I was taking my son car camping around the country and we broke down in Arlington Heights. After speaking with Scott (amazing person with great integrity), Adam (a mechanics mechanic) and Chris, the owner, I think we are going to have a great experience. You know when you use AAA and you wait at least an hour minimum. Well it was my lucky day when I broke down on the interstate and I got Rachel their dispatcher and person who runs the show. She was so professional and so nice and she sent her guy out there within minutes. Then The technician who was sent was even more professional, fast and so personable. Great guy. I realized around 3:50 p.m. that my left headlamp was burned out. After going to 3 places, I went to OReillys Auto Parts and they recommended going across the street. Little did I know, that All About Automotive closes at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and it was almost that time. Scott, the manager, asked me to pull my car around and he worked on it and was able to replace the bulb. He finished around 5:45 p.m. and I asked, When do you close? and he replied, 5:00 p.m. I was totally grateful that being Easter weekend that Scott was able to change the bulb and did so even though the shop was supposed to be closed. Scott is knowledgeable, personable, and willing to do what is necessary. The charge was reasonable, the work was done correctly, and Scott is a great manager. Thank you for making my weekend safe!

All About Automotive was by far the best shop in all of the Chicago suburbs. There prices were unbeatable. Employees were tremendously kind and do fantastic work. There service is done on time every time. They recommended me routine services that ended up saving me hundreds down the road. All their mechanics do excellent work and never had an issue with any car I’ve brought in for service. I been going to them for years and won’t go to any other shop ever again. The front desk was very helpful and the nicest guy I’ve ever done business with. HIGHLY recommend getting your car done here and no other place ever again!

The team at all about automotive is a real asset to AAA. They were very responsive. Carlos, Who came out to help me, took great care of me, very friendly and totally professional. After being dispatched, he called me directly to pinpoint my location and give me an ETA. He had the right equipment, knew what he was doing, and got me back on the road in a few minutes. He worked out quite a sweat doing it, and I can’t thank him enough for it!

I needed a passenger mirror replaced. I live right next door and had never thought to get any work done here, which I now regret. I already had the part, they took me in within an hour and had the mirror replaced within an hour. Friendly people, youre not getting the well, we also noticed that..... shenanigans. You won’t get the cheapest service here but you will definitely get honest service, full transparency, and the repairs your car is actually in need of. They don’t try to rip you off or sell you unnecessary repairs. If you went to a sketchy mechanic before, they will definitely let you know what they find. If you want the job done correct and promptly, these are your guys. They offer a discount if you have Triple AAA as well. Great communication.

Used their towing service via AAA. Have encountered 3 different drivers in the past 18 months and all were very respectful to both me and my vehicles. Great people to do business with. Dont like when my car breaks down but do have peace of mind when this company pulls up to assistance me.... recommend them for all/any towing needs.

Had to find a nearby auto shop as a small part of my car fell off and I didn’t know how severe it was. Diagnosis was fast, but they wanted me to replace it while it turns out that it fell off only because the screw was loose (confirmed later by a dealer and another auto shop I frequently visit). In the end they just put that part back in because no replacement was available. Not sure if they wanted to play safe or simple or just simply wanted to increase their revenue.Other than that, the work is good and fast. Labor is $140 per hour but I guess that could be normal. They offer a free oil change for people leaving good reviews on Google/Yelp so be careful about what has been said about this shop so far.

This is the only shop I come too. I trust these guys unequivocally! They tell it like it is and are honest and professional. Having a mechanic who’s honest and reliable is so important in a world where everyone is out for themselves. Now my wife comes here too and we always tell people about this place too. And if your lucky the puppy will be there when you visit.

I have AAA and needed a tow because the car wouldn’t start. The hubby mustve been in a strange mood to let them talk him into trying their shop, when all along we have a reputable and trusted shop we always go to. They charged us $275 to tell us in technical nonsense terminology that our key fob needed a new battery. They did no work on the car!They didn’t need to because we brought the other keys, which did work.They are probably fine for a tow. Do not trust them for anything else. Our mistake, rather hubbys mistake. Good sales pitch tho. Run far away!4 stars for the tow. They did a good job with that.Zero stars for the repair shop. Not trustworthy and only out to get your hard earned money.

Confusing surprises as Ive encountered before at other places dont arise.A favorite is that they will outline everything (I have an old but very low-mileage car) that needs attention in detail, then prioritize it in order of safety issues when a bottomless bank balance for repairs isnt available. They dont try to up-sell me to do things I dont need to, or to buy more, or of a higher quality than is indicated when there are options.With the few services they dont offer, or odd parts I could buy directly for less than they could, theyre happy to figure out and to inform me where to go to buy it or get the work done in the highest-quality but least expensive manner.Theyre energetic and workmanlike, but not pushy or pressuring. All have displayed engaging personalities and good humor.Theyre an extremely experienced team that masterfully address advanced, and or complicated questions with ease. I do not live in Arlington Heights. My truck needed the brakes fixed. I brought my truck in on Saturday morning and got it back Saturday night without an appointment. I cannot receive such great service where I live in Indiana. People in Arlington Heights are blessed to have such a great repair facility.

I broke down on I-90 right before the Arlington Heights exit. It was late, and my dealer was far (and closed) so John towed my car to the nearby All About Automotive shop. Scott called me first thing the next morning. After checking my engine, he told me it was a big issue, but was probably covered by my dealer (known issue). Scott called the local dealer for me to make sure, and then put me in contact with them. Im so appreciative for Scott going above and beyond to help me! He and John made a potentially stressful situation very easy on me.

Just wanted to give a shout out of THANKS to the entire crew that repaired my sons 2000 Monte Carlo electrical issues . Scott was relentless in finding the correct wiring harness and keeping his word that this car would get fixed.. It wasnt a easy fix but the car runs like new and its nice to see a working dashboard. AAA sent them to tow a box truck from my driveway today. It was in a poor location, but the driver was unfazed and had great ideas (and strength plus determination) and it was on the truck in no time. We got stuck in a ditch on a rainy night and AAA sent them to pull us out. Immediately after speaking with AAA a dispatcher called to let us know a driver was on his way. AAA gave an estimate of an hour and a half but they arrived on scene in about 15 minutes. The driver was kind and his first priority was our safety. He was able to quickly winch us out.

The staff and technicians are marvelous. They have salvaged a car of mine that blew an engine and theyve done two major repairs on my replacement vehicle. So I now bring it there regularly for oil changes, and theyve even offered to top of my brake fluid until I can afford to get THAT fixed... No one likes to get the bad news about car repairs, but these folks make it as pleasant and professional as possible. HIGHLY recommend them.

AVOID THIS REPAIR SHOP AT ALL COST!!!I have no idea how this company has a AAA rating, they must just hand that to anyone who asks. Absolutely horrible service work, owner is a snake oil salesmen. First time my vehicle was in, it took them nearly 30 days to get it back. Yes, multiple visits, mind you. I had to bring it back because the work they completed wasnt done properly and oil was leaking everywhere. Then, it took them nearly three weeks to get it back to me that time. The whole time the owner, Chris, was lying to me about parts being delayed. Driving the truck the next day, after being picked up...the check engine light turns on. Turns out to be a blown turbo, an issue I asked them to look into the first time I brought it in and they told me vehicle was fine no issues.

Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! Is all I can literally say, I’m completely dumbfounded I even wasted my time with this company. You have management who are more immature than the employees! Dispatchers never get along, that obviously makes it your problem and the job harder smh. The owner CANNOT pay his employees correctly. My experience at All About Automotive was nothing short of exceptional. My vehicle had left me stranded on I90 and I used my AAA roadside assistance to get my vehicle towed. After they promptly attended to my needs, they offered to bring my vehicle to their facility in Arlington Heights to which I agreed. They diagnosed the issue with my vehicle that very same day which turned out to be a fuel pump issue. Chris, the shop owner, was very detailed in explaining the process in which my vehicle was to be repaired. He was very honest and fair in price. I was also given a 2 year 24,000 mile warranty with the work that was performed. They got my vehicle back on the road in a very timely and professional manner. I was in an accident on I-294 just north of OHare airport last Friday afternoon. Justin arrived about a 1/2 hour after I called in the middle of rush hour. He was there before the State Police could respond. They took my car and I to my home. Justin was very personable which was very helpful and comforting considering what had happened. I was very surprised at how reasonable the rate was especially during rush hour traffic.

From the arrival of the service & tow technician, to the time I picked up my car (we had additional services performed), I received great service. We appreciated the frequency of contact that Scott provided, to give us updates on the status of the repairs. Over the 11+ years Ive owned my car, this is the FIRST time I had it serviced by an automotive repair company OTHER than the dealer service. Needless to say, I was tentative at first, but my doubts were quickly assuaged by the explanation and reassurance Scott gave to me. Extremely happy with All About Automotive from my initial experience12/9/18 going through AAA to get a jump start or battery replacement with Jarrett, to finalizing installment of new AAA battery at their shop today Dec 15,2018. See Jarrett recommended I get a new battery when he came out to assess battery on 12/9/18. He offered me a fair price but I declined because it started raining and my battery located under wheel was in a place where car had to be jacked up to change out. Drove a week on that jump and battery died again. This time I spoke with Nora and she suggested I call AAA again .Today I called AAA and Carrieann from All About Automotive called me back within 30 minutes and Marcus jumped my car in 8 minutes from that call. I elected to drive my car to All About Automotive to get AAA battery installed. Once at their shop, Scott took care of me right away was very courteous. They did inspection of electrical and all around check up on car. Was due for an oil change so I had All About Automotive do oil change too. Scott recommended tire rotation and potential timing belt and component kit if belt hadnt been changed on my 2000 Chrysler Sebring convertible. I have free tire rotation from Just Tires but it was Scott who suggested time for tire rotation. Thanked Scott for additional suggestions. Will definitely go back to All About Automotive for future car care. Everyone at the shop was very friendly. I am very happy I brought my car to All About Automotive today.

Honest people to deal with. They are AAA recommend repair shop and include a warranty on all their work.

This company was sent out to start my car, not once but twice by AAA. When the truck came, he never identified himself on the phone, except for saying that he was here yesterday, all he can do is jump my car and I shouldnt turn it off. I didnt feel comfortable with that. He told me he was only a worker and didnt repsent the company. He continued to argue with me on the phone and he asked if I wanted a jump or not. When I came out, he took off. After waiting 5 hours I was mortified. I call him back using my caller ID, I asked him for the number to his boss. He stated We do not service people like you. He hung up. I reported the company to AAA. AAA stated they received a call that service was not given because I was using fowl language. I assure, I did not. With temps in the single digits, anyone who is a good service man would have called to make sure the customer is OK. For the owner to not even follow up is awful. But, the guy did say he wasnt there to represent the company. My question is then who whay type of fraud was sent to my place. DO NOT USE!

I came in with a transmission problem. Nick got my car in right away to diagnose the problem. He kept me informed the whole time on the progress. Great service! You cant go wrong working with him and the guys at All About Automotive. Thanks
