This store has been a family favorite shopping site for many years. Anytime we are close by we stop or our traditional family get togethers usually start here. Culturally we are Japanese, Okinawan and Mexican so this place covers all our bases lol. From fresh live fish prepared and or cooked anyway you like to the many different fruits and vegetables from our homelands we miss, I truly cant say enough about this glorious Asian spot.

Very huge selection of produce meats and whatever you can think of. Im very happy with the service every time I come in they are very helpful especially if you dont know exactly what something is they will explain it to you if you ask.

Very rude staff (the old man who always be there). Hes yelling at me when I asked for an item I didnt not know where it was. Never come back again. Theres many Asian Market that treat customers right.

Fresh seafood on deck, awesome little Asian Market..but u have to go to the back for freshly cooked egg rolls, smoked duck or any other Asian food u wanna try....

Good veggies to buy here. Seafood and other meats are great. Only thing that I was bothered with was the horrible smell entering the store that just made me walk through the store quite quickly, realizing that that smell came from the jackfruit. Not a fan of that fruit but, I do respect that a lot of us have a different taste pallet that amazes me. Would I shop here in the future......Absolutely! I believe the more you smell something that doesnt pleases you, the more you get use to that smell.

Great place to get fresh fish and, craw fish crab. They will even fry it for you nice clean place. Huge selection of international foods, expand your horizons people. Can buy a whole pig, even duck. Great place to check out.

Great place to find Asian foodstuffs, their rice selection is top notch, curries, and noodles too. But wouldnt use the mobile kiosk; I did a few years back and Im still getting Chinese spam calls, I mean in chinese language so I dont even know how to opt out

I shopped at this store because its convenient for me. The food is adequate and the price is pretty reasonable. If youre looking for fresh seafood, this is the place because they deep fry fish for a fee depends on the weights. Dont expect for a stellar customer service because thats typical unless youre local you may receive a greeting of hello and goodbye. lol.

I bought 🐟 from the store today 08/07/2021.One of the guys stole part of the 🐟 which l would pay for and l reported the incident to the guy who calls himself manager.This guy doesnt have managerial skill at all.He told me lf l dont want the 🐟 l should leave.Stealing is encouraged...Stay alert and watchful when you buy 🐟 from this store.

I absolutely love this market! It has everything I need to make a wonderful japanese dinner. The place is always clean and the staff always friendly.

I dont know if they have a bathroom but besides that, they have lots of options. I was able to find these two specific flavors not in other stores. The Buldak Carbonara and Buldak Cheese.

Live the Egg Rolls

Its a real neat store. They sell all types of stuff mainly asian items. The store is very dirty which gives off the bad seafood smell. The place is not bad though with the products it sells.

Anything seafood is found here. The service was great but wasted quite some time to get my purchases.

Employees here are very rude to white people.

I have been going here for years. The sea food selection is much better than most grocery stores.

IDK about the rest of the place because we really just go there for the egg rolls. Just make sure you bring cash. But they are SO GOOD!!!!

Customers toilet is very unhealthy. Health department need to visit the store. The store is smiling funny. The whole store is poor in hygienic.

Great market for what they offer, vegetables, fruit, lots of packaged goods. You can buy fish and have it fried right on the spot.

I love being able to get fried fish, lumpia and banh mi and excellent produce all in one place. Dont forget to bring cash for the lumpia and banh mi spot on the right inside area.

This is one of favorite oriental market. They everything i need.

Small enough to get in and get out quickly. Big enough to have all the Oriental grocery I need. Good price for pork product and veggies. Most items are affordable and easy for my pocket. Least quality product is the frozen food, sweet, & ice cream..avoid them. Deep fried fish service is great. No mess for me.

The smell is awful at this place

Its took almost an hour to buy live catfish.

Everyone was very nice and the place was pretty cool. A common complaint in the reviews is that it smells fishy but that only really is the case if you go back to the fish and it isn’t even too bad. They have a huge Walmart sized isle of JUST RAMEN. Needless to say, we’re stocked up on interesting snacks for a while. They also have cheese bread in the same brand that you usually buy at conventions so if you’ve got a bit of con sadness, you can just go get some cheese bread.

Clean and crowded as always

Visited the store this week. Inadequate COVID19 related social distancing protocols in place. Some store employees did not wear face masks. There are no markings on the floor to direct one-way traffic or enforce the 6 ft. distancing needs. There are no pexiglass barriers at the check out counters. Felt very unsafe and left ASAP...

Its gonna be my go to while in Tx for fresh seafood

I love this market because of the variety of fishes, shrimps and the fact that you can pay for it to be cleaned and fried. Once in a while if youre lucky you can find amazing fresh mangoes in the box but today I didnt like the mangoes. Its a good and clean environment to shop

Nice spacious Asian grocery store that has all of the typical products, produce, fresh fish, and more. Decent prices. They have a corner store for roasted meats and Vietnamese sandwiches.The reason for only 3 stars is that I noticed a lot of dirty ceiling tiles with huge dark spots and the exterior could use some touch-up paint and cleaning. Other local Asian grocery stores look much more modern than this place.

I didnt want to shop here for the second time, so I thought I would give it a second chance. Discrimination at its best here against African Americans, At the fish department the Asians and Mexican ignore you and dont want to help you. My husband and I was the only people waiting for fish. We dealt with attitude, playing like they dont understand us, and refusing to help is until I went to the front to get a manager. African shop there and you can just stand back and watch them being ignored they will have to beat on the counter or yell. When people dont want you in their store dont go and give them business.

This is a good Asian market with nice selection. Yes, it is an old building and shows its age - a little renovation would go a long way, but considering the neighborhood, not likely soon. I did notice them sprucing up the entry... a good start.The store is reasonably clean with little of the troubling fish pong you often find in Asian markets. A good sign. I notice many reviewers complain of poor service in the fish/meat section but Im mostly not a flesh eater so not my area. Same with the pre-cooked food section as I trust few kiosk environments to prepare food for me.They have a good selection of produce which is in nice condition and seems fairly priced. Some of the aisles are cluttered - is that the standard in Asian markets? I dont recall one that isnt like that.As in shopping everywhere, check expire dates. I have had no problem in that area. I think their product turnover mostly eliminates the problem. Still, i check those dates and product seals wherever I shop.As for service, I find their people try to be helpful though between language challenges and the vast differences in product names it can be a challenge. I suggest a sense of humor and a bit of patience and youll find what you need. (It took a while but we did eventually get that white miso I needed :)

Nice products. Very very rude set of employees in the fish section, especially the very young man who has not been there for a very long time. Some of the guys at the fish section act like theyre doing you a favor. Every opportunity to work is an honor. It should show in their approach to their jobs. If you think youre too good to do a job, then quit.

The produce looks second rate. Must buy what other vendors dont. Do your own comparison shopping and make up your own mind. Other Asian markets sell the same things price may vary but only slightly. As per other comments about rudeness very true and Im Asian!!! Born and reared here and the Manager treats me as though I am going to do something terrible. Thumbs down on this place. Take your hard earned money and spend it where youre treated respectfully.

Not too superfluous of options but has anything youd need, esp seafood and diverse condiments. theres a bakery inside to the left of the entrance where you can get some delish eggrolls and even banh mi. plenty of parking, but be careful of inconsiderate pedestrians.

VERY RUDE, THEY HAD THE CLOSING TIME ON THE ENTRANCE AND TOLD ME THEY WERE CLOSED WHEN WAS 30 MINUTES TILL CLOSING TIME. DONT GO THERE.

Cant wait to come back because they always have fresh meat and what ever you are looking for this is the place to go
