My experience with ABW was a mixed bag. ABW bought out the company from which I purchased my freezer. A technician from the previous company found that the door was actually deformed so that the interior light switch would not work properly. At that point, my problems began. Having been given a 3-4 week delivery time for the door, I found that to be totally incorrect. In fact, the door took about 3 months be delivered. During that time I was given more incorrect information up until about 2 days before the door was supposed to be delivered. Additionally, NONE of my calls were returned. All follow-up was initiated by me, even after I was promised call-backs numerous times. Finally, by chance, I was connected to Vicki Fox. At that point, the whole experience dramatically changed! I told her my sad tale and how frustrated I was. She took all the information, said she would investigate, find out where the door was and get a firm delivery date for me. I had doubts, but she came through exactly as she promised. She followed up with me several times, and adjusted our delivery date when a conflict arose on my end.When the door was delivered, Brian, the technician did a superb job quickly and professionally. Kudos to Vicki and Brian for turning a very frustrated customer into a fan!
ABW came through for me when I needed a new refrigerator unexpectedly. I called Mr Terry Lane who helped me find a great replacement in record time! The delivery crew (Jimmy and associate) was ahead of schedule, careful not to disturb anything in my home, worked quickly and left without a trace. Good communication by Jenny by text and email. From disaster on Tuesday afternoon to new fridge on Friday morning, I couldn’t ask for better service. When I need new appliances I’ll call ABW first.
The delivery folks did a great job, particularly getting the old freezer out of a tight spot.
I purchased a dishwasher from Donald Smith. He was fantastic. Not only did he help me find what I was looking for, he kept an eye out on my product and would keep me updated on the delivery and the Covid related delays. When he noticed that the dishwasher I ordered was going to be delayed even further, he found a similar one of the same brand that was available within a matter of a couple of weeks. So we got our dishwasher months sooner than we would have if we would have waited for the original one that we ordered. He is definitely deserving of five stars!!! I would highly recommend working with him.
I ordered my LG Thin Q by phone . Terry was my salesman. It was in the height of Covid and no vaccines out, so I did everything virtually, to include the pre-site visit for measuring the location. I am in a condo so the wash closet is a tight fit. All went perfect! The delivery was exceptional with the app where you can track driver location and what position you are in the delivery queue for the day. I will definitely use ABW for future appliance purchases.

My microwave conked out just as I prepping it for sale — disaster! Fortunately I was working with Vicki Fox in Customer Service. She was always courteous, professional, and resourceful in tracking down needed parts, no mean feat given shortages during the pandemic. I commend her highly to ABW’s management team — Vicki deserves high praise and a raise.
I had an amazing experience at ABW! The showroom is stunning and has a very large inventory on display. I worked with Vernon, who was great every step of the way. He was friendly, patient and had answers to all of our questions. My favorite thing was that Vernon took the time to point out little details that one would only notice after some time owning an appliance. It was really helpful to notice these things in advance. I can’t recommend ABW enough!
Pacco and Sergio came here to install my rangetop. Let me tell you, they were the most knowledgeable, experienced and friendly team I have ever encountered! Donald Smith is an absolute pleasure to work with! He quickly resolved an outstanding action after my appliances were installed in July. While it was “small in the big picture”, it was something that really made my new kitchen shine. He handled things in the most professional and friendly way. While I did not originally work with Donald on my appliance purchase, I would have loved to have the opportunity earlier on and would not hesitiate to have anyone ask for him to buy their appliances. If my very positive experience with Jovana is a valid indicator about the quality of the ABW sales staff, I can only say ABW is a model of how a good customer experience should be. Jovana not only had a warm and winning personality, but her energy and responsiveness to get me the appliance that I wanted could not have pleased me more. Jovana was knowledgeable and supportive in expediting the sales process without putting any pressure on me just to make a saleShe let me be her guide in terms of the performance requirements that I Was looking for, and responded with information that responded directly to my questions and which gave me information that was helpful in making my final selection. Jovana responded to every message tat I sent her with amazing speed. There was no message that I sent her that I had to wait more than an hour for her to respond. What also was impressive was that she knew what she knew and also was honest about what she did not know. In the latter case she quickly consulted with other ABW staff and got back to me very quickly.When the time came to do some pre installation measurements in my kitchen, They had to be done virtually. Jovana added Travis to the mix at that point and clearly guided me through the process exhibiting the same personal qualities that I admire in Jovana.It is not unusual for a sales experience to be unpleasant. Not this one! Goodby Best Buy.! In the future ABW will be my go to place for major appliance needs. Great people, competitive prices, a wide selection of brands, knowledgeable about products and rapid response. What more could one ask?
We began looking for a replacement for our Kitchen aid built-in refrigerator in May and were helped by Donald Smith. He was very professional. There was a huge backlog for all of ABWs competitors, but ABWs price-point and handling of our situation were what tipped the scale. Given the current situation with COVID-19, we. appreciated his coaching to cope with unavoidable delays.. ABWs installation crew was also top notch. We highly recommend ABW and Mr. Smith.

We were in a pinch with a dying refrigerator that requires a very specific (and fairly unusual) dimensions because of built-in cabinets. While inventory is extremely limited because of 2020 shutdowns, Donald Smith went the extra mile to scour inventory and found us exactly what he needed. The delivery/install team was fast and efficient. It was a very positive experience and we greatly appreciate Donalds hustle and follow through.

We love our new “Bosch” kitchen with a new cooktop, exhaust fan, microwave, dishwasher, double oven, and refrigerator/freezer. We worked with Tobi Quinn who gave us first-class service, providing advise, technical guidance, and on-site look (more than once) feel and touch until we were comfortable with the Bosch selections we made. We wanted a beginning-to-ending vendor experience, in other words, they survey, order, deliver, install & haul away, and service the products, all ABW employees, no repeat no sub- contractors which are often used as an excuse for poor service. ABW does it all, and does it professionally. Thinking of upgrading your kitchen, don’t forget the survey piece, my old appliances were 15 years old, and over those 15 years things have changed, new AC connectors, new exhaust vent connections, appliance sizes have changed, etc so you need a good survey to minimize installation issues. ABW knows these things and the team members work the issues together to ensure customer satisfaction. Tobi also ensured we got all the associated Bosch price breaks, refunds, discounts, etc. We don’t make a lot of vendor recommendations, but honestly, ABW is a notch above, got an appliance problem; give ABW a chance to solve it. I was chatting with Mr. Terry Lane and was impressed with how much better it was working directly with a pro than just online with a big box store website. Mr. Lane agreed to talk about my choices by phone and we found exactly what I needed and he took care of everything else. Within a short time, the fridge was ordered and all squared away and I was free to deal with many other pressing things. I didnt have to go to the store and talk to folks less experienced. Terry was friendly, attentive and efficient.
ABW was great to work with on sales and their installation was even better. Just got appliances installed and then installers were helpful and worked through a couple of issues with our contractor. Expect to enjoy the appliances and look to ABW if any issues arise.

Pedro Jose and his assistant Luis were amazing. After 2 other ABW teams couldn’t solve the problem and an outside plumber gave up, I was about to trash the icemaker. Our ABW salesperson, Steele Pierre, was as attentive and resourceful as he always is. He was sure there was an explanation. Sure enough between Steele and Pedro they discovered the problem and efficiently fixed it. Once again, I’m an ABW fan.
Sun and Winter (real names of ABW repairmen) fixed our range. They called ahead, were neat, efficient and professional. They explained the repair and how to better maintain our range. Best experience imaginable.

AWB did the installation of a new motor for an extractor hood. ABW sent two technicians, Sun and Winter, who called me 15 min before their arrival. They worked very quickly and it took them less than 20 minutes in total to replace threes motor. Good job!

These guys are fantastic. Our old fridge died (bad compressor) just after we restocked it. I had some unique dimension requirements. Terry Lane helped me find the right refrigerator and made extra effort to get it scheduled for delivery in two days, during the pandemic no less.Other sites were showing no delivery for several weeks.I highly recommend them.
I am very happy with my new Jenn-Air electric downdraft range purchased from ABW, Sales Consultant Terry Lane. The range looks great and has many special features - the smooth top elements heat up and cool down quickly, a cool touch safety feature that prevents getting burned from touching hot burners, oven door glides shut, just to mention a few. Many thanks to Mr. Lane for sharing his expertise and knowledge about the product, and guidance/help with the online purchase. Mr. Lane was very patient and a pleasure to deal with as it took me several months to make my up my mind to buy the range. In addition, the delivery men were efficient and courteous.

Great job, Sun fixed what previous techs screwed up. Sun figured out that the icemaker water line was not properly clamped and came loose resulting in water leaking onto the floor from the ice maker reservoir.

$440 for installation of a Sub Zero refrigerator that cost double what i paid for my first car, by 2 guys who didnt have a clue beyond making sure it was level. Water and ice dispensers are not operating and they advised they have no idea how to make either work. We just install. Great. Called the office before they left and, well, MAYBE tomorrow someone can call us back. $440 for THIS? Next call will be to my credit card company to report the failure to deliver and install the product we paid for. For $440 they should send TRAINED installers who know the basics of how this ungodly expensive product should be installed so that it actually works.11/29 update. Well, we now have a fully working fridge, but only because we insisted this was not a service issue, but an installation problem. Recommend you train your installers to justify your exorbitant installation fee. If they dont have a clue, why are you charging $440? Good news is that we were able to persuade them to send out an installation manager who was (with a little prodding) ready and able to figure out the installation issue. So upgrade to 3 stars.
I bought a chest freezer in late March and was helped by Donald S. He was very professional and courteous and really took the time to help me find the right freezer. There was a backlog on freezers, but Donald contacted the company and gave me a delivery date of May 8th. Given the current situation with COVID-19, I knew that there could be delays. I was ecstatic when Donald wrote me to tell me that the freezer would be delivered on May 8th. I really appreciated his diligence in following up on the delivery. I highly recommend ABW and Donald S.

ABW Arlington knocked it out of the park! I will never buy from a big box again when the service you get at ABW is first rate from start to finish. Once we decided on the appliances I kept waiting for the ball to drop. The site survey was a breeze and gave me peace of mind knowing what we had selected was going to work out. Then the purchase was a breeze. Working with the installation scheduling crew was really fantastic and they worked with me to find the best date and time. The real kicker was the installation crew. Very professional and meticulous. Never saw that coming. The easiest process imaginable. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

I gave them 3 tries. Was not even greeted once. Having run numerous retail stores, I think the customer service was horrible. They easily lost $14K worth of appliance business for 1 of my properties....and also, my other properties. 3 strikes. I do not see them lasting with this poor customer service. The store layout looked nice and appealing, just not greeted or even acknowledged for that matter. Pretty bad when I have purchased over $700, 000 in appliances for over 50 properties.

My wife and I worked with Howard Artis at the ABW Arlington location on selecting appliances for our new kitchen over a period of 10 months. We finally purchased a SubZero refrigerator, Wolf stove, Bosch dishwasher, Perlick wine chiller and Vent-A-Hood exhaust. As well as being personable, Howard is extremely knowledgeable about all these brand appliance models and options. He noticed immediately that I had picked a Vent-A-Hood with limited clearance based on my online research. He is the most knowledgeable sales person that we talked to about kitchen appliances and I highly recommend him and ABW.

Terrible customer service. Every phone call yields a different story about what they are doing. Have they ordered the appliances? One day no, the next day yes. Are they planning on hauling away your appliance? One never knows. Stay away from this vendor. Not only do they not have a good handle of their records or their schedules, but their team will not take responsibility for ensuring a positive customer experience.

Do not use unless you want continuous headaches. We remodeled our kitchen and bought all new appliances from ABW - double oven, range top, dishwasher etc. Within a year, our oven malfunctioned & our rangetop discolored. I have been trying to get them to fix my oven & rangetop for 6 months! They come out, tinker with something, then say its fixed. Nope - I continuously get error messages. I asked for a new oven altogether, but they said that would be a fight with Kitchenaid. Not sure why, since it is obviously faulty.They had to replace the discolored piece on my rangetop too - they ordered the piece in Dec. It was on back order until Feb. They came to install it in March. It was dented, so they took it back. The second piece was back ordered too, so they came in May to install that one. That was also dented. What dont they check these things before bringing it to the house? It is now June & they are supposedly suppposed to come install it today, but they are late. They were supposed to come between 10-12. At 8:30 they called & said he was on his way. Its now 10:05 and they aren’t here. So not only do they sell crappy appliances, but their service is horrendous. I would never buy anything from them again.
Stay away! Bad service, bad communication, indifference, and low working standards. Unfortunately I paid for my dishwasher at this place beginning of August. The salesman Spencer did not warn me that it was on back order. After numerous checks and call backs from me to them Aisha from the delivery department promised the delivery on Aug 29, only calling on 28 th to tell me it was backordered and they do not have it. She promised it on Sept 17 th. I called again, she promised to call back on Wed, did not happen, after my call again she told me the delivery will happen on Sept 24 th. Stay away from this business! Will never order again from them!
ABW was recommended to me by a builder. I am extremely disappointed by their customer service. My less than two year old appliances have had three service calls - which is not their fault. However, in two of the three calls, I was told I would get a call back to let me know when a part had arrived and follow-up service could be scheduled. No call, either time. I had to repeatedly follow up, only to find that the part had arrived earlier. Since the beginning of this year, as I was trying to call and schedule service for my third repair, I was not able to reach the service department; the call would go to an untended voicemail, and there was no way to reach a live person. When I finally did get someone live to pick up a call, I was told that they have been having problems with their new phone service all year. Unacceptable. Finally - three weeks after the third repair, I received a call from ABW telling me that Kitchenaid was not going to cover the cost of the part b/c my cooktop was out of warranty. This DESPITE the fact that, at ABWs urging, I had purchased a (quite expensive) extended warranty for my entire suite of kitchen appliances directly from ABW prior to the one-year warranty running out. That warranty was supposed to cover all parts and service. When I informed ABW of this on the phone and asked why the extended warranty is not in their own records, the response was basically, oh. Maddening.NOTE: It took ABW 9 months to respond to this post...FOLLOW-UP, MAY 2019: I had an issue with our KitchenAid microwave recently, filed a claim through the extended warranty, and reached out to ABW (as the warrantys service provider) for help. The repair was tricky, requiring three separate visits, but Ryan Simon, the companys CEO, got involved and sent his most experienced repair person our way - and that solved the problem! I appreciated the assistance from the top; hence the revised stars rating.

I visited this location a couple of months ago to see what they were all about. My first impression upon entering the store was bad...VERY bad. Theyd just opened, and there were several employees milling around and sitting at the desk area that they have set up in the front. I walked in, several of the employees looked up at me, then looked back down at whatever they were working on at their computers. The ONLY employee to actually greet me and say hello was the woman that was sweeping/moping the floor. !! She wasnt a salesperson...she was the custodial staff. I should have left right then and there....but I had questions and was curious as to what the store had to offer.Finally I was asked by one of the guys sitting at the computer if I needed assistance. No, I just like wandering into stores aimlessly. .... For whatever reason he was not equipped to assist me so he called some other guy from the back to come talk to me. This guy was at least pleasant and marginally helpful. I quickly realized that my limited & amateur knowledge of appliances and the brands offered for sale here exceeded this guys by a vast degree. Thats never a good sign. Towards the end of my visit, this guy wasnt even able to provide me anything more than contact information for ANOTHER guy that wasnt at work that day! He refused to even print out a quote for me!It appears that they are on a heavy commission setup here. But it doesnt appear that they even know how thats supposed to work. Im used to commissioned employees doing their best to earn your business. They didnt even do half of their best.The name of the store is VERY misleading and borderline dishonest. The term Wholesale is generally agreed to be an indication that pricing is going to be a tad lower than general retail & MSRP. This is very very very far from the truth here. Their prices are pretty much in line with every other local retailer and big box store that sells appliances. Id assumed (incorrectly) that they also worked directly with contractors & The Trade to facilitate a more streamlined shopping & product selection process. This is not the case at all.Their knowledge of the product lines that they carry is rudimentary at best; if you read the product brochure, youll know just about as much about the product as they do....at least the guy that was assisting me. I may revisit this place in the future just to see if my initial visit was a fluke....but based on the lack of reviews here and elsewhere online...im assuming that this place is leaving everyone with the same impression. Considering that their direct competition is just a mile down the road, youd think theyd put forth a stronger effort.Two stars based on my experience during my initial visit. Ill give them one star for their impressive showroom and product selection. Another star for their convenient location. The remaining stars are docked for poor initial greeting to potential customers, misleading business name, lack of knowledge/expertise on all of their product lines.Perhaps their service improves once theyve verified that youll actually be spending money? Thats no way to run a business in my opinion. Therere plenty of competitors in the region that put forth a stronger effort to earn clients and im happy to do business with them instead.
Its been two weeks and two reminders since we visited their location and met with a sales rep who promised us a quote for the appliances we wanted to purchase and still no quote. Apparently they dont care to have our business.
