, get some Thai basil and infuse it with olive oil best ever. Also if you like garlic, get a bag of fried garlic 1.69 THE BEST!!! Also if you like ramen noodles, get the WaiWai noodles, 6.99 for 30. Each pkg comes with oil, hot sauce and seasoning. Ramen blows after you try these
Dirty. Bad smell in the seafood area. However, the only store in the DFW that sells guavas! My very favorite one in the whole world!!
Decent store. Great for Vietnamese veggies and products
Wide offer of Asian food.Excellent location to buy herbs at good price!
Lots of variety of everything you need ...totally love this store!!!❤
Worst Asian store store to go to, nasty customer service nasty smell
Excellent customer service good job please keep the good work up
Store selection not good and the help trying to find something was awful. The chicken and meat area looked unsanitary.
Went in for one specific brand on noodles and they had none on the shelf. Maybe just picked over because of the holiday.
I havent had any bad experiences as far as Im concerned. They have a good variety of foods that my parents use a lot for cooking.
They have everything you need. I love pho
Great produce and selection of any Asian store in the area.
Great selection of hard to find Asian foodstuffs.
Loved it. Always a great selection!
Great selection for Asian cuisine ingredients. If thats what you look for, youll be at the right place!
Service was so poor. The short hair lady is so rude. Product is expired.
Its a hit or miss on the quality and freshness of their vegetables and fruits.
Great quality abd value on produce!
People are Nice and the store is always clean.
Great store with nice selection of Asian groceries
Not welcoming at all. I guess its OK to work there if your Mexican, just dont shop there.
Good place to shop for oriental groceries.

I love shopping in here.
Good selections and reasonable prices.
They good store, lot money
I always go there for vegetables you cant find at regular grocery store, and its always fresh.
They sell some stuff cheaper if you buy in bulk. fair selection of ethnic foods
I called to see if they were open and a woman did pick up. But as soon as I said asked about the opening time she put the phone down and waited as if I was going to hang up. A few moments later she ended the call.Very rude!
1.88 lbs green mango rotten inside
Good stuffs at reasonable prices
They dont care enough to keep the outside patio clean.
Good grocery variety.
The customer service person was very very rude, I was shocked.
Usually come here for hard to find items... Their sign says closes at 9pm, came at 8:45pm and was told the store is closed. Not cool!
Probably the closest Asian market to Fort Worth.

Go to this market, remember to check the bill.Remember to go early before closing time (When you come late to check out the cash, it is so deep) You dont have to go ask for something to buy.It was almost close to closing time so it was very urgent to go home.It charges quickly. So its easy to get confused. The cashier was not sympatheticPreparing to close the door, he was about to go to someone but bought a lot of things, he did not like to charge much, he was tired of it.The other sister stood behind me waiting for him to charge her and scolded her like a baby, and I tied a plastic bag by hand, it also scolded him. (Living in America without culture, crippled pants Isnt it okay to talk politely?) Be careful the kids charge the bill. (Stand by counting the money to make his mothers voice but the owner of the market is sure from anyone to buy) dark stuff. For those who intend to send Vietnamese goods to Yens mother at Hiep Thai market, please think again. Do not go cheap but lose things with more illnesses and take time. Goods are late. Delivered to a relatives house in Vietnam was ransacked. What 2 bottles it took 1.My case sent 1 box of items with insurance. Arrived 1 Week late in Vietnam. 2 bottles of perfume it took 1chai. When I met Yens mother and asked for money for the perfume bottle, she made an appointment to choose. It took time and added anger, until the 4th time she would pay for the perfume again. Think again, everyone. Here in Arlington, there are many places to send goods to Vietnam. People do not lose a lipstick very well, so dont be too cheap and regret late. Remember, remember not to send goods to Vietnam. Yen in the Hiep Thai market, everyone. They do business without responsibility. I am not alone, but my relatives and friends have also lost it.Since I am also Vietnamese, I want everyone to know and be cautious when coming to this place. (I buy another market without this market, I walk into the market, it just stinks, Not happy with the cashiers, Just got sick charge wrong money, And also lost things when sending goods to Yens mother.) Everyone, please consider again when arriving at this place.
The customer service is not good
The previous price was very close to other supermarkets, but now many things are getting more and more expensive, I have not gone for a while. But the vegetables are very fresh
This market sells more expensive items than other markets in the arlington area
Excellent place to buy seafood and good service.
Fresh fish good size
Variety of everything the fishmonger, meat, fruit, vegetables, all very good.
